NWA Heartland Card #105 Allen County War Memorial Auditorium, Fort Wayne, Indiana December 31, 2007 COMMISSIONER DAYTONDAVE appears in the ring in a Classic Savile Row Tuxedo. He is accompanied by CHRISTY HEMME in a formal black dress, and both are sipping champagne.Daytondave: HAPPY NEW YEAR! Welcome, fans, to the New Year's Eve edition of Monday Night Adrenaline! We thank you for spending part of your holiday with us. So sit back, enjoy some of the bubbly, and pucker up with the one you love. (Christy gives Daytondave a peck on the cheek.) Just make sure to bring along your designated driver and enjoy the evening safely. We have a terrific card planned for tonight. The one and only, legendary "NATURE BOY", RIC FLAIR, has cancelled his social plans for the evening, and instead will be going to war in the parking lot against the former Horseman, BARRY WINDHAM. This promises to be one brutal matchup! But first off, the last two first-round matches in the Moolah Memorial! (Tonight's Referee: Heather Owens)DIVA DIVISION TOURNAMENTMELINA pinned MICKIE JAMESBoth gals came out at full intensity, and the action was fast-paced and athletic. After the ladies exchanged moves for several minutes, Melina stunned Mickie with a split-legged guillotine legdrop, then pinned her after the Extreme Makeover. VICTORIA pinned TRACI BROOKSIn a hard-hitting, back-and-forth match, Victoria escaped the Brooks And Dunn twice, then surprised Traci with a stunning Moonsault to get the win. Daytondave: Great work, ladies! Once again, the divas work hard and give the fans a great show. The level of competition in the Diva Division rivals that of the men. Or does it? It's time to get the Heartland matches started! JESSE "THE BODY" VENTURA defeated TAKESHI MORISHIMA by disqualificationA wild opening bout! Ventura and Morishima brawled hard and Heather Owens was hard-pressed to keep control! Morishima gradually took the advantage, overpowering Jesse with high-impact shoulder blocks and side slams. Jesse fired back with a swinging neckbreaker to briefly take control, but Morishima roared back and "The Body" found himself in trouble again. This brought the IRISH AIRBORNE to ringside! Dave Crist helped Jesse to the floor while brother Jake taunted Morishima. Before long, DELIRIOUS dashed to the ring! The masked wildman snarled and babbled as he shoved Jake into a running clothesline by Morishima! Jake did a full 360 in midair and crashed hard to the arena floor. Delirious took after Dave, and the two brawled around the ring. Amidst the fracas, Melina took the opportunity to slip behind Morishima and deliver a devastating low blow! Morishima collapsed to his knees, then exploded in a rage! He grabbed Jesse and smashed him into the steel railing, where he began choking and pounding away furiously. Heather Owens put the five-count on Morishima, but his fury could not be contained and Heather was forced to call for the DQ. After the decision, Morishima and Delirious continued to brawl with Melina's crew. The Airborne were beaten back, and with Jesse incapacitated, the Crist Brothers retreated to the locker room. At the top of the ramp, Morishima grabbed the arm of Delirious and raised it in the air, then embraced him as they left together. With the assistance of Melina, Jesse made it back to his feet and returned to the locker room under his own power.Daytondave: It looks like Morishima has finally found himself a trustworthy ally. Of course, that's assuming that the big guy can understand a word that goofball says! However this plays out, once again we have a case of Morishima letting his temper get the best of him, and his personal issues take precedence over getting the job done in the ring! NIGEL McGUINESS pinned ROCKY JOHNSONRocky put forth an outstanding effort in his return match from injury. McGuiness outwrestled his opponent for much of the early contest, resulting in several near-falls. But Rocky held his own, and soon made it back to his feet and delivered his characteristic razzle-dazzle offense. Nigel was lucky to escape from a sunset flip, then caught Rocky in a stunning DDT. With Johnson already weakened, Nigel set him up for the Tower of London and won in a clean finish. Daytondave: This was certainly an important match for both men. Rocky is just getting back to the ring after his injury, and Nigel is bouncing back from losing the Midwest title to BATISTA. Score this one for Nigel on the road back to heavyweight gold. THE ROCK pinned BOBO BRAZILWith an opening on the card, the two running buddies decided a New Year's Eve brawl would be a good way to ring in 2008. And sure enough, Rock and Bobo delivered, battling all over the auditorium. Both men laid down the heavy lumber on each other and spent most of the match on the ring floor. After a while, Heather Owens decided to just let the guys brawl, and before long she was laughing along with them as the pounded each other from pillar to post. Bobo thought he had the Rock beaten after a pair of Coco Butts, but the Rock kicked out and rolled back out of the ring. Bobo tried to pull him back in, but Rock blasted him in the face, knocking him to the canvas. Rock slid back into the ring to the cheers of the fans, and delivered a People's Elbow to Bobo to get the fall. After the decision, Rock helped Bobo to his feet, and Bobo sucker punched him. Laughing, Rock got to his feet, drew back his fist, then hugged Bobo and the two tag partners left the ring together.Daytondave: Do those two even care who wins? What the heck, they put on a great match, the fans are on fire, and all's well that end's well! Give the win to The Rock tonight. THE NEW AGE OUTLAWS defeated AUSTIN ARIES & TIGER MASKIn another wild battle, the Outlaws prevailed in the midst of controversy. BG James wrestled the match of his life, starting off against Tiger Mask and completely dominating the action. BG came out physical, overpowering his cruiserweight opponent and beating him down. Tiger managed to tag out to Aries, who shifted the momentum to his own side. Kip entered the match, only to take a pounding from Aries. Kip was nearly finished when BG came to his aid and hurled Aries to the floor. Soon, all four men were brawling on the floor! Kip went after Tiger Mask and dropped him throat-first onto the security railing. As Tiger writhed on the floor, MIL MASCARAS rushed out from the locker room to check on his fallen friend. Kip grabbed Mascaras, and slammed him head to head with Aries with a devastating double-noggin-knocker! Kip smartly hurled Aries back into the ring, where BG executed a pumphandle slam and pinned Aries. After the defeat, Aries angrily confronted Mascaras. Tiger Mask attempted to come between the two as they bickered, but the hot-tempered Aries reached around Tiger with his left hand and sucker-punched Mascaras! Mil went down hard, and came up swinging! Tiger Mask managed to restrain Mascaras and force him back to the locker room as Aries screamed and pointed.Daytondave: What a fiasco! I have no idea what Mascaras is doing out there. The Heartland Tag Titles are up for grabs, and Aries and Tiger Mask have the inside track to the belts. Mascaras just needs to keep his nose out of the tag team division until he is ready to give it his full attention. It's no wonder that Aries took exception to Mascaras getting involved. While these guys try to resolve their issues, let's head to our main event! MAIN EVENT: PARKING LOT BRAWLRIC FLAIR defeated BARRY WINDHAM by submissionIn a violent brawl, Flair and Windham bloodied each other all over Fort Wayne. The match started in the ring, with both men trading punches and chops, until a powerful clothesline from Windham sent both men tumbling out of the ring. The men brawled up the ramp and out to the parking lot! Windham drew first blood, picking up a brick from the ground and smashing Flair across the face, bloodying his nose. Windham then attempted to whip Flair onto a parked car, but Flair reversed the move and sent Windham crashing onto the hood! Flair then smashed Barry face-first onto the car, busting him open. Flair immediately took advantage, catching the staggered Windham in a facelock and dropping him to the concrete with a massive DDT. With Windham nearly out, Flair went to his trademark figure-4 leglock. Windham lay motionless as Heather Owens dropped his arm three times and called for the bell. Daytondave: Brutal! Windham really should have thought twice about challenging Flair to this type of a match. Flair is the dirtiest player in the game, and even the blood from his own face could not stop the Nature Boy from putting windham down for the count. This issue between the Horseman and Dusty Rhodes' faction just keeps heating up! I have no doubt that before long, we'll see the Dream and the Nature Boy at it again! Fans, before we leave from Fort Wayne, MIL MASCARAS has asked for time to discuss his actions. He is backstage now with CHRISTY HEMME, so let's hear what our amigo has on his mind. Mascaras: Senorita Christy, muchos gracias for allowing me to speak. It is unfortunate that my friend Tiger Mask did not win his match tonight, and tragic that he was nearly injured. I could not permit such a fate from befalling my amigo. I wish to apologize to Austin Aries for the trouble. AUSTIN ARIES arrives on the scene and Christy holds out the microphone to him. Aries: Yeah? Well listen here, ah-me-go, Tiger Mask and me have a title to win. This is a tough business, and the road to the belts is gonna have some bumps and bruises along the way. So leave your weeping and your whining in the locker room and keep your ugly mug out of our matches! Mascaras: Amigo, calm down! Wrestling is a sport for gentlemen. Your attitude is far too angry. It will lose you matches and cause you much pain to wrestle with such hostility. Aries: I don't think so, grampa. It takes guts to be a champion in the Heartland. And I am here to prove that Austin Aries has what it takes. If your little friend Tiger Mask is too soft to go after the belts, maybe you ought to take him back to the mask factory and you both can go work in the sweatshops. Mascaras appears quite offended at this statement. TIGER MASK enters the scene and steps between Aries and Mascaras.Tiger Mask: My brothers, enough of this bickering! I am ready to go to the limits to win the tag titles. Austin, my friend, you can count on me to defeat the Irish Airborne and we will rise to the top. We are a great team! KIP and BG JAMES enter the scene. Kip grabs the microphone from Christy and sticks his finger in the chest of Tiger Mask.Kip: Now listen here, punk. The NEW AGE OUTLAWS kicked your tails out there tonight. What makes you think you are still in line for a title match? Now that the CALGARY FLYERS won the World Titles and vacated the belts, I think the Heartland Championship is up for grabs, and me and BG have put you aside as contenders! Tiger Mask composes himself and prepares to speak, but Aries steps in and gets into the face of Kip James.Aries: You Outlaws are not nearly as bad as you like to think! Tiger and me already held the belts, and you guys haven't done diddly-squat. You're a couple of arrogant jerks. You're not contenders. Those belts will be right back here with us, so get out of our face and go back to the end of the line where you belong! THE ROAD WARRIORS and PAUL ELLERING enter the scene. HAWK grabs the microphone from Kip.Hawk: Belts? You wanna talk about belts? The Road Warriors have had more belts than any of you guys, and now that we're stuck here in this backwater podunk federation, those stinkin' belts will be OURS! We ain't gonna cry over some little bump on the head like Mil Mascaras! We ain't gonna whine about who deserves what! We snack on danger, and we dine on little punks like you! Aries takes exception to the comments of Hawk gives him a shove. Hawk draws back his fist, but Tiger Mask grabs his arm and prevents him from swinging. Animal smashes Tiger Mask across the back with a forearm and drops him to his knees! Mascaras comes to the defense of Tiger Mask, but Kip nails him with a clothesline. Christy shrieks, as all seven men begin brawling! Before long, ARN ANDERSON and TULLY BLANCHARD jump into the fray, followed by DAVE and JAKE CRIST! The Horsemen and the Airborne appear to be working together, battling the Warriors and the Outlaws. Aries finally gets his hands on Mascaras, but Tiger Mask jumps on Aries and takes him to the floor. As Aries and Tiger Mask roll on the floor exchanging punches, RODERICK STRONG appears from nowhere, brandishing a baseball bat, and slugs Mascaras across the back! Mascaras goes down, and when Tiger Mask comes to his aid, Strong levels him with the bat as well. As the remaining teams continue to brawl, Aries and Strong exchange high-fives as they stand over the fallen bodies of Mascaras and Tiger Mask.Daytondave: Holy crap! Roderick Strong is back, and boy, did he EVER get one over on Mascaras and Tiger Mask! I am flabbergasted. Word from the back is that Aries and Strong just pitched Tiger Mask and Mascaras out the back door of the auditorium. What a chaotic night! The Heartland Tag Titles are totally in limbo now- and it's gonna take another meeting of the Championship Committee to determine what happens now. This much I do know- we'll be back on Friday night with the next episode of Fury. Our main event will crown a new Heartland Heavyweight Champion as RIC FLAIR will take on TERRY GORDY for the title. We'll also have the 2007 Heartland Awards presentation. Beyond that, who knows? The action in the Heartland never ends. Until Friday night, fans, that's our show and I AM OUTTA HERE!

NWA Heartland Card #106 Assembly Hall, Champaign, Illinois January 4, 2008 COMMISSIONER DAYTONDAVE appears in the ring with CHRISTY HEMME. He is immaculately dressed in an Espresso Cross Wale Corduroy blazer and holding an envelope. The music, "Paradise City" by Guns 'N Roses blares as Daytondave watches Christy shimmy and gyrate around the ring.Daytondave: Hey, fans, welcome to 2008! Enjoy the new theme music of Friday Night Fury as we come to you live from Champaign, Illinois! We're here at the campus of the University of Illinois with our first broadcast of the new year. The Fightin' Illini may have gotten their tails kicked in the Rose Bowl, but that has only increased the intensity level of our fans and their appetite for destruction! We have some major announcements tonight and some HOT Heartland action! Later tonight, we'll be announcing the selections of the 2007 Heartland Wrestler of the Year, Manager of the Year, Tag Team of the Year, Match of the Year, and Feud of the Year! We would also be remiss, on this occasion, if we did not remember the passing in 2007 of a dear friend of Heartland Wrestling. One of the finest gentleman, one of baseball's greatest ambassadors, and a passionate wrestling fan in his own right, tonight we honor the passing of legendary Cincinnati Reds pitcher and broadcaster JOE NUXHALL.The crowd falls silent as the ring bell tolls 10 times. Daytondave: Christy, tell us about tonight's main event! Christy: You got it, Boss! The time has finally come for the Heartland to crown a new Heavyweight Champion! The belt has been vacant since STING won the World Championship. After a series of contenders' matches, we have come down to the final two men, who will square off tonight with the title on the line! The one and only NATURE BOY, RIC FLAIR, will take on TERRY "BAM BAM" GORDY to decide the new champion in a no-disqualification match! Daytondave: Awesome! And now for the othe big announcement of the evening. As a result of the fracas which took place in Fort Wayne last Monday night, the Heartland Tag Team Titles are totally in limbo. The contending team of AUSTIN ARIES and TIGER MASK was slotted for a championship match, but that all changed on New Year's Eve. Christy, show us the video! A video package appears, showing DAYTONDAVE on his hands and knees, wearing only a Speedo and a cowboy hat, with CHRISTY HEMME dressed in lingerie, straddling his back, squealing and twirling a lasso.Daytondave: STOP THE TAPE! STOP THE TAPE! Not THAT New Year's Eve video! As Daytondave struggles to collect himself, Christy blushes and giggles nervously.Daytondave: Take my word for it, fans, the brawl in Fort Wayne was epic! Practically every tag team in the Heartland was slugging it out backstage, when out of nowhere, RODERICK STRONG showed up and beat the daylights out of MIL MASCARAS and TIGER MASK with a ball bat! Needless to say, the team of Aries and Tiger Mask is no more, and I would be surprised if either Tiger Mask or Mascaras was ever seen around these parts again! As a result of that situation, the Heartland Championship Committee has selected 10 of the top tag teams in the territory to enter a championship tournament to select the new title holders! We'll see the first four matches of that tournament right here, tonight! We go to the tag team tournament at the conclusion of tonight's first match, a quarterfinal contest in the Moolah Memorial ladies' tournament. Let's head to the ring! (Tonight's Referee: Joe Kopasz)DIVA DIVISION TOURNAMENTMsCHIF pinned GAIL KIMThis wild brawl rivaled the chaos of many of the men's matches! The crazy MsChif came with her usual twisted rage, slamming Gail's head to the turnbuckle and immediately spraying her with green mist in the opening moments! Referee Joe Kopasz allowed the action to continue, and Gail fought her way right back into the match! Gail came off the ropes with a piledriver, stunning MsChif and setting her up for a top rope hurracanrana and a near fall. MsChif escaped the ring, with Gail in hot pursuit, and again blasted her with a faceful of green mist! Despite her furious attempts to come back, Gail was never the same at that point and soon found herself the victim of the Desecrater and a pin. Daytondave: What a twisted woman that is! Gail Kim is one of the top competitors in ladies' wrestling today, but MsChif was just too unpredictable for her tonight. With that win, MsChif moves on to a semifinal match-up against SARA DEL RAY, which should be an awesome bout! Now, let's see the opening match of the Heartland Tag Team Championship Tournament. HEARTLAND TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT: OPENING ROUNDTHE NEW AGE OUTLAWS defeated THE BRISCOE BROTHERS (w/ SARA DEL RAY) by countoutIn a long and competitive struggle, the Outlaws managed to wear down the Briscoe Brothers and earn a tightly contested victory! The Outlaws went toe-to-toe with the Briscoes, surviving a number of double-team manuevers and overcoming interference by Sara. Action spilled out of the ring repeatedly, and the match nearly ended when Sara clobbered BG with a powerful Yakuza kick! But BG managed to collect himself and tag in Kip. Jay drilled Kip with a springboard clothesline, but the match turned when Kip dodged a charging Jay, sending him crashing into the turnbuckle. The Outlaws quickly set Jay up for a double-team spike piledriver! Jay managed to roll out of the ring, but Kip followed and slammed him down hard with a powerbomb on the ring floor. Despite the assistance of Mark and Sara, Jay was unable to recover in time to beat the ten-count. After the ten-count frustration spilled over on the Briscoes. Mark went after Kip with a flurry of punches, but BG jumped to Kip's defense. Sara did not hesitate to get involved, grabbing BG by the hair and tossing him against the steel railing! BG got up steaming, and lunged after Sara, but Jay Briscoe intercepted him with a spear on the floor. As Sara started to put the boots to BG, CHEERLEADER MELISSA came out of the crowd and levelled Sara with a forearm! In the midst of this six-way brawl, RENE GOULET and his Elite Security Forces were called into action, and immediately dispatched the brawl and ushered all the combatants back to the locker room.Daytondave: Cheerleader Melissa? Where did she come from? Her rivalry with Sara Del Ray is long and storied. In fact, consider it booked! There will be a six-person, intergender tag team match pitting the Briscoes and Sara against the Outlaws and Melissa! This is the Heartland, and this Commissioner believes that issues ought to be settled in the ring. Now, back to the tag team tournament! THE ROAD WARRIORS (w/ PAUL ELLERING) defeated THE FANTASTICS (TOMMY ROGERS & BOBBY FULTON w/ DAFFNEY)The Fantastics went all out against the powerful Warriors, starting quickly with high-flying double-team moves. A double second-turnbuckle dropkick sent Hawk reeling, but Hawk tagged in and managed to slow the pace of the match and take control. The Warriors overpowered and wore down the Fantastics, frequently resorting to brawling outside of the ring. Action became so intense that referee Joe Kopasz was caught up in a collision at the turnbuckle, and knocked to the floor. The only backup referee, HEATHER OWENS, rushed to the ring, but clearly was in over her head as the brawling between the Fantastics, the Warriors, Ellering, and Daffney continued. Always the daredevil, Rogers attempted a suicide dive onto Hawk, but Hawk pitched a chair at the falling Rogers and caught him cleanly in midair. Animal immediately went to the top rope, where the Warriors executed the legendary Doomsday Device. Heather made it back to the ring to execute the three-count despite the shrieks and hysterics from Daffney. At the completion of the match, Heather was able to help Joe Kopasz to his feet. Kopasz returned to the ring and resumed his duties despite wincing and holding his left rib cage.Daytondave: Awesome destruction! Whether it is the Heartland Tag Team Titles, or a rematch against the CALGARY FLYERS for the World Championship, there are no belts safe from the power of the Road Warriors. You can bet they are hungry to devour whatever the Heartland will place in their path. And just as certainly, you know that Joe Kopasz will be ready to call 'em as he sees 'em. The Heartland Senior Official is a true professional and he won't let one little tumble keep him from getting the job done. Now, let's head to the next match, our first quarterfinal matchup in the tag tournament! AUSTIN ARIES & RODERICK STRONG defeated THE IRISH AIRBORNE (DAVE & JAKE CRIST w/ MELINA)Aries and Strong came out determined to prove themselves against the athletic young Airborne. Aries started quickly against Dave and weakened him with a brainbuster. Jake tagged in and dueled with Aries in a lengthy exchange of quick and technical manuevers which brought the crowd to its feet! Strong tagged in, and soon found himself on the receiving end of the Irish Air Raid, and was extremely fortunate that Aries made the save. Aries entered the match and took over on Dave with the Heat Seeking Missile, but Dave managed to tag out to Jake. Jake climbed into the ring quickly, but walked right into a perfectly timed corkscrew plancha by Aries for a quick pinfall! Daytondave: What a performance by Aries! He nailed Jake with that plancha out of nowhere! A stunning victory for Aries and Strong in their return to the Heartland as a team. You gotta hand it to Aries- he talked the talk, and tonight he brought his "A" game and executed beautifully! Yet another outstanding tag team match brought to you from NWA Heartland wrestling- and the competition for these titles has only just gotten started! Let's head back to the ring for the final tag team match of the night. AMERICA'S TEAM (A.J. STYLES & TONY ATLAS) defeated NIGEL McGUINESS & WILLIAM REGALA stunning end to an exciting night of tag action! The match started slowly, as Atlas exerted his power against both opponents, finally manuevering Nigel toward his own corner and tagging in Styles. AJ took advantage of the perfect set-up, levelling Nigel with a springboard forearm strike, then picking him up for the Air Raid Crash for a surprise three-count! Daytondave: A great move! This AJ Styles can win a match from any position- and taking down Nigel McGuiness is no small feat! We have seen a great series of tag matches tonight, but I can only imagine that the best is yet to come- both for this tournament and for tonight's card as well. But before tonight's title match, it is my privilege to announce the first annual NWA Heartland Year-end Awards! MANAGER OF THE YEAR: WOMAN
FEUD OF THE YEAR: SOLDIERS OF THE COVENANT (STING, SHAWN MICHAELS, NIKITA KOLOFF, & THE STEINER BROTHERS) VS. LAX
MATCH OF THE YEAR: CALGARY FLYERS VS. ROAD WARRIORS, DECEMBER 28, 2007
TAG TEAM OF THE YEAR: THE CALGARY FLYERS (OWEN HART & BRIAN PILLMAN)
WRESTLER OF THE YEAR: DELIRIOUSCongratulations to all your winners! It is now time for our Main Event with the Heartland Heavyweight Title up for grabs! MAIN EVENT: HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP"NATURE BOY" RIC FLAIR defeated TERRY "BAM BAM" GORDY by submission to capture the Heartland Heavyweight Title! The first card of the new year brought one of the finest matches the Heartland has ever seen! Gordy took the advantage early, overpowering Flair and pummeling him. Flair absorbed an incredible beatdown, but finally collapsed after Gordy nailed the Asiatic Spike! Always the picture of cardiovascular fitness, Flair managed to kick out of the pin attempt and roll to the outside of the ring. Gordy followed, and the battle waged on. Despite absorbing five fatigue tokens, Flair continued to battle. Smartly, he went to work on the legs of Gordy, punishing his left knee with a chop block and several shin breakers. Gordy fought through the pain and escaped with a belly-to-back suplex, sending the Nature Boy crashing to the canvas! Again, Flair smartly rolled to the outside, this time collapsing face-first to the floor. Gordy struggled to drag his weakened leg to the outside of the ring, where Flair greeted him with a vicious eye gouge! As Gordy staggered, Flair shoved him against the ring steps, where he crashed knee first against the steel! Seeing his opportunity, Flair pounced, hoisting Gordy into the ring. Grabbing the injured knee, he pulled gordy into the center of the ring and wrapped him into the Figure-4! Gordy screamed and struggled, grabbing Joe Kopasz by the shirt and desperately fighting the pain. Sensing the kill, Flair torqued back on the leg, intensifying the pain and finally forcing Gordy to tap out! After the decision, the crowd offered both wrestlers a standing ovation. The music from 2001: A Space Odyssey filled the arena as the Heartland Championship Committee entered the ring. COURTENEY COX presented the Nature Boy with the Heartland Heavyweight Championship belt, and the exhausted Flair helf the belt high overhead. MIKE GOLIC helped Gordy to his feet, and Gordy embraced Flair before limping out of the ring. Wrestlers from the locker room streamed out to the ring to offer their congratulations, including THE HORSEMEN, THE IRISH AIRBORNE, NIGEL McGUINESS, and even THE ROCK and BOBO BRAZIL. Streamers flew from the ceiling as confetti dropped in celebration of the new champion!Daytondave: What a momentous night in Champaign, Illinois! In a tremendous battle, Ric Flair has captured the Heartland Heavyweight Championship! It is a great night for the "Nature Boy", and a hallmark evening for the Heartland! Top to bottom, this has been a terrific night of action, as only Daytondave can bring to the NWA. Where do we go from here? Back to Rockford, Illinois, one of the favorite little towns of Heartland Wrestling, where we will be presenting Adrenaline on Monday night! We'll see the semifinals of the Tag Team Tournament, and a special main event matchup pitting THE ROCK against DUSTY RHODES in a battle you won't want to miss. Until then, fans, that's our show and I AM OUTTA HERE!

NWA Heartland Card #107 Metro Center, Rockford, Illinois January 7, 2008 COMMISSIONER DAYTONDAVE appears in the ring wearing black slacks, a white short-sleeve dress shirt with a red tie and a gray sweater-vest. CHRISTY HEMME stands beside him in a Ohio State Buckeyes cheerleading outfit.Christy: Hey, boss! How do you like my pom-poms? Daytondave: GO BUCKS! Hey fans, welcome to Monday Night Adrenaline, brought to you by NWA Heartland Wrestling! The BCS Championship is in New Orleans, but we are here in the best little town in the Heartland, Rockford, Illinois, with a great night of action! We have a great card planned, capped off by two quarterfinal matches in our Tag Team Championship tournament. The main event will feature the newly signed ROAD WARRIORS against THE HORSEMEN in what promises to be the beginning of a terrific rivalry. Let's head to the ring for the opening contest! (Tonight's referee: Danny Davis)DIVA DIVISION TOURNAMENTMsCHIF pinned GAIL KIMThe bizarre one put Gail on the defense from the beginning with two blasts of the green mist. Gail was stunned, but fought back gamely, getting the best of MsChif with aerial manuevers. The power of MsChif wore Gail down as she countered with a pair of thundering Spinebusters. Gail tried to rally again, but charged headlong into a back elbow at the turnbuckle. Gail was staggered, and MsChif quickly exploded out of the corner with a vicious witch slap. Gail went down like a rag doll and MsChif easily covered her for a three-count. Daytondave: Once again, the ladies put on a wonderful show. Bravo! MsChif moves on to a semifinal showdown against SARA DEL RAY as the Moolah Memorial continues! ROCKY JOHNSON defeated ADAM PEARCE by countoutThe dynamic Rocky outclassed the Scrap Daddy, nailing him repeatedly with jabs and haymakers, mixed in with dropkicks. Pearce mounted little in the way of offense, and was clearly rattled when Rocky clobbered him with a powerful dropkick, sending Pearce tumbling out of the ring. Stunned, the Daddy staggered to his feet, but was unable to gain his bearings quickly enough to beat the ten-count. Daytondave: What a crock! This character Pearce may be big news on the Independent Ciruit, but he is winless in the Heartland and likely to not have his contract renewed. A big ego will only get you so far in this business. A.J. STYLES pinned JAKE CRIST (w/ MELINA)A. J. was at the top of his game! He got the jump on the agile challenger, being stalled only briefly when DAVE CRIST and JESSE VENTURA interfered. Styles shook off a near-fall after the double-team, then clobbered an unsuspecting Jake with a springboard forearm strike and rolled him up for a quick pinfall! Daytondave: I don't know about Melina and the Crist brothers. They had a lot of momentum when she first took the helm, but now they are floundering again and Melina's attentions are divided between the Airborne, JESSE VENTURA, and BATISTA, not to mention her own wrestling and her involvement with THE HORSEMEN. How much can a gal handle? TAKESHI MORISHIMA & DELIRIOUS defeated THE NEW AGE OUTLAWSMorishima dominates! The Outlaws tried their best to take the giant off his feet, but Takeshi survived a double-team hot shot and a spike piledriver, nearly pinning BG after a pair of suplexes. Kip tagged in and promptly pitched Morishima to the floor, but Morishima smashed him face-first to the steel ring steps. Kip was stunned as Morishima rolled him back into the ring, and helpless as Takeshi delievered a perfectly executed Saito suplex. Danny Davis delivered the three-count as Delirious speared BG, thwarting his attempt to make the save. Daytondave: Morishima captures the win! He seems to have found himself in tag team action with Delirious. We'll see how they fare in the semifinals against AMERICA'S TEAM of A. J. STYLES and TONY ATLAS. All four of those guys are in peak form and that is one tag team encounter that I am looking forward to! JESSE "THE BODY" VENTURA (w/ MELINA) pinned NIGEL McGUINESSMelina truly earned her keep in this battle, turning the momentum for her man twice in this prolonged struggle. Nigel had Ventura tied up in knots for most of the contest, but Jesse continued to find ways to power out of Nigel's pinning manuevers. Ventura took the action out of the ring several times, but Nigel held his own in the brawls until Melina took him down with a blatant low blow! Nigel collapsed, and Ventura took over, wearing out his foe with bearhugs and stunning him with a piledriver. With McGuiness in a haze, Jesse slammed him down in the Body Breaker and took the pinfall. Daytondave: I stand corrected about Melina! Ventura has been the odd man out in this whole scenario, but tonight he picked up a major upset over a former Midwest Heavyweight Champion and Melina engineered the victory. Perhaps I have underestimated the determination and the abilities of this young lady. Time will tell... THE ROCK pinned DUSTY RHODESIn a wild and competitive bout, the Rock and Dusty took the fight all over Rockford! Both men laid down the heavy lumber early and often. Rock took the early advantage, pummeling the Dream on the outside and laying him out with a DDT to set up the People's Elbow. But Big Dust kicked out and the brawl continued. Dusty rallied, dropping the Rock with his bionic elbow as the Rockford crowd went wild! Rock rolled out of the ring and the fisticuffs continued. Rock stunned Dusty with a series of jabs, then slid back into the ring. Dusty followed, but Rock beat him back into the ring and nailed him with a spinebuster slam out of nowhere to pick up the three-count! Daytondave: Two of the true legends of the sport, and they just proved why they belong in the upper echelon of the annals of wrestling. Crap, suddenly I sound like friggin' GORDON SOLIE! Dusty and the Rock done brought the hiz-ouse down tonight! Now, let's go to the main event, the match I have been waiting for all night! THE ROAD WARRIORS (w/ PAUL ELLERING) defeated THE HORSEMEN (ARN ANDERSON & TULLY BLANCHARD w/ TRACI BROOKS)The Warriors and the Horsemen engaged in a very long and intense battle. Hawk started the match quickly for his team, but the Horsemen made frequent tags to stay fresh. Hawk fatigued and tagged in Animal, but Tully went to work with a clothesline, and slipped in a foreign object to open a gash on Animal's forehead. Undaunted, Animal fought back and took the measure of Blanchard, exploding off the ropes with a flying shoulder ram! Both men struggled, and both tagged their partners, and it was Anderson who took the offensive on Hawk with a hammerlock body slam. Double A went for the submission with a standing arm bar, but this only seemed to infuriate Hawk, who powered out of the hold and hoisted Anderson into a press slam! Quickly, the Warriors took advantage, setting up the Doomsday Device on the fallen Enforcer to capture the victory. Daytondave: Very impressive! The Horsemen put up one helluva fight, but in the end it was the power and the teamwork of the legendary Road Warriors which prevailed. That match more than exceeded expectations. How will they fare in the semifinals against AUSTIN ARIES and RODERICK STRONG? We may never know! The Warriors are scheduled in the main event on Friday Night at Fury in an NWA World Tag Team Championship rematch against the CALGARY FLYERS. The 2007 Heartland Match of the Year will be contested again on Friday Night in Carbondale. You won't want to miss it! Until then, fans, that's our show and I AM OUTTA HERE!'

NWA Heartland Card #108 SIU Arena, Carbondale, Illinois January 11, 2008 The show opens with "Paradise City" blasting on the Carbondale sound system. COMMISSIONER DAYTONDAVE stands in the ring, decked out in a Brunello Cucinelli cashmere sweater and cotton blazer as CHRISTY HEMME dances, strutting her stuff around the ring while blowing kisses to the crowd. Daytondave: Hey, fans, welcome to Friday Night Fury! NWA Heartland comin' back at ya from the campus of Southern Illinois University with an outstanding evening of professional wrestling action! Our main event tonight will be for the NWA World Tag Team Championship! The champions, THE CALGARY FLYERS, from right here in our very own Heartland, will defend their titles in a rematch against the former champions, THE ROAD WARRIORS! The Flyers' championship victory was the Match of the Year in 2007, and tonight they will hook it up again! Our featured singles match will also be a hot match as TULLY BLANCHARD squares off against his former stablemate BARRY WINDHAM. Can Windham continue to survive the anger of the Horsemen? Tonight will be another chapter in the continuing saga. Now, let's head to the ring! (Tonight's referee: Brady Boone)DIVA DIVISION TOURNAMENTRAIN defeated AMAZING KONG by countoutIn a stunning upset, Rain came down and took the fight right to Kong, avenging the loss by her partner Lacey. After opening with a stunning hurracanrana, Rain connected with a pair of running bulldogs. Stunned, Kong left the ring, but Rain stunned her with a spectacular dive from the apron to the arena floor! Kong was slow to get to her feet, and was unable to beat the 10-count back to the ring. Enraged, Kong came back to the ring and attacked Rain from behind, but LACEY dashed to the ring and saved her partner. Together, the Homewrecking Crew delivered a double clothesline to Kong and sent her tumbling back out of the ring. Daytondave: What a sensational match! I'm telling you, fans, the action in the Diva Division rivals what you will see from the men, whether it be here in the Heartland or any place in the NWA. Rain is your surprise winner tonight and moves to the semifinals of the Moolah Memorial! With Amazing Kong eliminated, the tournament is wide open now. Our last quarterfinal match will be held Monday night, when VICTORIA faces MELINA. I know I will be watching that match very intently. Now, let's get to tonight's men's action. Our first contest pits a couple of Heartland newcomers against one another as RANDY ORTON takes on DICK MURDOCH.RANDY ORTON pinned Richard MURDOCHMurdoch appeared overmatched against the aggressive young Orton. The big Texan absorbed a lot of punishment, and briefly took advantage after catching Orton and slamming him off the top turnbuckle. But before long, Orton regained control, smashing Murdoch across the head as he reached out of the ring. With Murdoch staggering, Orton dropped him with an RKO to cap off a decisive victory. Daytondave: Very impressive opening victory for Randy Orton! It will be exciting to watch this young kid attempt to climb the ladder here in the Heartland. He is athletic, and he has a mean streak, but we can only hope his unpredictable nature doesn't get the best of him and derail his aspirations. SHAWN MICHAELS pinned BOBO BRAZILAfter absorbing an open series of power moves, the resilient Michaels nipped up from a Bobo dropkick and unleashed an arsenal of flying manuevers which left the Carbondale crowd gasping! After a moonsault bodypress levelled Brazil, Michaels rebounded off the ropes with a flying forearm, executed perfectly, to plant Bobo onto the mat for the three count! Daytondave: What a show of agility by Shawn Michaels! They don't call this kid the Show Stopper for nothing- and Bobo Brazil will attest to that. A fine victory for Michaels, and the crowd is now buzzing as the Heartland action heats up. AUSTIN ARIES pinned BOBBY FULTONAries turned the tables quickly in a competitive match, exploding off the ropes to plaster Fulton with a flying bodypress. As Fulton lay stunned, Aries went up top and delivered a scintillating 450 splash to finish the match in the blink of an eye! Daytondave: Wow! Aries just came out of nowhere to pull off that victory! This guy excels both in singles and tag team action alike. We'll be seeing him again Monday in the semifinals of the tag team tournament. Of course, that could also be the last time we EVER see Aries in the ring, if the ROAD WARRIORS have their way. As for Bobby Fulton, well, let's just say it's a rough week to be from Columbus. Christy: It's a rough week to be from Columbus. (Rim shot.)TAKESHI MORISHIMA & DELIRIOUS defeated AMERICA'S TEAM (TONY ATLAS & A. J. STYLES)The Japanese giant was the dominant force in this match once again, overpowering both opponents. After stunning Atlas with a running kick to the face, Morishima executed a beautiful Saito Suplex and pinned him to give his team the win and a trip to the tournament finals! Daytondave: Never have I seen Morishima look so focused and so determined. I would love to see what happens when you put this guy in the ring with the ROAD WARRIORS. Takeshi's team has done its part, advancing to the finals at Havoc, and on Monday we'll see if the Roadies will be on the opposite side. BARRY WINDHAM pinned TULLY BLANCHARD (w/ TRACI BROOKS)In another confrontation pitting Windham against a member of the Horsemen, Barry outfoxed Tully Blanchard and captured a victory! Both men dished out their best punishment in the early going as Windham nailed a Death Valley Driver and Tully later stunned Barry with a piledriver. Action went outside the ring repeatedly, with Windham getting the best of most of the exchanges. As Blanchard became more frustrated, Traci Brooks attempted to rake the eyes of Windham, but Brady Boone prevented her from completing the tactic. As Traci and Boone argued, Windham caught Blanchard from behind and hoisted him up for the Sweetwater Superplex. Blanchard crashed hard to the canvas and was unable to kick out from the pinfall. Following the decision, a furious Blanchard attacked Windham from behind! Barry responded aggressively and a violent brawl erupted between the two rivals. ARN ANDERSON quickly hit the ring, knocking Windham to the floor with a forearm, then the Horsemen ripped a boot off of Windham and began to beat him with it. In an instant, DICK MURDOCH dashed down the ramp, intercepting the boot and chasing the Horsemen back to the locker room. Windham and Murdoch climbed into the ring together and were joined by DUSTY RHODES and WAHOO McDANIEL. Dusty called for the microphone and addressed the hysterical Carbondale crowd.Rhodes: Tully Blanchard! Four Horsemen! We have had enough of this nonsense out of you! Here in this ring, in Carbondale, Illinois, in front of all these thousands of fans, me and my pals are callin' you out. I got me three of the biggest, toughest Texans you will ever see, watching my back! We are the TEXAS MAVERICKS and we are callin' you out! Any time, any where, any place, if you dirty yellow dogs are actin' up, the Mavericks will be on you like white on rice... IF YOU WEEEEEELLLL!!! The music "Gear Jammer" by George Thorogood blasts on the sound system as Dusty, Windham, Murdoch and Wahoo leave the ring together.Daytondave: A show of force by Dusty Rhodes and his new allies- what a formidable group he has assembled! The Horsemen are gonna have their work cut out for them, you better believe it! We could be in for some serious competition- and some serious bloodshed- before this thing is over. Now fans, it is finally time to head to our main event tonight, a World Tag Team Championship bout! The ROAD WARRIORS are ready for their rematch against the CALGARY FLYERS in an effort to regain the belts! MAIN EVENT: NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPTHE CALGARY FLYERS (OWEN HART & BRIAN PILLMAN) defeated THE ROAD WARRIORS to retain the World Tag Team Titles! In another stunning finish, the Flyers escaped with their titles with another surprise victory over the angry Road Warriors! The Warriors dominated most of the contest, but Hart and Pillman tagged frequently enough to keep themselves in the match. Animal crushed Pillman with an enormous power slam, but Owen broke up the pin attempt and pitched Animal out to the floor. Brady Boone let the match continue, and Pillman recovered enough to bring Hart into the match. Hawk tagged in, and went to the ropes, but Owen rolled him up in the small package for a two count! Before Hawk could get to his feet, Owen deftly turned him over into a Sharpshooter! Animal came to his assistance, but Pillman alertly cut him off with a drop toe hold and Animal slammed hard onto the back of his partner. Still trapped in the Sharpshooter, Hawk was unable to recover from his partner's miscue. After a lengthy struggle, Hawk was unable to reach the ropes and appeared to black out. When he failed to respond, Brady Boone quickly called for the bell! Daytondave: Unbelievable! I was flabbergasted when the Flyers captured the belts the first time. Tonight, I figured the Road Warriors would take Owen and Pillman apart once and for all. But you gotta hand it to the champs- the Flyers refused to be intimidated and they stuck to their game plan. These guys have been together for a long time now, and tonight their teamwork really paid off. Congratulations to the Flyers and best of luck to them in their travels throughout the NWA! Fans, it is always great to be in a wrestling town like Carbondale. Stay tuned on Monday night for our next episode of Adrenalinie, where we'll see another outstanding championship rematch. Midwest Heavyweight Champion BATISTA will put the gold up for grabs as he takes on the man he defeated to earn that belt, NIGEL McGUINESS. Until then, fans, that's our show and I AM OUTTA HERE!

NWA Heartland Card #109 MARK of the Quad Cities, Moline, Illinois January 14, 2007 The show opens with COMMISSIONER DAYTONDAVE standing in the ring with the microphone. He is unaccompanied, but still meticulously dressed in casual Joseph Abboud khaki slacks and a black lambskin bomber jacket.Daytondave: Hey, fans, NWA Heartland comin' back at ya with an exciting episode of Monday Night Adrenaline! We have a great show planned for tonight, including a terrific double main event as only the Heartland can produce. First, we'll determine who will head to Havoc XIV to fight for the Heartland Tag Team Championship! After losing their World Title rematch last Friday Night, THE ROAD WARRIORS are on the war path and will square off against AUSTIN ARIES and RODERICK STRONG for the spot in the championship match. In our final match, we'll see a rematch for the Midwest Heavyweight Championship as BATISTA defends the belt against former champion NIGEL McGUINESS. But first, we have not one, but TWO Divas matches to get things rolling! DIVA DIVISION TOURNAMENTMELINA pinned VICTORIAIn a match which was quicker and more one-sided than most expected, Melina went to the air early and often to put away Victoria with the Extreme Makeover. SPECIAL RETURN MATCH: CHRISTY HEMME pinned JACKIE MOOREIn a return bout from their wild double-disqualification, the two rivals picked up where they left off. Both ladies held nothing back! After surviving a massive spear and a missile dropkick, Christy caught Jackie coming off the top rope and slammed her to the mat, then delivered the Twist of Fate to score the pinfall. Daytondave: That's my girl! Great job! Christy and Jackie really went all out, but in the end it was Jackie's mistake which cost her the match. And no one is prouder than I am after such a fine performance by my lovely and talented assistant. Christy should be back to the broadcast booth in a few moments. Before we get on to the men's matches, Heartland Heavyweight Champion RIC FLAIR has asked for some interview time, and of course it is my pleasure to oblige! The "Theme from 2001" plays on the sound system, and the Nature Boys struts to the ring. He is accompanied by BATISTA, ARN ANDERSON, TULLY BLANCHARD, and TRACI BROOKS as he climbs into the ring alongside Daytondave. He looks the Commissioner up and down, admiringly, as he checks out the lambskin jacket.Flair: WOOOOO!! Mister Commissioner, you are lookin' fine tonight. I respect a man who can style and profile. It's no wonder the women are lining up at your door, my man. But tonight, I am here on business! The Horsemen have been called out by a turncoat and a bunch of fat redneck slobs- these so-called TEXAS MAVERICKS. Dusty Rhodes, you bring whoever you want! Windham? Wahoo McDaniel? Dick Murdoch? We don't care, Mavericks. Bring Goose and Iceman along too if you want, because the Horsemen will be taking you to school. WOOOO!! Flair struts around the ring, dancing the jig and brushing back his hair as ARN ANDERSON takes the microphone. Anderson: Dick Murdoch! I got something for you, pal. You don't just walk into the Heartland and put your nose into Horsemen business. You, my friend, are going to pay the price for that. I have been to the Heartland Championship Committee and I have been granted a match against you at Heartland Havoc XIV. Murdoch, you pathetic toothless moron, prepare for a beating like you have never experienced. The Titantron lights up and DUSTY RHODES and DICK MURDOCH appear on-screen. Murdoch: Let me tell you something, Double A. Dick Murdoch ain't a hard guy to find. You found me last Friday night at Fury, and you found me for Heartland Havoc. But I got news for you, smart guy. The Heartland Championship Committee also found Dick Murdoch. And guess what- I signed your little contract to take you on at Havoc. But I added a little stipulation of my own- at Heartland Havoc, it will be Murdoch vs. Anderson in a STRAP MATCH!Anderson's eyes nearly bulge out of his head as Murdoch and Rhodes glare into the camera. Even Flair hesitates as his demeanor turns deadly serious. Blanchard begins to rub the shoulders of Anderson, giving him a pep talk as the Horsemen stride intently back to the locker room.Daytondave: A strap match a Havoc XIV! Dick Murdoch has certainly made his presence felt since Dusty Rhodes brought him back to the Heartland! This will be one battle that Chicago will never forget! Now, let's head back to the ring for tonight's action. TAKESHI MORISHIMA defeated DEAN MALENKO by disqualificationMalenko fought like mad to battle against his much larger foe. Morishima controlled much of the action, pummeling Malenko with boots to the face and levelling him with the running hip attack. Malenko countered with a ground-based attack, riding Morishima and working over his left arm. Morishima escaped out of the ring, and Malenko followed. In the ensuing brawl, Morishima smacked Malenko face-first onto the steel steps! Malenko was busted open, but continued to take the fight to Morishima! The match went back into the ring, where Malenko continued to hold his own, working on Morishima's injured arm and nearly forcing him to tap to the cross armbreaker! Morishima finally managed to fight his way out of the armbar, then used his good shoulder to pound Malenko to the mat with a diving shoulder block. Action spilled outside the ring again as both men continued to battle, despite the efforts of Heather Owens to maintain control. As she stepped in to break up the brawl, Malenko shoved her to the side, and Heather was forced to call for the disqualification. After the match, cooler heads prevailed. Both men glared at each other, fists clenched, but the tension subsided as Malenko offered Morishima a handshake. Morishima responded with a handshake and a respectful embrace, assisting Malenko back to the dressing room to get his crimson-soaked forehead repaired.Daytondave: A fitting end to an intense confrontation! As you might expect, both these competitors put all they had into the bout, but the level of respect between them is apparent. MARK BRISCOE (w/ SARA DEL RAY) defeated TONY ATLAS by disqualificationAtlas came out powerfully against Briscoe, battering him with punches and rocking him with headbutts. Briscoe survived one skullcrusher, but when Atlas attempted to repeat the move, Briscoe fled the ring. Sara Del Ray took the opportunity to involve herself at this point, accosting referee Heather Owens and berating her. Mark took advantage of the distraction, climbing to the ring apron and launching himself at Atlas with a beautifully executed springboard dropkick! This turned the match in Mark's favor as he followed up with a Briscoesault. Atlas angrily hurled Briscoe out of the ring and slammed him into the steel security railing. Still in no mood to tolerate the brutality, Heather immediately stopped the match and sent Atlas back to the locker room. Furious, Atlas attempted to get after Sara! Mark threw himself between Atlas and Sara, and the fists flew! Before long, the NEW AGE OUTLAWS hit the ring and set onto Mark! BG and Kip laid a beating on Mark. Atlas decided to leave well enough alone, shielding Sara from the fracas as Mark struggled to fight back against the James boys. JAY BRISCOE dashed to the ring and pulled Mark to safety as the Outlaws laughed and high-fived, watching Mark stagger back to the dressing room with the assistance of his brother.Daytondave: Wow! The Briscoes and the Outlaws are certainly geared up for their confrontation at Havoc XIV! And don't forget about Sara and CHEERLEADER MELISSA will also be involved in that battle. What an ugly brawl that should be. Without warning, the tune "Head Like a Hole" by Nine Inch Nails plays over the sound system. The "FALLEN ANGEL" CHRISTOPHER DANIELS strides to the announcer's table at ringside and grabs a headset.Daytondave: Christopher Daniels! You're not scheduled to be here. What are you doing out here? Daniels: That's right, Mr. Commissioner. I'm not scheduled to be here, but I AM here. And I have a problem to solve. It should come as no surprise to you to remember that I have won more matches in the Heartland than anyone in the history of this federation. And yet, who won the Wrestler of the Year award? That goofball DELIRIOUS?!?!? NO FREAKING WAY! That idiot is not worthy of carrying my dirty laundry. Daytondave: With all due respect, Christopher, the award was decided on points. Delirious worked his tail off, and won BOTH the Midwest and the Heartland Heavyweight Titles in 2007, and- Daniels: And what? I am the only three-time Midwest Champion! And if I hadn't been drafted to that ridiculous Tradition federation, I would have compiled more points than Delirious. The only difference is, The Fallen Angel is a hot commodity and Delirious is a one-trick pony. Nobody else wanted him! But I am done complaining. I didn't come back here to the Heartland to whine, I came back to FIGHT! Delirious, I know you're back there. Get out here and let's settle this issue in the ring! The arena immediately goes dark as the tune "Hybrid Stigmata" by Dimmu Borgir plays overhead. Colored lights and streamers fill the air as DELIRIOUS dashes down the aisle, slides into the ring, and points a finger at Daniels. Daniels hits the ring, but Delirious slides out to the floor and runs frenetically around the arena, darting back and forth, until he streaks back into the ring and begins exchanging blows with Daniels. Heather Owens calls for the bell, and the impromptu match begins!CHRISTOPHER DANIELS pinned DELIRIOUSThe unpredictable Delirious came after his challenger with all he had, dashing around the ring and babbling wildly as he delivered a series of clotheslines leading to a ring-shaking Panic Attack. But the Fallen Angel kept his cool, ducking one of Delirious' wild punches and lifting him into a back suplex. As Delirious rose, Daniels locked him into a vicious reverse STO, then followed up quickly with the Best Moonsault Ever! Delirious kicked out at two, but Daniels immediately went back for another BME and scored the pinfall! Daytondave: Christopher Daniels certainly made his statement against Delirious tonight! One victory may not be the end of this rivalry, but it WILL earn the Fallen Angel a shot at the World Junior X-Division title match at Havoc XIV! Daniels versus JUSHIN "THUNDER" LIGER will be an outstanding match-up! But now, we must decide who will wrestle for the Tag Team Championship at Havoc. Will the mighty ROAD WARRIORS make it to the finals, or will AUSTIN ARIES and RODERICK STRONG find a way to overcome the Awesome Destruction? Let's head back to the ring! AUSTIN ARIES & RODERICK STRONG defeated THE ROAD WARRIORS by disqualificationAries and Strong advance to the finals! Mark this one down as a career highlight for Roderick Strong. After the Warriors beat down Aries in the early going, Strong jumped into the ring to save his partner from an attempted Doomsday Device! Strong lifted Animal into a backbreaker and sent him careening out of the ring. Strong then took over on Hawk, avoiding a huge clothesline and converting Hawk into a half-nelson backbreaker. Enraged, Hawk tossed Strong out of the ring where Animal rammed him into the steel railing. This cost the Warriors the match as Heather put a stop to the brutality and awarded the bout to Aries and Strong. After the decision, Animal continued to pound away at Strong. The hot-tempered Aries was quick to jump into the melee, and soon all four men were brawling wildly. The fracas spilled all over Moline, until RENE GOULET and his Elite Security Forces were summoned to quell the mayhem. The Forces acted quickly and decisively, promptly putting an end to the brawl and dispatching the men to the dressing room.Daytondave: What a fiasco! Thank heavens for Rene Goulet. I don't know where this territory would be without him! But I gotta tell you, fans, Roderick Strong wrestled one helluva match, saving his partner and getting the best of Hawk in the process. I never would have believed it! And I am sure that PAUL ELLERING is beside himself at this point. First, the Road Warriors lose the World Tag Team titles, and now they get eliminated in the semifinals of the Heartland tournament! Do you believe it? MAIN EVENT: MIDWEST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPBATISTA (w/ MELINA) defeated NIGEL McGUINESS by countoutA controversial ending to a highly competitive title match! Batista and Nigel went back and forth, exchanging flurries as Batista exerted his power and McGuiness countered with chain wrestling tactics. Batista got control of the situation and levelled Nigel with a crushing spear! Batista followed with the Batista Bomb, but Nigel got his foot across the bottom rope to interrupt the count. Batista was clearly frustrated, and Nigel was able to recover and get back into the match. When the angry Animal charged at Nigel, he deftly sidestepped the onrush, sending Batista crashing to the ring post! Nigel immediately hoisted Batista to the top rope and executed the Tower of London! When he hooked the leg of Batista, Heather Owens made the three-count. But Melina placed the foot of Batista across the bottom rope, and shrieked at Heather, who then spotted the leg across the rope and restarted the match as Nigel was celebrating. Batista caught McGuiness off-guard with a clothesline across the back of the neck, sending him tumbling through the ropes and out to the floor. McGuiness was stunned, and struggled to get to his feet, but Melina caught him with a low blow unseen by Heather Owens as she completed the ten-count. After the decision, Heartland Championship Committee member CHUCK NORRIS strode to the ring and took the microphone.Norris: Enough already! Chuck Norris stands for Fairness and Justice! You people have taken advantage of this honest referee far too many times, and frankly, I am fed up with it. Three disqualifications and a countout? Especially in a match of this magnitude. The Championship Committee will NOT sit idly by and watch Nigel McGuiness be deprived of his championship rematch in this fashion. So, on behalf of the committee, I am declaring a rematch at Havoc XIV- BATISTA versus NIGEL McGUINESS. No countout, no disqualification. And there will be a Special Guest Referee for that contest- ME! Melina: Freakin' Chuck Norris! Daytondave: How about that? Chuck Norris has come out and laid down the law! Another confrontation between Batista and Nigel at Havoc, and Norris himself will be the guest referee! What a way to round out an already LOADED pay-per-view. Be sure to be here, live from Chicago, this Saturday night, as we will now have THREE titles on the line as the Midwest Championship, the Heartland Tag Titles, and the World Junior X-Division championship are all up for grabs. So be sure to join us on Saturday- and until then, fans, that's our show and I AM OUTTA HERE!

NWA Heartland Havoc XIV United Center, Chicago, Illinois January 19, 2008 The show opens with a wide shot of Chicago, panning across the downtown skyline to the United Center. As the camera zooms in on the entrance to the arena, the view suddenly cuts away to the parking lot where the NEW AGE OUTLAWS are confronting SARA DEL REY. KIP JAMES has Sara pinned against the side of the car with his finger in her face, shouting at her as BG JAMES is seen in the background laughing. Kip slaps Sara as she leans backward against the car. From nowhere, Sara blasts Kip across the side of the head with a left hook, knocking him to the ground! Sara grabs Kip by the hair and tries to ram his head into the side of the car, but BG grabs Sara from behind and pulls her arms back. Kip gets to his feet and draws back a fist, when suddenly the sound of hoofbeats is heard approaching in the distance. CHUCK NORRIS rides into the scene, leaps from his horse, and catches Kip by the arm. He spins Kip around, lifts him over the shoulder, and dumps him into the bed of a nearby pickup truck. BG immediately lets go of Sara and runs for cover. Chuck offers Sara his arm, and deftly hoists her onto his trusty steed. He personally delivers Sara safely to the entrance of the arena, giving her a tip of his hat as she climbs down from the horse and enters the building. The scene shifts to the ring with COMMISSIONER DAYTONDAVE in a handwoven Pashmina and Silk tuxedo. CHRISTY HEMME is on his arm in an elegant, low-cut, long black dress slit high up the leg. Daytondave holds the microphone and addresses the packed house.Daytondave: Hey, fans, welcome to Heartland Havoc XIV. NWA Heartland Wrestling proudly presents tonight's pay-per-view extravaganza right here in Chicago, Illinois! Tonight will be an outstanding night of action, with three championships on the line. Our main event match-up will feature NWA World Junior X-Division champion JUSHIN LIGER, defending his title against our own CHRISTOPHER DANIELS! But before we get to our feature contests, we have a special addition to tonight's broadcast. Christy, tell us about our opening bout! Christy: Anything for you, boss. Especially in that gorgeous tuxedo. Chicago certainly brings out the best in you! The bad news is, the Heartland federation has been carrying around some dead weight, and it's time to bring on some fresh talent. We have two men in this company who have yet to win a match! Tonight's first contest will pit these two men in a no-disqualification match, and the loser will be FIRED from the promotion! So, in our first contest, let's bring out ADAM PEARCE and WILLIAM REGAL!WILLIAM REGAL pinned ADAM PEARCE(Referee: Heather Owens)With his career on the line, Regal got right down to business. He stunned "Scrap Iron" with a European uppercut, then put him on the mat with a beautifully executed Exploder. As Pearce staggered to his feet, Regal drilled him with a brutal Regal Knee, finishing him off for the pin in under one minute! Daytondave: Bravo! Bravo! And they said it couldn't be done. Adam Pearce, you are tonight's biggest loser, and you are FIRED! Pearce hangs his head in shame as he slinks out of the arena. Regal appears relieved as he celebrates his victory.Christy: Aw, boss... are you really gonna fire Adam right here in his own home town? That was so humiliating! Daytondave: You're right, sweetheart. Nobody is gonna humiliate one of my wrestlers. Regal- you're FIRED too! Regal is horrified! His face turns to a grimace as he scowls at the commissioner. He makes a move toward the broadcast table, but referee Heather Owens steps in front of him and guides him back to the dressing room. Christy giggles and waves at Regal as he pouts and exits from the ring area.Daytondave: Well, I'm glad THAT'S over. Now, let's get to some REAL Heartland action! Nothing like a good old Strap Match to get a place like Chicago rockin'! LEATHER STRAP MATCHARN ANDERSON defeated DICK MURDOCH(Referee: Joe Kopasz)Both men tore into each other with the intensity of this bitter feud. Murdoch and Anderson stood toe to toe and pounded away at each other with neither man backing down. But whenever the strap came into play, Anderson was masterful. He ducked Murdoch's attempted clothesline and whipped the Maverick to the floor, then yanked on the strap to jerk Murdoch headlong into the steel ringpost! Murdoch was busted open, but continued to brawl. With his forehead bleeding briskly, he came back at Anderson with a fury, wrapping the strap around his fist and beating the Enforcer down. Before long, both men were cut open, but Anderson kept his cool. Sliding back into the ring, Anderson yanked on the strap and pulled Murdoch hard into the steel steps. Murdoch collapsed, holding his left knee. Anderson didn't hesitate, reeling his injured foe back into the ring and dropping him down with a Gourd Buster for the three-count. Daytondave: Well played, Double A! Anderson may not be able to brawl with Murdoch all night, but this match was all about the smarts! Anderson is one of the craftiest competitors in this business, and there is no doubt he proved it tonight. It looks like Murdoch is going to need some assistance back to the training room. Let's get a forklift out here and haul his bloated carcass out of the ring so we can get to our first championship match of the evening! Christy, while the ring is being cleared, let's see some footage from the recent Midwest Heavyweight Title match between the champion BATISTA and the former title holder NIGEL McGUINESS.Footage plays on the eight-sided United Center video screen from Monday Night Adrenaline. Batista crushed Nigel with the Batista Bomb, but Nigel got his foot across the bottom rope to interrupt the count. McGuiness was stunned, and struggled to get to his feet, but Melina caught him with a low blow unseen by Heather Owens as she completed the ten-count.Daytondave: Nice work, Christy. And that is what prompted the Heartland Championship Committee to book tonight's rematch with the title on the line- and CHUCK NORRIS in the role of Special Guest Referee! MIDWEST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPBATISTA (w/ MELINA) pinned NIGEL McGUINESS to retain the Midwest Title!(Special Referee: Chuck Norris)McGuiness started the match quickly, much to the surprise of his powerhouse foe. Nigel caught Batista off the ropes with a powerful lariat, sending him staggering to the corner. Quickly, McGuiness hoisted his foe to the top turnbuckle and stunned him with the Tower of London, but Batista kicked out. Nigel REPEATED the move, and Batista kicked out again! Shrieking, Melina came to the ring apron just as Batista reversed Nigel's attempted Irish Whip. Sensing danger, Norris quickly stepped across the path of the streaking Nigel and hoisted Melina over his shoulder, saving her from a certain collision! The match continued without incident, and Batista caught Nigel on the rebound with a thunderous Sidewalk Slam. McGuiness was clearly stunned as the Animal hoisted him overhead and delievered the Batista Bomb for a clean pinfall victory. After the match, Batista dragged Nigel to his feet, preparing to deliver a powerslam, but referee Norris grabbed Batista by the arm and spun him around. Batista swung a mighty fist at Norris, but Chuck ducked the blow, grabbed Batista's opposite arm, and twisted him into a hammerlock! Norris then hurled Batista out of the ring, grabbed the top rope, and vaulted himself over to the floor with a picturesque landing. Dazed and confused, Batista shook his head. Melina retrieved the belt and handed it to Batista, then led him away from the ring.Daytondave: Saving lives, and calling the match right down the middle. That is the true greatness of Chuck Norris. Only the smartest commissioner in the NWA would bring him in to lay down the law. Well done, sir! Without a word, Norris retrieves his cowboy hat and gives Daytondave a nod. He then tips his hat to Christy, turns, and disappears into the sunset.SIX-PERSON INTERGENDER TAG TEAM GRUDGE MATCHTHE BRISCOE BROTHERS & SARA DEL RAY defeated THE NEW AGE OUTLAWS & CHEERLEADER MELISSA(Referee: Danny Davis)The match began with a buzz as Kip started against Mark Briscoe. Kip caught Briscoe with a Death Valley Driver for a two count, and Mark smartly rolled out for a tag. Before Jay could tag in, Sara intercepted Mark's hand and tagged herself in against Kip! Kip laughed, until Sara smacked him with a chop across the chest which echoed through the halls of the United Center. Kip's face turned nearly as red as his chest, and he tagged in Melissa as BG James laughed hysterically. The ladies battled evenly for a time, but Sara gained the advantage after Jay Briscoe teamed with her to stun Melissa with a double shoulder block! Melissa tagged out to BG, and Jay quickly tagged himself into the match despite Sara's protests. Jay took control on BG as he and Sara repeated the double shoulder block. Jay lifted BG into the J-Driller, with an assist from Mark with a springboard spike! Melissa broke up the pin, but as Danny Davis put her out of the ring, BG staggered to his feet and Sara decked him with a running clothesline! Sara quickly slid out of the ring as Jay made the cover and BG was pinned cleanly! After the pinfall, Kip laughed at BG for being pinned. Even Cheerleader Melissa cracked a smile, which only infuriated BG further. BG glared at his partner, then pointed at Melissa and threatened to backhand her. Melissa smacked BG's hand away from her face, and BG responded by shoving her to the canvas! Melissa sprang to her feet and launched herself at BG, tackling him to the canvas and wailing on him with punches and slaps. Kip grabbed Melissa by the hair and angrily threw her to the mat. In a flash, both Kip and BG began putting the boots to Melissa as she lay on the canvas. The Briscoes quickly came to the rescue, pushing the Outlaws away from Melissa. Even Sara jumped into the fray, interposing herself between Melissa and the attacking Outlaws. The men continued to brawl until all four had spilled out of the ring, taking the fight to the floor.Sara attempted to help Melissa to her feet, but Melissa shrieked at her and shoved her aside. Melissa slid out of the ring and nailed Jay Briscoe with a low blow! Kip laughed as Jay crumpled to the floor. Kip put his arm around Melissa, who responded with a hug. Mark went to the aid of Jay, as BG joined Kip and Melissa for a good laugh. Melissa walked to the announcer's table and picked up the microphone.Melissa: Hey, Sara! You're SUCH a goody two-shoes! You of all people should know, I can take care of myself, WITHOUT your help. So why don't you and your redneck retards just get out of here and keep your nose out of our family business! Sara stood in the ring, infuriated, as Melissa and the Outlaws left the arena together.Daytondave: Good heavens! That Outlaws bunch is one dysfunctional family! One minute, the boys are stomping a mud hole in Melissa, and the next minute they are hugging and laughing it up together. What a bizarre situation. I am sure Sara thought she was doing the right thing, especially after she was accosted by the Outlaws earlier in the evening. Some things are just beyond understanding! It looks as if things are back under control. Finally, we are ready to crown new Tag Team Champions! Let's head back to the ring for the tag title match! The arena lights suddenly go dark. The music "Hybrid Stigmata" by Dimmu Borgir fills the air. Colored spotlights flash and shoot throughout the United Center as the enormous figure of TAKESHI MORISHIMA appears at the top of the ramp. As Morishima raises his hands in the air a voice begins speaking over the loudspeakers.Delirious: BLAH BAH BAH BLAH BAH BAH BAH! BAH BALH WAH BAH TSUNAMI! BLAH BAH BAH BAH TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! BAH BLAH BAW BAH BAHGAH GAH! Delirious sprints to the ring, followed closely by Morishima, as the fans roar their approval and the lights come up.Daytondave: Quite an intimidating new entrance for the team now calling themselves "Tsunami". It looks like Aries and Strong will take a more conventional path to the ring where referee Joe Kopasz awaits. Let's get it started! NWA HEARTLAND TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPTEAM TSUNAMI (TAKESHI MORISHIMA & DELIRIOUS) defeated AUSTIN ARIES & RODERICK STRONG to capture the vacant Heartland Tag Team Championship!(Referee: Joe Kopasz)The team of Delirious and Morishima were clicking on all cylinders tonight, overcoming Aries and Strong to win the tag team tournament! The teamwork was in evidence throughout the match as Morishima overpowered Aries in the early going and Delirious clobbered him from out of nowhere with the Panic Attack! Strong tagged in against Aries, and the two rivals went at it fiercely, with Strong taking control. Roderick put Delirious down with a half-nelson backbreaker, then drilled him with a Hart Attack for a two-count. Delirious escaped to tag Morishima, and the 300-pounder took over the match! Takeshi flattened strong with a kick to the face, then drilled the onrushing Aries with a powerful shoulder block. Morishima followed with the Saito Suplex, but Strong interrupted the count. Delirious launched himself into Roderick with a running spear, sending both men tumbling to the arena floor. Morishima then repeated the Saito and pinned Aries cleanly for the victory! Daytondave: After a lengthy run in the Heartland, the Japanese giant has finally gotten his first taste of gold! And on top of that, Delirious becomes the FIRST wrestler in Heartland history to have held all three major championships- tag team, Midwest, and the Heartland Heavyweight Championship! Ironically enough, it was Morishima who was defeated by Delirious in the tournament final to capture that championship. That rivalry gave birth to this partnership which has led Team Tsunami to the Tag Team Championship! Sadly, it has been a less stellar run for Aries, who made an aggressive play to position himself and TIGER MASK to regain the titles, only to have a falling out and replace Tiger Mask with his former partner Roderick Strong. But I am sure we haven't seen the last of Aries and Strong in the ranks of tag team contenders. Now let's go to the main event! MAIN EVENT: NWA JUNIOR X-DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIPJUSHIN "THUNDER" LIGER pinned CHRISTOPHER DANIELS to retain the title!(Referee: Brady Boone)"Thunder" was more like "Lightning" tonight as Liger put on a spectacular exhibition of flying tactics to put aside the challenge of the Fallen Angel. Liger was a dervishfrom the opening bell, hitting Daniels with a back suplex, followed by a rolling koppo kick to send the challenger reeling. Liger rolled him into a hanging surfboard, punishing Daniels until he finally broke free and made it to the safety of the ring floor. BIG mistake! Liger went to the sky, soaring over the top rope and levelling Daniels with the flying body press on the ring floor. Daniels was never the same after this move, although he tried gamely to fight back.. Daniels locked up with Liger and delivered a reverse STO, but Liger kicked out and quickly regained control. Daniels survived a brainbuster and a Liger Bomb, but Liger followed with a perfectly executed Fisherman's Buster to secure the victory. Daytondave: A very impressive title defense for Jushin Liger! He took Christopher Daniels apart in that match in sensational fashion. Congratulations to Liger on a successful defense and a dominant championship reign in the JuniorX-Division. And, congratulations to me for putting together this terrific pay-per-view broadcast. We have seen some historic events here in Chicago, and now it is time for a night on the town! Thanks for joining us here from the United Center. We'll be back on Monday night with the next episode of Adrenaline. Until then, fans, that's our show and I AM OUTTA HERE!

NWA Heartland Card #110 Branch Rickey Arena, Delaware, Ohio January 21, 2008 COMMISSIONER DAYTONDAVE opens the show, in the ring accompanied by CHRISTY HEMME. Daytondave is decked out in a Versace Paisley Jacquard Jacket over a ribbed crewneck sweater as he watches Christy wave to the fans and fire T-shirts into the crowd.Daytondave: That's right, fans, Monday Night Adrenaline is live and on the air! The beautiful and talented Christy is tossing out the free T-shirts which proclaim, "Daytondave: Filsinger Games' Newest ICON" in celebration of yours truly achieving 1,000 posts at the Legends of Wrestling Message Board. But fans, the credit belongs to YOU! Now, let's get the show rolling! We're here at Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio, just outside Columbus, the birthplace of Filsinger Games' newest ICON! We have some outstanding matches planned for tonight, but first, we have some important announcements. Christy, what's the buzz? Christy: Well, boss, congratulations to TEAM TSUNAMI for becoming the new Heartland Tag Team Champions! But before you boys get too comfortable with those belts, the Heartland Championship Committee has declared that we need to select a number one contender to your titles. Beginning tonight, a four-team mini-tournament will be held to determine the number one contenders! Daytondave: Well done, my dear. The Committee has also announced two more mini-tournaments to begin tonight. We also need a number one contender to the Heartland Heavyweight Championship, belonging to RIC FLAIR. Four men will vie for the right to challenge the Nature Boy for the championship! And the biggest prize of all is also up for grabs- a third tournament, beginning tonight, to determine which Heartland superstar will wrestle for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship at Friday Night Fury on February 1st! Tonight, in a non-title match, Ric Flair will be in action against TOMMY ROGERS for a spot in the match to determine Heartland's representative in that contest! Christy: Tonight's card will be LOADED! And we still have the semifinals of the Moolah Memorial tournament to come. Tonight's opening match will feature- The music "Final Countdown" by Europe interrupts Christy as it plays overhead. SARA DEL REY storms to the ring and rips the microphone away from Christy. Christy quickly backs down, and Daytondave also steps aside to allow the enraged diva to speak.Sara: CHEERLEADER MELISSA! I have had enough of your CRAP! You are one awesome wrestler- you have given me some of the stiffest challenges of my career. But this nonsense with the NEW AGE OUTLAWS has got to stop! It was bad enough when KIP JAMES tried to attack me in the parking lot- but I cannot believe that you would come after me when I was trying to protect you from that sleazebag! You can just forget about any loyalty to SHIMMER or to a fellow woman. From now on, whenever I see you, I am going to KICK YOUR TAIL! And the tail-kicking begins TONIGHT. You and me, one on one, in this very ring! It is time for you to get the beating you deserve! Sara throws down the microphone, and turns to leave the ring. As she departs, she catches a glimpse of Daytondave. She stops in her tracks, standing mesmerized for a moment as she eyes the handsome Commissioner. She stammers as she moves next to him and utters, "Nice jacket... that's hot!". Sara takes a moment to collect her thoughts before leaving the ring.Christy: Wow! Daytondave, you are one handsome stud! You stopped her dead in her tracks! (Giggles.)Daytondave: What can I say? Chicks dig Versace... (Tonight's referee: Heather Owens)DIVA DIVISION TOURNAMENTMELINA defeated RAIN by submissionMelina dominated this match, tying up her foe in knots. After wearing her down with a Japanese stranglehold, Melina rolled her over into an Inverted Surfboard, grinning cruelly as Rain screamed her submission. Daytondave: Very well done by Melina! She has picked up her game, both as a manager and as a competitor. She will now move into the Finals of the Diva Division tournament! And yes, fans, it is confirmed. Tonight we will have a very special main event! For the first time ever, our main event will feature a Divas Grudge Match, pitting CHEERLEADER MELISSA against SARA DEL REY! It is no surprise that the feud between these two has spilled over into such an intense confrontation! I can't wait to see this bitterness come to a head tonight! Now, let's move on to our men's action. CHRISTOPHER DANIELS pinned RODERICK STRONGDaniels was brutally efficient in dispatching Strong. The "Fallen Angel" took control early, ducking a clothesline and leveling Strong with a charging high knee. Daniels then blasted Roderick with a Blue Thunder Bomb, and quickly went to the Best Moonsault Ever to score a clean victory. Daytondave: Another powerful statement by the Fallen Angel! He is back in the Heartland and focused on returning to the top of the rankings! With that victory, he becomes the first man in the history of this federation with 30 wins in singles competition! DUSTY RHODES pinned TULLY BLANCHARD (w/ TRACI BROOKS)The two hated rivals from enemy factions hooked up in a brutal bloodbath! Rhodes got control early, rebounding off the ropes and dropping Tully with the bionic elbow. Blanchard went down hard, and Dusty was on him relentlessly. Even when Tully fled to the ring floor, Rhodes pursued him and kept up the pressure. Rhodes repeated smashed Tully with the Bionic Elbow until he bled profusely, but Tully doggedly kept after him! Traci managed to reverse the momentum of the match, catching Dusty by the ankle and allowing Tully to level him with a clothesline. As Heather Owens berated Traci, Blanchard went to his trunks and wrapped a chain around his fist. Blanchard pounded away on Dusty, opening a nasty gash on his forehead. Tully capitalized, going to the Slingshot Suplex, but Dusty powered out! The Dream rolled out of the ring, and a fierce brawl erupted. Dusty got the best of Tully and clobbered him with another bionic elbow. Blanchard was nearly out on his feet as Dusty rolled him back into the ring and delivered one last Bionic Elbow as the fans roared and Heather Owens counted the pin. (Final tokens: Blanchard 9, Rhodes 6)Daytondave: Unbelievable. You put a Horseman and a Maverick together and bad things are bound to happen. That was one of the most savage matches the Heartland has ever seen- with nothing at stake but the pride and the passion! I have to believe this feud is gonna get ugly before it is over with. And speaking of ugly feuds, it is time for our first qualifying match to determine the number one contender for the Heartland Tag Team Championship. The committee has booked it, and the good people of Delaware will witness this return match between THE BRISCOE BROTHERS and the NEW AGE OUTLAWS. However, in light of the importance of this match, and the events at Heartland Havoc, CHEERLEADER MELISSA and SARA DEL REY are BARRED from ringside! HEARTLAND TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: QUALIFYING MATCHTHE NEW AGE OUTLAWS defeated THE BRISCOE BROTHERSA miraculous win for the Outlaws! The heated competition between these teams carried over from Havoc as they lit into each other with a passion! Superior teamwork put the Briscoes in the driver's seat, as they isolated BG and wore him down with a series of well-executed double-team manuvers. But BG fought his way back, surviving multiple pinning predicaments and making a desperate tag to Kip. The most powerful man in the match, Kip hammered away at both Briscoes, finally getting an assist from BG to flatten Jay with a spike piledriver. Kip followed with a Fame-Asser for a two-count. Jay escaped from the ring, but Kip pursued him. Jay caught Kip coming out, connected with a teeth-rattling Superkick! Kip caught the kick flush on the nose, and the blood flowed. Undaunted, Kip hurled Jay to the steel railing, where he smacked hard chest first. In desperation, Kip rolled Jay back into the ring and went for broke, going to the top turnbuckle. Kip shocked Jay with a flying body press, leveling Jay for a three-count and a sensational victory! Daytondave: How about that? You have just seen Kip James at his finest, fans! He got NAILED by that superkick from Jay- I think he broke his nose! But Kip fought on, like a true bad-ass, and took the Outlaws to the victory. Could there be gold in their future? The title picture in the Heartland is up in the air on all fronts. We still need a number one contender for Ric Flair's Heartland Heavyweight Title! HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: QUALIFYING MATCHTHE ROCK pinned BARRY WINDHAMIn yet another outstanding contest, The Rock moved a step closer to the Heartland Heavyweight Championship with a stunning victory over Barry Windham! Windham started quickly, dodging a clothesline from Rock and crushing him with a bulldog. Windham then executed a powerful Sweetwater Superplex, but Rock managed to kick out. The intensity boiled over, and Windham hurled Rock out of the ring. The brawl continued on the ring floor, and WAHOO McDANIEL emerged at ringside to watch Windham's back. Wahoo was followed closely by Rock's partner, BOBO BRAZIL, and the two heavyweights jawed at each other and had a brief shoving match until the match went back into the ring. Rock got the best of the fisticuffs, hurling Windham back inside and Laying The Smack Down, knocking Windham to the mat. Rock proceeded to execute his People's Elbow for a near fall. Windham staggered to his feet, but the Rock was waiting, catching the big Texan with a powerful DDT to put his lights out and end the match conclusively. Daytondave: The Rock is emerging as a serious contender! Windham has been one of the hottest wrestlers in the Heartland of late, and Rock just took the fight to him and came away with a clean victory. Will he emerge as the number one challenger to the title? Perhaps, if he and his running buddy BOBO BRAZIL can keep their focus. They're a fun-loving duo, but when the Rock gets serious he can go with the best of them. Our next contest is a qualifying match to determine who will face NWA World Heavyweight Champion BRET HART on February 1 at Fury for the World Title! NON-TITLE BOUT: WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFYING MATCHTOMMY ROGERS (w/ DAFFNEY) pinned "NATURE BOY" RIC FLAIR (w/ TRACI BROOKS)Another stunning upset suffered by the Nature Boy! The popular Tommy Rogers was a decided underdog in this qualifying bout, and Flair took to the offensive from the opening bell. Nature Boy strutted and chopped the Rocket, and Tommy was quickly reddened and gasping. Flair nailed him with a shin breaker, preparing to finish him off with the Figure-4 when Daffney jumped to the ring apron and shrieked. When Flair turned and gestured at her, Rogers managed to kick him away, sending him careening into the turnbuckle! Before Flair or Traci could react, Rogers went to the top rope and delivered a Tomakaze, pinning Flair cleanly as the crowd was stunned! Daytondave: Are you kidding me? Tommy Rogers takes the pinfall over Ric Flair! This has got to propel him back to the top of the list of challengers not only for the World Title, but for Flair's Heartland belt as well. This guy has had an amazing run of success in the Heartland, especially in singles competition. Quite an impressive record for a guy who was consider mainly a tag team wrestler when he and BOBBY FULTON signed on. Fans, it's now time to see our Main Event match-up, as the brewing Divas feud between SARA DEL REY and CHEERLEADER MELISSA is about to come to a head! MAIN EVENT: DIVAS GRUDGE MATCHCHEERLEADER MELISSA defeated SARA DEL REY by disqualificationIt didn't take much for Melissa to get riled up for another showdown with Sara. The match started competitively, with both ladies trying to outdo each other in the ring. The women exchanged holds, with Sara trying to over power Melissa, while Melissa used her guile to executed several impressive escapes and reversals. The action intensified when Sara floored Melissa with a powerful Yakuza kick! Melissa lost her cool momentarily, and came back at Sara aggressively. Sara countered with a hard slap to the face, and the brawl was on! Both ladies launched into each other with rage, tumbling to the mat in a flurry of slaps and kicks, until they tumbled to the ring floor. THE BRISCOE BROTHERS quickly made their way to ringside, attempting to settle the brawl, but Melissa slapped Mark across the face! Mark went ballistic and clobbered Melissa with a forearm, knocking her to the floor! THE NEW AGE OUTLAWS sprinted to ringside, and even though KIP JAMES was heavily bandaged, the Outlaws took the fight to the Briscoes yet again! All six wrestlers battled throughout the arena. Kip and Jay tumbled over the security railing, where RENE GOULET and his Elite Security Forces managed to pull them apart. Heather Owens managed to get between the ladies and haul Melissa away from the ring to the backstage area. But BG JAMES escalated the violence against Mark, coming at him with a steel chair! Mark ducked the wild chair shot, responding with a kick to the stomach. BG dropped the chair, and Mark immediately grabbed BG by the neck and dropped him facefirst with a crushing DDT onto the chair! BG lay facefirst on the floor, bleeding profusely from the nose, as Mark stood over him, gesturing and taunting. The Briscoes raised their arms in triumph, leaving the ring area together with Sara as Kip tended to BG on the floor. Heather Owens awarded the match to Melissa via disqualification as a result of Mark's interference.Daytondave: This is insane! The Outlaws and the Briscoes are determined to tear each other apart- and the ladies are equally as desperate to take each other out! BG is holding his face- it looks like he has a serious nosebleed. I think the Outlaws both came away with broken noses tonight- but they also won the tag match, and Melissa has been awarded the decision in the ladies' match as well. Despite the casualties, the Outlaws won the battle tonight, but the war rages on! And as always, Heartland wrestling action rages on, this Friday night when we bring you the next installment of Fury from Akron, Ohio. The "Animal" BATISTA will be in the main event, defending his Midwest Heavyweight Championship in a battle you won't want to miss. Until then, fans, that's our show and I AM OUTTA HERE!cotg.proboards12.com/index.cgi?board=lowcards&action=display&thread=1160019897

NWA Heartland Card #111 James A. Rhodes Arena, Akron, Ohio January 25, 2008 COMMISSIONER DAYTONDAVE opens the show, standing in the ring with CHRISTY HEMME. Daytondave is sporting a hand-stitched, silk-lined black Jsen Wintle jacket over a tailored black shirt and black trousers. Christy checks out the sleek European style and pretends to faint as she ogles the man of her dreams.Christy: Daytondave, I swear you get HOTTER every time I see you! You look delicious tonight! Daytondave: Why thank you, my dear Christy, how kind of you to notice. This jacket was a gift from GEORGE CLOONEY. He had it imported from Harvey Nichols of London. Christy: That was certainly thoughtful of Mr. Clooney. Daytondave: George? Yeah, he owed me one. He called me the other day for some fashion tips. To top it off, I managed to hook him up with ODB. I guess he was ready for a walk on the wild side. But enough about me. Fans, welcome to Friday Night Fury! We are here tonight at the JAR- James A. Rhodes arena, right here in scenic Akron, Ohio, the birthplace of Alcoholics Anonymous. Is it any wonder? We have an exciting night of action tonight, to be topped off by a Midwest Heavyweight Title match pitting the champion, BATISTA, against a stiff challenge in BARRY WINDHAM. But first, we have a divas match to get things rolling. Let's head to the ring! (Tonight's referee: Brady Boone)DIVA DIVISION TOURNAMENTMcCHIF pinned SARA DEL REYDespite being worn down from Monday night's brawl with CHEERLEADER MELISSA, Sara came out with intensity and focus for her semifinal bout. MsChif was at the top of her game, and the ladies battled evenly for a considerable time. Sara connected with a Yakuza kick, stunning MsChif and setting her up for the Royal Butterfly. But MsChif kicked out, and suddenly blew the green mist onto Sara, blinding her momentarily. Before Brady Boone could see the results of the mist, MsChif hoisted Sara over her shoulder and dropped her with the Death Valley Driver to capture the pin! Daytondave: Now THAT is one crazy broad. No way on earth would I want to meet HER in a dark alley! Christy: Don't worry boss, I'll protect you. Daytondave: The one who should be worried is MELINA. She'll be facing this loony lady in the finals of the Moolah Memorial! Now let's get to the men's action. JAY BRISCOE pinned ARN ANDERSON (w/ TRACI BROOKS)Jay gave the wearied Sara Del Rey the night off, but still managed to use his superior athleticism to overcome the Enforcer and pin him after the Falcon Arrow. Daytondave: Fine competitive match in the singles division between two tag team specialists. Both Jay and brother MARK BRISCOE have had some recent success in singles competition. We'll see Mark in action later tonight. DEAN MALENKO defeated RANDY ORTON by submissionThe cocky Orton met his match tonight, as Malenko systematically dismantled him. After smashing Orton with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, Malenko dropped him hard with a top rope backbreaker. Orton kicked out at two, but Malenko rolled him into a cross armbreaker and forced him to tap out. Daytondave: That kid has a million-dollar body and a ten-cent brain. Malenko is a master in this business, and Junior would do well to train and study this game the way Malenko has. HEARTLAND TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: QUALIFYING MATCHAMERICA'S TEAM (TONY ATLAS & A.J. STYLES) defeated AUSTIN ARIES & RODERICK STRONGIn a remarkable match, America's Team narrowly defeated Aries and Strong for a shot at the #1 contenders' position! The teams traded moves and tags throughout the early portions of the match, until Aries and Strong teamed up to deliver a stunning Dropkick Bomb to Styles. A.J. managed to kick out, but Aries stayed on him and drilled him with the 450 splash. Strong cut off Atlas, preventing the pin save, but A.J. miraculously kicked out and the match continued. Styles finally made the hot tag to Atlas, who caught Roderick in a powerful full nelson. Strong fought to inch toward the ropes, but appeared on the verge of giving it up as he weakened. Aries finally made his move, but Atlas caught him coming in and delivered a blistering double noggin-knocker to send both men sprawling! Strong was easy pickings at this point, and Atlas covered him for the pin. Daytondave: Who knew? I never gave Atlas much credit for being bright, and he is certainly no threat to that really smart guy in the wheelchair. But tonight, he was on his toes and managed to overpower both Aries and Strong to lead his team to victory. America's Team will face the NEW AGE OUTLAWS for the number one contender's spot- and after what the Outlaws went through on Adrenaline earlier this week, you would have to believe A.J. and Atlas would be the favorites to garner the title match. HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: QUALIFYING MATCHJESSE "THE BODY" VENTURA (w/ MELINA) pinned MARK BRISCOEThe Body was all man and a yard wide tonight, taking Briscoe's best shots and coming back for more. After surviving a springboard dropkick and an Exploder, Jesse called on Melina to reverse the tide of the match. Melina put herself in harm's way, climbing to the ring apron, where Mark inadvertently knocked her to the floor. Ventura took advantage of the distraction, lifting Briscoe high into the air and slamming him down hard. The Body turned on the power game at that point, dominating Mark with a paralyzing bear hug, then delivering a crushing piledriver to finish him off. Daytondave: What a display of power by Ventura! He is off to a great start in 2008 after a disappointing beginning to his Heartland career. He moves on to face THE ROCK in a number one contenders' match for a shot at the Heartland title! Now, it is time for the main event. Christy, tell us about our final contest! Christy: This match is crucial in the Heartland rankings, Daytondave. For one thing, the Midwest Heavyweight Championship is on the line! Not only that, but the winner of tonight's match will go on to face TOMMY ROGERS for the chance to face NWA World Champion BRET HART on February 1 at Friday Night Fury. So, let's head to the ring for a showdown between two of the hottest wrestlers in the Heartland as BARRY WINDHAM is set to challenge BATISTA!MAIN EVENT: MIDWEST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPBATISTA (w/ MELINA) pinned BARRY WINDHAM to retain the title! After a highly competitive opening to the match, Batista caught Windham out of nowhere, dropping him with a stun gun off the ropes! As Windham staggered to his feet, Batista slammed into him with a spear. Before Barry could recover, Batista hoisted him up for the Batista Bomb to wrap up a decisive victory. Daytondave: Wow! The call Batista the "Animal", and it is obvious why that moniker fits. He just destroyed a very capable opponent, and made it look easy. I would hate to be BRET HART right now, because you better believe Batista is gunning for another run with the NWA World Title. But Batista still must get past TOMMY ROGERS to earn his shot at the Hitman. We'll see Batista and Rogers in our main event next Monday night at Adrenaline! Also on that card, we'll see the latest in the battle between the Horsemen and the Texas Mavericks as TULLY BLANCHARD squares off against WAHOO McDANIEL in what promises to be another intense battle. So make sure to join us Monday from Findlay, Ohio for more great Heartland action! Until then, fans, that's our show and I AM OUTTA HERE!cotg.proboards12.com/index.cgi?board=lowcards&action=display&thread=1160019897

NWA Heartland Card #112 Sky Bank Arena, Findlay, Ohio January 28, 2008 The show opens with COMMISSIONER DAYTONDAVE in the ring, accompanied by CHRISTY HEMME. Daytondave is dressed to the nines in a Louis Copeland navy pinstripe suit and Duchamp tie. Christy holds a large trophy, displaying it on all sides of the ring as Daytondave takes the microphone.Daytondave: Hey, fans, welcome to Monday Night Adrenaline! NWA Heartland is coming back at you from Findlay, Ohio with an extra-special night of action. In tonight's main event, we will learn the identity of the man who will face BRET "HITMAN" HART for the NWA World Championship! Heavily favored BATISTA, a former world champion in his own right, will take on upstart TOMMY ROGERS for the spot in Friday night's title match! But before we get to the NWA Title situation, Christy, tell us about the trophy! Christy: Thanks, Boss! Tonight's opening match is the finals of the Moolah Memorial! These ladies have gone through a grueling tournament, and tonight's winner will receive this beautiful trophy. Better yet, the trophy will be presented by none other than our own Heartland Heavyweight Champion, the "NATURE BOY" RIC FLAIR!Daytondave: Outstanding! Great job, Christy, you have outdone yourself this time. You have put together a magnificent tournament. Now, let's see the finals! (Tonight's referee: Danny Davis)DIVA DIVISION TOURNAMENT: CHAMPIONSHIP MATCHMsCHIF pinned MELINAIn a marathon championship match, Melina battled against major odds, surviving a furious onslaught from MsChif before succumbing to the Desecrater. MsChif took control from the opening bell, pounding away at Melina and hurling her out of the ring. As Melina crawled back into the ring, MsChif sprayed her with the green mist, again keeping her move insulated from referee Danny Davis. Melina was helpless and MsChif pounded away at her, repeatedly executing the Code Green. But Melina gamely fought back, kicking out and finally managing to rally. Melina put MsChif through the paces, nearly foring her to tap out to a rear naked choke and following with a vicious leg drop on the ropes to send MsChif tumbling out of the ring. Melina went to the air, but MsChif tossed a steel chair into her path, striking Melina in the face and stunning her. MsChif immediately went to the Desecrater and it was all over. As MsChif celebrates her victory, green and black streamers fall from the rafters! MsChif's trainer, DELIRIOUS, sprints to the ring with tag team partner TAKESHI MORISHIMA. Morishima hoists MsChif onto his shoulders as the crowds cheers. The music from "2001: A Space Odyssey" plays overhead and "NATURE BOY" RIC FLAIR struts to the ring. Nature Boy is wearing an Armani suit and has the Heartland Heavyweight championship belt strapped around his waist. TRACI BROOKS accompanies Flair, and he holds the ropes for her as they enter the ring together. Daytondave hands Flair the microphone.Flair: Woooo! Daytondave, you are stylin' and profilin' tonight, my man! It is a rare man indeed who can impress the Nature Boy! As your Heartland Heavyweight Champion, it is my privilege tonight to present the Moolah Memorial Trophy to the winner of tonight's Diva's tournament. MsChif, I gotta hand it to ya- you are out there, to be sure, but you can get the job done in that ring. Congratulations for your victory tonight! I hope that you and Goofy and Porky Pig enjoy the celebration tonight! And Melina, congratulations for making the finals, and for once again being second best. Flair hands MsChif the trophy as Morishima glares and Delirious babbles incoherently. Traci gives Melina a smirk as she takes Flair's arm. Without warning, the sound of glass breaking fills the arena! The music of STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN plays, and Austin himself appears at the top of the ramp! Stone Cold strides arrogantly to the ring, carrying a microphone.Daytondave: Austin! You piece of trailer trash! Get your ass out of MY arena! Austin smirks at Daytondave and raises his arm as if to backhand him. Daytondave backs off and pulls Christy Hemme with him.Austin: That's right, Mr. Commissioner, you metrosexual, middle-aged, mamby-pamby, mealy-mouthed meathead! You better step aside while Stone Cold takes care of some business- MAN to MAN. I came here tonight, to the Heartland, to Findlay, Ohio- hell, this looks more like an armpit than a Heartland- and the only reason I am here is to come face-to-face with this here pretty boy Ric Flair! So, I am sorry that I had to interrupt your little party, your celebration for these fighting floosies you got here, but Flair, you and me need to talk. Actually, I need to talk, and you need to listen. You were a hell of a wrestler back in the days before electricity, and now all that's left of your sorry ass is to come to this little podunk, nothing-happening Heartland federation and wear that cheap tin can title belt, and then you wanna come to Tradition and run your mouth? Flair: Austin! Watch your mouth! The Heartland Title has been around the waist of some of the finest athletes in this business. BRET HART! SAMOA JOE! STING! All of them went on to become world champions! And you? You're nothing but a foul-mouthed, ignorant, beer-swilling redneck. You don't have the ability, or the determination, or the self-discipline of a champion. And still, that idiot ROB BENNETT wants to make YOU the poster boy for his federation? Tradition, MY ASS! The TRUE Tradition in the NWA is right here in the Heartland! The longest running, most successful, and classiest territory in this business. When YOU achieve one iota of the success that Ric Flair has accomplished in this business, maybe then you can get in my face. Rob Bennett? He is not worthy to carry Daytondave's briefcase! Woooooo! Austin: I got news for you, Nature Boy. I am in your face already! I got something for your face right here! Austin extends both middle fingers in the face of the Nature Boy. Flair slaps his hands away. With lightning quickness, Austin kicks Flair in the gut, and drops him with the Stone Cold Stunner! Immediately, ARN ANDERSON and TULLY BLANCHARD dash to the ring. As Austin sees them coming, he slides out of the ring with a smirk on his face, laughing at the Horsemen as Traci Brooks kneels over the stunned Flair and helps. Austin stomps out of the arena, smirking, and lifting both middle fingers to the Findlay crowd before departing.Daytondave: What a loser! I can't believe Bennett would send that pathetic SOB in here to cheap shot my champion. Tradition, you had better believe there will be hell to pay for this! Now let's get to some first-rate Heartland wrestling action. TERRY GORDY pinned SHAWN MICHAELSAnother very compelling match opened the men's portion of the card as Gordy and Michaels went to war. Gordy's power controlled the opening stages of the bout as he turned Michaels inside out with a lariat. Gordy proceeded to lay a beatdown on Michaels, but Shawn executed several reversals to keep Gordy off-balance and stay out of a pinning predicament. Shawn finally saw his opening, springing off the ropes and levelling Gordy with a fliying forearm. Michaels went to the air and nearly caught a pin after a top rope elbow, but Gordy kicked out at two and fled the ring. Michaels pursued Gordy, but Bam Bam caught him and slammed his head to the steel ring steps. Michaels was on dream street when Gordy pitched him back into the ring and finished him with the Asiatic Spike. Daytondave: Gordy just mauled HBK in that match. I am amazed that Michaels lasted as long as he did. A. J. STYLES pinned THE MOUNTIEIn contrast to the first two matches, the debut of the Mountie was brief and inconspicuous. Dropkick, springboard forearm, Styles Clash, 1-2-3! Daytondave: That was quite an arrival... The Mountie always gets his man... right? AUSTIN ARIES defeated ROCKY JOHNSON by submissionAries looked sharp in defeating Rocky Johnson. After a slick escape from a Boston Crab, Aries caught Johnson with a small package off the ropes for a two-count, then rolled him into the Rings of Saturn to force the submission. Daytondave: Very well done! Aries is an outstanding technician in that ring, and he sure put Rocky through the paces tonight. Christy: Boss! There's a fight going on backstage! I sent a camera back there- should we cut to the action? The scene shifts backstage, where BOBO BRAZIL is pummeling ROAD WARRIOR HAWK. Hawk is trapped against the wall in a hallway, as Bobo pounds away at his gut with lefts and rights. Hawk takes a pounding, then explodes on Brazil with a powerful clothesline and walks away defiantly as he and Animal head to the ring!THE ROAD WARRIORS defeated THE ROCK & BOBO BRAZILAfter Bobo's prematch attack, the running buddies managed to isolate Hawk and keep him on the defensive. But Hawk endured The People's Elbow, the Coco Butt, and the Rock Bottom, finally powering out and tagging in Animal. Animal went to town on both the Runnin' Buddies, finally getting Bobo up for a spike piledriver assisted by a rejuvenated Hawk. The Warriors delivered the Doomsday Device to Bobo, but Rock broke up the pinfall. Unfazed, the Roadies put Rock up for the Doomsday device and the pinfall. Daytondave: The Road Warriors are on the warpath, fans. They just ran through a very tough team in the Running Buddies! After dropping the World Tag Titles, they enter the Heartland at the bottom of the ladder, but you can bet they will be stepping on anyone who crosses their path in their quest to return to glory. Even a Pearl Harbor job by Bobo Brazil was not enough to slow down the Warriors tonight. GRUDGE MATCH: NO DISQUALIFICATIONTULLY BLANCHARD (w/ TRACI BROOKS) pinned WAHOO McDANIELThe war between the Horsemen and the Mavericks continued with another chapter in Findlay as Wahoo and Tully threw down! Wahoo came out on fire, chopping and punching Tully inside the ring and out! Even Traci's attempted grab of the ankle could not slow down the Chief. Traci finally sacrificed herself, throwing herself in front of Tully on the ring floor and ending up on the receiving end of a Tomahawk Chop. Wahoo appeared shaken, but Tully kept on the attack, nailing McDaniel with a flying knee to the back and sending him careening to the security rail. Blanchard's cruelty kicked into high gear as he laid waste to the Chief with a loaded fist, and piledrove him on the arena floor. Tully casually tossed Wahoo back into the ring and added a Slingshot Suplex to finish the match. Following the piledriver, BARRY WINDHAM sprinted to the ring. He was not able to prevent the pin, but he immediately climbed into the ring after the decision, preventing any further violence against the fallen McDaniel. Blanchard quickly retreated, helping Traci to her feet, and smirking back at Wahoo as they left the ring together.Daytondave: What a performance by Blanchard! Traci took one for the team in that match, and it paid off for the Horsemen. They are clicking on all cylinders now as we head to the main event. BATISTA is in line for a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship, and he is heavily favored to overcome TOMMY ROGERS to earn a return match for the title. MAIN EVENT: NWA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH ON THE LINETOMMY ROGERS (w/ DAFFNEY) defeated BATISTA (w/ MELINA) by disqualificationChaos in the main event! As expected, Batista dominated Tommy Rogers, overpowering him early and beginning a methodical beatdown. With each power move, Daffney shrieked, getting louder and more agitated as the match progressed. Melina began taunting Daffney, and soon, Melina was also shrieking and squealing for her man. Infuriated, Daffney moved around the ring to Melina's side and directed a loud scream at the Latina vixen! Melina shrieked back at Daffney, and Daffney slapped her. The two ladies began an impromptu brawl at ringside. After Melina shoved Daffney against the ring apron, Daffney slithered into the ring, and Melina followed. Daffney bounced off the ropes, and Melina spun around with a high back kick. Daffney smartly ducked, and Melina's kick levelled Tommy Rogers! Already groggy from the beating by Batista, Rogers went down like a shot, and Danny Davis was forced to call for the disqualification. Following the decision, Batista went berserk! He hoisted Rogers up high overhead and slammed him down hard to the canvas with a thunderous Batista Bomb! But before Batista could do any further damage, Daffney jumped onto Batista's back and viciously raked her nails across his eyes. Batista went to one knee, holding his eyes, as Daffney pummelled his massive back with both fists. This drew the ire of Melina, who tackled Daffney, sending both ladies tumbling under the bottom rope and down to the arena floor. Danny Davis followed quickly, pulling the ladies apart after a brief fracas. As the ladies brawled, ARN ANDERSON and TULLY BLANCHARD marched to ringside. Blanchard picked up Rogers from the mat and casually tossed him through the ropes and out of the ring as Anderson took the microphone.Anderson: Listen up, Batista. Tonight was an opportunity for the Horsemen to return to greatness. The World Heavyweight Championship is on the line, and your little Mexican hoochie cost you the match, and she cost the Horsemen our golden opportunity. Batista: Relax, Double A. Tonight was a momentary setback. We have worked through our differences before, and we will again. Anderson: Differences? I don't think so. This issue is not about differences. This issue is about loyalties. When you run with the Horsemen, you run 24/7, partner. Horsemen business is the first order of the day. A true Horseman would never let a woman stand in the way of the path to glory. Batista: Loyalty? Who took out DUSTY RHODES? Have you forgotten how Rhodes beat you down and left you laying, Anderson? Have you forgotten how the "Animal" put it all on the line against Rhodes, and how I left him bleeding in the center of the ring? I have given my body and my soul for the Horsemen, and I have accomplished things that no other member of the family was able to. Melina slides back into the ring, her hair strewn wildly and soaked with sweat, still gasping as she takes the microphone from Batista.Melina: You listen to me, Arn Anderson. You don't come out here so high and mighty and get into Batista's business. My man pours out his heart in the ring every night for you and your Horsemen, and all you can do is use him for your dirty jobs and talk down on him. Batista, baby, you don't need to be treated like that. Did you hear how Ric Flair disrespected Melina tonight? David, you are better than this. Anderson: There you go again, Batista. Letting your woman talk when she should keep her mouth shut. That woman is your weakness, big man, and it is time that you cut her loose- for the Horsemen. So what's it gonna be, David? The Horsemen... or the hoochie? Batista pauses, glaring at Anderson as he ponders his options. Without a word, he puts his arm around Melina. Together, Batista and Melina walk between Anderson and Blanchard and exit the ring. Arn and Tully both move aside as the intimidating figure of Batista passes. Both appear stunned as Batista holds open the ropes to assist Melina out of the ring, then walks arm-in-arm with her up the ramp.Anderson: Batista- you musclebound idiot- you're FIRED!Batista does not respond as he and Melina reach the top of the ramp and disappear through the curtain.Daytondave pauses as the scene shifts to his broadcast position. He appears stunned as the crowd responds with deafening silence to Batista's departure.Daytondave: Wow. Batista just walked out on the Horsemen! Fans, I am shocked. What a perplexing end to a terrific night of action. But let's remember- the forgotten man in this scene, TOMMY ROGERS, comes away tonight with a World Championship match this Friday night at Fury! Be sure to join us from the University of Dayton Arena for another great card as Rogers attempts to dethrone BRET HART and capture the greatest prize in the business! We'll also see the number one contenders' match for the Heartland Tag Team Championship, as AMERICA'S TEAM, A.J. STYLES and TONY ATLAS, square off against the NEW AGE OUTLAWS. Until then, fans, that's our show and I AM OUTTA HERE!cotg.proboards12.com/index.cgi?board=lowcards&action=display&thread=1160019897

NWA Heartland Card #113 University of Dayton Arena, Dayton, Ohio February 1, 2008 COMMISSIONER DAYTONDAVE enters the ring in a Zanetti Classic taupe double-breasted virgin wool suit with a yellow tie. He is accompanied by CHRISTY HEMME, dressed in black and pulsating in time to the tune "Paradise City".Daytondave: You gotta love that! Hey, fans, welcome to Friday Night Fury from the University of Dayton Arena. We have an awesome show planned for tonight, complete with an NWA World Championship match! BRET :THE HITMAN" HART is on hand tonight to defend his title against the surprise winner of the #1 Contender position, TOMMY ROGERS! We will also have the debut of Heartland's newest superstar, and the return of another outstanding competitor to the territory. Let's head to the ring for our opening contest! (Tonight's referee: Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz)NIGEL McGUINESS pinned WAHOO McDANIELWahoo did a very poor job scouting Nigel, as the Chief insisted upon repeatedly hurling McGuiness to the turnbuckle. In keeping with his expertise around the buckles, the crafty McGuiness nailed Wahoo with a reverse atomic drop off the turnbuckle, then planted him with a powerful DDT to score a victory. Daytondave: I guess McDaniel is still a little banged up after Monday's match against TULLY BLANCHARD. If he had done his homework, he would have known that nobody can outduel Nigel McGuiness in using the ring and the turnbuckles to his advantage. Better luck next time, Chief! CHRIS HERO pinned BOBO BRAZILIn a successful return to Heartland action, Chris Hero surprised Bobo Brazil, tying him up in a cravate and quickly dropping him with the Hero's Welcome. Hero captured the three-count, and Bobo got off the canvas as if he had no idea what hit him. Brazil's tag team partner, THE ROCK, came to the top of the ring ramp and appeared to be laughing after Brazil suffered the defeat. Daytondave: How about that? It seems like fate is favoring the young bucks here tonight- first McGuiness, and now Hero have proven themselves against formidable veteran competition. In Bobo's defense, he was a last-minute replacement for TONY ATLAS, who begged off of this match in preparation for tonight's Tag Team #1 contenders' match. DUSTY RHODES & BARRY WINDHAM defeated THE IRISH AIRBORNE (DAVE & JAKE CRIST w/ MELINA)With D1CK MURDOCH on the shelf, Dusty called on his new ally Windham for tonight's tag match. The Airborne were undersized and overmatched from the opening bell. Windham dominated Jake and dropped him hard with a hanging vertical suplex. Melina was able to briefly turn the tide for her team, nailing Windham with a low blow. But Windham tagged in Dusty, who went to work on Dave Crist and overpowered him with a running lariat for the pinfall. Daytondave: It's been a rough week for Melina! She loses the Moolah Memorial, and gets BATISTA kicked out of the Horsemen. Now she sees her "pet project" get embarassed here at Adrenaline! With all the great tag teams who have entered the Heartland, the Airborne are clearly in over their heads. Melina had really better get her focus back, or she is gonna get those poor kids killed. And now, fans, here in the Heartland we spare no expense to provide you with the best entertainment that the industry has to offer. We have brought in one of the top stars in the wrestling world to the Heartland, but before we see him in the ring, let's get a few words from the Heartland's newest superstar! The tune "Medal" plays on the speaker and KURT ANGLE appears at the top of the ramp. Angle is dressed in his red, white, and blue singlet and wearing his gold medal. He stops at the broadcast table, where Daytondave hands him a microphone.Angle: Ladies and gentlemen, it is an honor and a privilege to be here in the Heartland! The only Olympic Gold medalist in professional wrestling history has signed on to the hottest territory in the business. I have come here for one reason, and one reason only- RIC FLAIR! Ric Flair is the dirtiest player in the game. He lacks integrity. He lacks respect for this great sport. The minute that Flair won the Heartland Heavyweight Championship, I made a commitment- to myself, to you, the fans, and to the sport of professional wrestling- to stand face to face, toe to toe, man to man, with Ric Flair in this VERY ring! Ric Flair, I am calling you out! Are you man enough to step in the ring with the greatest wrestler in the history of this sport? Angle hands the microphone back to Daytondave and climbs into the ring to prepare for his match.KURT ANGLE pinned TAKESHI MORISHIMAAngle's opening match in the Heartland was a technical classic! Angle and Morishima battled with a variety of suplexes, dropping each other around the ring frequently. The power of Morishima prevailed in the early stages, but Angle kicked out of the Saito Suplex twice, then rebounded off the turnbuckle with a dropkick to take out Morishima's right knee. Angle went right to work on the injured joint, wounding the knee further with a spinning leg lariat and torturing Morishima with the Ankle Lock. Morishima made the ropes, forcing a break, but was unable to regain the momentum of the match. After a series of rolling German suplexes, Angle hoisted the 300-pounder overhead for an Angle Slam and captured the victory. After the decision, Angle helped Morishima to his feet and the giant Japanese embraced him, and raised Angle's hand in victory.Daytondave: Impressive! Angle has made an immediate impact his very first night here in the Heartland. He threw down the gauntlet for RIC FLAIR, and had the guts to question the Nature Boy's integrity and his ability! Then, to top things off, the gold medal winner comes to the ring and puts on a wrestling clinic against the giant Morishima. It's a new day in the Heartland, fans! I haven't felt this much passion in the air since STING was at his peak. And it only gets better from here- it's time for our number one contenders' match for the Heartland Tag Team Titles! AMERICA'S TEAM will take on the NEW AGE OUTLAWS. Strangely enough, after that crazy night in Delaware, Ohio last week, BOTH the Outlaws came away with broken noses! Christy, show us the video from that action as Atlas and Styles head to the ring. Christy: Of course, Boss. Your wish is my command! The video plays of the qualifying match between the Outlaws and the BRISCOE BROTHERS. Jay Briscoe delivers a superkick which nails KIP JAMES squarely in the face! Kip is seen bleeding profusely from the nose at the conclusion of the match. The scene shifts later in the card, as another brawl with the Briscoes takes place. BG JAMES escalated the violence against Mark, coming at him with a steel chair! Mark ducked the wild chair shot, responding with a kick to the stomach. BG dropped the chair, and Mark immediately grabbed BG by the neck and dropped him facefirst with a crushing DDT onto the chair!
The scene returns to the UD Arena as the Outlaws head to the ring. Both Kip and BG are wearing plastic masks! After careful inspection, Joe Kopasz instructs the Outlaws to remove the masks before the match. Reluctantly, the Outlaws comply and kopasz signals for the match to begin.NWA HEARTLAND TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: #1 CONTENDERS' MATCH
THE NEW AGE OUTLAWS defeated AMERICA'S TEAM (A.J. STYLES & TONY ATLAS) by countoutThe Outlaws were battered and bruised coming into the match, but they came in with a game plan and executed it to perfection. BG blindsided Styles before the opening bell, giving his team the early advantage. After absorbing some punishment, AJ managed to tag out to Atlas. Atlas played right into the hands of the Outlaws, who cut off the ring and isolated big Tony. Using several very effective double-team manuvers, the Outlaws wore down Atlas severely before he managed to kick out of the Fame-Asser and bring Styles back into the match. Styles entered with a flurry, taking over on both Outlaws. Styles drilled BG with a Pele kick for a near-fall, the plastered Kip with a slingshot plancha which electrified the Dayton fans! But the James boys kept their poise, tagging often enough to stay fresh as AJ began to get winded. The Outlaws finally saw their opportunity and crushed AJ with a Spike Piledriver, but Atlas made the save and soon all four men were in the ring brawling! Action spilled outside, and the powerful Kip got AJ up for a thunderous powerbomb on the arena floor! Atlas was engaged in a brawl with BG, so Kip slid back into the ring and beat the 10-count from Joe Kopasz before Styles could recover. After the decision, Atlas continued to pound away at BG, but Kip quickly stepped between them and pulled BG away from the fracas. The Outlaws quickly exited from the ring area, celebrating the crafty victory as a frustrated At;as helped AJ back to his feet.Daytondave: Amazing! What a contrast of matches we have just seen. Two very intense and competitive contests, even though one was a knockdown, dragout brawl and the other was a scientific classic. The Outlaws will advance to a Tag Team Title match against their bitter rivals, DELIRIOUS and TAKESHI MORISHIMA, collective known as TEAM TSUNAMI, and also known as your reigning Heartland Tag Team Champions. What a rematch that will be! But now, it's time for our NWA World Heavyweight Championship Match! Can TOMMY ROGERS dethrone BRET HART? Hard to say. Tommy has been the underdog before, but he surprised RIC FLAIR and he survived BATISTA, so tonight anything can happen! MAIN EVENT: NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
BRET "HITMAN" HART defeated TOMMY ROGERS by countout to retain the NWA World Championship! The "Rocket" put up a much more competitive match than expected, but the champion Hart finally prevailed in a lengthy struggle. Hart dominated much of the action, pounding away at Rogers with backbreakers and bulldogs. After catching a near fall with a second rope elbow drop, Hart rolled Rogers into a Sharpshooter and it appeared to be all over. But Rogers gutted it out, working through the pain and finally reaching the bottom rope! Hart wasn't finished, shoving Rogers to the arena floor and then ramming his wounded back against the ring apron. Hart returned to the ring at the urging of Joe Kopasz, but Rogers was unable to meet the ten-count and Hart picked up the victory. Daytondave: Well, fans, I gotta hand it to Tommy Rogers. He hung in much longer than anyone expected, but in the end the result was still the same. Bret Hart remains the NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Best wishes to the Hitman as he heads back out on the road to continue defending his title around the country, and now the World! Fans, thank you for joining us tonight! We'll be back on Monday night with another action-packed episode of Adrenaline. Until then, fans, that's our show and I AM OUTTA HERE!cotg.proboards12.com/index.cgi?board=lowcards&action=display&thread=1160019897

NWA Heartland Card #114 Hinkle Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, Indiana February 4, 2008 COMMISSIONER DAYTONDAVE and CHRISTY HEMME open the show in the center of the ring. Daytondave is decked out in a classy, yet traditional Ermenegildo Zegna pinstriped suit and holding a microphone.Daytondave: Hey, fans, welcome to Monday Night Adrenaline! Daytondave and the NWA Heartland wrestling federation coming back at you with another exciting night of action! Things in the Heartland continue to heat up! Tonight, our main event will be a #1 contenders' match for the Heartland Heavyweight Title, pitting THE ROCK against JESSE "THE BODY" VENTURA! A title match against the "NATURE BOY" RIC FLAIR hangs in the balance. The Nature Boy has the night off tonight, since he has been trotting around NWA Tradition and beating down STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN at every opportunity, but you can bet that Mr. Flair- and the Horsemen, will be watching tonight's match with great interest! Now, let's head to the ring for tonight's opening match-up! (Tonight's referee: Joe Kopasz)SHAWN MICHAELS pinned ROCKY JOHNSONThe opening bout was all Michaels! HBK exploded off the ropes with a flying forearm, sending Johnson tumbling out of the ring. Michaels dove to the floor with a suicide tope, resulting in a massive collision which stunned Rocky. Johnson crawled back into the ring, and Michaels launched himself onto his foe with a beautifully executed Moonsault Bodypress! Rocky was down for the count as Kopasz completed the three-count. Daytondave: Another brilliant match for the Heartbreak Kid. He has had a great career, but since his return to the Heartland he has been one of the most inconsistent performers we have seen. He will get beaten by lesser talents, then the next time out he will look unstoppable. Go figure! THE IRISH AIRBORNE (JAKE & DAVE CRIST w/ MELINA) battled THE BRISCOE BROTHERS (w/ SARA DEL REY) to a double countoutAfter losing their connection to the HORSEMEN, the Airborne fought with a desperate fury. Jake flew like a maniac, crushing Jay with a suicide tope, but Mark took his revenge with a pair of cut-throat drivers on Dave. Jake interrupted the count, but then Mark sent Dave to the ropes with an Irish Whip, leading to a collision with Melina and another rollup! Jake immediately broke up the pin with a legdrop across the back of Mark's neck. This brought Jay into the ring, and the four-man brawl was on! All four brothers hurled themselves around the ring with abandon, and Joe Kopasz was unable to regain control. Kopasz threw the match out, calling for a double-disqualification. Following the decision, the brawl continued! Soon the NEW AGE OUTLAWS entered the fray, still wearing their protective masks! All six men brawled, and none appeared to be taking sides. After a brief but intense confrontation, cooler heads prevailed and Joe Kopasz managed to restore order and get the combatants back to the locker room.Daytondave: The bad blood between the Outlaws and the Briscoes continues, while the Airborne are fighting merely to survive in the shark tank that is the Heartland tag team division. I have to say, that the Outlaws have never looked better- behind those masks. (Christy giggles.)AUSTIN ARIES pinned NIGEL McGUINESSIn a highly competitive bout between two very evenly matched competitors, Aries survived the Guvnor's Crumpet three times, then mounted an incredible comeback. After Nigel kicked out of a 450 Splash, Aries crushed him with a brainbuster to earn the victory. Daytondave: How about that? Looks like there is more than one shark tank around here. Aries made an incredible comeback in that match. More than once he appeared to be done for, but Nigel couldn't finish him off and it cost him in the end. Kudos to both competitors for an outstanding matchup! NO DISQUALIFICATION GRUDGE MATCH
DUSTY RHODES & BARRY WINDHAM defeated ARN ANDERSON & TULLY BLANCHARD (w/ TRACI BROOKS)This match turned out to be another vicious brawl in the ongoing war between the Horsemen and the Texas Mavericks. Barry Windham started the match quickly, taking down Blanchard with a vertical suplex, and delivering a crushing Running Lariat. Blanchard came back, wearing down Windham with grueling wrestling moves and tagging in Anderson. Windham tagged out to Rhodes, and perhaps the fiercest rivalry between these factions boiled over into an intense battle of wills. Anderson took control initially, raking Rhodes across the eyes with his boot laces, opening the door for the crafty Enforcer to go to work on Dusty's left shoulder. Double A was a ruthless tactician, breaking down the Dream with a series of hammerlock body slams. When Rhodes finally managed to tag Windham back into the match, Barry caught fire, levelling both Horsemen with clotheslines and catching a near fall on Blanchard after a Superplex. Traci Brooks intervened, saving her man by shrieking at Windham, distracting him long enough to allow Tully to reach into his trunks and wrap a small chain around his fist. Blanchard nailed Barry with a vicious punch, and Windham rolled out of the ring. When Tully pursued him, Windham blocked his attempt to slam his head to the steel steps, reversing the move and smashing Tully's forehead onto the hard stairs. As Rhodes and Anderson brawled, Tully paid a visit to La-La Land, and Windham pinned him easily after a bulldog. Daytondave: Windham is a stud, pure and simple. He has become the driving force in this feud, and the Horsemen are floundering without BATISTA. And to make matters worse, we are about to determine the next challenger to Flair and the Heartland Heavyweight Championship. Let's go to the main event! MAIN EVENT: NWA HEARTLAND #1 CONTENDERS' MATCH
THE ROCK pinned JESSE "THE BODY" VENTURA (w/ MELINA) to earn a shot at the Heartland Heavyweight Championship! The most important match of the evening was also the most lopsided, as the Rock dismantled Jesse Ventura to gain a title match. Rock caught Ventura with a thunderous right hand at the opening bell, and immediately laid the smack down. A series of leaping clotheslines took the starch out of Ventura, allowing Rock to wrap him up in the Sharpshooter. Rock tortured Ventura with the hold, and as Ventura reached the bottom rope, Rock immediately dragged him back to the center of the ring and prolonged the agony. Melina did her best to serve as a distraction, momentarily diverting the Rock, who dropped the Sharpshooter and threatened to backhand Melina. Melina scampered away with a shriek, but Ventura was too worn down to capitalize. Ventura had barely made it to his feet at that point, and Rock immediately dropped him with a DDT and covered him for the victory. Daytondave: What a match for the Rock! He completely dominated Ventura and is now gearing up to challenge Flair for the belt! The Nature Boy has everything to lose in this match. Rock has momentum, and the Nature Boy is dealing with an angry BATISTA, a determined KURT ANGLE, and the TEXAS MAVERICKS all coming at him from different directions. How will the Horsemen survive? Stay tuned, fans, this is the Heartland, where the action never stops! We'll be back on Friday night with the next installment of Fury, and a great card is on tap. TULLY BLANCHARD will be in singles competition. BARRY WINDHAM will take on RANDY ORTON! And in the main event, BATISTA will defend the Midwest Heavyweight Championship against A.J. STYLES! We'll see you Friday night from South Bend, Indiana. Until then, fans, that's our show and I AM OUTTA HERE!cotg.proboards12.com/index.cgi?board=lowcards&action=display&thread=1160019897

NWA Heartland Card #115 Joyce Center, South Bend, Indiana February 8, 2008 COMMISSIONER DAYTONDAVE and CHRISTY HEMME open the show in the center of the ring. Daytondave is decked out in a classy, yet traditional Ermenegildo Zegna pinstriped suit and holding a microphone.Daytondave: Hey, fans, welcome back to Paradise City! NWA Heartland is coming back at ya with another great night of wrestling action. We have a double feature main event tonight! The challenge has been made, and CHEERLEADER MELISSA wants another piece of SARA DEL REY, so tonight we will make it happen! Here in the Heartland, we deliver. And in our main event, the Midwest Heavyweight Championship will be on the line as BATISTA defends his belt against "THE PHENOMENAL" A. J. STYLES! But before we get started with tonight's action, the lovely and talented Christy Hemme will be hosting a special interview segment with the man who seems to be in the center of every controversy in the Heartland- our own Heavyweight Champion, "NATURE BOY" RIC FLAIR!The music from 2001: A Space Odyssey plays overhead as Flair struts down the aisle with TRACI BROOKS on his arm. Flair is wearing a black suit and sunglasses. He holds the ropes for Traci, then stops to ogle Christy, who giggles as she hands Flair the microphone.Flair: WOOOO! South Bend, Indiana! Home of the Fighting Irish! The Nature Boy is here again, stylin' and profilin', on top of the world! Christy: But Nature Boy- how can you be so happy? You have so many issues to deal with- STEVE AUSTIN is after you... KURT ANGLE is after you... DUSTY RHODES is after you... and BATISTA is pretty upset, too! Flair: Oh, Christy... now don't you worry your pretty little head! You just take good care of your Commissioner and make sure he signs my paycheck! The Nature Boy has everything under control! Austin? That beer-swilling redneck is in over his head. TAZZ will take him out long before he rears his ugly bald head around the Heartland again. As for Heartland business? The Nature Boy has it under control. Batista's spot has already been filled! Christy: You have found another Horseman? Who is he? Flair: That's right, baby! There are studs and stallions from all around who are lining up to run with the Horsemen. The Heartland will find out soon enough who the Nature Boy has chosen. But now, it's time for The Nature Boy and sweet baby Traci to go out on the town. So sweetheart, why don't you and the Commish finish the show and come party with us? WOOOOOO! Before Christy can respond, Nature Boy struts around the ring again. He takes Christy in his arms and dips her low, then plants a kiss on her. He sweeps her off her feet and gently deposits her in the arms of Daytondave. The music hits, and Traci takes Ric by the arm and they depart together.Daytondave: Now Christy, there will be plenty of time for that later! We have a show to put on! But I can't wait to see who Flair has selected to join the Horsemen. Leave it to the Nature Boy to keep us all in suspense. Now, let's head to the ring! (Tonight's referee: Brady Boone)CHRIS HERO pinned JAY BRISCOE (w/ SARA DEL REY)Hero continued to wrestle at the peak of his game since his return to the Heartland. He got the best of Jay from the opening contest, using his fundamental skills to tie Briscoe up in knots. After a difficult escape from the Hangman Clutch II, Briscoe went to the ring floor with Hero in pursuit. In desperation, Sara came at Hero and levelled him with a Yakuza kick! Brady Boone immediately sent Sara back to the locker room, but did not call for the disqualification. Hero regained the momentum, finally crushing Jay with the Hero's Welcome to finish him off. Daytondave: Brady Boone lays down the law! Fans, THAT is how you officiate a wrestling match. Don't take nothing from nobody- especially a big brute like Sara Del Rey. Strong performance by Chris Hero- he continues to impress! RANDY ORTON pinned BARRY WINDHAMWhat was touted as a competitive contest between two evenly matched opponents turned into an old-fashioned butt-whoopin! Orton took control early in the match, taking Windham down with an elevated neckbreaker. His killer instinct took over, and Orton went to work in his methodical and sadistic fashion. Orton delivered a thunderous RKO and Windham went down like a shot. Not satisfied, Orton repeated the move THREE MORE TIMES before rolling Windham over and covering him for the three-count. After the decision, Windham lay out cold on the mat. As Orton left the ring area, he swiped Windham's trademark leather vest and cowboy hat! Smirking, Orton stopped at the top of the ramp and put Windham's hat on before departing through the curtain.Daytondave: You gotta be kidding me! This Orton is one brash character indeed! You mess with the hat, you mess with the cowboy, and you better believe that Windham is not gonna take this lying down. Or maybe he will- because that's the way Orton left him after that match. Could Orton be the next Horseman? He just took out one of Flair's top rivals. He's young. He's cocky. He has the attitude and he has the talent. And now, he has the hat and the vest of Barry Windham. What an interesting development here in South Bend! As Windham is helped to his feet, the Irishtron lights up and the face of STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN appears! Daytondave appears shocked as the Texas Rattlesnake holds a beer in one hand and a microphone in the other.Austin: Oh Heartland? Come out and play! That's right, you dumb sons of bitches, nobody puts Stone Cold Steve Austin out of commission. Not TAZZ, not the Pony Boys, not nobody. Flair, you overdressed girly man, you can't even keep your own act together. Your stupid shit-for-brains lieutenants fired the toughest guy on your operation, and now you think the world is supposed to be afraid of the newest Horseman? Think again, pretty boy. Am I supposed to be afraid of Randy Orton? That punk is the dumbest SOB ever to walk the planet. But of course, he would probably raise the average IQ of your stable of Horsemen. The only thing I know about stables is they have to be shoveled out every damn day. I guess that's why you keep that trailer trash TRACI BROOKS around. You don't see Stone Cold needing no floozy broads and you don't see Stone Cold needing no stable full of a bunch of Horse's Asses! So Flair, here's what I'm gonna do. When I decide the time is right, I'm gonna load my pickup truck full of Steveweisers, I'm gonna drive it right into your living room, and I'm gonna stomp a mud hole in your ass! And that's the bottom line, because STONE COLD SAID SO!Daytondave appears shocked as the Irishtron fades to black. TULLY BLANCHARD storms to ringside, still in street clothes, shouting and pointing at the screen. Blanchard takes the microphone.Blanchard: Austin! You stinkin' coward! You don't have the guts to show your face here again. You're lucky we didn't tear you limb from limb in South Carolina last night. Now I didn't come here tonight to talk, I came here to wrestle. And that's a shame for a nice young man named RODERICK STRONG, who happens to be my opponent tonight. Kid, this ain't personal, but tonight I am going to have to make an example out of you. Austin, watch closely while I show you a little something we like to call Horseman Justice- TEXAS DEATH MATCH style! Daytondave: Fans, Blanchard has just thrown out a stipulation for this match- a Texas Death match! And it looks like Strong is not backing down! He is dashing down the ramp, shaking his fists and telling Blanchard to bring it on. We're gonna have a Texas Death match! TEXAS DEATH MATCH
RODERICK STRONG pinned TULLY BLANCHARD (w/ TRACI BROOKS)A shocker in the impromptu Texas Death Match! Blanchard entered the match as cocky as ever, sneering even as Strong scowled and climbed into the ring. Tully pounded away at Roderick, but Strong managed to use his technical abilities to execute several counters and keep Blanchard off balance. Strong went to work on the lower back of Blanchard, weakening him with a ground-based attack and keeping the match at a slow pace for a long stretch. Blanchard finally managed to force the action to the arena floor, where he dominated with his toughness. Blanchard introduced a steel chair into the contest and punished Strong badly. Strong finally made it back to the ring, catching the charging Tully and flipping him over with a crushing tilt-a-whirl backbreaker! Traci came to the aid of Blanchard, but Roderick caught the onrushing Traci with a backdrop and flipped her to the mat! Traci rolled out of the ring, and Roderick manuvered the downed Blanchard into an agonizing Stronghold. Without Traci to intervene, Blanchard held out as long as he could, but finally was forced to tap out! After the match, the Irishtron lit up again and Austin reappeared.Austin: Blanchard, you dumb son of a bitch, even I can't believe that I just saw a so-called Texan tap out in a Texas Death match. Good job, son. Way to take care of business. Hey, Daytondave- what's that kid's name? Rod Stewart? Roddy McDowell? Juanita Broderrick? Hell, I don't care. Daytondave, I want to come to Adrenaline next Monday night and I wanna stomp a couple of mudholes in a couple of those Horsemen. Why don't you put me and Strongbad together in a tag team match against Blanchard and ARN ANDERSON- NO DISQUALIFICATION!Daytondave: Austin, you know I think you're an idiot and you're an embarassment to this business. But- this is a BUSINESS, no two ways about it! This match will draw ratings and the Championship Committee will be happy about that. You show up on Monday Night in Anderson, Indiana and you have yourself a tag match. The scene shifts backstage, where SARA DEL REY is preparing for her next encounter against CHEERLEADER MELISSA. As Sara exits the locker room, we see KIP JAMES hiding just outside the door, holding a Super Soaker. The locker room door opens and Kip sprays down Sara with ice cold water! Sara shrieks as Kip runs away. BG James is then seen across the hall, capturing the incident on video. Sara draws back her fist and BG high-tails it out of harm's way.CHEERLEADER MELISSA pinned SARA DEL REYSara came out soaking wet and furious after the sneak attack by the Outlaws, but Melissa took her to task in this rematch. After kicking out of the Royal Butterfly, Melissa roared back with a fury! Quick as a whistle, Melissa ducked a clothesline and wrapped Sara up for a German Suplex. Before Sara could recover, Melissa was on her and delivered a Kudo Driver vertebreaker and picked up the three-count! Daytondave: Who knew that Heartland wrestling was such a haven for comedians? Whatever works, I guess- the Outlaws' stunt may have thrown Sara off her game just enough for Melissa to capitalize. But now, fans, it is time to get serious- BATISTA is preparing to defend his Midwest Heavyweight Championship, and he is in no mood for hijinks. Let's go to the main event! MAIN EVENT: MIDWEST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPBATISTA (w/ MELINA) pinned A. J. STYLESStyles got off to a quick start, catching the big champ with a pair of springboard forearm strikes and planting him with the Styles Clash! Unfazed, Batista powered out of the pin attempt. A. J. went to the top rope, but Batista slammed him to the mat! The Animal followed up with a Batista Bomb and it was all over for A. J. Daytondave: A dominant victory for the Midwest Champion! Batista is not getting paid by the hour, and he made quick work of his challenger tonight. Fans, it has been a terrific night of action here at South Bend, Indiana for Friday Night Fury! Be sure and join us again on Monday night, where we'll be back at you with another episode of Adrenaline. The Heartland tag team titles will be on the line as TEAM TSUNAMI takes to the mat against the NEW AGE OUTLAWS. And of course, we just learned tonight that STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN will be in the ring as well- you won't want to miss it! Until then, fans, that's our show and I AM OUTTA HERE! cotg.proboards12.com/index.cgi?board=lowcards&action=display&thread=1160019897

NWA Heartland Card #116 Geater Community Center, Anderson, Indiana February 11, 2008 The show opens as COMMISSIONER DAYTONDAVE appears in the ring with CHRISTY HEMME. He is immaculately dressed in an Espresso Cross Wale Corduroy blazer and Joseph Abboud khaki slacks. The music, "Atomic Punk" by Van Halen blares as Daytondave watches Christy shimmy and gyrate around the ring.Daytondave: That's right, fans, it's NWA Heartland wrestling comin' back at ya with another episode of Monday Night Adrenaline from the sleepy little town of Anderson, Indiana. But believe me, fans, before the night is over this town will be smokin'! The Heartland Tag Team Titles are on the line tonight as TEAM TSUNAMI takes on the NEW AGE OUTLAWS! And in our surprise Main Event matchup, it will be ARN ANDERSON and TULLY BLANCHARD to take on our own RODERICK STRONG and the TEXAS RATTLESNAKE, STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN. We'll also see DUSTY RHODES in singles competition later tonight. Now, let's head to the ring for tonight's opening contest. (Tonight's referee: Heather Owens)WAHOO McDANIEL defeated MARK BRISCOE (w/ SARA DEL REY) by submissionThe rugged chief proved to be too much for Briscoe in the opening contest. Wahoo dominated most of the action after slamming Mark to the mat with a powerful spear. Wahoo connected with the Tomahawk Chop on two occasions, and it looked like curtains for Mark. Sara came to the ring apron, but McDaniel reversed a whip to the ropes and sent Briscoe crashing into his manager! Before Sara could regain her senses, Wahoo rolled Mark into a painful Boston Crab and forced him to tap out. Daytondave: An excellent match for Wahoo! He is showing himself well in this Mavericks-Horsemen situation. Fans, this is a little odd- Wahoo is asking for the microphone! Normally he is a man of action and not a big talker- but I am curious about what the Chief has on his mind. Wahoo: Fans of the Heartland, it has been my privilege to work with some of the greats of this sport- especially a man like DUSTY RHODES, who represents the sport of wrestling with dignity and class. Dusty has clearly seen what a pestilence has come over this territory with the likes of RIC FLAIR and the FOUR HORSEMEN. The cheating, the backstage politics, the double-teaming, the outside interference. I am proud to be a part of the TEXAS MAVERICKS and take a stand against these tactics! And I am just as proud to welcome back my fallen comrade- another man of honor who took his lumps on the field of battle. Please welcome back to the Heartland in his return from injury- D!CK MURDOCH!The fans applaud as Murdoch strides to the ring and takes the microphone.Murdoch: Thanks, Chief! Captain Redneck is back! That old scumbag ARN ANDERSON may have put me down for a spell, but he darn sure didn't put the Captain out! I am back and I am back to whoop some Horseman ass! Now it seems that Anderson and Blanchard already have their hands full tonight- so I figger, what the heck. I'm gonna go right to the top of the heap tonight. RIC FLAIR- I challenge you to get your pretty boy butt out here and come get your whoopin! The crowd cheers wildly as the music from 2001: A Space Odyssey hits and Flair appears at the top of the ramp.Flair: Well, if it isn't that dirty old redneck D!ck Murdoch. Like I have the time to put up with you, cowboy. Well let me say this- Ric Flair will NEVER back down from a challenge. You and me? Tonight? Your dumber than you look, Murdoch. You can barely walk, let alone walk that aisle and go to war with the Nature Boy. I accept your challenge. Tonight, Murdoch, is the night that I finish what Double A started- tonight is the night I take that crippled old broken down horse to pasture and put him out of his misery! WOOOOOO! Daytondave: Wow! There you have it, fans! Murdoch versus Flair, right here, tonight! Of course, this will be a non-title match-up, but later this evening Captain Redneck and the Nature Boy are gonna hook it up! BOBO BRAZIL defeated ARN ANDERSON by countoutThe fans in Anderson erupted for the popular Bobo Brazil as he entered the ring, waiting for his matchup with the Enforcer. But when Double A's music hit, there was no response! Daytondave: Christy! Get back there and find Arn Anderson! Christy dashes back to the locker room area as the camera follows. She bursts into the Horsemen locker room to find TULLY BLANCHARD out cold on the floor. Arn Anderson is nowhere to be found! Christy searches the locker room and finds only two empty beer cans next to Tully's unconscious body. Her eyes widen, and she dashes out to the parking garage. A black monster truck with a flaming skull insignia is seen peeling out of the parking garage. As the truck disappears from view, an arm emerges from the driver's side window with the middle finger extended!Daytondave: That stinkin' Texican! That stupid redneck is gonna be sorry he messed with the Heartland. Christy, call 911 and get that SOB arrested! That is the LAST time that Austin will show his face around this territory! Christy: Will do, boss. Daytondave angrily rips off his corduroy blazer and throws it to the floor, enraged. JACKIE MOORE quickly makes her way to the ring and attempts to calm the Commissioner down. Championship Committee member MIKE GOLIC comes to the ring and takes a seat at the announcer's table. Jackie takes Daytondave by the arm and leads him back to the dressing room area.Mike Golic: Fans, this is a completely shocking situation. I am no fan of the Horsemen, but you hate to see a situation get out of hand like this. Arn Anderson, as all the Horsemen, carry the pride of this territory as a badge of honor, and I think all the boys in the back are as upset as our Commissioner at the events that have taken place. But we do have a show to do tonight, and the boys are determined to bring out their best. Ironically enough, DUSTY RHODES is next on the card tonight, and Big Dust insisted that the match go on. So here we go! CHRISTOPHER DANIELS pinned DUSTY RHODESEven Dusty Rhodes was a bit preoccupied after the disappearance of Arn Anderson, and in the end it cost him. Daniels gave no quarter, stunning the Dream with a back elbow off the turnbuckle to take control of the match. Daniels levelled Dusty twice with the Angel's Wings to capture the pinfall. Golic: There you see it, fans- nobody can afford to lose focus in this business. Rhodes was off his game, and Daniels took advantage and won that match with superior execution. And it's no secret- tomorrow Dusty will be the first one to tell you that Daniels earned the victory tonight. Believe it or not, we still have a grudge match coming up next between D!CK MURDOCH and RIC FLAIR! It will be most interesting to see how this match plays out- bearing in mind that we haven't seen Murdoch in the ring since Anderson himself took him out in a leather strap match. NON-TITLE MATCH: NO DISQUALIFICATION
D!CK MURDOCH pinned "NATURE BOY" RIC FLAIR (w/ TRACI BROOKS)Another stunning upset! Flair came after Murdoch with a vengeance, seemingly determined to take out his frustrations. But Murdoch stood his ground, going toe-to-toe with the champ and knocking him to the mat with a stiff right hand. Murdoch was ruthless, raking the eyes of Flair with his boot laces. Flair attempted to leave the ring, but Murdoch caught him and whipped Flair hard into the steel security railing. Before Flair could recover, Murdoch shoved him into the ring and planted him with a double underhook suplex. Murdoch followed with a beautifully executed Brainbuster and scored a clean pinfall! Golic: Unbelievable! Even the Heartland Heavyweight Champion is not immune to the taste of defeat. And did Murdoch ever look sharp in his return to action! Golic is suddenly interrupted as the Hoosiertron lights up. Amid flashing lights, STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN is pinned against the side of his pickup truck as the local police handcuff him. EMT's are seen in the bed of Austin's truck, untying ARN ANDERSON and assessing the extent of his injuries. As Austin is escorted to the back of a police car, he shouts into the camera.Austin: Flair! You old bastard! Tonight I took out both your Horsemen and I am coming for you next! Take your hands off me, Officer, you dumb son of a bitch! I'll sit my own ass in your little cop car and you can take me to the clink. You think this is first time I ever spent the night in a damn jail? I'll be out before you know it, Flair, and I will be comin' for ya! A police officer steps between Austin and the camera and ushers the cameraman away as the police cruiser pulls away.Golic: Geeminees! That was like an episode of COPS or something! This Austin is some crazy dude- His showdown with Flair will be a fight for the ages! I guess the tag match with RODERICK STRONG is not gonna happen. Heck, Strong is the only guy from that match who isn't either busted up or in jail! But we do have a big match still to come- the NEW AGE OUTLAWS are ready for their shot at the tag team titles against the reigning champs, TEAM TSUNAMI. Let's take a look at tonight's main event! MAIN EVENT: HEARTLAND TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
THE NEW AGE OUTLAWS defeated TEAM TSUNAMI (TAKESHI MORISHIMA & DELIRIOUS) to capture the Heartland Tag Team Championship! An amazing performance by the James Gang! After the teams engaged in a closely fought matchup, the Outlaws managed to isolate Morishima and cut off the ring. Executing beautifully, Kip wore the gaint Japanese down with a series of clotheslines, and tagged to BG who locked Morishima in a tight sleeper hold. Morishima was almost out when Delirious came in to break up the hold and save his partner. Kip responded immediately, taking Delirious out of the ring with a clothesline. With Morishima still staggering, BG slammed him to the mat with a crushing DDT and covered him for the victory! After the decision, Kip and BG celebrated, and were soon joined by CHEERLEADER MELISSA. Delirious got up from the arena floor, furiously babbling and running around ringside, but Morishima calmed him down and the former champs shook the hands of the victors before leaving the ring. Daytondave emerged from backstage and made his way to the ring. Daytondave retrieved the tag team belts from the ringside table and handed them over to the new champions, then took the microphone to address the crowd.Daytondave: Fans, please forgive my departure from the broadcast position earlier this evening. I spent the entire night on the phone with the Anderson Police Department, and I am happy to report that Anderson's finest have apprehended Steve Austin and taken him in for prosecution. And I can assure you, fans, Heartland Wrestling will see that Austin is prosecuted to the full extent of the law! I am also pleased to announce that Arn Anderson is doing just fine. He refused to be transported to the hospital and left the scene under his own power. Finally, congratulations to the new tag team champions, the New Age Outlaws! Congratulations also to Team Tsunami for a fine match this evening. Both these teams rose above the distractions and showed the fans here in Anderson a taste of the best quality wrestling action, which is what the Heartland is all about! And fans, stay in touch, we'll be coming back at ya on Friday night with another episode of Fury. We have a couple of surprises planned for you, including a Divas challenge match pitting MELINA against her new rival DAFFNEY! Until then, fans, that's our show and I AM OUTTA HERE! cotg.proboards12.com/index.cgi?board=lowcards&action=display&thread=1160019897

NWA Heartland Card #117 Mackey Arena, West Lafayette, Indiana February 15, 2008 The show opens with COMMISSIONER DAYTONDAVE in the ring, wearing a dashing, traditional Andrew Fezza tuxedo. CHRISTY HEMME joins him in the ring in a formal red dress, cut high up the leg. Instead of the usual Friday night theme song "Paradise City", the REO Speedwagon classic "Can't Fight This Feeling" plays overhead. Daytondave presents Christy with a dozen long stemmed red roses as she enters the ring. Christy fights back the tears as Daytondave takes the microphone.Daytondave: Happy Valentine's Day to everyone in the Heartland.... and especially to you, my dear Christy! But enough of the sentimentalism, we have a wrestling show to put on tonight! NWA Heartland is coming back at ya with another great night of action. This is our last live broadcast before Monday Night's Havoc XV pay-per-view! We have a lot of ground to cover tonight. STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN continues to be a thorn in the side of this fine federation, and word has it he has been released from prison after making bail. We'll have extra security on hand to be sure that Rattlesnake doesn't cause any trouble. We also have a very special Main Event tonight! In a match to determine who will challenge for the NWA World Tag Team Championship, THE ROAD WARRIORS will take on DUSTY RHODES & BARRY WINDHAM in a number one contenders' match! Now let's head to the ring for tonight's opening contest. Tonight's Referee: Danny DavisTHE MOUNTIE pinned TAKESHI MORISHIMAThe opening match of tonight's card enraged the West Lafayette crowd as The Mountie used his shock stick twice on Morishima to incapacitate him and pin him! Daytondave: There you have it, fans. The evil genius who is "The Mountie". This guy is not even in the same league as Morishima, but he is smart and he is dirty, and tonight he got the best of a superior foe. THE RUNNIN' BUDDIES (ROCK & BOBO BRAZIL) defeated AUSTIN ARIES & RODERICK STRONGAfter an evenly matched contest, Rock and Bobo managed to isolate Strong. Rock worked on his back with several applications of the sharpshooter before finishing Roderick with the Rock Bottom. As Strong lay stunned on the canvas, ARN ANDERSON and TULLY BLANCHARD stormed the ring! Both Horsemen began putting the boots to Roderick until the arena was filled with the sound of broken glass. STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN stormed the ring, and Blanchard and Anderson immediately ran for cover. After clearing the ring, Austin helped Strong to his feet and called for the microphone.Austin: Oh, hell no! Somebody wanna tell me what the hell you Horsemen think you're doing out here? Me and my man Rodney are not finished with you sons of bitches, not a little bit! Now that my new girlfriend SO CAL VAL has bailed me out of the pokey, I am back here in the Heartland to raise some hell and kick some ass. Daytondave, I heard all about your little Havoc Party on Monday night, so I wrote myself an invitation for Rodrigo and me to come to Indianapolis and stomp a couple of mudholes in your pony boys! If you wanna see Stone Cold and Ronald McDonald kick some ass at Havoc, gimme a HELL YEAH! The crowd cheers loudly.Daytondave: Austin, I gotta hand it to ya. You sure as hell have more guts than brains. I know for a fact that the Horsemen can't wait to get a piece of you in that ring. So why don't you and Strong make sure to come to Havoc on Monday night and face the Horsemen head to head- if you have the guts! Austin throws down the microphone and calls for a beer. He hands the first beer to Strong, then calls for a second beer and chugs it down. Without another word for the Commissioner, Austin leads Strong out of the ring and up the ramp. When he reaches the top of the ramp, Austin turns and flips both middle fingers at Daytondave before he and Strong depart.Daytondave: There we have it, fans. Strong and Austin will take on Anderson and Blanchard on Monday night! TERRY GORDY pinned KURT ANGLEAnother closely fought bout was decided as Gordy overpowered Angle and hammered him into the mat with a thunderous short-arm clothesline. Gordy followed up quickly, hoisting Angle in the air for a Powerbomb and pinning him cleanly. Daytondave: This Terry Gordy is a BEAST! Angle shows up and starts talking about RIC FLAIR and titles, but he needs to work his way up the ladder before he sets his sights on the championship. Gordy has had one near miss against Flair, but he his on his way to another shot at the gold if he continues on his current roll. Now, we will see another long-awaited grudge match- from the Diva Division! Christy, show us the video of the events that led up to this situation. Christy: You got it, boss! Footage plays from the Sky Bank Arena in Findlay, Ohio, as BATISTA takes on TOMMY ROGERS. Daytondave: There it is, fans, the incident which got Batista fired from the Horsemen! Or, caused him to quit the Horsemen. Honestly, I'm not sure which! But Melina has vowed to take her revenge on Daffney and now we will see that match take place. DIVA GRUDGE MATCH
MELINA pinned DAFFNEYThe angry Melina went right to work on Daffney! Melina repeatedly gouged at the eyes of Daffney, blinding her and leaving her defenseless. All Daffney could do was shriek until Melina put her away with the Extreme Makeover. After the pin, Melina continued to pummel Daffney, shrieking and screeching about losing her spot with the Horsemen. Finally, BATISTA came down from the dressing room and managed to calm the fiery Latina beauty. As Batista and Melina headed up the ramp, a blurred figure tore from behind the curtain and jumped Batista! After the attacker nailed Batista with a kick to the gut, he grabbed his victim by the shoulder and spun him around hard onto the steel ramp with a vicious spinning neckbreaker! Batista lay on the ramp, gripping his left shoulder, as the attacker stood over him, revealing himself to be the FALLEN ANGEL, CHRISTOPHER DANIELS! Without a word, Daniels turned and walked back through the curtain, leaving the Indiana crowd- and Melina- in a state of stunned silence.Daytondave: What on earth just happened? Batista has been the victim of a Pearl Harbor job by Christopher Daniels! But why? Christy Hemme: I think he wants the Midwest Title back. Daytondave: That may be true. But there's never been the bad blood between these two to justify an attack like that. Christy: So, why else would Daniels attack Batista? Daytondave: Good question, Christy. Could someone else be behind this? There's still an issue between Batista and the Horsemen. Christy: Do you think Daniels is the newest member of the Horsemen? Daytondave: Wow... that would be a surprise! But Daniels is a proven winner in the ring, and he brings a level of intensity that would be fitting for a Horseman. I can't wait to see who Flair has picked out! Believe it or not, in all this excitement, we still have a main event match to come, with a World Tag Team title shot on the line! Let's head back to the ring to finish off tonight's action. MAIN EVENT: NWA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP #1 CONTENDERS' MATCH
THE TEXAS MAVERICKS (DUSTY RHODES & BARRY WINDHAM) defeated THE ROAD WARRIORSIn a tremendous main event match, the Texas Mavericks duo of Windhams and Rhodes outlasted the mighty Road Warriors to earn a shot at the World Tag Team Championship! The bout was very evenly contested until the Warriors got Dusty in a major predicament, delivering a pair of Spike Piledrivers followed by a Doomsday Device! Windham managed to interrupt the pinfall and the match continued. Rhodes eventually made the tag to Barry, who was forced to duel both of the Road Warriors as Dusty recovered. Windham held his own, but the Warriors made frequent tags to keep him off balance and on the defensive. After absorbing considerable punishment of his own, Windham finally turned the tables on Hawk, blocking an attempted ram of his head into a ringside table, then sending Hawk facefirst through the same table! Hawk was staggered and Windham took advantage quickly, powering Hawk into the ring and slamming him down with the Sweetwater Superplex! Animal was unable to save his partner as Windham cradled him and captured the three count! Daytondave: The Mavericks win! Do you believe it? The mighty Road Warriors have tasted defeat after a terrific match from Barry Windham! When the Warriors beat down Dusty Rhodes, I thought it was over, but Windham came in and cleaned house. Rhodes and Windham will take on the Blackjacks in the World Tag Team Championship at Havoc XV. That should be a very intriguing matchup pitting father against son. Who will emerge with the titles? Come back on Monday night for our pay-per-view broadcast and you will see for yourself. Havoc XV will be a terrific night that you won't want to miss. In addition to the World Tag Team Championship, we'll also see the Heartland Heavyweight Championship contested as RIC FLAIR defends against THE ROCK. The Heartland Tag Team Titles will also be up for grabs in a rematch between the newly crowned champions, THE NEW AGE OUTLAWS, and the previous title holders, TEAM TSUNAMI. And don't forget about the grudge match that everyone is talking about, which will pit TULLY BLANCHARD and ARN ANDERSON against none other than STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN and RODERICK STRONG. This card will be loaded from top to bottom! Until then, fans, that's our show and I AM OUTTA HERE! cotg.proboards12.com/index.cgi?board=lowcards&action=display&thread=1160019897

NWA Heartland Havoc XV: Snakes in the Ring Conseco Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, Indiana February 18, 2008 The show opens with COMMISSIONER DAYTONDAVE in the ring, dressed to the nines in a John Varvatos black wool cashmere pinstripe vested suit with a black tie. The tune "Roll the Bones" by Rush fills the arena as CHRISTY HEMME struts around the ring in a leopard print tank top and short black skirt. Christy shimmies around the ring, shaking her hair and swiveling her hips in time to the music as Daytondave takes the microphone to open the show.Daytondave: Hey, fans, welcome to Heartland Havoc XV! That's right, for the fifteenth time, NWA Heartland is comin' at ya, pay-per-view style, and tonight's show promises to be top notch! We've got three title matches for ya! And the match that everyone is talking about, as STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN finally sets foot in a Heartland ring, in tag team action, as he will team with RODERICK STRONG to take on ARN ANDERSON and TULLY BLANCHARD as the Rattlesnake's personal war against the Heartland continues to escalate! But first, we have an exciting opening contest as three men will square off with a Midwest Heavyweight Championship match at stake. Let's get it started! MIDWEST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: #1 CONTENDERS' MATCH: THREE-WAY DANCE
AUSTIN ARIES defeated CHRIS HERO & CHRISTOPHER DANIELS(Referee: Danny Davis) In a highly athletic and entertaining three-way match, all three competitors traded moves and absorbed punishment. Daniels wowed the crowd on multiple occasions, twice executing breakneck suicide dives on BOTH opponents! Aries took the brunt of the punishment, while Hero seemed to be the freshest man in the match for most of the contest. But it was Aries who made the big move, pitching Daniels out of the ring, then alertly nailing a charging Hero with a back elbow against the turnbuckle and covering him for the pinfall! Daytondave: Great move by Austin Aries! Aries just picked up a title shot against BATISTA for the Midwest belt! We'll see if his tag team partner RODERICK STRONG fares as well in the grudge match against the Horsemen later in the night. NWA HEARTLAND TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
THE NEW AGE OUTLAWS defeated TEAM TSUNAMI (DELIRIOUS & TAKESHI MORISHIMA) to retain the titles!(Referee: Joe Kopasz) The Outlaws bested Team Tsunami again in the rematch, using very similar tactics as their championship victory. The Outlaws managed to isolate Morishima and wear him down, and BG nearly took him out with a sleeper hold. But on this occasion, Delirious managed to make the save, only to be turned inside out when the Outlaws executed a double-team hot shot. With Morishima dazed, BG was able to catch Delirious with the Pump Handle Slam to finish the match for the champions. Daytondave: Once again, the savvy of the Outlaws prevails! Delirious and Morishima are fast, and powerful, and popular, but they sure ain't bright. Congrats to the Outlaws for retaining the titles. Can RIC FLAIR hold onto his title against THE ROCK? Let's head back to the ring for the Heartland Heavyweight Championship. NWA HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPTHE ROCK defeated "NATURE BOY" RIC FLAIR by disqualification(Referee: Brady Boone) The Rock-Flair showdown was highly touted as a match-up for the ages. But no one told the Horsemen. Flair and Rock started the match evenly, and Flair hit Rock with a knee drop to the leg to put him on the defensive. But Rock roared back, coming at Flair with a fury and clobbering him with a spinebuster slam. Flair was staggered, and appeared to be in big trouble when Rock delivered his patented Rock Bottom. Before Rock could make the cover, TULLY BLANCHARD and ARN ANDERSON hit the ring and put the boots to the challenger! Brady Boone immediately called for the disqualification, but the Horsemen weren't finished. Arn and Tully continued to pummel the Rock, until STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN and RODERICK STRONG hit the ring! A fierce six-way brawl ensued, with fists and bodies flying all over the Conseco Fieldhouse. Austin and Flair went toe-to toe, as Rock and Blanchard exchanged haymakers in the ring. In the opposite corner, Anderson reversed an Irish Whip and sent Strong hurtling shoulder first into the ring post! Strong was shaken up, but determined to carry on with the fight. Traci Brooks screamed as Flair and Austin went at it. Traci leaped onto Austin's back, taking him to the floor, where she began pummeling him with her fists! Austin covered up, but from nowhere, SO CAL VAL arrived on the scene and tore into Traci! Val and Traci fought all over the arena, as eventually all six men settled down to watch the ladies tear into each other! Val grabbed Traci by the hair and pulled her to the floor, slapping at her wildly. Traci responded aggressively, pounding on Val with with her fists and shoving her to the floor. Both ladies got to their feet, but Traci got the jump on Val, grabbed her by the shoulders, and dumped her unceremoniously onto the announcers' table!Val landed awkwardly on the announce table, and tumbled over, landing squarely in the lap of Commissioner Daytondave! Val and Daytondave toppled over to the arena floor. When Val picked herself up, she looked down at the fallen Commissioner and stopped dead in her tracks. Her jaw dropped and her eyes widened as she eyed Daytondave. With a look of deep concern, Val dropped to her knees and helped Daytondave back to his feet. The Commissioner was shaken, but returned to his seat at the announcers' table beside Christy Hemme. Austin grabbed Val by the hand and pulled her back to a seat on the opposite side of the ring. As Austin pulled her away, Val's eyes never left the Commissioner.Daytondave: What a fiasco! I'm glad that's over- at least for the moment. We still have Austin's tag match to come! It looks like Roderick Strong may have gotten banged up during that melee, but I think he will be able to continue. Christy: That was quite a spill you took, boss. Are you okay? Daytondave: Of course I am, Christy. It takes more than a little tumble to take me off my game. Christy: Of course it does. Just don't ever let me catch you on the floor with that tramp So Cal Val ever again! (Christy giggles.)Daytondave: It's a tough business, babycakes. Occupational hazards come with the territory. One minute you're minding your own business, and the next minute you're toppled by a flying redhead. Christy: Damn straight, Daytondave. A flying redhead can be a dangerous thing! TAG TEAM GRUDGE MATCHARN ANDERSON & TULLY BLANCHARD battled STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN & RODERICK STRONG to a no contest(Referee: Heather Owens) The brutality level continued to escalate after the brawl at the conclusion of the title match. With Strong favoring his injured shoulder, Austin carried most of the load for his team, while the Horsemen tagged frequently. Strong came into the match periodically, and was surprisingly effective after his injury. Action repeatedly spilled outside the ring, where both Austin and Blanchard took major damage. Anderson tagged into the match, and had Strong lined up for a clothesline, but Roderick pulled Heather Owens into Anderson's path, sending her out of the ring and down to the floor! The brawling continued until Blanchard plastered Strong with a Slingshot Suplex! Strong was down and out, but there was no referee to count the pinfall! In frustration, Blanchard began stomping and pounding on Strong as Austin and Anderson battled. RIC FLAIR returned to ringside and jumped into the fracas, exchanging fists with Austin as the crowd erupted! As the chaos evolved, TERRY GORDY came to ringside. Seeing the downed figure of Strong on the mat, he stepped in and restrained Blanchard. Anderson quickly slid into the ring to defend his partner, but Gordy stared him down and Anderson stopped in his tracks. Blanchard and Anderson looked at one another, undecided whether to jump on the massive Gordy. Just at that moment, Gordy helped Strong to his feet- and drilled him with an Asiatic Spike! The Horsemen high-fived and gloated over the downed Strong, but Gordy wasn't finished. "Bam Bam" lifted Strong's unconscious body high over head, then slammed him down with a massive powerslam! Strong remained out on the canvas as Gordy left with Anderson and Blanchard. Flair and Austin continued to brawl until Rene Goulet and his Elite Security Forces managed to separate them and escort them to the locker room.Daytondave: Terry Gordy has joined the Horsemen! What a shocker! For the third time in as many shows, Roderick Strong has found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time- and tonight, he paid the price dearly. It looks as if the paramedics will have to come and take Strong away in an ambulance. I still haven't seen him move since Gordy nailed him with that Powerbomb. Our thoughts go out to Roderick and his family- we hope he makes a full recovery. Now we are ready for the main event! What an exciting contest this should be- father versus son! THE BLACKJACKS will be defending the World Tag Titles against BARRY WINDHAM and DUSTY RHODES. This is an unprecedented moment in Heartland history. The TEXAS MAVERICKS theme music plays as BARRY WINDHAM and DUSTY RHODES come through the curtain and stand together at the top of the ring ramp. As the Mavericks acknowledge the Conseco crowd, suddenly they are attacked! ARN ANDERSON, TULLY BLANCHARD, and TERRY GORDY blindside the Mavericks, knocking them both to the steel ramp. Gordy goes to work on Rhodes with a steel chair! The Dream is knocked to the floor and Gordy continues to work him over. Anderson and Blanchard pound away at Windham, beating him down, then hoisting him high into the air and dropping him hard on the steel ramp with a Spike Piledriver! Windham goes down in a heap and lies motionless. As a bloodied Rhodes gets to his feet, Gordy grabs him, powers him into the air in a powerbomb position, and tosses him off the stage, sending him crashing ten feet from the stage down to a pile of steel chairs on the arena floor. As the Horsemen laugh and taunt their fallen rivals, THE BLACKJACKS emerge from the dressing room. Seeing the carnage, Mulligan and Lanza tear into the Horsemen, but all three men scatter in different directions and flee the stage. The Blackjacks are left standing on the stage, looking over the fallen bodies of Rhodes and Windham, when the face of TRACI BROOKS appears on the Hoosiertron.Traci: Hey! Barry Windham! Looks like you finally got what you had coming! You never should have crossed the Horsemen! I guess this means no title match for you tonight! No worries, my guys Arn and Tully will gladly take the Blackjacks behind the woodshed and beat the titles right off of them! Daytondave: Just one minute, Traci Brooks! Don't you think for one second that I am going to let the Horsemen get away with this heinous act, let alone allow you to benefit from it. Traci: You talk pretty tough, Commish. But you still have a main event to put on! You're not going to disappoint the fine people of Indianapolis by cancelling the main event, are you? And I KNOW that you wouldn't dream of refunding their money tonight- you have too many fancy suits to pay for! So why don't you just sanction the match, and let Arn and Tully come down and bring those belts back to Traci and the Horsemen? Daytondave: I don't think so, Traci. There WILL be a title match tonight, and it will NOT involve the Horsemen. We have another tag team on the roster that is far more deserving of a World Title match! A team that has already climbed the mountain and captured the gold. Fans, tonight's NWA World Tag Team Championship match will take place as scheduled. The Blackjacks will defend the titles against the former NWA World Tag Team Champions- THE ROAD WARRIORS!The song "Iron Man" fills the arena as Hawk and Animal appear on the stage. The Blackjacks refuse to back down, eying the challengers with a scowl of intensity as the stride to the ring. All four men struggle to pull their heads together and focus on the match amidst the fracas. The fans cheer the arrival of the Warriors, then the arena gradually falls silent as the confrontation begins.NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPTHE ROAD WARRIORS defeated THE BLACKJACKS to capture the NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Devastation in the Heartland! The Road Warriors tore through the Blackjacks like a hot knife through butter. Lanza bore the brunt of the abuse, absorbing a severe beating from Animal and then eating a Doomsday Device from Hawk to end the title reign. Daytondave: History has been made! Right here in Indianapolis! The mighty Road Warriors have taken out the Blackjacks and regained the World Tag Team Championship! Honestly, I expected a more competitive match, but the Warriors came out hungry and took the fight right to the champions. I am certainly not surprised that the Roadies hit the ring and took care of business. Congratulations to your new World Tag Team Champions, The Road Warriors! Fans, what a wild night it has been here in Indianapolis! This has got to be one of the most intense and eventful pay-per-view broadcasts in the history of the Heartland. But don't worry, fans, we'll be back at you soon with another exciting broadcast of Heartland action. Until then, fans, that's our show and I AM OUTTA HERE!cotg.proboards12.com/index.cgi?board=lowcards&action=display&thread=1160019897

NWA Heartland Card #118 Ellis Johnson Arena, Morehead, Kentucky February 25, 2008 The card begins with COMMISSIONER DAYTONDAVE in the ring in a turquoise Vittori St. Angelo High Fashion three-piece suit with a lapelled vest, highlighted by a Steve Harvey silk tie with matching corner square and hat. He is accompanied by the lovely CHRISTY HEMME, dressed in a low-cut blue silk dress as he takes the microphone to open the show.Daytondave: Hey, fans, welcome back to Kentucky! Yes, this town is called "Morehead", and we're here at the "Johnson" Arena, I kid you not. I'll leave the jokes to the amateur comedians like that idiot STEVE AUSTIN, if he has the guts to show his face tonight. Anyhow, we're coming back at ya with an exciting episode of Monday Night Adrenaline! This is our first show in the wake of Heartland Havoc XV, which saw the crowning of new World Tag Team Champions. Congratulations to the ROAD WARRIORS on their return to the top of the mountain. But of course, that match was not without controversy. The original challengers, BARRY WINDHAM and DUSTY RHODES, were taken out by the Horsemen! Both men remain out of action, and their good friends in the TEXAS MAVERICKS have vowed not to take this lying down. In fact, tonight's main event will feature a special challenge match, as DIRTY D!CK MURDOCH has challenged the newest Horseman, TERRY GORDY, to a no-disqualification grudge match! Christy: That should be a great match, boss! I can't wait. But I have to say, you look especially gorgeous tonight in that suit. Your tie and hat are magnificent! I am one lucky lady to be at your side. But boss, I never knew that had High Fashion apparel in Kentucky! Where ever did you find such a spiffy hat? Daytondave: Oh... this old rag? It was... a gift. Christy: Oooooh... a gift? Well, it certainly is HOT! Christy runs her hands along Daytondave's lapel. In the inside pocket of the suit jacket, she discovers an envelope. Her eyes narrow as she pulls a card from the envelope and reads it.Christy: "A special something for the best dressed Commissioner in the NWA, and the best looking man I have ever laid eyes on.... Val." Christy scowls as she rips the card to shreds and storms out of the ring without a word.Daytondave: Um... okay... looks like the Commish has some 'splainin' to do... so we better get the show started and get down to business. Tonight we will see the beginning of a new feature in the Heartland, as we honor the tradition that is Independent Wrestling. We have commissioned a 16-man tournament, featuring the stars of the Heartland Wrestling Alliance (HWA), one of the finest independent promotions in the Midwest. With special thanks to the "Barnestormer", let's take a look at some of the local talent! (Tonight's referee: Danny Davis)HWA EXHIBITION TOURNAMENT"BAD SEED" SHAWN OSBORNE pinned "DAREDEVIL OF EXTREME" TACKA long and competitive match finally went to Osborne with a thunderous sidewalk slam. D!CK RICK defeated "HIGH IQ" QUENTIN LEE by disqualificationA battle of nefarious heels was dominated by "The D. R." until a frustrated Lee KO'ed D!ck with a dictionary to earn the DQ. Daytondave: Great action! I look forward to seeing more from these HWA stars in the weeks to come. Now, let's get on to the main show! HWA alumnus NIGEL McGUINESS will be featured in our opening match. Nigel got his start right here in the Heartland, and it's always a special moment when he hits the ring in front of his most loyal fan base. NIGEL McGUINESS defeated WAHOO McDANIEL by submissionIn a growing but respectful rivalry, Nigel got the best of Wahoo tonight, controlling the action with a scientific attack and forcing the Chief to tap out to the cross arm breaker. Daytondave: A fine match by McGuiness! Just what you would expect from one of the most crafty and technically sound competitors anywhere in the sport. Next up, we have the debut of one of the former World Tag Team Champions, now here in the Heartland, let's take a look at BLACKJACK LANZA in singles competition. As Lanza makes his way to the ring, the scene shifts backstage, where an agitated RANDY ORTON has confronted "NATURE BOY" RIC FLAIR. Orton: Ric, what the hell happened? I thought I was gonna be the fourth member of the Horsemen! You never said a word to me about TERRY GORDY. Look at this chiseled physique. I am the Legend Killer! I am the meanest, the most athletic, and the most ruthless superstar in the Heartland! How could you pass me by for that fat slob Gordy? I have a mind to go take him out myself, Ric, and prove to you once and for all what a mistake you made! Flair: Randy, Randy, relax! The Nature Boy has everything under control. You know as well as I do that Gordy is a monster- he's as tough as they come. We needed a badass like Gordy to fill BATISTA'S spot. But that doesn't mean that The Legend Killer and the Nature Boy still can't work together. You wanna prove yourself to the Horsemen? I will make you a deal. You take out Blackjack Lanza tonight- put him on the shelf- and there will be a seat in the Horseman limo for you tonight and a tall glass of champagne with your name on it! RANDY ORTON pinned BLACKJACK LANZAOrton came out with a purpose, and systematically dismantled his Maverick foe. After a thorough beating, Orton took out Lanza with the RKO for the three-count. As Lanza struggled to recover, Orton lined him up for a devastating kick to the head. But before the "Legend Killer" could strike, BLACKJACK MULLIGAN and D!CK MURDOCH dashed to the ring and jumped Orton! Suddenly facing 3-on-1 odds, Orton ran for cover, but Mulligan caught him before he could escape. Mulligan whipped Orton across the ring, where Murdoch caught him with a tremendous lariat to put him on the canvas! Orton was dazed, but the Blackjacks weren't finished. Lanza went to his vest and pulled out a bullwhip, then began delivering lashes across Orton's back. Randy was helpless as he took the flogging, and there was no rescue from the locker room. Danny Davis shied away from the ugly scene, and Lanza continued to beat Orton until he lay out cold on the mat, his flesh ripped open and bleeding as the Blackjacks and Murdoch climbed out of the ring. As they departed, Mulligan took the microphone.Mulligan: Orton! You little punk! Maybe you won the battle tonight, but son, this is WAR! Some little snot-nosed punk like you ain't gonna make a name for yourself on a Blackjack! You got yourself a damn whoopin' tonight just like you deserved. Murdoch: Damn right, Mulligan! And Terry Gordy, you are next. I got something for you tonight that will make you regret that you ever laid a hand on my pal DUSTY RHODES, and especially Blackjack's boy BARRY WINDHAM. Family means everything in Texas- and you crossed the line big time. Tonight, Gordy, you pay the price! Daytondave: What a gruesome scene! The Texas Mavericks sent quite a message tonight, and Flair had best be listening. This feud went up a notch at Havoc, and tonight the Blackjacks have taken it to another level. I guess this means no champagne for Orton tonight. KURT ANGLE pinned JAKE CRIST (w/ MELINA)Angle taught the kid a wrestling lesson, keeping him grounded and tossing him about the ring with a variety of suplexes. Jake absorbed a great deal of punishment, and kept coming back, before Angle laid him out with a series of rolling German suplexes and put him down for the pin. After the match, Angle helped Jake to his feet and shook his hand before leaving the ring.Daytondave: Now that's more like it! Two class individuals in a competitive match. No bullwhips, no ringposts, just athletes. Jake Crist has taken down some big names in this territory, but Angle is at the top of his game and tonight he catches the duke. Now let's move ahead to some classic tag team action! TONY ATLAS has reunited with his long-time tag partner ROCKY JOHNSON, and tonight we'll see them in action against THE FANTASTICS.THE FANTASTICS (TOMMY ROGERS & BOBBY FULTON w/ DAFFNEY) defeated TONY ATLAS & ROCKY JOHNSON by disqualificationAtlas and Johnson looked sharp in their fist match back together, but the Fantastics matched them move for move. Both teams worked together crisply, but the power of Atlas and Johnson enabled them to gradually gain the advantage. After Atlas levelled Rogers with a powerful jumping headbutt, Daffney jumped onto the ring apron and distracted Danny Davis long enough to prevent her man from being pinned. Action broke down at that point, and the fiery Rocky Johnson got his dander up. Rocky hauled Rogers out of the ring and whipped him into the steel guard rails. Rogers crashed hard and went down in a heap. leaving Davis no choice but to call for the disqualification. After the bell, Daffney dashed to Tommy and helped him to his feet. Atlas and Johnson exchanged words before leaving the ring together.Daytondave: So much for the return of Atlas and Johnson. NWA HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: QUALIFYING MATCH
CHRISTOPHER DANIELS pinned CHRIS HEROThe two indy stars put on a highly competitive and entertaining match! The action went back and forth, with Daniels gaining the early advantage before Hero reversed into a cravate and executed the Hangman's Clutch III for a two count. Hero pressed the advantage, executing the Hero's Welcome for another two-count. When Daniels kicked out, Hero went to the turnbuckle for a cross-body block, but Daniels ducked away and Hero hit the mat hard. This proved to be the turning point, as Daniels went right to the Angel's Wings and captured the victory. Daytondave: A fine match for the "Fallen Angel". He will move ahead now to a number one contenders' match! Another man who has his sights on RIC FLAIR! Uneasy lies the head on which rests the crown. The scene suddenly shifts to the Johnson Arena parking lot. A pickup truck pulls up, and TERRY GORDY steps out for his match. As Gordy heads to the arena entrance, D!CK MURDOCH and THE BLACKJACKS jump out from behind a nearby parked car! Blackjack Mulligan levels Gordy with a clothesline, and all three men begin putting the boots to him. Gordy staggers to his feet, but the beating continues. Murdoch takes control, hoisting Gordy into the air and dropping him onto the hood of his truck with a brainbuster! Gordy crumbles to the ground, holding his left shoulder and grimacing as the Mavericks stand over him.Daytondave: Another message sent by the Mavericks! I guess after Havoc, the Texans have decided to fight fire with fire. I have gotten word that Gordy has made it to his feet and is insisting that he wants to come out and take on Murdoch in the main event! GRUDGE MATCH: D!CK MURDOCH pinned TERRY GORDYGordy came after Murdoch with a fury, despite favoring his left shoulder. Bam Bam delivered a powerful Lariat and nearly took Murdoch's head off! Quickly, he stunned Murdoch with the Asiatic Spike, but Murdoch escaped to the ring floor. When Gordy pursued him Murdoch got the edge, grabbing Gordy by the injured arm and whipping his shoulder into the steel post! Gordy went down in a heap, and as he staggered to his feet, Murdoch crushed him with a jumping knee smash and Gordy's running lights were dimmed. It was easy pickings for the Captain at that point, rolling Gordy back into the ring and powering him up for a monsterous brainbuster. Murdoch covered him for the three count, then stood over Gordy and spat on him before departing the ring. When Murdoch spat on Gordy, this drew the ire of the Horsemen! RIC FLAIR, TULLY BLANCHARD, and ARN ANDERSON stormed to ringside! Murdoch and the Blackjacks stood in the ring, glaring at the Horsemen. Blackjack Lanza held his bullwhip menacingly, and the Horsemen held their ground. As the tension grew, out of nowhere STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN emerged from the crowd, backjumped Ric Flair, spun him around and dropped him with a Stunner! Before the Horsemen could react, Austin escaped through the crowd. Blanchard and Anderson could only help Gordy and Flair to their feet, and the Horsemen limped back to the dressing room as the show drew to a close.Daytondave: What a bad night for the Horsemen! Fans, the Texas Mavericks have drawn the line in the sand, and they have taken the fight to the Horsemen tonight! We've seen bullwhippings and parking lot attacks- and that cowardly bastard Austin! Talk about a hit and run job- no surprise that Austin doesn't want to stand and fight like a man. His day will come, I promise you that. Fans, we need to pull things together now, there's still a lot of chaos in the back. We're headed to Georgetown, Kentucky for Friday night's episode of Fury. The Midwest Heavyweight Championship will be on the line in our main event, as BATISTA takes on AUSTIN ARIES. Until then, fans, that's our show and I AM OUTTA HERE!

NWA Heartland Card #119 Alumni Gymnasium, Georgetown, Kentucky February 29, 2008 The show opens with COMMISSIONER DAYTONDAVE standing in the ring, alone. He is dressed in a tan cashmere Etro sports jacket and black polo shirt and slacks, holding a bouquet of red roses in one hand and a microphone in the other. The music, "Paradise City" by Guns 'N Roses plays overhead, but Daytondave appears sullen as he addresses the crowd.Daytondave: Hey, fans, welcome to NWA Heartland wrestling! It's great to be here on our first-ever visit to Georgetown, Kentucky, for this evening's installment of Friday Night Fury. Now fans, I am not usually a man who conducts matters of the heart in a public setting, but tonight I am prepared to make an exception. As you can see, my lovely and talented assistant, CHRISTY HEMME, is not with me in the ring tonight. On most Friday nights, Christy loves to dance to the Fury theme and put on a great show for the fans of the Heartland. But I am afraid that there has been a misunderstanding after Monday night's broadcast of Adrenaline. Christy, my dear, I am deeply sorry if you were hurt when SO CAL VAL sent me a note. What happened with Val was just- one of those moments in the wrestling business- and nothing more. I know that you are backstage tonight, Christy, but I would like you to come to the ring and accept these roses along with my deepest apologies over any misunderstanding which may have happened. The face of CHRISTY HEMME appears on the Tigertron, her makeup smeared and her eyes moist as she speaks.Christy: Daytondave... you know how much I would love to believe you... please... just promise me it will never happen again... promise me I won't have to see her in another Heartland Arena ever again! Daytondave holds up the red roses toward Christy. As she leaves the backstage position and heads to ringside, the music "Beverly Hills" by Weezer plays. SO CAL VAL struts to the ring and takes the microphone. Christy arrives on the ramp, sees Val in the ring, and bursts into tears. Daytondave calls after her, but has no microphone. Christy runs backstage as Val begins to speak.Val: Roses? For me? Oh, Daytondave, you shouldn't have! (Val bats her eyelashes.) But it's just as well. These will look divine on my piano. Thank you, handsome! And by the way, Daytondave, I'm sure you know there's only one thing better than having roses on your piano... right? Now why don't you just forget about short stuff, and come spend the evening with me in my sky box? I know how you enjoy a fine glass of champagne... so tonight, I offer you California's finest! Daytondave stammers for a moment as Val holds the microphone to him.Daytondave: Val... you know I have a show to do tonight! I couldn't possibly... Val: Okay then... after the show will be just fine, you gorgeous hunk! Val leans into Daytondave and whispers in his ear. Daytondave's jaw drops. Before Daytondave can respond, the music "She's A Rebel" by Green Day plays overhead. TRACI BROOKS appears at the top of the ramp, eyes narrowed.Traci: Ooohhh Val... you've got some nerve showing your face around here! Girlfriend, I am not finished with you, not by a long shot! We all know you're hooked up with STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN and your Tradition pals. So why don't you stop being such a floosy and a homewrecker, take your eyes off Christy's man, and get your ass out of the Heartland- NOW! Traci rushes to the ring at full speed. Val quickly drops the microphone, grabs the roses, and dashes out of the ring as quickly as she can. Traci slides into the ring and grabs the mic, shouting at Val as she scampers away.Traci: Val! You SKANK! This ain't over! I challenge you to a mixed tag match- Heartland versus Tradition! Me and Ric Flair will take on you and Austin- if you have the guts! Traci throws down the microphone and strides back to the locker room. Daytondave slowly regains his poise and takes the microphone.Daytondave: Fans, my deepest apologies that you had to see that. But at least now I know the only thing better than having roses on my piano... (Daytondave fans himself with his hand.) And I also know, that we are gonna see one heck of a fight if Austin and Val accept the challenge. Now, finally, let's get some wrestling started. We have two more exhibition matches to start the show, from round one of the HWA Singles tournament! (Tonight's referee: Brady Boone)HWA EXHIBITION TOURNAMENT
MATT STRYKER pinned JON MOXLEYA long-standing HWA rivalry was renewed in the first round! Stryker and Moxley knew each other well, and the early portion of the match saw numerous counters and reversals. Moxley survived a flurry from Stryker and managed to pitch him from the ring, but Stryker alertly slugged Moxley as he leaned through the ropes. Moxley was stunned, and Stryker took advantage with a springboard moonsault to score the pinfall. "BUFFALO BAD BOY" BRIAN JENNINGS defeated RORY FOX by submission The two longest-running champions in HWA history met in the opening round, but Jennings had a relatively easy time in this match. After levelling Fox with the "Wide Right" top rope leg drop, 4BJ locked Rory into the Buffalo Wing and forced him to tap out. Daytondave: More great action from the independent stars of the HWA! We have just seen four of the icons of the Midwest independent scene, and there will be more great competition in the weeks to come as our tournament continues. Now, let's move on to the main card! THE ROCK defeated JAY BRISCOE (w/ SARA DEL REY) by disqualificationRock looked very sharp in this match, dominating Briscoe from the outset. A thunderous spinebuster put Jay down for a two-count, and Rock followed by electrifying the Georgetown crowd with the People's Elbow. This brought Sara to the ring apron, distracting Rock long enough for Jay to catch Rock in a gorilla press! An angry Brady Boone sent Sara back to ringside, but Briscoe wasn't finished. He tossed Rock out of the ring, where a violent brawl erupted. When Jay refused to honor Brady Boone's request to return to the ring, Boone called for the bell and awarded the match to Rock by disqualification. Daytondave: Gimme a break! Briscoe got disqualified for that? I think Brady Boone was quick with the trigger in that situation. But I suppose, after all the brutality we witnessed here on Monday night, Boone decided to take charge sooner rather than later. I can respect that. Now, before the next match, I have a couple of announcements. A.J. Styles and Kurt Angle been drafted to the newest NWA promotion in the Great White North. We wish them all the best! Tommy Gunn is a good man, a fine promoter, and a friend, and I am confident that the Great White North will be an outstanding addition to the NWA! To replace A.J. and Angle, Heartland has signed two new superstars. The beautiful and talented CHRISTY HEMME is backstage to introduce them to you at this time! Over to you, Christy! Christy: Up yours, you two-timing piece of crap. Fans, I am honored tonight to introduce you to the two newest members of the Heartland roster. We've decided to go back to the old school and bring in two of the toughest men that the sport has to offer. Please join me in welcoming our newest acquisitions, PAUL ORNDORFF and KEN PATERA!Orndorff: Thank you, Christy. Heartland has always been at the top of the heap of wrestling promotions, and I am glad to be here! Patera: You better believe it, Rorndorff! This place is full of a bunch of great fans, great wrestlers, great arenas, great matches, and great balls of fire! Rorndorff and me have been against each other before, but now we are with each other and we are going to be with each other again! I am Ken Patera, first American ever to deadlift 500 pounds, the Olympic strong man, and I am gonna take the dirty yard dogs in this Heartland and teach them some lessons or two! Nobody messes with the Brandon Bull and the Olympic Strongman! It don't matter if it's a Maverick or a Horseman or a Blackjack or a Runnin Buddy or a Tsunami or an Outlaw, you cross paths with Ken Patera and you will look worse than you started with! Patera flexes for the camera, as Orndorff scratches his head and Christy looks confused. Orndorff heads to the ring, while Patera walks back to the dressing room. The camera follows Patera down the hallway, where he sees a spray-painted inscription on the wall which says, "GREAT WHITE NORTH SUCKS." After taking several moments to read the graffiti, he continues down the hall to be met by THE MOUNTIE.Mountie: Great White North Sucks? I suppose you're the scoundrel who inscribed that disgusting insignia! Patera: What's an insignia? Mountie: Never mind, then. Have at you! Mountie pulls out his shock stick and jabs at Patera. The Strongman quickly disarms Mountie and clamps him into a full nelson!Mountie: Unhand me, you ruffian! You will pay for your misdeeds, I swear it upon the beauty of Canada herself! Patera drops Mountie to the floor. Mountie grabs his shock stick and scrambles away as Patera turns to the camera.Patera: What's a ruffian? TOMMY ROGERS (w/ DAFFNEY) pinned PAUL ORNDORFFThe "Brandon Bull" never got untracked in his return to the Heartland. Rogers took the advantage quickly and dominated Orndorff with a dazzling array of flying moves. After two near falls with gut wrench suplexes, Tommy went to the top turnbuckle and hammered Orndorff with a cross-body block to catch a pinfall. Daytondave: Wow! This Tommy Rogers is full of surprises. Orndorff came in with the best of credentials, but once again Rogers took the measure of a bigger opponent and came out on top! I don't know what just happened back stage, but I do know this: The Mountie always gets his man! I have just been told that Mountie has challenged Ken Patera to a match next Monday Night at Adrenaline! So, we'll see the debut of the Olympic Strongman at our next event. Until then, you can check out his work at . Enjoy! SHAWN MICHAELS pinned BLACKJACK MULLIGANMichaels opened the match with a flurry, putting Mulligan back on his heels with a flying shoulder tackle and dropping him with a flying forearm. Michaels delivered a textbook Sweet Chin Music, but Mulligan kicked out! Mulligan attempted to rally, but TULLY BLANCHARD came to ringside and began shouting at him. This brought BLACKJACK LANZA to the ring to confront Blanchard. Michaels went to the top turnbuckle for a bodypress, but Mulligan rolled through and nearly caught a surprise pin. Blackjack decided to take his turn climbing the buckle, but ARN ANDERSON sneaked in from behind and shoved Mulligan down to the canvas! Unaware of the interference, Michaels delivered a moonsault bodypress and covered Mulligan for the three-count. After the pin, Mulligan stormed to his feet and began screaming at Anderson. Lanza and Blanchard began brawling, and soon Anderson and Mulligan also began duking it out on the arena floor. At that moment, STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN once again came out of the crowd and moved in behind Blanchard. Shawn Michaels was the first to see Austin, and Michaels surprised the Georgetown crowd by climbing to the top turnbuckle and launching himself onto Austin with a flying Thesz press! Michaels took Austin to the floor, and pounded away with a flurry of punches, leaving Stone Cold to cover up. Finally, Rene Goulet and his Elite Security Forces stormed into the fracas and separated the brawlers. The Blackjacks and Austin were herded back to the dressing room, still screaming and exchanging taunts with the Horsemen.Daytondave: Do you believe that? Shawn Michaels just came to the rescue of the Horsemen! I gotta get an explanation for this! Christy, see if you can catch up to Michaels and ask him what just happened. Christy: Yeah, whatever. Just be sure to sign my paycheck at the end of the night... like I have a choice. Michaels arrives backstage and joins Christy on the microphone.Michaels: Hello, Christy! What's with the long face? Don't worry, sweetheart, it's not that unusual for a handsome dude like Daytondave to have the women throwing themselves at him. Take it from me, I've been there! Christy: I'm sure you have, Shawn. Now enough about my personal life. Why did you jump Austin tonight? Michaels: Well, you see, Christy, it's simple. I ain't a Horseman, don't wanna be. I ain't a Blackjack or a Maverick, don't wanna be. What I am is a Heartland Superstar, and I ain't about to put up with some skunk like Austin, who doesn't even belong here, coming in and backjumping any of my Heartland boys. The Horsemen and the Mavericks have some serious issues to settle, and I'm all for that, but I won't stand for Austin and his sneak attacks. When he put a beating on Ric Flair's kid, that took things way over the line. I did what had to be done tonight, and if I see that rattlesnake Austin show his face in another Heartland arena, I'll do it again! As Michaels completes his interview, STEVE AUSTIN storms in from behind. Michaels turns, and Austin slams a boot into his gut, then drops him on the floor with a Stunner. Austin leans over Michaels, both middle fingers extended, then turns and stomps out of the arena.Daytondave: That dirty bastard! You better believe the Heartland isn't finished with him yet! I think we have things under control back in the ring, so let's head to our next match. TEAM TSUNAMI (TAKESHI MORISHIMA & DELIRIOUS) defeated THE HORSEMEN (ARN ANDERSON & TULLY BLANCHARD w/ TRACI BROOKS) by disqualificationJust when it looked like things would cool down, the Horsemen struck again! The match had barely begun when RIC FLAIR stormed to ringside. Flair carried the Heartland championship belt on one shoulder, and a pile of papers in the other hand. Enraged, he grabbed the microphone and began shouting. Flair: Austin! You son of a bitch! When I get my hands on you, you're a DEAD MAN! Flair holds a picture of his son David, bloodied and beaten, in the back of Austin's truck.Flair: You wanna make this personal? You wanna come after my family? Austin, I will DESTROY you! Look at these hospital bills! X-rays! Physical therapy! CT scans! Flair wildly throws papers around the ringside area.Flair: Not like I care about the cash. I have more money than Donald Trump. But I am gonna take every damn dime of these hospital bills outta your hide, Austin! As Flair rants, action in the ring continues. Arn Anderson crushes Delirious with a spinebuster slam. Delirious rolls out of the ring and lands at the feet of Flair. The Nature Boy takes the Heartland belt from his shoulder and begins beating Delirious! Brady Boone calls for the bell. Anderson and Blanchard quickly step in front of Flair and pull him away. Morishima scowls at Flair, but Blanchard manages to settle the giant Japanese superstar. Anderson calms Flair down and ushers him to the locker room, while Blanchard helps Morishima tend to Delirious. Morishima sees a picture of the beaten body of David Flair, and seems willing to accept the apology from Blanchard as they help Delirious to his feet and back to the locker room.Daytondave: I tell you, fans, Ric Flair is beside himself, and I don't blame him! But he sure dodged a bullet tonight. Takeshi Morishima is somebody that no one wants for an enemy. Flair has enough enemies already! Here's hoping that Delirious is okay- he was just the wrong man in the wrong place at the wrong time tonight. After all this action and controversy, we still have a main event- and a title match to boot! The Midwest Title is up for grabs as BATISTA defends the belt against AUSTIN ARIES. Should be a great match! Batista is still not at 100% after being attacked by CHRISTOPHER DANIELS two weeks ago in West Lafayette, Indiana. Let's take a look at that footage before we go to the match. After winning her match, Melina continued to pummel Daffney, shrieking and screeching about losing her spot with the Horsemen. Without a word, Daniels turned and walked back through the curtain, leaving the Indiana crowd- and Melina- in a state of stunned silence.MAIN EVENT: NWA MIDWEST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
BATISTA (w/ MELINA) defeated AUSTIN ARIES by disqualification to retain the titleBatista was clearly wrestling at less than full strength with the injured shoulder, and Aries was intent upon taking advantage. Aries got off to a quick start, knocking Batista back with dropkicks and setting him up for a 450 Splash! Aries looked to have the match under control until Melina got involved, raking the eyes of the challenger and allowing her man to regain his feet. Batista used his good arm and his 100-pound weight advatage to overpower Aries, slamming him repeatedly until he was badly stunned. In desperation, Aries went to the outside, catching Batista and slamming him face-first to the steel ring steps. Brady Boone immediately signaled for the disqualification and awarded the match to Batista. Daytondave: Fans, what a bizarre night in the Heartland. Disqualifications galore, feuds left and right, unexpected guests- things just keep heating up by the day! Congratulations to Batista for retaining the Midwest Championship! Be sure to join us on Monday night for our next episode of Adrenaline, with the Heartland Heavyweight Championship up for grabs! That's right, fans, we'll see the rematch between the champion, RIC FLAIR, and the top contender, THE ROCK. We'll see you in Louisville this Monday. Until then, fans, that's our show and I AM OUTTA HERE!

NWA Heartland Card #120 Broadbent Arena, Louisville, Kentucky March 3, 2008 The show opens with COMMISSIONER DAYTONDAVE standing in the ring with a microphone and a box of candy. He is nattily attired in a Gabbana Ottoman Evening suit as the music fades and Daytondave addresses the crowd.Daytondave: Hey, fans, welcome to Monday Night Adrenaline! NWA Heartland Wrestling is coming back at ya from Louisville and we have a great card scheduled tonight! Our main event will be a rematch for the Heartland Heavyweight Championship as the one and only "NATURE BOY" RIC FLAIR defends the belt against THE ROCK. You won't want to miss that matchup. But fans, before we start the show, once again we are without the services of my lovely and gracious assistant, CHRISTY HEMME. Christy, I know you are backstage, and I can't begin to tell you how deeply sorry I am about the mis- Daytondave is abruptly interrupted by the sounds of "I Walk Alone" by Saliva. BATISTA appears at the top of the ramp, accompanied by MELINA as he strides to the ring confidently and takes the microphone from Daytondave. Batista: Nice suit, dude. Now Daytondave, you know I haven't had much to say since I parted ways with the Horsemen. But after much reflection, I am glad to be my own man! The Midwest Title is mine, Melina is mine- I got everything a man could ask for- except one thing- the Heartland Heavyweight Title! So Ric Flair, if you make it past The Rock tonight, I am calling you out! Daytondave: Wow! How about that, fans! Batista has just challenged Ric Flair for the Heavyweight Title! We'll see what the Championship Committee has to say about that. Thanks for joining us tonight, big man! Now, before we get on with the show, I want to get a word with Christy. Babe, I brought you this candy- Melina snatches the microphone from the Commissioner as she rolls her eyes.Melina: Daytondave- with all due respect- SHUT THE HELL UP! You have no idea how tired we are of your little drama! It's time for you to start acting like a man! If you want to win Christy back, you stop with the flowers and the candy, you show some kahones, stand up to that floosy Val and show her the gate once and for all! Maybe then she will see you for a man and not for a lame little scared coward. The music "Beverly Hills" by Weezer plays as SO CAL VAL strides to ringside, accompanied by BRENT ALBRIGHT. Val struts around the ring as Daytondave shuffles nervously. Melina scowls at Val as she takes the microphone.Val: Listen here, Melina, you little Cootie Queen- what happens in my personal life is not your business! Daytondave is a big boy now, and he doesn't need the likes of you telling him how to behave. So why don't you just step out of my space and take Mr. Muscle back to his cage! Melina: Who are you calling a cootie queen, you lint licker! Melina lunges at Val, screeching and slapping at her wildly. But Albright steps in front of Val as Batista restrains Melina. Batista takes Melina by the arm and guides her out of the ring. Val turns to Daytondave and gives him a peck on the cheek. She takes the box of candy from him, then motions to Albright. Albright leads Val out of the ring, holding the ropes for her as she makes her exit.Daytondave: Ummm... Val... those were for.... aw, the hell with it! Let's see some wrestling! (Tonight's referee: Heather Owens)HWA EXHIBITION TOURNAMENTSHARK BOY pinned "AMAZING" PEPPER PARKSShark Boy caught a break in this match and took advantage to win! The match was closely contested before Heather got caught in the middle of a dust-up on the arena floor. She was temporarily shaken up, and Pepper dominated the action after the collision. Parks hit the Pepper Shaker, but Shark Boy kicked out before Heather could make it back into the ring for the three-count. Parks went to the top rope and plastered Shark Boy with a flying bodypress, but Shark Boy rolled through the move and pinned Pepper, catching the three-count just as Heather slid back into the ring. CODY HAWK pinned "BAD ATTITUDE" BRIAN BEECHCody took control of the match early, and kept Beech on the defensive throughout. After overpowering Beech with a series of power moves, Cody put him up for the Muscle Buster and a decisive victory. Daytondave: No big surprises tonight. Shark Boy and Cody Hawk are two of the legends of the HWA, and now they are headed to a second-round showdown! Now, we'll head to the NWA matches for tonight! Our first contest will feature TONY ATLAS taking on BOBO BRAZIL. Atlas has promised a special surprise for tonight- let's see what he's got! Tony Atlas comes to the top of the ramp, accompanied by ROCKY JOHNSON.Atlas: I tell you what I got, Daytondave. I got da coolest dude on the planet! Say hello to my new manager, SLICK!The tune "Jive Soul Bro" plays on the sound system as Slick dances his way down the ramp and into the ring. The Kentucky fans respond with enthusiasm, cheering for Slick and dancing in the aisles.TONY ATLAS (w/ SLICK) defeated BOBO BRAZIL by disqualificationAtlas was invigorated by the "Doctor of Style", taking Brazil head-on and battling around the ring. Atlas kept the match at a slow pace, refraining from letting the action go to the floor and punishing Bobo with the Skullcrusher and the Full Nelson. In frustration, Brazil took the match out of the ring and initiated a wild brawl! Atlas looked to get into the fisticuffs, but Slick calmed him down as Brazil continued his rampage. Unable to regain control of the situation, Heather Owens stopped the match and awarded the victory to Atlas by disqualification. Daytondave: That's right, fans, the Reverend Slick is the coolest man on the planet! He proved it tonight, helping Atlas keep his cool and keeping his man from getting disqualified. Slick, brother, You Da Man! DUSTY RHODES defeated BOBBY FULTON by submissionDespite a heavily taped rib cage, Rhodes came out on fire, pummeling Fulton with the Bionic Elbow and keeping his opponent on the mat. Fulton never mounted a serious offense, and Rhodes soon wrapped him up in the Figure-4 and forced the submission. Daytondave: The Dream is still pretty banged up after being thrown off the stage by TERRY GORDY at the last Havoc pay-per-view. Still, he is determined to fight hard every time out, and tonight he took the measure of Bobby Fulton. It will be a tough match when Rhodes and Gordy lock heads, no doubt about it! DICK MURDOCH pinned DELIRIOUSAfter a frenetic match, Murdoch managed to slow down the masked wildman and put him on the canvas with a crushing Brainbuster to score the victory. Daytondave: Here's a guy who has really picked up his game. After Rhodes and Windham went down, Murdoch has spearheaded the Mavericks, and hooked them up with THE BLACKJACKS. These bad dudes from Texas have taken the aggressors role in the feud with the Horsemen and Murdoch has been at the center of the action! Now let's look at the Blackjacks in their first tag team action since they dropped the World Titles at Heartland Havoc. THE BLACKJACKS defeated THE BRISCOE BROTHERS (w/ SARA DEL REY)In a very competitive matchup, the Briscoes and Blackjacks both looked crisp. Frequent tags and counters from both teams kept the match fast-paced and close, until Blackjack Lanza exploded on Mark Briscoe. Lanza dropped Mark with a huge Texas piledriver, then drove a mammoth falling knee into the chest, putting him down for the three-count as Mulligan intercepted Jay's attempt at a save. Daytondave: It has been a fine night for the Texas Mavericks! Rhodes, Murdoch, and the Blackjacks have all come away winners! Now, we have a special challenge match! THE MOUNTIE has demanded a shot at KEN PATERA after the incident which took place in Georgetown, Kentucky, earlier this week. Christy, my dear, let's take a look at that footage! CHRISTY HEMME appears on camera. She is dressed in a baggy sweatshirt, her hair is dishelved, and she wears no make-up or lipstick. Her eyes are reddened and it appears she has been crying. Without a word, she glares into the camera, then turns away and pushes the button to start the tape. The camera follows Patera down the hallway, where he sees a spray-painted inscription on the wall which says, "GREAT WHITE NORTH SUCKS." After taking several moments to read the graffiti, he continues down the hall to be met by THE MOUNTIE. Mountie: Great White North Sucks? I suppose you're the scoundrel who inscribed that disgusting insignia! Patera: What's an insignia? Mountie: Never mind, then. Have at you! Mountie pulls out his shock stick and jabs at Patera. The Strongman quickly disarms Mountie and clamps him into a full nelson! Mountie: Unhand me, you ruffian! You will pay for your misdeeds, I swear it upon the beauty of Canada herself! Patera drops Mountie to the floor. Mountie grabs his shock stick and scrambles away.SPECIAL CHALLENGE MATCH
KEN PATERA defeated THE MOUNTIE by disqualificationMountie came out with a fury, screaming about the glory of Canada as he began putting the boots to Patera. It didn't take long for the Strong Man to turn the tables and begin pummelling Mountie. Mountie bravely turned his tail and fled the ring, grabbing his shock stick and delivering a stunning blast of voltage! Patera went down, and Heather Owens immediately called for the disqualification. As Mountie stood over Patera, he screamed "Great White North RULES!" As he threatened to shock Patera again, PAUL ORNDORFF rushed to the ring and knocked Mountie down to the mat. The shock stick went flying, and Orndorff began putting the boots to the fallen Canadian. Just as suddenly, a huge figure emerged from the stands, lifting Orndorff off the mat and launching him onto the arena floor with a gorilla press slam! Daytondave: KILLER KOWALSKI! KILLER KOWALSKI! Where did he come from? Orndorff staggered to his feet, then reached under the ropes and pulled Patera to safety. Orndorff pointed at Kowalski, screaming and shaking his fist as he and Patera left the ring area.As Orndorff and Patera departed, a miniature blimp emerged from the rafters and circled the arena. The blimp began dropping red, white, and blue flyers into the crowd. The flyers read, "GREAT WHITE NORTH SUCKS". Mountie retrieved one of the flyers as it landed in the ring, read it, then ripped it to shreds, shaking his fists and shouting at the blimp as it circled over head.Daytondave: Great White North sucks? Fans, I am APPALLED that this type of material is being distributed at a Heartland event. It's pretty obvious that Patera has nothing to do with it, but rest assured, whoever is responsible will pay the price. The Mountie always gets his man! MAIN EVENT: NWA HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
"NATURE BOY" RIC FLAIR (w/ TRACI BROOKS) defeated THE ROCK by submission to retain the title!Flair was at his cruelest and most devious in turning back the challenge of the Rock! The dynamic Rock controlled much of the action, twice wounding Flair badly with the People's Elbow, but Flair managed to escape the ring on both occasions. Not to be denied, Rock kept up the fight, until Flair nailed him with a low blow and followed quickly with a knee drop to Rock's leg! This slowed the challenger, allowing the Nature Boy to launch a methodical attack on the injured leg. Flair surprised Rock with a roll-up, but when Rock kicked out, the champ went immediately to the Figure-4 and force the submission! Daytondave: Wow! Flair was at the top of his game tonight! Just when it seems the odds are totally against him, he comes through with his best match and keeps his title! What a night for Heartland Wrestling! Congratulations to the Nature Boy for an outstanding victory. Friday Night Fury will be pre-empted this week as the Commissioner will be scouting some local talent, but we'll be back next Monday with another episode of Adrenaline that you won't want to miss! As Daytondave finishes his wrap-up, a commotion arises from the Broadbent Arena skyboxes. A cameraman rushes to the skybox. SO CAL VAL is discovered, unconscious and face down on the floor of the skybox. A broken lamp is seen on the floor nearby. Val's bodyguard BRENT ALBRIGHT rushes in. Albright's face and hands are covered in chocolate, and he appears confused about what has happened. EMT's rush into the skybox and begin working on Val, immobilizing her neck and strapping her onto a backboard. Chaos fills the arena, and Val is gently lifted onto a gurney as the show closes.

NWA Heartland Card #121 Luce Center, Asbury, Kentucky March 10, 2008 The show opens with COMMISSIONER DAYTONDAVE standing alone in the ring in a very modest and traditional black suit. Daytondave: Fans, welcome to Monday Night Adrenaline. On behalf of Heartland Wrestling, and the entire NWA, we are deeply distressed by the vicious assault on SO CAL VAL which took place at last week's show. I promise you, fans, that this attack will be thoroughly investigated and the perpetrator will be brought to justice! Daytondave is interrupted by the sound of glass breaking, and the music of STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN. Austin storms to the ring and grabs the microphone from the Commissioner.Austin: Shut the hell up, you lame wine-and-cheese empty suit. I don't believe for one damn minute that you are gonna figure out what happened to my gal Val. Val is a sweet young lady who was kind enough to bail out Stone Cold when you had my ass thrown in the pokey. Now I don't think much of that skinny-legged broad, but Stone Cold Steve Austin knows how to return a favor. Another thing Stone Cold knows is this- if you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself. So, Daytondave, I came back to Kentucky tonight for two reasons. First, I'm gonna find that slimy bastard SHAWN MICHAELS and give him the ass-whippin' of a life time. Then, I'm gonna kick everybody's ass backstage until I find out who attacked So Cal Val. Now, Stone Cold ain't no damn detective, so I brought me some help tonight. Please say hello to the brains of this operation, THE BIG BOSS MAN!Bossman appears at the top of the ramp, twirling his nightstick.Austin: Now here's the deal. While I find Shawn Michaels and open a can of whoop-ass on him, Bossman is gonna have a stroll around backstage. By the end of this show, Bossman will have this little mystery solved and Michaels will be laying in a pool of his own blood. Then me and Bossman will get the hell out of this dry gulch town, go get us some Steveweisers and raise some hell. And that's the bottom line, 'cause Stone Cold Said So! The music starts as Austin and Bossman head backstage.Daytondave: I'm still no fan of that Austin character. He's an embarassment to the sport of professional wrestling, and only a moron like Rob Bennett would allow himself to be represented by the likes of that idiot. Let's get on with the show! Tonight, we are taking a break from the HWA tournament in order to prepare for this Friday's episode of Fury. NWA World Junior X-Division Champion PSICOSIS will be on hand to defend his title, and he needs a challenger. So, for our opening contest, we will have a 10-man cruiserweight battle royal. The winner will receive the title match on Friday night! As the cruiserweights file into the ring, the music "Repined Bastard Nation" by Satyricon plays. Green spotlights fill the arena and MsCHIF storms to ringside, holding the Moolah Memorial trophy. The bizarre woman slides into the ring and crouches low, circling the men and snarling.Daytondave: MsChif! You're not scheduled for this match! This is a men's match- you better get back to the locker room! MsChif glares at Daytondave, then snarls and gestures at him. From behind, DELIRIOUS snatches the microphone from the Commissioner. Delirious: BAH BAH BLAH BAH BAH! BLAH BAH MsCHIF BAH WAH BAH BLAH BAH! WAH GAH 229 POUND WEIGHT LIMIT GAH BLAH BAW BAH! Daytondave: Yes, Delirious, you're right, she is under the weight limit. And if she is intent on getting into the match- I say, let her wrestle! (Tonight's Referee: Joe Kopasz)NWA WORLD JUNIOR X-DIVISION TITLE: #1 CONTENDERS' BATTLE ROYALMARK BRISCOE was backdropped out by JAKE CRISTDAVE CRIST was powered out by SHAWN MICHAELSSHAWN MICHAELS was backjumped and eliminated by MARK BRISCOE while battling with MsCHIFJAY BRISCOE was pitched out by TOMMY ROGERSAUSTIN ARIES and NIGEL McGUINESS brawled fiercely, and both were eliminated by MsCHIF!BOBBY FULTON was dropkicked out of the ring by JAKE CRISTMsCHIF was dropkicked out by TOMMY ROGERS after missing a deathjump DELIRIOUS was suplexed out of the ring by TOMMY ROGERSTOMMY ROGERS was backdropped out of the ring by JAKE CRISTWINNER: JAKE CRISTDaytondave: Wow! That goofy broad didn't do so badly. Heck, the last thing I need right now is ANOTHER angry woman around here. But I am sure that McGuiness and Aries aren't too happy right now. Congratulations to JAKE CRIST for coming out on top! Should be a wonderful high-flying matchup this Friday when he hooks it up with PSICOSIS. Action shifts backstage, where we see THE BIG BOSSMAN in a darkened room, seated at a table. A single bright light hangs over the table, focused on the face of TRACI BROOKS. RIC FLAIR paces nervously outside of the interrogation room, watching through the one-way window as beads of sweat form on Traci's face. Bossman leans menacingly over the table, nightstick in hand.Daytondave: Traci Brooks? Well, she has had quite a rivalry with Val- in fact, those two were booked in a mixed tag match. Could Traci have been the attacker? Bossman will find the answer soon enough. THE MOUNTIE defeated JESSE "THE BODY" VENTURA (w/ MELINA) by disqualificationIt didn't take long for Ventura to overpower the Mountie, sending him scrambling out of the ring! Mountie went for the shock stick, but Jesse beat him to the punch, going on the attack and slamming Mountie face-first onto the steel steps! Joe Kopasz was forced to call for the bell as Mountie went down to the floor. Ventura protested the decision, getting into an angry confrontation with Kopasz. As the confrontation went on, Mountie retrieved his shock stick and zapped Ventura in the back! Jesse went to his knees, stunned, as Melina shrieked. Before she could react, Mountie shocked Ventura a second time and it was lights out for the big man. Mountie smirked at Melina as he departed, leaving Ventura out cold on the arena floor.Daytondave: Ouch! Ventura is down and he is very slow to recover. I can't believe what a ruthless individual this Mountie is. No one is safe when the Mountie is in town! BIG BOSSMAN appears at the top of the ramp. He twirls his nightstick menacingly, then points it at Mountie. Mountie brandishes his shock stick, but Bossman doesn't back down.Mountie: I am a law-abiding citizen and I have nothing to hide! Mountie follows Bossman to the interrogation room.NWA HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: QUALIFYING MATCHTERRY "BAM BAM" GORDY (w/ TRACI BROOKS) pinned AUSTIN ARIESWhat a performance by Gordy! Bam Bam was wrestling with a severe shoulder injury after his encounter with D!CK MURDOCH. Aries was intent on taking advantage, and did a fair amount of damage to his injured opponent. Gordy fought back gamely, managing to score a lariat with his good arm to put Aries down. Gordy had enough strength to nail Aries with the Asiatic Spike, stunning Austin and leaving him vulnerable for another devastating lariat which sealed his fate. Daytondave: To be honest, I didn't give Gordy much of a chance in that match. But once he got that Georgia blood boiling, there was no stopping the big man. Whoa- fans, I have just been informed that there is a commotion in the back. Can we get the camera feed? The scene shifts to the interrogation room, where MELINA is giving Bossman an earful as she storms out of the room. DAVE and JAKE CRIST are waiting outside the door as it flies open.Melina: You piece of trash! Melina doesn't need to backjump some skinny rich girl and she sure don't need no weapons! I have no time for that little floosy, I have much bigger problems. Now you take that nightstick out of my face before I stick it someplace nasty! Get out of my way- I have a match to get to! Dave- Jake- get your butts into the ring- now! I'm tired of watching you two get beat. If you lose tonight, you're fired! Dave and Jake appear shocked, then determined, as they head to the ring. Bossman stands in the doorway of the interrogation room with his hand on his forehead, shaking his head in bewilderment. BATISTA walks past the Bossman and smirks, giving him a pat on the back.Daytondave: Wow, that is one LOUD senorita! Looks like Batista has been down that road once or twice before. Suddenly, tonight's Irish Airborne match has taken on new importance- will the Crist Brothers prevail? Or do they risk losing their manager? THE RUNNIN' BUDDIES (ROCK & BOBO BRAZIL) defeated THE IRISH AIRBORNE (DAVE & JAKE CRIST w/ MELINA)Bobo Brazil was a dominant force tonight, overpowering both of the Crist brothers and beating them down. After a thorough thrashing of Dave, Bobo tagged in Rock for an electrifying People's Elbow for the victory. After the decision, Melina grabbed a microphone and stormed into the ring. Melina: You LOSERS! You stink! I am finished with you! I deserve better than this! Irish Airborne, you are FIRED!Jake: But Melina- I won the battle royal tonight! I am the number one contender to the Junior X-Division Championship! Melina: Oh... yes you are... all right then, Jake, you can stay. Dave, you are still fired! Dave climbs off the mat, arms to his sides, pleading with Melina for another chance. BATISTA hits the ring and levels Dave with a thunderous clothesline! Jake slides out of the ring and pulls his brother to safety as Melina and Batista scowl.Daytondave: I guess that's the end of Melina's "pet project". She is having a rough night tonight! But what did she mean when she told Bossman she had "bigger problems"? Could she have been referring to CHRISTOPHER DANIELS? As you may recall, Daniels attacked Batista at a recent event. We'd love to show you the footage, but I'm afraid there is too much chaos back stage, and frankly I don't even know where CHRISTY HEMME is tonight. I apologize for the confusion back there, but I think it's worth the sacrifice if we can bring Val's attacker to justice. Anyhow, fans, we have THREE intense grudge matches to bring you tonight, starting with the feud between Batista and Daniels! GRUDGE MATCH
BATISTA (w/ MELINA) pinned CHRISTOPHER DANIELSThe Animal dominated and destroyed Daniels, pounding him repeatedly into the canvas with powerslams and spinebusters. As Daniels staggered to his feet, Batista hammered him with a Spear and pinned him cleanly. Daytondave: Looks like Daniels bit off more than he could chew. Batista nearly broke him in half! The scene shifts backstage, where Bossman is having a conversation with BRENT ALBRIGHT. Albright still has remnants of chocolate throughout his beard. Bossman shakes his head and shows him the door.GRUDGE MATCH
THE HORSEMEN (ARN ANDERSON & TULLY BLANCHARD w/ TRACI BROOKS) defeated THE BLACKJACKSBlackjack Lanza took the beating of a lifetime from the Horsemen. After cornering Lanza, they isolated him and took turns wearing him out. Blanchard delivered a textbook Slingshot Suplex, then taunted Mulligan as Anderson took over with a hammerlock slam. Blanchard went into his trunks for a foreign object and opened a nasty gash on Lanza's forehead! Enraged, Mulligan charged into the ring , but Anderson caught him with a drop toe-hold to send him sprawling. As Kopasz put Mulligan out of the ring, the Horsemen put Lanza up into a Double Gourd Buster and dropped him hard to the canvas for an easy pinfall. After the match, Anderson and Blanchard continued to put the boots to Lanza, but Mulligan hit the ring and sent Blanchard over the top rope with a running lariat! Anderson quickly slid out of the ring, pointing and screaming at Mulligan as he assisted his bloody partner Lanza to his feet.Daytondave: Wow! The bad blood between the Horsemen and these Texas Mavericks continues to flow. I don't think we've seen the last bloodshed of this feud by a long shot! More commotion arises from backstage. The Big Bossman has a figure in a hooded sweatshirt draped across the interrogation table. Bossman applies the handcuffs and drags the suspect out to a waiting police car. As he takes the perpetrator by the back of the neck, to push the head into the back seat of the squad car, he pulls back the hood to reveal the identity of the criminal... CHRISTY HEMME! The crowd gasps as Bossman shoves Christy into the car and slams the door.Daytondave: Fans.... I am.... shocked.... stunned... Christy, I promise you we will get you free... we'll find you a top-notch lawyer... Daytondave is interrupted by the sound of breaking glass and the music of STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN. Austin strides to the announce table and grabs the microphone.Austin: Shut the hell up already, Romeo! Your little girlfriend just couldn't take the competition, so she had to take action! Geeminees, Daytondave, that little 100-pound waif is more of a man than you are! Now quit your yappin and your whining and get SHAWN MICHAELS out here so I can open up a can of whoop-ass on his sorry carcass! The music "Sexy Boy" plays overhead and Michaels appears at the top of the ramp.Michaels: Here I am, Austin! I ain't a hard guy to find! Michaels charges down the ramp and leaps onto Austin with a Thesz press. Austin goes down and Michaels beging pummeling him with lefts and rights. Joe Kopasz calls for the bell and the match is underway!GRUDGE MATCH
STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN pinned SHAWN MICHAELSIn a wild brawl, Austin took out Joe Kopasz in the opening moments and all bets were off! Michaels held nothing back, wailing away at Austin with punches and forearms, and using the ropes to his benefit repeatedly. Austin stood his ground, taking everything that HBK had to offer and firing back with punches and kicks. Austin turned the tables, grabbing a charging Michaels and dropping him throat-first across the top rope! Austin began to overpower Michaels, slamming him hard to the canvas. With both men exhausted and gasping, referee Kopasz finally made it back to his feet. As Michaels staggered to his feet, Austin came off the second rope with a Diving Elbow drop and pinned HBK cleanly! After the pinfall, Austin continued to pound away at Michaels! HBK covered up, trying to protect himself as Austin rained punches onto his head and face. Moments later, RIC FLAIR stormed the ring and attacked Austin! Fists were flying wildly as Austin and Flair went at it. BRENT ALBRIGHT charged the ring and began duking it out with Michaels. Before long, all four Horsemen were mixing it up as D!CK MURDOCH and THE BLACKJACKS entered the fray. All ten men brawled furiously, with Austin and Flair at the center of the action. The fracas raged on, out of control, when suddenly the music of BATISTA blared over the speakers. The Animal stood at the top of the ramp, while MELINA strutted to ringside.Melina entered the ring in the middle of the melee. As Flair had Austin trapped in the corner in a choke hold, Melina moved behind the Nature Boy and caught him with a low blow! Flair doubled over, and Austin immediately dropped him with a stunner! The rest of the brawlers stopped, watching Melina as she approached Austin. Stone Cold appeared confused, until Melina reached into her blouse and pulled out a piece of paper- the receipt from Austin's bail bond! Austin grinned, and called for beers. Two Steveweisers were thrown into the ring, and Austin cracked them both open, drinking one and handing one to Melina, who chugged it down with a smile. At the top of the ramp, Batista smirked, and motioned to Flair, hands around his waist, indicating his intention to wear the Heartland Heavyweight Championship!Daytondave: Melina has just assaulted Ric Flair! She has revealed herself to be the source of Steve Austin's bail money! Do you believe it! That witch has sided with Stone Cold Steve Austin- and Batista is after the belt! What a shocking revelation! Fans, we definitely need some time to sort this out. We are going to call it a night- but we'll be back Friday night with another episode of Fury, as PSICOSIS takes on JAKE CRIST for the NWA World Junior X-Division Championship! Until then, fans, that's out show and I AM OUTTA HERE!As the show closes, the camera shifts to the back parking lot, as the police car containing BIG BOSSMAN and CHRISTY HEMME slowly pulls away from the arena. As the car departs, a spray-painted logo is seen on the back of the vehicle, bearing the inscription, "GREAT WHITE NORTH SUCKS".
