Ok, I didn't finish TNA tonight but I did watch the first half and I have to know....Who did the musical chairs segment put over? What was it supposed to accomplish? Anyone? What did that five minutes of TNA television do?
The stupid VKM segment at least attempted to make it look as though TNA was on the same level as the WWE, but the chairs?...It boogles my muthaf*ckin' mind!

As for TNA, yeah I watched it tonight too, although I had a little more faith than Savage T did. The opening bout was good, the Spike Dudley-Homicide match was awesome, and that's about it.
Musical chairs? VKM screaming "Michael Hickenbottom" and "Paul Levesque" while wearing ponchos? Samoa Joe ambushing Angle and brawling with him for about fifteen minutes straight before Angle's main event match?
Lame.

I swung by Spike last night while looking for something to have on as background noise and wandered into the middle of Sinister Minister talking to a very Mankind-looking (and acting) Abyss.
After a couple minutes, I remembered that I had an Amazing Jonathan comedy special on my DVR that I hadn't watched yet.

Yeah, Abyss is freaking lame. How anyone likes him is beyond me.
He's a jobber doing a bad impression of a great WWE gimmick.
Loser.

all I'm saying is that when I watch TNA, I hope I'm going to see something I like. But it never happens. Just not watching it isn't always the solution.

Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is the definition of insanity.
If you've watched this long, and still hate it (and the continual "TNA SUCKS BECAUSE...." threads would seem to point to you hating it more than ever) maybe it's time to stop watching.
I think giving something a chance to improve is important, but come on...you loathe TNA and pretty much every wrestler involved in it. You're not going to like it this week, or next, or next year, or ever.
It's your tv, and your eyes, so I'm sure you'll proceed as you see best, but giving up the viewing of something you don't enjoy is strong.
10 out of 10 Former World Champions agree.

Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is the definition of insanity. That statement is only true for an action containing no variables. Watching a specific TV show is not such an action... especially a show such as a wrestling broadcast. The viewer may not be changing his actions, but the content changes -- or has the potential to -- every time. What Swarm does regarding TNA is better classified as "baseless optimism" -- he wants to see something he will enjoy, despite not receiving many indications that he will find it. But the potential is there.
