I totally agree with Pete. That promo sounds completely worked. And everything about it, even the supposed apology afterwards, seems like something Russo would do. Right down to having Nash pieface Joe backstage, starting an altercation? Yes, actually. In case you didn't know, he did the EXACT same thing with the shoot on Hogan in WCW; no one really knew it was a work except he and Hogan, JJ got upset and tried to confront Hogan as he came back down from the ring, there were several heated exchanges backstage, and in the end Russo even pised off the ONE person who was in on it because Hogan thought Vince went too far. Up until some months back when Russo posted a blog on it, even Jarett still swore the whole thing was legit. I'm sorry..but the idea that Nash (who tried to work the locker room with the Finger Poke of Doom) confronted Joe doesn't really prove anything.and honeslty that promo an far too long and the reactions looked far too scipted and "in-characte" for me to believe anything a rag sheet says about the incident.

I thiink it could be a good work, though, if done right, if Nash FINIALLY puts over some TNA talent.
Here's the thing I don't get about all this.... Russo and TNA are booking things that rely on shock and suprise for their (excuse the pun) impact, but yet they're doing the SAME things Russo did in WCW for said shock and suprise a few years ago...
Shouldn't someone realize that? I know most bookers assume the fans have no memory, but when things are THIS close, how can you not make the comparison.

And like I said, even more frustrating, is that I'm not sure that TNA has done enough to build it's "homegrown" talent to make it worth putting guys like Joe and Kaz over the 'established' names.
