You know why? Because he wrestled for the WWE. If you were never employed by the best company, you can't be considered better. It's kind of like saying some CFL Quarterback is better than Joe Montana. Joe played in the best league so he's better. Ok ... wow ... if you know me, you know I give credit where credit is due and that is a great comeback. I just like Sting better, he won't ever go to the WWE so I guess we'll never know huh ... Warren Moon was a QB in the CFL. He only threw for 40000+ yards in the NFL...after throwing 20000+ in the CFL. Still, the CFL is CLEARLY an overall lesser league. Personally, I like a NBA-ABA or NFL-USFL comparison better. The NBA and NFL were the bigger draw obviously...but they pulled from the SAME talent pool. The CFL clearly gets guys WHO CAN'T COMPETE in the NFL. The ABA and USFL had MANY guys as good or better than NFL and NBA guys. *cough* Julius Erving *cough*; *cough* Reggie White, Jim Kelly, Herschel Walker *cough*. Better comparison IMO.

TNA has potential but there are so many problems that it is almost impossible to fix it in a short amount of time. And Payback, although I agree with you that HBK is better then Sting, that "He's better because he's in the top league" reason doesn't work in a scripted 'sport'.

Honestly, any true WWE fan should want TNA to succeed. Strong competition will only force WWE to produce better shows and stimulate overall interest.

Since October 1st 2005 the WWE was not interesting to me, but now with the rescent DRAFT I'm watching both the WWE and TNA and I agree that competition will make our wrestling viewership better. I have to say that TNA remains a second class citizen and will we ever see them get close to the WWE, not in the near future. But we need both the WWE and TNA, that was we have more options when it comes to watching wrestling in the main media arena.

And Payback, although I agree with you that HBK is better then Sting, that "He's better because he's in the top league" reason doesn't work in a scripted 'sport'. Yeah, actually it does. Because you have to have the ability to hold a spot in the top league, scripted or not. It's not that hard......Better "league".......is better. Period. I'm not saying Sting is terrible but if you've never wrestled for WWE you can't be considered the best. I don't see how the CFL and Warren Moon goes against my point DEUS. The only reason you know who he is, is BECAUSE HE PLAYED IN THE NFL. If Warren Moon never went to the NFL, you could never put him on the same level as Montana. Well, you could but you'd be wrong.

Sting has never wrestled in the E by choice , not that they didn't want him. I admire him for his convictions.

I don't know Sting was still the top guy in the #1 wrestling promotion in his career at one time so wrestle for the E or not he has got some claim to fame. I still like HBK better but I wont say Sting is a lesser wrestler because he hasnt wrestled in the E. I think the whole discussion is kinda lame because I think Ric Flair is probably the greatest of all time and all of his accolades came from before he stepped in a WWF/E ring. He could have retired in the 90's and still be considered the Greatest of all time. I dont think his time in the E/F added anything other then yeah I wrestled there and succeeded too.

When WCW was bought up, if Sting had headed there, he'd have been main eventing....and he'd have a few WWE championships by now.....hell, if he went there today, he might not be in the world title mix, but he'd figure prominently. Guys who proved themselves in the WCW/NWA are just are credible as guys who did so in the WWE. Ric Flair is the best ever in my opinion, and most of that was WCW/NWA. Vince McMahon doesn't form my opinions for me. I stand by that, and is the last post I'm making on this subject for the time being
