So I'm reading the impact spoilers for next week and here is a tiny peice fot the articel clipped for for your pleasure...
Mike Tenay and Don West talked to the home viewers. “Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner made his way into the Impact Zone. Steiner said a month ago Cage called him and asked how to beat Kurt Angle. Steiner said his contract negotiations were put on hold last September because TNA signed Angle. Steiner said like Angle he had beaten HHH, John Cena and Batista.
when did Scott Steiner wrestle let alone beat Cena and Batista, beat HHH, and when did Kurt Angle beat Batista. And why is TNA using WWE guys name on their stupid TV show?
This has got to be the dumbest shit I ever read about TNA.

Steiner beat Trips by DQ at the 2003 Rumble.
HHH and Angle beat HBK and Batista on Raw, June 20 2005.
Only Steiner/Batista match I can find is a big tag team turmoil one, and Batista won that. Maybe dark shows, back when Cena was Prototype and Batista was Leviathan? Or maybe it's just BS.

Its kinda suprising, for al its faults, insulting their fans intelligence is something WWE is more known for, TNA has generally acknowledged history, and does so correctly.

He didn't finish his statement. He beat those guys in the nuber of times he's loused up a perfectly basic manuver. He also has more self inflicted bicep kisses than any of the men listed! AND he's the only one manly enough to wear chain mail to the ring!
Gods how I hate Scott Steiner. Big Time

Scott Steiner beat HHH by DQ @ the Royal Rumble in 2003, on RAW on Jan. 20th Steiner beat Batista by DQ when Steiner was jumped by a gang of thugs (Flair, Orton, HHH & Batista).
I couldn't find any history of Steiner vs. Cena in any form or federation.

Nice detective work Eliath. If I were TNA i wouldn't try to draw any memories of Scott Steiner in the WWE up considering he didn nothing but fall over and get the hell beat out of him by HHH.
These guys need to concentrate on Styles, Daniles and Senshi and less on HHH, HBK, and anyone else from the WWE.

TNA should just focus on matches and match quality before they decide to work any angles. When they decide that the time is right to work in some angles they should keep them simple and straightforward...involving a clear face and a clear heel...so the fans know who to cheer for.
I think TNA might really believe that they have the fanbase of the WWE and the drawing power. Last time I checked they didn't have either of these, or the ratings to back them up.

I don't mind Steiner running around TNA acting all crazy, just as long as he doesn't wrestle.
Everyone knows TNA can outwrestle WWE, thats why its so sickening to see Russo book that fed like crap, and ruin the product even more. Maybe he felt the in ring stuff wasn't getting it done and they needed more WWE type angles. Obviously Russo is a retard.

I don't understand it either. I mean, I get Russo being Russo and f-ing things up....but say what you want about Jarrett, he and the powers that be over there seemed to have a good thing going. They aren't stupid. Why are they letting this happen?
Storylines are fine, but not when they have Bob Backlund involved, or making a mockery out of the X Division that was so painstakingly built up for years.
I just hope they figure it out before irrepairable damage is done.

WWE in a sense screwed him, and joing the alternative would be perfect payback. remember what happened when WCW f'ed him over? Yup..thats right..ECW happened. I'm starting a petition right now for those who want TNA to look into Heyman. if Heyman was in charge I am sure Samoa Joe would be wearing the NWA belt by now and looking like the monster Taz was back in the day. Thats how highly I think of Joe and his ability.

I think Heyman would be a blessing to TNA and probably the first real working piece if we are ever to get a Fed Wars going again where guys are switching companies and such...
I would watch TNA and support it if Heyman was 100% in charge.

Question to anyone who knows: what exactly is Heyman's status right now? Would he actually be available to go to TNA now? In a few months?

The Things Heyman could do for that company.
Heyman knows how to develope talent instead of burying it, and has the ability to turn someone like Joe into a freakin sawed off monster. Joe has that Taz quality to him, TNA just hasn't been using him right.
Heyman would be a perfect fit. But a move like that would actually be smart. I don't see TNA making a smart move like that, not after this whole Russo crapfest.

All I know is ECW was way better when Heyman was writing it. It kind of went to shit after the Elimination Chamber where Vince changed the outcome of that match (CM Punk was written in to make Big Show submit to the Anaconda Vice but Vince nixed it...).
I still like it though but it's not nearly as good. I really liked the Kelly Kelly angle when Heyman was writing her and now she just dances in the ring and does nothing. lame.

I support the Heyman going to TNA petition! Heyman would be a blessing. Unfortuntely JJ and Russo are close friends and Jarrett believes in him. Why? I have no idea. I mean Russo was a major part of the popular Attitude era and I am sure is a very imaginative person but his day has past like LONG ago. He contributed ALOT to the crap that was WCW after the NWO ran its course but he seems to be stuck in this tweener persona. He wants everyone to be not bad or good but popular doing both and that just ain't gonna happen with the likes of AJ Styles. AJ should be the top face in TNA and do a Steamboat never attempting thing else. I mean like in the feud with Joe and the tag feud with him and Daniels vs. LAX I liked the "I may be a runt but I am one tough SOB" attitude he had but he should never go further down the dark paths. Heyman could come into that federation right now and promote Angle as "godlike" Joe as a "machine" and could turn Christian into the next (Flair/HHH as the best heel in this business. He would correcftly book the talented Senshi and Lethal and those like them who have the talent to showcase. His storylines would be believeable (No taking pop shots to there fathers dome) and turn TNA from the craphole it has become into an actual real alternative to the WWE. I hope Jarrett puts his friendship aside and does what is right for his company and his investors.

I don't think I've ever seen since gray area with the whole hero-villain balance. One week, Angle's the supposed hero, the next he's beating up women. Samoa Joe went hero to villain week to week too. It's now seems 3/4 villains, 1/4 heroes. Your "He wants everyone to be not bad or good but popular doing both" is right on.
