What Swarm does regarding TNA is better classified as "baseless optimism" -- he wants to see something he will enjoy, despite not receiving many indications that he will find it. But the potential is there. Thank you. I think offspring is just being snotty. I'm not really worried about it.

I'm not really a TNA fan, and I'd lean towards agreeing that it does indeed suck. So the whole "TNA sucks" thing doesn't bother me. Nor am I being snotty. I honestly don't understand why someone would watch something week after week if they hate it so much. I'd say the same about the Deuce, where everyone seems to watch every WWE program, but then all the talk is about how bad it is and how much they hate it.
I just don't get it, but whatever.
Also, thanks for pointing that out Chris. I may have been off base with the insanity statement (and apparently I was being snotty to boot) but the idea behind it still applies.

Not to say this for the ten billionth time but Swarm points out when WWE does things he doesn't like, too.
TNA just happens to do it every week.

You know what...
I could start a new account...with a different name...and slam the WWE at every turn, all the while saying how much I love TNA and how I think Sting, and Samoa Joe are so great and people would still say the same crap to me...
If you look at almost any TNA thread I've ever started, they all get mad views, and 9 out of 10 times they turn into multiple pages of discussion...
when I was banned, this place was a freaking ghost town...
so while TNA does suck, I enjoy talking about it, and seeing others talk about it...
what do you want me to tell you.

Isn't the running joke with Abyss that he's actually about four inches shorter than what TNA bills him as?
But when you have a bunch of tiny X-Division guys in the promotion, I guess you can't tell the difference anyway.

Yeah, if you were slamming WWE at every turn I probably would say the same things to you.
And I never questioned the fact that Swarm rips on WWE stuff when he doesn't like it...that's one of the things I like about Swarm.
Listen, like I said, your tv, your eyes. If you are honestly getting something out of watching TNA, despite how much you hate it, more power to you. All I said was that I personally don't get it. I didn't expect my opinion to have any real affect on your viewing choices, I was just stating where I was coming from. No biggie.

Oh I'm SO not getting in the middle of that one In fact I think I'm going to take a step back from the real world wrestling talk on both boards...I do tend to get a little snarky, and I don't want to get into a bunch of petty little fights.

when I was banned, this place was a freaking ghost town... This is all I'll comment on, since I'm a lousy TNA fan (in the last like, 4 months, I've seen Kurt Angle's debut, Bound For Glory, and half a show since)...While you were gone, this place was a ghost town because all the "usual suspects", myself included were off having fun in THREAD... It should actually be noted that Swarm and Pittbull getting banned actually expanded the CotG community by 2 Websites and 2 chatrooms (Sonofthread.com and the chat of the same name that led to The Deuce and now Swarm's Hive)...The TNA boards were dead for sure, but a lot went on while you were out...

right...although I hardly can take all the credit for the deuce. Like a bastard child, I'd rather not admit that that creation was all my doing...even though...

Well, to get the Chronology down, THREAD happened...THREAD died (and tried to take the boards with it)...Chris said "No 'Son of THREAD' threads", so BDS made a Son of THREAD website and chatroom...From there, many conversations took place and baically spawned the Deuce and eventually the Hive...
So...in essense, You and Pittbull's absense sparked a curiousity in Turkish, and in an effort to derail the topic before he got banned ( ;D), we posted nonsense...4000+ times...Everything else happened later...Not directly because of THREAD or your banning, but those were the catalysts...
EDIT: Basically THREAD is the grandfather of your Hive...Which by the way, how's that goin'..? I haven't been there...

either way, I know I'm happy. I enjoy debating with you, you're cool, and all the "crabs" or long gone.
So however it happened, I pat myself on the back for it. I'm happy.

Don't like Angle and Joe's upcoming match. Said from the beginning they should build this up longer, and now we're looking at their third PPV match in a row, and it's a Half Hour Ironman match.
Run that over in your head - Half Hour Ironman Match... that's like a half day hunger strike.
If you're going to have a definitive third match, at least make it a Last Man Standing Match where there is at least a possibility that it will have a conclusive ending. As it stands right now, it is turning into the last series of Rey Mysterio vs. Eddy Guererro matches. PPV after PPV to the point of the fans no longer caring about their feuds. Like I anticipated, TNA has taken the hottest match up they had and watered it down.
Still, it's only January - maybe 2007 will be their strongest year ever in spite of bad booking. I hope so, because despite the flaws in the product, I like it a lot and hope it sticks around.
