And Sting? LOL!!! Is this guy going through a mid-life crisis or does he just want to look like a total retard? Just retire already...you suck. Wanna know if you're good at wrestling or not? if Vince wants you, you're probably still good...if TNA is the only company on the planet willing to sign your slow and old broken down a**, you suck. Wow...considering how many times it's been reported that Sting's turned Vince down, that must mean he's still got YEARS left in him.

I had no idea that The Great Khali, Matt Striker, Boogeyman, and Kevin Federline were all better at wrestling than Sting ...

I think we're going to see a better Sting then his performance at BFG, and I still thought his NO SELL was a classic moment in TNA History.
Another moment that stands out for me is when they showed Jake "The Snake" Roberts face when Abyss landed on Runt, that was so funny! Roberts Rules!

I had no idea that The Great Khali, Matt Striker, Boogeyman, and Kevin Federline were all better at wrestling than Sting ... well I haven't seen K-Fed wrestle, but at this point in thier careers all the other guys you named are way better than cutter/beach boy Sting. Sure, he's a legend, no doubt, but he's garbage. Old, fat, slow, can't wrestle, can't talk and he looks totally stupid. He used to be cool though, like 10 years ago.

By what measure of being "good at wrestling" does Khali surpass Sting other than being an enormous, roided-up freak? I've seen some of his so-called-matches, and he can barely move. He can't work the stick. He can't pull off the most rudimentary of wrestling moves. He has to stand there and be big while someone else talks for him and a superior worker bumps to make him look good.

please come up with your own lines. weak. Is this weak as well? I think it's great. Mark has done something very innovative with this. I think there are a lot of cool uses for podcasts for CotG and LoW so I'm hoping this is just a beginning. In the words of a great man...strong.

Anyway...
I've been rewatching the iMPACT! prior to BFG, plus the Road to Glory Special... both had a solid vibe to them and right now I'm rewatching BFG 2006. I still say that the Kevin Nash Guantlet was a great way to start off this show, Austin Starr is just that a STARR! Like I've been saying, it's great to see Jake Roberts in TNA and I'm hoping he'll have a feud with Raven.
LAX and STYLES / DANIELS match was solid, this has to be the best feud in late 2006. Speaking of late 2006...
This is my favorite time of the year for TNA Wrestling, I started watching with the Spike TV debut last year and BFG was my first ever pay-per-view from TNA and it has been a GREAT RIDE!
It should be interesting to see how things will panout from here on out, it should be really excellent!

Great question...see when I think "wrestling" I think of it as a whole, not just a style. While Sting is looking like a mascot for an WNBA team, Khali is very interesting to me. I've enjoyed all of his matches, impressed with his pressence, and believe with some training, he has a real future in the WWE. that's why I think he's way better. Not a lot of 7' 400lbs. ripped guys out there...just imagine if Hassan was stil around...Khali would be so over as a bodyguard it wouldn't even be funny...he's be like the arabic Nash to the arabic HBK... they could call themselves the "CLEEECHH!"

If you've enjoyed his matches, it's because of the guy that's been in the ring with him making him look good. The only thing that he brings to the ring is size. He's El Gigante. It's all personal preference, I guess. If you would prefer someone who's enormous to someone who has such advanced wrestling skills as "walking" and "saying words" down properly, then I guess you'd probably prefer Khali to Sting. To each his own.

Wasn't aware that "walking" and "saying words" were wrestling skills...hell, turns out I'm surrounded by wrestlers...My Dad, for example, just displayed his "wrestling skill" to me by asking me if I wanted a crossandwish then walking away...
it was still 3 times better than anything I've ever seen Sting do in TNA.

Isn't walking to the ring and talking pretty much what constitutes much of the WWE's programming nowadays?
