I literally laughed out loud when I saw the trailor for "See No Evil" twice on iMPACT!
Plus, Christopher Daniels looks like he has Leukemia. The bald head, long ostrich like neck, and skinny arms don't make him very imposing.
I don't see the appeal to this guy. I've seen him like 5 or 6 times, and he's just average at best in my view.

Hmmmm....hate to be the one to break this to ya but...See No Evil has been advertised on Spike for a while now...
Secondly, Christopher Daniels has looked that way fro his entire career...How you just noticed that tonight is kinda wierd...And whether you like how he looks or not, he's a terrific wrestler in any environment...

Christopher Daniels is an AMAZING wrestler and really, really good on the mic. TNA could do a lot worse than putitng him back into his priest's garb and letting him run with the full-fledged Fallen Angle gimmick and then use him as a front line heel.

IMPACT was a great show and I was entertained. I am looking forward to Sacrifice this Sunday as it looks to have a solid card and will make for a great show.

I'm not as taken with Daniels as many people are...
But he is better on the stick than most of TNA's roster, heavyweight or X...and he's usually good in matches so long as he's not in three ways or the like...then he likes to add stupid contrived spots.

yeah but if you consider, EVERYONE does that in three-ways and the like...Even the grounded guys like Samoa Joe or say, The Undertaker...

My point was that it was funny to it advertized during a TNA show that's all. His arms look skinnier than before so I guess that's why it stood out more. Well, he's not a terrific wrestler. He doesn't suck, but terrific is definitely a category he is not in. It's weird how you haven't noticed that.

I haven't been able to figure out why Christopher Daniels is so popular either. Glad I am not alone here. He may be a little better on the mic than the other X guys and might be a slightly better technical wrestler, but thats about it. Doesn't even come close to comparing to AJ Styles. Heck, I think Alex Shelly is much better than Daniels in every respect.
I got a kick out of seeing See No Evil Commercials right before the are coming back to TNA. I hadn't noticed them on Impact before last night.

Daniels isn't the spot monkey that AJ and Shelley are. So I guess if that's what you're looking for, then yeah Daniels doesn't compare. But as for an actual match, there's a reason why he's been involved in so many classics in TNA and ROH. He's a better all-around worker than anyone in the X Division.

I really have no idea how people can knock Christopher Daniels at all. He is a well rounded wrestler and you don't have to like him but you have to respect his ability. Daniels has a great gimmick and he is going to be one of the guys to really change the face of wrestling in the future.

And it doesn't look like TNA has any plans to give him a main event push any time soon. Which is a shame because I think a Daniels/Christian program would be great TV.

I like Daniels, but I wouldn't say he is going to change the face of wrestling in the future. He's solid in the ring, good on the microphone and can play a good heel, which he did when TNA first opened up.
I doubt he will get a chance to do much heel work in TNA as, by TNA standards, he's like Flair or Benoit in the sense that those idiots in the Impact Zone will probably never boo him again.
By the way, I wasn't comparing Daniels to Flair and Benoit, just saying that the 300 people that show up to the monthly tapings will probably treat him as such.

The Impact Zone clowns are so busy showing everyone how "smart" they are that they don't realize they're hurting the show.

yeah but if you consider, EVERYONE does that in three-ways and the like...Even the grounded guys like Samoa Joe or say, The Undertaker... Nah...Daniels does spot where he manhandles two guys larger than him...the glaring example I can think of is holding one guy in a DDT position, then catching the other with one arm for a flatliner. If Joe did it to two X guys, it would at least look remotely viable, not with Daniels. As far as spotmonkeys go, AJ - when he wants to - can put on some hellacious matches. But he's REALLY dumbed his work down since the jump to Spike. Shelley's the only guy in the X division I'm truly interested in watching wrestle right now...but I'm sure that has at least as much to do with the fact that he has a personality.

What, so he's a little guy that shows he's got some power sometimes...Like when he press slammed AJ Styles that ONE time...Remember when Macho Man bodyslammed Hulk Hogan at Wreslemania 5..? THAT was a big deal for the (At the time) wee Savage... Maybe it looks odd or perhaps unconventional, but Daniels isn't really a conventional wrestler...I did like him better as a Heel truth be told, but we'll see how TNA handles it...At the very least, I can sit back and be Happy that WWE will NEVER get Daniels on their show...

I like Daniels and respect his work ethic, his in ring performance, his mic work, and all that he has done through the years. He will not change the face of wrestling. He is easily the oldest guy in the the X-Division. Chris Daniels has been "the indy guy to watch" for years. He has had tryouts for WWE and has wrestled for WCW. Neither did much for his career. At this point he has to be content that he will be remembered as an indy legend. Not too much to be ashamed of there. I agree with Tommy to some extent. Daniels does do some moves that require too much suspension of disbelief but I don't see it as being as bad as you seem to. I just cringe everytime I see the Xers stacking up in formation for a big slam in the corner. One of those spots can ruin a match for me.

To me, I don't see it. He doesn't talk much, and whenever he does, he just does the standard "Get out here and I'll whoop you" speech that 90% of wrestlers do. Just because a guy doesn't suck on the mic, doesn't make him good or even solid. I respect your opinions CPB, but I just see it another way I guess.

He actually used to do a lot more mic work, especially when he was with Triple X, which off the top of my head was the best time to see him in TNA...Triple X was awesome...
Re: Alex Shelley...I honestly don't know what to make of this guy...He's great in the ring, he's entertaining to watch, he's great backstage and on the mic...it just seems that there's somethign missing...Dunno what it is, but as much as I like Shelley( and don't get me wrong, I love watching him), I don't see him as "all that great"...I suppose the same as Tommy sees Daniels...

Daniels' mic work has been cut short since the Triple X thihg in TNA. he's getting far better treatment in ROH.
As for Shelley, when I see him in a match that is longer than a few minuites, then I'll jump on board thie 'great worker' bandwagon. Guys like Daniels, AJ, Joe, even L:ow Ki, Sabin, and Jerry Lynn have all put on 30 and 40 minute matches where they stole the show for TNA and around the world. His body of work can't really compare to the guys at the top of the division at the moment.
