Question to anyone who knows: what exactly is Heyman's status right now? Would he actually be available to go to TNA now? In a few months? I'm posting this again since it got buried, and I'm too lazy today to go fish up an answer. Anyone? I think he has some sort of clause in his contract that won't allow him to work for somebody until his contract is up.. I heard an interview by Tod Gorden where he basically said the E didn't fire Heyman, but just sent him home because they don't want him going to another company. I'm assuming that meant he's still under contract and getting paid, just not working. Vince knows Heyman knows what he's doing, and he also realizes losing Heyman to TNA would be a bad thing. Thats why VKM hired Heyman when ECW went under. H recognized his talent both on air and behind the scenes. He'f been a fool not to utilize him in some capacity.

The officially reponse is : Heyman is still under contract with the WWE, his position uncertain. so there you have it.

My best research has Heyman officially debuting with WWF/E after the demise of ECW on March 5, 2001. ECW officially folded shortly before that.

Scott Steiner's deathjump is an F. Not to get off-topic, but I've always found it slightly weird that the CotG Deathjump rating reflected the wrestler on his back rather than on the top rope. Also, as amusing as ringmaster's icon is (and it's hilarious), if you look closely you can see that his foot got caught on the apron just as he jumped off:

Yeah, I always thought the deathjump thing was a bit odd. I suppose it's rating the guys defense against top rope moves....which makes sense. More agile/quick guys could probably avoid a top rope move better than a big guy.

More agile/quick guys could probably avoid a top rope move better than a big guy. The system for the deathjump rating used to confuse the hell out of me back in the day and led to many mistakes on bootleg cards. I had always thought it made more sense for it to be the guy going up top. But in the end, it's basically the same, if a wrestler is agile enough on his back (-3 to -5)to get away from a DJ, he's probably a high flying type anyway. I agree, Steiners Deathjump rating would be an F. I love how certain wrestlers never go up top, but when they do they always miss the splash.:-)

Yeah, I realised the Deathjump thing is a bit weird the other day. If Tanck fights Anivar (both at C) a deathjump is actually pretty effective, because big guys can't defend themselves from it. If Tristan fights Reckless (both at A) then deathjumping isn't such a good idea - but of course they'd do it anyway.
A simple house rule, if you feel it's a real problem:
Use table C if the deathjumper has a better rating. Use table B if the ratings are the same. Use table A if the victim has a better rating.

I can't believe no one can see what TNA is doing. Only a complete moron can miss it!
Stein beat Batista, Angle, and Triple H by disqualification. Therefore he has defeated them and is superior. In a dream sequence, he beat Cena, Hogan, Sting, Backlund, Sammartino, and Thesz in a single night. By both WWE and TNA standards, that counts as canon. Why? Because Steiner will say it on national television.
Now if someone refutes it on TNA a week later, then Obviously it's not. Makes perfect sense to anyone with an once of brain and knowledge of Vince or Jarrett's backside.
Sheesh, don't you people watch soap operas? You don't actually think a wrestling company would hire writers who know anything about wrestling, do you?
Get with it, will you?
Take care,
Jay

It's not yours, though. It's your comatose father's who you tried to kill. But I still love you! Abyss: . . . Book it, Vinnie Ru!

He could have really killed his father, and the father could come back as an undead wrestler. Hey, still better than Dreadnaught coming back

Its probably from his last TNA run... when he was Jarrett's "enforcer" and Christian was a face... I THINK that's Christy Hemme off to the side, so it has to be since she signed... I call it about 12-18 months ago.. Hillarious, btw
