This is definitely a big deal for TNA. They are really building every division. Their tag, X, and World titles all have worthy contenders.

This is the best news for the Dudleys yes I said Dudleys, eat it Vinny Mac! And can only help establish an already strong tag team curcuit within TNA.
I hope TNA sticks it to Vince hard!

Here is some interesting info
The latest word on the “former Dudleyz” is that they have trademarked the following names: Brother Ray Deadly, Brother Devon Deadly, The Deadly Brothers, Team 3D and The Deadly Death Drop. This is not official, and they may not necessarily use these names in TNA.
This really cool!

Wonder if they will be dressed in black and have their faces painted with skull make-up. ;D

I think that they will still be the same Dudleys even with the name change. I highly doubt that their gimmick will change. Not that that is a bad thing though. The Dudleys have been one of the best tag teams in the past 10 years. And they will probably be soon the only team to hold the WWE, ECW, WCW, and NWA tag team titles.

Well. since Batista is the WCW champ, I don't see why they wouldn't. Oh, and congrats to the Dud...I mean Deadlies, kick some ass boys

Hope their gimmick works out for them. But like everyone, they'll still be the "Dudley's".
Maybe this will give them a renewed vigor to bust their a$$ in TNA and give us an alternative to the WWEcrap we've been given.

I actually agree Tommy. There is no way that you can consider the titles the same. But it is hard to say that the Dudleys did not hold the WCW tag titles because they did hold them even if it was in WWE. I don't know. Batistas current title was officially stopped as the WCW title and restarted as the World Title.

Those belts may look like WCW titles but they are NOT official WCW titles. If there is no WCW then they don't count.

Oh, wrestling history gets revised all the time, pikemojo. As far as I, as a die-hard WCW fan, am concerned, the last WCW World champion was Booker T, and the last tag team champions were Sean O'Hare and Chuck Palumbo. Everything else was...well...a really bad WWE angle.

I was also a die hard WCW fan and I think at that point I was still hoping that WWE would start a separate WCW company or something and instead they took a dump on it and threw it in the trash. Of all the things that Vince has done from the Matt Hardy thing to the Bret Hart thing to whatever else, him buying and trashing WCW was by far the worst in my eyes.

cpb you also have a point. But if they were not the WCW tag team titles what do you call them? The WCWWE tag team titles? The Dudleys should at least get the credit for holding some sort of tag title at that time.
