Card #210 - 01/12/2007 War Memorial Arena - Johnstown, PA
1. Danny Doring dq Chris Candido Quick bout that saw Candido pin Doring using an object handed to him by Steve Corino. Justin Credible pointed it out to the referee, who found the object and reversed the decision.
2. Iron Mike DiBiase & Bob Orton, Sr. b S.D. Jones & Virgil Rematch from last week with Jones still smarting from Orton's ringside piledriver. This was a one-sided affair that saw Orton use the Piledriver to pin Philadelphia's favorite son. Red Bastien ran-in to help when it appeared there might be some post-match shenanigans by DiBiase & Orton.
3. Rick Rude b Billy "Red" Lyons Rude blamed his DQ loss at SB4 on Lyons, and got a measure of revenge. He used the Rude Awakening for the pin, and gyrated over a fallen Lyons afterward, much to the dismay of the Johnstown Jugheads.
4. Yukon Eric b Masked Executioner #2 This was a long defensive struggle between two behemoths. Yukon always had a slight edge, and finally won with the Kodiak Krunch after wearing his opponent down. Yukon's partner Danny Hodge beat Executioner #1 on the last show, so they have momentum going into the tag title match next week.
5. Diamond Dallas Page & King Kong Bundy b Antonino Rocca & Ilio DiPaolo This was a great match. It looked like the bout was over when Rocca hoisted Bundy into the Argentinian Backbreaker, but DDP made a big save. The tide turned and Rocca was beaten down by Avalanches and Diamond Cutters. Ilio finally tagged in, but it was like a handicap bout with the Nerw Jersey duo, and he was eventually pinned with a Diamond Cutter.
6. Larry Zbyszko dq Jimmy Valiant Zbyszko hit the Piledriver four times during the match, which he dominated thanks to Heenan's sneak attack at the opening bell. Mad Dog Vachon came out to save Valiant on a pin attempt, allowing Valiant to make a comeback. The Boogie Man was fired up, but got DQ'd after using a chair that Heenan had slid in the ring for Zbyszko to use.
7. World League Challenge: Killer Kowalski (CAN) b Mad Dog Vachon (ALG) Former NWF wrestler Kowalski made his return a triumphant one. After missing an early Bombs Away kneedrop, Kowalski was on target later, using the move to finish off Mad Dog in this crazy brawl that saw several near DQ's
8. The Sheik & Sabu dq Jimmy Snuka & Don Leo Jonathan Jonathan has had ring wars with both Sabu and The Sheik. Snuka meets Sheik next week as part of the WLC, and again the following week for the North American Title. No Abdullah Farouk at ringside. This was a wild one, with the ref giving everyone a lot of leeway. Snuka got busted open by Sheik in what turned out to be a pier six (perhaps even pier seven) brawl all over the place. Ref finally had to DQ Jonathan, who was repeatedly pounding Sheik's forehead with the North American Title.
9. NWF Championship: Nick Bockwinkel b The Crusher (Texas Death Match) Before the bell there was a six-man altercation where Crusher got blindsided with a chair shot to the face by...the Missing Link! Link has returned to the NWF as the Heenan Family bodyguard. Heenan sees Link as a simpleton who he can use to do his bidding. The match saw a woozy Crusher be no match for a well rested and confident Nick Bockwinkel (boo!) who retained the title using his Bockwinkel Sleeper.
Bock and The Sheik just keep on rolling! How much longer can they keep it up? Only time will tell!
Next week we settle in at the Uniontown High School Gym for some great NWF action: * The main event has Lou Albano's Masked Executioners defending the tag titles against the odd couple of Yukon Eric & Danny Hodge! Yukon & Hodge have yet to be pinned in tag action. *Jimmy Snuka (FIJ) faces the evil Sheik (SYR) in the World League Challenge as a prelude to their North American title match the following week! Can Snuka be the one to finally end the reign of terror? * The Crusher looks for some revenge against the man he feels cost him the NWF Title, the Missing Link! * S.D Jones gets a well deserved rest as Red Bastien will team with Virgil to take on Mike DiBiase & Bob Orton! * Justin Credible squares off against nemesis Steve Corino. Will this FINALLY be Credible's first singles pinfall win against his rival? * Mad Dog Vachon & Jimmy Valiant tackle Ray Stevens & Larry Zbyszko! Can Vachon bounce back from his WLC loss and take out his frustration on the Heenan Family?
All this and much more is just seven days away...

If the Kurt Backes thing was reverse psychology, you must have REALLY been putting the bad mouth on Cael Sanderson when he was wrestling as ISU! Backes lost to a freshman at Nebraska on Saturday night, 4-3. Got taken down with about 25 seconds left in the match. ISU still won the dual, 25-12. Nick Fanthorpe had a nice come from behind win over the #8 rated wrestler in his weight class, kid had a record of 23-2.

Card #211 - 01/19/07 Uniontown High School Gym - Uniontown, PA
The NWF was back in historic Uniontown, PA for yet another card of exciting action!
1. Magnificent Muraco b Billy "Red" Lyons Muraco has been quiet since losing two out of three to Don Leo Jonathan, but came out of the gates like a man possessed in this match. Have no doubt that Muraco is back, and looking to reclaim his status as a top contender for both singles titles.
2. Iron Mike DiBiase & Bob Orton, Sr. cor Red Bastien & Virgil With regular partner S.D. Jones recovering from his recent neck trauma from Orton, Virgil had Red Bastien fill in. Orton, who now insists on being introduced as "the King of the Piledriver" was responsible for the finish. He buried Virgil with his lethal finisher outside the ring, causing the count out.
3. Antonino Rocca b King Kong Bundy Stunning quick pin as Bundy missed a clothesline, Rocca grabbed his arm and slithered onto Bundy's shoulders. He rolled the big man up in a modified victory roll for the win. The crowd went crazy, but Bundy was not a happy camper, throwing all sorts of plunder around ringside before heading back to the locker room.
4. The Crusher b Missing Link After getting brained with a chair shot by Link before his NWF title shot on the last show, Crusher was fired up. The cigar chomping buzzsaw was all over the Heenan Family's new bodyguard. Link turned things around, but Crusher made a big comeback and won with the Bolo Punch. In addition to his battles with the Heenan Family, Crusher is also looking to settle an old score with Mike DiBiase in the near future.
5. Steve Corino b Justing Credible Justin Credible is just cursed in singles against Corino. In six bouts, he managed one DQ win and five pinfall or submission losses. He just can't put Corino's shoulders down in a singles match. Corino controlled most of the bout and won with the Victory Plex.
6. Ray Stevens & Larry Zbyszko b Mad Dog Vachon & Jimmy Valiant Despite coming from two very successful tag-teams, Vachon and Valiant are having trouble combining their styles. That said, this decision was a total miscarraige of justice! Mad Dog had Zbyszko pinned after a Piledriver, but Heenan grabbed Vachon's leg and pulled him out of the ring during the count. As the ref tried to restrain a fired up Boogie Woogie Man, Stevens and Missing Link beat the tar out of Vachon, including one of Link's devastating chair shots. Once back in the ring, Stevens hit the Bombs away for the pin on Mad Dog while Link and Zbyszko had turned their attention to double-teaming Valiant at ringside.
7. Ilio DiPaolo dq Diamond Dallas Page The rubber match between these two wound up with an inconclusive finish. Page decked the ref, who was continually warning DDP for his cheating, giving the hugely popular DiPaolo the DQ victory.
8. World League Challenge: The Sheik (SYR) b Jimmy Snuka (FIJ) The two hottest singles wrestlers in the NWF met in the first round of the WLC. Both had won their last five sanctioned matches, which doesn't include Sheik's loss to Bobo Brazil at SB4. This match was the debut of Abdullah Farouk at ringside, which made all the difference in the world. After some back and forth brawling, Snuka hit a big Superfly, but Farouk distracted the ref. That allowed Sheik to roast Snuka with a Fireball and get the win. These two meet again next week for Sheik's North American Title. Will Snuka still be feeling the effects of the fire, or will he be even more determined to end the Sheik's unholy reign of terror?
9. NWF Tag-Team Championship: Masked Executioners cor Yukon Eric & Danny Hodge The undefeated odd couple of Yukon and Hodge had worked their way up the tag ranks and earned a title shot at Albano's behemoths. This was a tight contest until the size and power of the Executioners caught up to Hodge. To Hodge's credit, he took one heck of a beating, but refused to stop fighting. Executioner #1 rammed the weary junior heavyweight legend's head into the ringpost, resulting in a count out win where Hodge was stopped from beating the 10 count by Albano.
Whew! The action is already at a fever pitch, and we're only three cards into the new year!
Next week we travel to Fairmoint, WV for a card at the Marion County Rec Center. Here's what is on the bill: * The Sheik defends the North American Title against Jimmy Snuka. Snuka was having some vision problems after the show, but has vowed revenge on the Sheik in Fairmont! * In a severe clash of wrestling styles, Jim Londos (GRE) meets "The Terrible Turk" Youssuf Ishmaelo (TUR) in the next WLC match! * Diamond Dallas Page & King Kong Bundy face Antonino Rocca & Ilio DiPaolo in a tag match with elimination rules! DDP and Bundy have not fared well against the NWF's most popular duo. * S.D. Jones is back, and he's looking for revenge against "the King of the Piledriver" Bob Orton! * Danny Hodge tries to prove that it's not the size of the dog in the fight as he battles Masked Executioner #1 in singles action! *Mad Dog Vachon & Jimmy Valiant square off against the Heenan Family's top tag-team of Nick Bockwinkel (boo!) & Ray Stevens!
All this and much more in a mere seven days...

Payback -
I use the venues that Pedro Martinez' NWF actually ran back in the 70's. Kayfabe Memories helped out a lot doing the research. I even use the North Laurel Junior High School Gym in PA!
It's just part of the NWF experience. ;D

Housekeeping notes:
1. At some in the near future, I plan on moving the NWF title histories and "Sheik's Unholy Reign of Terror" detail to one of the sub boards. That way I don't have to update old pages that no one probably goes back to read anyways.
2. Just signed for Card #213 in two weeks: NWF Champion Nick Bockwinkel (boo!) defends against Don Leo Jonathan! The WLC match on that show will be Ilio DiPaolo (ITA) vs. George Hackenschmidt (EST).

Card #212 - 01/26/07 Marion County Rec Center - Fairmont, WV
1. Iron Mike DiBiase b Danny Doring Doring had his moments, but DiBiase was mostly in control, and won after two straight Top Rope Kneedrops.
2. Bob Orton, Sr. b S.D. Jones "The King of the Piledriver" beat Jones with...the Piledriver in a lackluster match, probably hurt by S.D.'s aching neck. Virgil wasn't at ringside for his partner, and it appears that the two may be having some problems getting along.
3. Magnificent Muraco & Rick Rude b The Flying Redheads Match was pretty even until the ref got bumped. Rude & Muraco took advantage of the situation, punishing both Redheads with illegal tactics. By the time a new ref arrived, the damage was done. Muraco pinned Bastien with the Hawaiian Hammer, while partner Rude taunted the Fairmont Fatheads.
4. Masked Executioner #1 b Danny Hodge A rematch from the Hodge victory two weeks ago. Outstanding match! #1 put a beating on Hodge during the tag title bout last week, and continued it here. He looked like an easy winner, but Hodge never quits. Hodge made the masked man submit to an abdominal stretch, but the ref was distracted by Albano. Hodge released the hold, and #2 entered the ring and rammed Hodge in the stomach with a steel chair. As the ref regained his focus, #1 used the stomach claw to get the win.
5. Don Leo Jonathan b Missing Link With Jonathan challenging Bockwinkel for the NWF Title on the next show, Heenan set Link after the big man to soften him up. The Brain started the match at ringside, but was chased to the back by Mad Dog Vachon, allowing Jonathan to make short work of Heenan's bodyguard, winning with the Mormon Swing.
6. Antonino Rocca & Ilio DiPaolo b Diamond Dallas Page & King Kong Bundy (Elimination Match) Really good action in this one. First fall went on a long time with all kinds of near falls and drama. Finally, DDP used a swinging neckbreaker to pin Ilio. This left Rocca at a disadvantage, although DiPaolo stayed at ringside. That paid off, as he pulled down the top rope after Rocca drilled Bundy with a dropkick, sending the big man tumbling to the floor. Bundy was counted out, evening up the match. Rocca used his aerial attack to befuddle DDP, and won with the Argentinian Backbreaker to the delight of the screaming fans!
7. World League Challenge: Jim Londos (GRE) b Youssuf Ishmaelo (TUR) The Terrible Turk caused Londos fits early with his questionable tactics, but Londos adapted well. He got the big man up twice for the Airplane Spin, but couldn't finish him off. Once it went to the mat, Londos was superior and cranked on the Boston Crab for the win.
8. Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens b Mad Dog Vachon & Jimmy Valiant Valiant got trapped in a two on one situation as Missing Link pulled Vachon off the ring apron to start a brawl between the two. Bockwinkel & Stevens worked Valiant over the entire match, with Stevens scoring the pinfall after a Bombs Away.
9. North American Championship: The Sheik b Jimmy Snuka Snuka came to the ring with a bandage over one eye, still reeling from the effects of the fireball from the last show. Snuka was fired up, but his impaired vision did him in. Sheik kept attacking from the blind side, and Snuka had little defense. Eventually, Sheik was able to lock in the Camel Clutch for the win. Snuka was enraged and demanded a rematch in February when his sight had cleared.
What a stunning end to the first month of 2007! Can anyone end The Sheik's unholy reign of terror? It appears the Superbowl setback hasn't phased him at all.
We start February off with a big show at the Cleveland Arena! Here's the current lineup: * The Flying Redheads battle Ravishing Rick Rude and manager Lou Albano in tag action! * Mad Dog Vachon faces Missing Link! Don't look for much Greco-Roman action in this one! * In a huge six-man confrontation, tag champs the Masked Executioners partner with...The Sheik!?! They'll square off against Yukon Eric, Danny Hodge and Superfly Jimmy Snuka! *The Crusher starts his quest for revenge against Mike DiBiase in tag action! The Man who Made Milwaukee Famous teams with Danny Doring to take on DiBiase and Bob Orton! * The first round of the WLC continues as Ilio DiPaolo (ITA) meets former NWF star George Hackenschmidt (EST)! * Antonino Rocca has another bout with giant King Kong Bundy! * The big main event will see NWF Champion Nick Bockwinkel (boo!) face Don Leo Jonathan! It will be Jonathan's first time challenging for the title. Jonathan feels his title shot is long overdue, and you can bet he'll do anything he can to win the championship gold!
We'll kick off February is a scant seven days, but January rankings will be up even sooner!

Card #213 - 02/02/2007 Cleveland Arena - Cleveland, OH
1. Playboy Buddy Rose b Virgil Rough night for Virgil, who was pinned by the Bombs Away in this one-sided bout. S.D. Jones was not at ringside for his partner, and there are rumors swirling that Virgil blames Jones for the teams poor record.
2. Flying Redheads cor Rick Rude & Lou Albano Completely one-sided affair as the Redheads had both opponents wearing the crimson mask. There were tags by both Albano & Rude that the other wasn't expecting, and there was no continuity for them at all. After being bounced around the entire match, both men decided to flee to the safety of the dressing room. Officially, Albano was counted out, as he was the legal man in the ring at the time.
3. Jimmy Valiant b Larry Zbyszko Great performance by Valiant, who took advantage of every possible opportunity and handed Zbyszko his second pinfall/submission loss since entering the NWF. Despite Heenan saving the Living Legend twice, Valiant locked in the Sleeper for the win.
4. Iron Mike DiBiase & Bob Orton, Sr. b The Crusher & Danny Doring Doring never made it in the ring. DiBiase & Orton jumped Crusher at the bell and dumped Doring to the floor. Adding insult to injury was DiBiase getting the pinfall with a Top Rope Kneedrop after much double-teaming. Crusher was hotter than ever after the result, and is eager to meet DiBiase one-on-one.
5. Mad Dog Vachon b Missing Link Just a crazy brawl between two crazy brawlers. More action outside the ring than inside. Finish saw Vachon hit the double foot stomp for the win. He then chased Heenan around ringside and back to the locker room.
6. Antonino Rocca b King Kong Bundy Bundy's demand for a 5 count cost him a win, as Rocca kicked out at 4 1/2 after an Avalanche.Rocca kept out of harm's way for the remainder of the match, using his unique aerial tactics to mystify Bundy. Rocca won with the flying headscissors to take the rubber match in this series.
7. World League Challenge: George Hackenschmidt (EST) b Ilio DiPaolo (ITA) Great scientific encounter between two powerhouses who can work on the mat. Ilio almost had Hack beaten twice, but the Estonian showed great heart as he came back to win with an explosive wristlock suplex.
8. Yukon Eric, Danny Hodge & Jimmy Snuka dq Masked Executioners & The Sheik With both Farouk and a bandaged up Albano at ringside, it appeared the fan favorites were really at a disadvantage. Sheik seemed distracted, and never tagged in. Perhaps he's worried that Snuka has been granted another shot at his North American Title once his vision fully clears. Finish saw Albano get DQ'd for pulling the referee out of the ring when Yukon had #2 locked up in the Kodiak Krunch.
9. NWF Championship: Nick Bockwinkel b Don Leo Jonathan Two of the most successful wrestlers in the NWF's history met for the first time. It was Jonathan's first time challenging for the NWF Title. He had always claimed he was held back, and had his chance tonight. This was an early match of the year candidate. Jonathan got jumped by Ray Stevens in the aisle, leading to Bockwinkel (boo!) having a big advantage. He kept working the Bockwinkel Sleeper, but Jonathan would fight out. Then the groggy big man would mount a comeback and get a near fall. Jonathan twisted his ankle on a missed top rope sledgehammer, so Bockwinkel switched gears and started going after the leg. Jonathan just kicked out of pin attempt after pin attempt before being trapped in the Figure 4 Leglock and having to submit after several minutes.
Another great show, with a spectacular main event! Now it's time to get on Route 90 and head east to Rochester, NY for next week's show! Here's the current lineup:
* S.D. Jones & Virgil try to put aside their differences as they face the Riviera Playboys in tag-team action! * Billy "Red" Lyons gets a singles bout with Rick Rude after this show's exciting tag battle. Can he keep Rude inside the ring in Rochester? * The Crusher finally gets Iron Mike DiBiase alone in the ring! Can he get his revenge and avoid "the King of the Piledriver" Bob Orton in the process? * Don Leo Jonathan squares off against Heenan Family member Ray Stevens. After his incredible performance here tonight, can he do enough to get one more chance at Bockwinkel? * The World League Challenge continues with the Iron Sheik (IRI) facing Dr. Death Steve Williams (USA)! Can Doc get the best of this evil foreigner? Remember, Nick Bockwinkel felt he got the shaft when Williams was named the USA rep in the tournament. Has he gotten over it, or is there still some underlying bitterness? * The main event will see a rematch for the NWF Tag-Team Championship as the Masked Executioners defend against Yukon Eric & Danny Hodge!
All this and much more next week at the War Memorial in Rochester!

Mad Dog Vachon & Jimmy Valiant face Heenan Family members Larry Zbyszko & Missing Link!
Also, Diamond Dallas Page gets another match with popular Ilio DiPaolo! They have split pinfall wins, and Ilio has a DQ victory as well. Can the Buffalo native win yet again?

Card #214 - 02/09/2007 War Memorial - Rochester, NY
It was a picture perfect night for wrestling in Rochester, the worldwide corporate headquarters of Eastman Kodak (the official film supplier of the NWF)! Let's get right to the action...
1. Riviera Playboys b S.D. Jones & Virgil Tension between Jones & Virgil had been growing, and reached a boiling point here. Jones was pinned quickly after a Bombs Away from Buddy Rose. Virgil refused to tag in or attempt a pin save. Tempers flared after the bell, with Jones & Virgil trading blows. Virgil was coming out on the short end of the exchange, and rolled out of the ring and walked out on his former partner.
2. Billy "Red" Lyons dq Rick Rude The Ravishing One was looking for a little payback after Lyons had put a beatng on him during last week's tag match. Rude was the better brawler, but Lyons was all over him when the two were on the mat. Rude couldn't put Lyons away, and resorted to using a foreign object, which was spotted by the ref for the DQ. No win for Rude in front of the Rochester Rednecks.
3. Justin Credible & Danny Doring dq Steve Corino & Bob Orton, Sr. With Crusher taking on DiBiase later in the show, Orton chose Corino as a partner, knowing Corino is in Credible's head. Once Corino got in against Doring, he wasted no time in doing some damage while taunting Credible, who has yet to pin Corino in a singles match. He got a little carried away, and was DQ'd for choking Doring with the microphone cord.
4. Ilio DiPaolo b Diamond Dallas Page The ever-popular Ilio has gotten the best of DDP, winning three of four matches against the highly touted grappler. Page's tag partner King Kong Bundy tried to interfere when DDP was in the Airplane Spin, but got knocked off the apron by DDP's legs spinning around.
5. The Crusher b Iron Mike DiBiase Crusher was fired up, but kept getting distracted by Orton at ringside. DiBiase was in command as a result, and may have been on the verge of winning when Justin Credible snuck in the ring and whacked DiBiase in the back of the neck with the Singapore Cane! A little revenge from earlier in the show for Credible. That allowed Crusher to come back and win with the Crusher Nelson.
6. Mad Dog Vachon & Jimmy Valiant dq Larry Zbyszko & Missing Link Wildman Link and Jimmy Valiant spent more time brawling outside the ring than wrestling inside it. That was the case whenever these two were involved, and it wound up with Link getting DQ'd for using a steel chair on the Boogie Woogie Man.
7. Ray Stevens b Don Leo Jonathan After an early Match of the Year candidate against Bockwinkel last week, Jonathan was looking to put a hurtin' on Bock's tag partner. This was another great match with DLJ taking an early beating thanks to Heenan's ringside shenanigans. This was a long match where DLJ would make comebacks, but could never quite overcome that early damage. Heenan's relentless dirty tactics gave Stevens the chance to steal the win with a Bombs away in this marathon.
8. World League Challenge: Iron Sheik (IRI) b "Doctor Death" Steve Williams (USA) You don't need much booking acumen to know that USA vs. Iran = controversy. Before the bout even started, Williams had issues with Bockwinkel. The NWF Champ felt that he should have been the U.S. representative in the WLC. Words between the two had been exchanged backstage shortly after Doc arrived at the arena. Right before the match, Williams was attacked by Bockwinkel, Stevens & Heenan! They laid Doc out with repeated chair shots to the back. Williams was advised by the ringside physician not to wrestle, but came out for his match anyway. The beating he had suffered made him an easy target, and the referee had to stop the match when Williams was locked in the Iron Sheik's Camel Clutch and was unable to defend himself.
9. NWF Tag-Team Championship: Yukon Eric & Danny Hodge b Masked Executioners After a near riot after the last match, there was a brief intermission before the main event to calm the crowd down somewhat. This was a rematch from January 19th, where Hodge was battered and counted out. This time, Hodge again took some punishment, but he and Yukon weathered the storm and came back. Yukon was cleaning house and tagged to Hodge, who was all over #1. Albano was unable to work his usual tag-team magic, and could only watch as Hodge nailed #1 with a standing dropkick to score the fall! The unlikely duo of Yukon Eric & Danny Hodge are the new NWF Tag-Team Champions!
Amazing...it was another crazy night of NWF action! You never know what's going to happen! What's up with that no good Nick Bockwinkel (boo!) attacking Steve Williams?? There are already discussions to sign Williams to an NWF contract once his current obligations are met. He's aching to get his hands on Bockwinkel, so those negotiations look like a slam dunk. But for now, we can celebrate the crowning of new tag champs with some fine Utica Club beer - because that's where we'll be next week - Utica, NY! Matches signed:
* S.D Jones battles former partner Virgil! * The Crusher teams with Justin Credible to take on Mike DiBiase and self-proclaimed "King of the Piledriver" Bob Orton! * Look for the fists to fly as Jimmy Valiant hooks it up with Heenan Family bodyguard Missing Link! * The WLC continues as the NWF's own Antonino Rocca (ARG) faces "The Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff (RUS)! * Don Leo Jonathan & Mad Dog Vachon have their work cut out for them against NWF Champion Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens! * The big main event has The Sheik putting the North American Title on the line against "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka, whose vision is now 100% after the dastardly fireball attack in mid-January!
All this plus the Masked Executioners attempt to rebound after losing the tag titles, and much more! It's only a week away!

Page's tag partner King Kong Bundy tried to interfere when DDP was in the Airplane Spin, but got knocked off the apron by DDP's legs spinning around. Will Bundy never learn? Too bad for "Dr. Death"! Getting booted out of the tourney early. Hopefully he can get revenge on the evil Heenan Family!

Nice way to write up the Iron Sheik's upset over Dr. Death. ;D Can't wait to see Steve get his hands on the Heenan Family. Shocking loss for the MAsked Executioners. I see them getting the belts back soon though. One more match in the WLC opening round. I gotta go with Rocca in this one. Thanks for my NWF fix Tim.

TM - actually two first round matches left, as Antonio Inoki (JPN) faces Nikolai Volkoff (CRO) on Card #216 from The Aud in Buffalo.
And hey, we're getting a little ahead of ourselves, but...speaking of Card #216...
The main event has been announced! After his incredible performance against NWF Champ Nick Bockwinkel (boo!) on February 2nd, Don Leo Jonathan will get one more chance at the gold! Bobby "the Brain" Heenan has made it clear that if Bockwinkel wins, there will be no more rematches for the Mormon Giant!
Also, in the continuing saga of "Will Justin Credible EVER pin Steve Corino?" - a Texas Death Match between the two has been added to the show! Will this be the thrilling victory for Credible, or just another agonizing defeat??

Card #215 - 02/16/2007 Memorial Auditorium - Utica, NY
1. S.D. Jones b Virgil The undercard tag-team has now become the undercard singles feud! The fans are behind "Philadelphia's Favorite Son" in this one. Jones was all over Virgil, and won with his third Headbutt of the bout.
2. Yukon Eric b Koko B. Ware These two met a few tmes in late 2006 and traded decisions. This time, it was power beating speed. Koko never recovered from an early Kodiak Krunch attempt, and even with Sherri Martel's interference was unable to get the big man in trouble. A running tackle took the wind out of Koko and ended the match.
3. Iron Mike DiBiase & Bob Orton, Sr. b The Crusher & Justin Credible Not much offense from the makeshift team of Crusher & Credible. DiBiase got his shots in on Crusher, but "King of the Piledriver" Bob Orton did a lot of damage to Credible. Just as Credible seemed to be making a comeback, he was distracted by arch rival Steve Corino, who had come to ringside. That allowed DiBiase to drop him and hit the Top Rope Kneedrop for the win. DiBiase & Orton remain unbeaten (5-0) so far in 2007.
4. Danny Hodge dq Rick Rude The Masked Executioners were at ringside with Albano. It appeared Rude was under orders from Albano to injure Hodge for the upcoming tag title rematch in two weeks. Hodge kept reversing whenever Rude would get him down. Finally, he took one of the tag title belts and blasted Hodge with it for the DQ. Yukon Eric & Jimmy Snuka hit the ring to make sure no further damage was done.
5. Missing Link cor Jimmy Valiant Valiant was not happy about Link nailing him with a chair shot on last week's show. He'll be lucky if he can even remember this match, as Link was able to get in FIVE chair shots over the course of the bout! The last one sent Valiant tumbling through the ropes to the floor where he was counted out. He had to be helped (almost dragged) to the back by Crusher & Mad Dog Vachon. There is no joy in Boogie Woogie-ville tonight.
6. Flying Redheads dq Masked Executioners Tough test for the Executioners one week after losing the titles. The Redheads had been itching for another shot at Albano's behemoths since losing the belts to them in July 2006. This one had the feel of the teams' 2006 Tag-Team Match of the Year but was cut short when #1 had Bastien tied up in the ropes. He kept pounding him until the ref had no choice but to call for the DQ. Albano was waving to the locker room, and Magnificent Muraco came out to join the brawl! Once again, it was Jimmy Snuka joining the party that stopped things from getting out of hand.
7. World League Challenge: Antonino Rocca (ARG) b Ivan Koloff (RUS) The popular Rocca had the crowd behind him in a big way. Koloff, making his debut in the area, had a tough time with Rocca's unique offensive style. Rocca won with a top rope dropkick to delight the fans. Despite what could be looked at as a poor showing, it appeared that Lou Albano was scouting Koloff as a potential future NWF signing.
8. Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens b Don Leo Jonathan & Mad Dog Vachon Vachon wound up being a spectator in this one. Jonathan had the NWF champ in trouble the entire bout until Bockwinkel nailed a charging DLJ with a elbow. Bock made a tag and rolled out of the ring while holding Jonathan's legs. That allowed Stevens to hit the Bombs Away for the win. The Mormon Giant was fuming and cleaned house on everyone after the bell. Jonathan will have another chance at Bockwinkel next week in a grudge match for the NWF Title.
9. North American Championship: The Sheik b Jimmy Snuka In their last encounter for the NA Title, Snuka was still reeling from the effects of a Fireball the Sheik had used a week before during their World League Challenge match. This time, Snuka was at 100% and ready to go. Unfortunately, so was The Sheik. The champion grounded Snuka after a missed top rope double axhandle. He kept working Snuka's back and used repeated Camel Clutch attempts to get the win. With this victory, Sheik will have the longest title reign in NWF history, surpassing Bockwinkel's 48 card run in 2003/2004.
The Unholy Reign of Terror continues! Lost in all this is that Bockwinkel has put together another outstanding title reign, currently at 44 cards going into next week! And...what a lead in that is! Let's run down next week's show from The Aud in Buffalo:
* S.D. Jones and Virgil go at it in singles action for the second time! Can Virgil even the score with his former partner? * The Crusher will face Bob Orton! Can the Bolo Punch put the "King of the Piledriver" down for the count? * Jimmy Valiant has ignored the doctor's pleas to take a week or two off after the tremendous beating he took tonight and will face the Missing Link in a rematch! * Justin Credible tries for the 13,612th time (slight exaggeration) to pin rival Steve Corino in what will no doubt be a bloody Texas Death Match! * The World League Challenge opening round comes to a close as Antonio Inoki (JPN) faces Nikolai Volkoff (CRO)! The winner will meet Antonino Rocca in the second round. * Yukon Eric will team with Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka to meet Executioner #1 and Magnificent Muraco in tag action! * The main event will be a rematch for the NWF Championship, with Nick Bockwinkel (boo!) putting the title on the line once again against big Don Leo Jonathan! The two tore down the house at the beginning of the month, and the challenger is looking fired up! Can Jonathan win the gold, or will Bockwinkel continue to be the top dog in the NWF? We'll find out next week in Buffalo!
