Stu,
Thank you for the positive feedback about Major League Wrestling! I am particularly excited about this weekend for Major League Wrestling because, in addition to my normal Friday night Showtime and Saturday morning All Stars shows, I have the special Saturday Night's Main Event that is going to include a couple of title matches, a couple of MLW (Legends) tag teams vs "visiting" (GWF) tag teams in preparation for the Sammartino Invitational, and the ladder match between Yukon Eric and Killer Kowalski with Yukon Eric's severed piece of ear being the prize hanging above the ring.
Although I intend to do it on just a temporary basis for the Sammartino Invitational, I agree that incorporating GWF wrestlers into a Legends-type fed indeed can be enjoyable and help create great story lines. At the very least, Splatter will stick around for awhile. One of the reasons I am excited about my cards this weekend is because I intend to have the Road Warriors take on a top GWF team in the main event on my Friday Night Showtime card and also wrestle a legendary GWF tag team the next night at my Saturday Night's Main Event. I am interested to see how the Road Warriors do. I am also really eager to see how the top GWF teams fare in next weekend's Sammartino Invitational tournament.
Thanks again for your comments. I really enjoyed the new format in the handbook for Legends Fever in which the wrestler's signature moves, in addition to their finisher, are described and I of course look forward to Legends Teams in July!

Major League Wrestling (MLW): Showtime (first half of the show) Friday May 19, 2006 Arco Arena in Sacramento, CA
Tonight's Showtime will consist exclusively of tag team matches as wrestlers from both inside and outside MLW prepare for next week's Sammartino Invitational. Start of Show: Visiting Stampede Tag Team Champions Durango Sundown (Blacklash and Bullwhip) are in the ring and announce they came to MLW for the next two weeks to enter and win the Sammartino Invitational but in the meantime they want to kick someone's **s. In Stampede Wrestling, they've repeatedly heard about how tough the Road Warriors are supposed to be, so they challenge Hawk and Animal to a match tonight!
Suddenly some loud martial music blares and out comes the visiting Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions the Gladiators (Brute and Massacre). As Brute and himself stare down Durango Sundown, Massacre announces that the Gladiators want to be the ones to take down the mighty Road Warriors as a way to tune up for next week's Sammartino Invitational.
MLW owner and GM Bruno Sammartino appears and announces he has a solution. Sammartino says that both Durango Sundown and the Gladiators will get a shot at the Road Warriors as Durango Sundown will take on the Road Warriors in the main event here tonight on Showtime while the Gladiators will wrestle the Road Warriors tomorrow at Saturday Night's Main Event (SNME)!
Match #1: Killer Bees defeated the Valentines. The first match on Showtime featured two MLW tag teams and the Killer Bees earned the victory as Jim Brunzell pinned Greg Valentine via a double elbow smash with B. Brian Blair. As the referee made the three count, Blair delivered a dropkick to Johnny Valentine to prevent him from making the pin save. The announcers remark that, since the Killer Bees and the Valentines were considered pretty much equal, tonight's result will undoubtedly slightly influence the seedings for these two teams when the brackets for the Sammartino Invitational are officially released in the upcoming days.
Add for Sammartino Invitational: "Coming to Las Vegas on Memorial Day weekend is the Sammartino invitational. 40 tag teams (25 from MLW and 15 champions from outside territories) will compete in a tournament over the course of three days for a $1 million prize!"
Match #2: Japan's Tag Team Champions Antonino Inoki and Rikidozan defeated Mongolia's Tag Team Champions Eastern Dynasty. In a match between the two visiting tag team champions from Asia, Rikidozan impressed the crowd early with a series of overhead chops and head butts to both Ghengis Khan and Mitsuko the Mongol. Eastern Dynasty managed to regain the offensive and almost pinned Rikidozan via their tag finisher MONGOLIAN MAULER. But Rikidozan managed to tag in Inoki who delivered an OCTOPUS HOLD and an ENZUIGIRI to Mitsuko who, while placed in Inoki's Bow and Arrow, desperately tagged in Ghengis Khan. But Inkoi soon made Khan submit to a cobra twist.
Prior to Match #3: Bobby Heenan is in the ring and says his two tag team entries of World Champion Nick Bockwinkel/Harley Race and King Kong Bundy Bundy/Ox Baker essentially guarantees that he will be walking away with the $1 million next week at the Sammartino Invitational. Heenan also announces that Dan Severn should look for nearby hospitals in Sacramento because tomorrow night he will face King Kong Bundy at SNME!
Match #3: King Kong Bundy and Ox Baker (managed by Heenan) defeated Giant Baba and Dan Severn. In a MLW tag team match in which each team consisted of two wrestlers engaged in a feud with another wrestler on the other team (Severn vs Bundy and Baba vs Baker), Giant Baba and King Kong Bundy started off the match but neither could knock the other off his feet. Baba then tagged in Severn who went after his enemy Bundy and put him into an arm wringer. Bundy quickly tagged in Baker. After some moves by Baker, Severn countered and threw Baker into the ropes. Baker dodged Severn's attempt to punch him coming off the ropes and then rebounded off the ropes on the other side of the ring and gave Severn a HEARTPUNCH for the win.
Match #4: `MLW's World Tag Team Champions Midnight Express (managed by Jim Cornette) defeated visiting Mexico's Tag Team Champions Steve Corino and Konnan. At first the Midnight Express appeared to be in serious trouble as Corino was on the offensive against Bobby Eaton who he threw out of the ring, threw a ringside announcer's table, and then struck three times with the timekeeper's bell without getting disqualified as Konnan distracted the referee. It appeared soon afterward that Eaton was about to lose the match via Konnan's TEQUILA SUNRISE and as Cornette then slid his racket into the ring only to see Konnan intercept the racket and whack Eaton over the head with it. But Stan Lane made the pin save. The tide turned when Eaton was thrown into the ropes by Konnan only to reverse the momentum with a piledriver and then tagging in Lane. Lane proceeded to put away Konnan with a SUPERKICK.

Interesting bringing in the "outside talent" in. I think I said in one of Traviz thread...as far as we know, the GWF is real, like wrestling today and wrestling 100 years ago.
So if Frank Gotch can battle Sandman...nice to see guys from the GWF battling legends. Making some interesting matchups

Major League Wrestling (MLW): Showtime (second half of the show) Friday May 19, 2006 Arco Arena in Sacramento, CA
Back Stage: Returning from their victory over Konnan and Steve Corino, the Midnight Express run into the visiting European Tag Team Champions the Greek Gods. Actagon and Proteus tell the Midnight Express good luck next week at the Sammartino Invitational and, by the way, good luck tomorrow night because they just got Bruno Sammartino to agree to a match between the European Tag Team Champions Greek Gods and MLW's World Tag Team Champions Midnight Express at SNME!
Match#5: Mil Mascaras and Bobo Brazil defeated United States Champion Buddy Rogers (accompanied by Maxine Babe) and Gorgeous George by dq. In a match between two more tag teams set to enter the Sammartino Invitational next weekend, Bobo Brazil and Mil Mascaras worked great together and controlled most of the match with a series of quick tags to keep George on the defensive and to prevent him from tagging out to Rogers. Mascaras appeared to have George pinned until Maxine Babe reached into her purse and grabbed some hair spray which she sprayed into Mascaras's eyes to break up the three count but the referee caught this and awarded the match to Brazil and Mascaras by dq. After the match, Brazil pointed to Rogers's United States Championship and then gestured to his waist to remind Rogers that tomorrow night he has to face Brazil in a title match at SNME one on one and thus will not have the chance to hide behind his tag team partner.
Match #6: MLW's United States Tag Team Champions Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff, and their manager Nikita Breznikov defeated visiting Great Lakes Tag Team Champions Stars and Stripes and their manager Commander Sam (2087 stats) by dq. In a six man tag team match scheduled as a rematch after last week's victory by Stars and Stripes over the Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff on Showtime, this match quickly degenerated into an out of control brawl and ended after Commander Sam was dqd for smacking the Iron Sheik over the head with a steel chair. Bruno Sammartino then appeared and announced he was scheduling a rematch of this six man tag team match for tomorrow night at SNME and this time there will be a winner because it will be no dq and no count out.!
Add for tomorrow's Saturday Night's Main Event (SNME): a) Antonino Rocca challenges World Champion Nick Bockwinkel in a steel cage match, b) Road Warriors vs visiting Mid Atlantic Tag Team Champions the Gladiators, c) Bobo Brazil challenges United States Champion Buddy Rogers, d) European Tag Team Champions Greek Gods vs MLW's World Tag Team Champions Midnight Express, e) Yukon Eric vs Killer Kowalski in a ladder match for Yukon Eric's severed ear, f) visiting Great Lakes Tag Team Champions Stars and Stripes with their manager Commander Sam vs MLW's United States Tag Team Champions Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff and their manager Nikita Breznikov, g) Dan Severn vs King Kong Bundy.
Match #7: World Tag Team Champion Nick Bockwinkel and Harley Race (managed by Heenan and accompanied by Ox Baker- the Heenan Family's "problem solver") defeated Antonino Rocca and and Frank Gotch. In a match between two MLW tag teams each expected to receive no worse than a #3 seed in the upcoming published brackets for the Sammartino Invitational, Bockwinkel and Race (thanks to Heenan's interference) made surprisingly short work of Rocca and Gotch as Bockwinkel earned the victory by making Rocca, his challenger for the World Championship in tomorrow night's steel cage match at SNME, submit to his BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER.
Back stage: Prior to tonight's main event, Killer Kowalski meets with his members of the Dungeon of Doom: the Missing Link and the Road Warriors.
Kowalski (with Yukon Eric's ear still hanging around his neck): "Let's go Dungeon!"
Hawk (getting into Kowalski's face): "No! Durango Sundown called out the Road Warriors, not the Dungeon of Doom. Tonight Hawk and Animal walk to the ring alone. Animal, let's got to war!"
Match #8, the Main Event: The Road Warriors easily demolished Durango Sundown. The Road Warriors came out to the ring aggressively and completely dominated the match. Durango Sundown failed to get in a single offensive move and the match quickly ended in a matter of minutes when Hawk pinned Bullwhip via a clothesline. Although Hawk and Animal, as members of Kowalski's Dungeon of Doom, are considered heels, the crowd erupts at the unexpected complete dominance of the Road Warriors against the arrogant visiting tag team of Durango Sundown and they loudly and repeatedly shout "MLW, MLW, MLW, MLW" as the Road Warriors get their hands raised in victory and the show fades to black.
See you tomorrow morning for Major League Wrestling: All Stars and then tomorrow night for Major League Wrestling's first edition of Saturday Night's Main Event!

Major League Wrestling: All Stars (my "B" show) Saturday morning May 20, 2006 (broadcast date)
This edition of Major League Wrestling (MLW): All Stars will consist exclusively of tag team matches as some of the tag teams expected to receive lower seeds in next weekend's Sammartino Invitational seek some last minute tune ups. Six of the seven matches feature MLW tag teams versus tag team champions from outside territories.
Match #1: The Sandman and "Precious" Paul Ellering defeated Yukon Eric and Splatter. In the opening match, the Sandman and Ellering scored an upset when Sandman pinned Yukon Eric (apparently preoccupied with his upcoming ladder match for his severed ear against Killer Kowalski) via 2 consecutive HARDCORE DDTs.
Match #2: Playboy Buddy Rose and Danny Hodge defeated visiting Memphis Tag Team Champions Chris Candido and Danny Doring (managed by Sunny). In another upset, the team of Rose and Hodge won when Hodge pinned Doring via his OKLAHOMA SIDEROLL. Hodge looked especially efficient against the two junior heavyweights Candido and Doring.
Add for the Sammartino Invitational: Coming to Las Vegas on Memorial Day weekend is the Sammartino Invitational. 40 tag teams (25 from MLW and 15 tag team champions from outside territories) will compete in a tag team tournament over the course of three days for a $1 million prize
Match #3: Visiting Georgia Tag Team Champions the Jacobins (COTG's Executioner and Marcel De Sade) defeated Jimmy Snuka and S.D. Jones. In arguably the third straight upset on the card, the Jacobins got the victory when Marcel De Sade made Snuka submit to his THUMBSCREW.
Match #4: Visiting Pacific Northwest Tag Team Champions Generation X defeated the Heart Thrashers (managed by Cassandra). Generation X would have won the match earlier via their SOUND OF MUSIC as Grunge smashed his guitar over Bagwell's head as Metalhead distracted the referee, but Cassandra put Bagwell's foot on the ropes to break up the count. Generation X finally won the match when Metalhead pinned Bagwell via a killer drop.
Match #5: Visiting Northeast Tag Team Champions the Masked Marauders (Destroyer and Masked Superstar) defeated the Regulators. The Masked Marauders controlled almost the entire match and won when the Masked Superstar pinned Richard Hutton via a SPINNING NECKBREAKER.
Match #6: Visiting Florida Tag Team Champions the Vachons defeated the Flying Redheads (managed by Captain Lou Albano). MLW tag teams suffered another loss as Mad Dog Vachon made Red Bastien submit after savagely biting his forehead. The announcers remark with worry in their voice that the five straight defeats suffered by MLW tag teams on today's All Stars show may bode ill for MLW tag teams in general in next week's Sammartino Invitational.
Add for tonight's Saturday Night's Main Event (SNME): a) Antonino Rocca challenges World Champion Nick Bockwinkel in a steel cage match, b) Road Warriors vs visiting Mid Atlantic Tag Team Champions the Gladiators, c) Bobo Brazil challenges United States Champion Buddy Rogers, d) European Tag Team Champions Greek Gods vs MLW's World Tag Team Champions Midnight Express, e) Yukon Eric vs Killer Kowalski in a ladder match for Yukon Eric's severed ear, f) visiting Great Lakes Tag Team Champions Stars and Stripes with their manager Commander Sam vs MLW's United States Tag Team Champions Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff and their manager Nikita Breznikov, g) Dan Severn vs King Kong Bundy.
MLW's Grand Slam of the Week: The footage form last night's Showtime shows how visiting Stampede Tag Team Champions Durango Sundown came out to the ring to challenge the Road Warriors to a match only to have the visiting Mid Atlantic Tag Team Champions Gladiators come out to issue their own challenge to the Road Warriors. MLW owner and GM Bruno Sammartino resolves this problem by scheduling a match between the Road Warriors and Durango Sundown on last night's Showtime and a match between the Road warriors and the Gladiators on tonight's Saturday Night's Main Event (SNME)! The footage then show the Road Warriors arguing with their manager Killer Kowalski by insisting they will walk to the ring to confront Durango Sundown by themselves. The footage concludes by showing how the Road Warriors completely dominated and defeated Durango Sundown as Hawk pinned Bullwhip via a powerful clothesline giving some hope to the tag teams of MLW heading into next week's Sammartino Invitational. Now, how will the Road Warriors do against the Gladiators on tonight's SNME?
Match #7, the main event: The Valiants (managed by Albano) defeated visiting Australia Tag Team Champions the Demons (COTG's Demons of Hydra). In the first victory by a MLW tag team on today's card and in a rematch from last week''s match on All Stars that resulted in a a double dq, the Valiants won when Johnny Valiant pinned Demon #2 via a SPINNING NECKBREAKER. The Valiants appeared to have the match won earlier but the Demons managed to pull off their switch routine as their manager Darkos distracted the referee. Albano then responded by getting into a brawl with Darkos that moved backstage as the match concluded and the screen fades to black.
See you tonight for Major League Wrestling's first-ever edition of SNME and then next weekend for the Sammartino Invitational!

Major League Wrestling: Saturday Night's Main Event (opening promos) Saturday May 20, 2006 Arco Arena @ Sacramento, CA
Opening Promos. The show began with the following opening promo clips:
Antonino Rocca: "Tonight Nick Bockwinkel you are not going to be able to save your World Championship by getting dqd like you did at Backlash. Nor will the Heenan Family be able to save you because I get the chance to take you on one on one inside the steel cage!"
Bobby Heenan (speaking for World Champion Bockwinkel who is standing behind him): "Tonight I personally guarantee that this man, your World Champion Nick Bockwinkel, will not lose his title to that punk Rocca. When I have a problem like Rocca, you know what I do? I solve it"- Heenan then gestures toward Heenan Family problem solver Ox Baker who is standing nearby Bockwinkel.
Buddy Rogers: "Bobo Brazil, I defeated you and Mil Mascaras in a triple threat at Backlash for the United States Championship by making Mascaras tap out to my FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE. Tonight, it is your turn to submit. Because you're a sap, you're going to tap. You are going to lose and then sing the blues. Whoooooo!"
Midnight Express: "Greek Gods, you made a mistake challenging us to a match tonight. We're going to send you back to Europe on a ROCKET LAUNCHER!"
Actagon of the Greek Gods (caught of guard by the camera): "Proteus, I said put the bottle away. It is time to do an interview."
Yukon Eric: "Killer Kowalski, tonight, I swear I am going to get back my ear."
Killer Kowalski: "Yukon Eric, you've got something to say to me? Well I am all ears." Killer Kowalski then gestures at Yukon Eric's severed ear that he has hanging around his neck and laughs demoniacally.
Stars and Stripes with Commander Sam: "Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff, it is a disgrace that anti-US scum such as yourselves are MLW's United States Tag Team Champions. Well tonight we are going to make you red, white, black, and blue."
Iron Sheik (along with Volkoff and Nikita Breznikov): Stars and Stripes, so you are visiting MLW for next week's Sammartino Invitational as the Great Lakes Tag Team Champions? Ha! I will put you in the CAMEL CLUTCH, break your back, and make you humble!"
King Kong Bundy: "Dan Severn, tonight I am going to pin you by giving you an AVALANCHE just like I did at Backlash. I might even go for a five count when I put you away!"
Gladiators: "We hear that the Road Warriors are supposed to be this tough tag team but they are not even this fed's tag team champions. Hawk and Animal, prepare for the Gladiator DECAPITATOR!"
Road Warriors: "Gladiators, you have some nerve calling us out last night on Showtime. Tonight you are going to pay, the Road Warrior way!"

Saturday Night's Main Event by Major League Wrestling (first half of the show) Saturday May 20, 2006 Arco Arena in Sacramento, CA
After the opening promos (see previous post), the action was set to begin in the ring!
Match #1: Great Lakes Tag Team Champions Stars and Stripes and their manager Commander Sam (2087 stats) defeated United States Tag Team Champions Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff and their manager Nikita Breznikov in a 6 man no dq and no countout tag team match. Before the start of the match, Breznikov agitated the crowd by asking them to pay respect to "Comrade Nikolai" as he sang the Soviet National Anthem. But Volkoff was unable to perform the anthem because suddenly the U.S. Marine Corps Hymn started blaring as Stars and Stripes and their manager Commander Sam ran to the ring and the opening match was on! The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff nearly had the match won several times as the Iron Sheik kept hitting American Guy with his loaded boot but was unable to apply his dreaded CAMEL CLUTCH. The action went back and forth with lots of quick tags until the Iron Sheik received 3 consecutive Star Spangled Elbows from American Guy who then tagged in U>S> Male. Stars and Stripes then won the match as U.S. Male covered the Iron Sheik for the three count following DAWN'S EARLY BLIGHT. As U.S. Male pinned the Iron Sheik, American Guy and Commander Sam each sent Volkoff and Breznikov tumbling over the top rope with a running Peacemaker slingshot.
Match #2: Buddy Rogers (with Maxine Babe) defeated Bobo Brazil to retain the United States Championship. Buddy Rogers incredibly survived 7 COCO BUTTS from Bobo Brazil to win this match. At one point when it appeared certain that Rogers was about to be pinned from a COCO BUTT, Gorgeous George- Rogers's tag team partner in next week's Sammartino Invitational- suddenly appeared and jumped on Brazil's back and scratched at his eyes while Maxine Babe distracted the referee. Mil Mascaras- Brazil's partner in the Sammartino Invitational- ran down to save Brazil and brawled to the back with George. Rogers miraculously won this incredible match when he suddenly gave Brazil a jumping knee smash and pinned him by using the ropes.
Match #3: World Tag Team Champions Midnight Express (managed by Jim Cornett) defeated Europe Tag Team Champions the Greek Gods. In another sensational match that witnessed eleven unsuccessful pin attempts combined by both teams, Bobby Eaton pinned Actagon via a stinging right hand right after Actagon crashed to the mat while missing a deathjump.
Add for Sammartino Invitational: "Coming to Las Vegas on Memorial Day weekend is the Sammartino invitational. 40 tag teams (25 from MLW and 15 champions from outside territories) will compete in a tournament over the course of three days for a $1 million prize!"
Match #4: Nick Bockwinkel (accompanied by Bobby Heenan and Ox Baker- the Heenan Family's "problem solver") defeated Antonino Rocca inside a steel cage to retain the World Championship. Rocca never had a chance in this match as he was ambushed, upon orders by Heenan, by Baker as he made his way toward the cage. Baker completely pummeled Rocca and then, as Heenan continued to bark directions, threw Rocca into the cage toward Bockwinkel who only had to execute a few moves and then apply his FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK for the surprisingly easy victory. As Bockwinkel, Heenan, and Baker made their way back to the locker room in triumph, fellow Heenan Family members Harley Race and King Kong Bundy came out to congratulate Bockwinkel. Meanwhile Frank Gotch and Giant Baba went to the ring to help attend to Rocca who appeared in obvious pain.

Saturday Night's Main Event by Major League Wrestling (second half of the show) Saturday May 20, 2006 Arco Arena in Sacramento, CA
As the steel cage was being dismantled from the previous match, Bill Apter is hosting the Hot Seat.
Hot Seat: the Killer Bees are the guests.
Apter: B. Brian Blair and Jim Brunzell, congratulations on last night's victory over the Valentines on Showtime.
Brunzell: Thank you Bill Apter. It was important to get a good victory as we head into next week's Sammartino Invitational. There is lots of good tag teams from around the country and the globe invited to compete with tag teams of Major League Wrestling.
Apter: Although the brackets for the Sammartino Invitational have not yet been publicly released, I am hearing rumors that your impressive victory over the Valentines last night may have earned you one of the four #3 seeds in the tournament.
Blair: Well that is great but we know that we have to be ready to take on anyone and that as a #3 seed we will still need to win 5 matches in order to be the last tag team standing at the end of the Sammartino Invitational.
Apter: Good luck to you, I am confident that the Killer Bees will do an excellent job representing Major League Wrestling in the Sammartino Invitational. Now back to the action in the ring where one of our matches still to come features two tag teams who will surely get 2 of the 4 #1 seeds in the Sammartino Invitational as the visiting Mid Atlantic Tag Team Champions the Gladiators will battle the Road Warriors of Major League Wrestling!
Match #5: Dan Severn defeated King Kong Bundy (with Heenan and Baker) by dq. Severn and Bundy displayed their intense dislike for each other and Bundy started off the match by going right at Severn and gave him a series of forearm smashes and running power slams. Several times Severn regained the advantage but was unable to maintain it for long. After awhile, Bundy gave Severn an AVALANCHE and the referee made the three-count. But out of arrogance, Bundy demanded a five-count. However, Severn kicked out after the four-count to preserve a match he should have lost! Out of frustration, Bundy shoved the referee who he accused of counting too slowly and Bundy received the disqualification as a result. Bundy then threw Severn out of the ring where baker performed a neckbreaker to Severn out on the concrete floor.
Match #6: The Road Warriors (without Killer Kowalski at ringside) defeated Mid Atlantic Tag Team Champions the Gladiators. Hawk and Brute started off the match by staring each other down in the center of the ring. Brute tried for a slingshot but Hawk dodged it and executed a vertical suplex against Brute to get the action underway. Midway through the match, Hawk managed to kick out of Brute's impressive finisher BRUTE FORCE. Brute then tagged in Massacre who continued the assault on Hawk. Later in the match, the Road warriors regained control and performed their DOOMSDAY DEVICE against Massacre but Brute made the pin save. This awesome and exciting match finally ended when Animal pinned Massacre via 2 consecutive DOOMSDAY DEVICES. The crowd loudly cheered the Road Warriors throughout the match even though they are members of the despised Dungeon of Doom. Hawk and Animal seemed to take no notice of the fans new desire to cheer for them as they returned to the locker room.
Match #7: Killer Kowalski defeated Yukon Eric in a ladder match to retain Yukon Eric's severed ear. In this ladder match, the piece of Yukon Eric's ear that Kowalski bit off in a match about a month ago was hung from the ceiling on a wire and was the prize that both Yukon Eric and Killer Kowalski had to climb the ladder to grab and win the match. Yukon Eric seemed determined to get his ear back and started off the match aggressively against Kowalski. Yukon Eric delivered a series of impressive Woodsman's Chops to send Kowalski tumbling to the mat and then, for good measure, placed Kowalski in his KODIAK KRUNCH before dropping him to the mat. Yukon Eric then got out the ladder and, after smashing it across Kowalski's head, set it up and proceeded to climb up and reach for his ear. but Kowalski recovered in time and was able to kick and topple the ladder with Yukon Eric on top of it. as a result, Yukon Eric was unable to grab his ear but, as he fell, his hand swiped against it which caused the ear to swing quickly and violently back and forth above the ring as the action continued down below. After Yukon Eric crashed hard to the mat with the ladder falling on top of him, Kowalski proceeded to give Yukon Eric a giant swing and then knocked him out with his KOWALSKI CLAW. Kowalski then reset the ladder up and successfully climbed to the top where he was able to grab Yukon Eric's ear and win the match. According to the stipulations of this ladder match, Kowalski now gets to keep Yukon Eric's ear permanently.
See you next weekend for the three day Sammartino Invitational back in Las Vegas!
Screen fades to black.

GWFfanTrav and Candianpittbull, Regarding Killer Kowlaski's future use of Yukon Eric's ear, This weekend Kowlaski plans to use it as a good luck charm to help him and his tag team partner the Missing Link in the Sammartino Invitational. Considering they are 100-1 odds and in the same brackett with tag teams such as the Midnight Express, Nick Bockwinkel and Harley Race, and Antonio Inoki and Rikidozan, they will probably need Yukon Eric's ear as a good luck charm.

Very exciting. Loved SNME. After reading the promos I was singing "Obession" in my head as the card started up. After much thought I think that Jim Cornette's Midnight Express will take home the million dollar prize.

SAMMARTINO INVITATIONAL Friday May 26, 2006 Preliminary Round
Bracket A:
Pacific Northwest Champions Generation X defeated Major Ursa and Johnny Rocket in a quick match as Grunge pinned Rocket via a Hard Rock Crack.
Danny Hodge and Playboy Buddy Rose defeated War Chief Omega and Karah the Jungle Lad. In a competitive match, War Chief Omega and Karah the Jungle Lad at first appeared to score a major upset as it seemed War Chief Omega had Hodge pinned via his TOMAHAWK THRUST but Rose made the pin save. The end came when Hodge was thrown into the turnbuckle only to dive out of the way as Karah came charging toward him. As Karah rebounded off the turnbuckle, Hodge rolled up Karah for the victory.
Bracket B
In a major upset, the Country Rangers (Dirty Black Bart and Austin Turk) defeated Yukon Eric and Splatter by dq after Splatter was disqualified for using MEET ARSENAL repeatedly on Dirty Black Bart.
In another upset, Georgia Tag Team Champions the Jacobins (Executioner and Marcel De Sade) defeated Jimmy Snuka and SD Jones by dq after Snuka was disqualified for slamming the Executioner threw a ringside table on the outside of the ring.
Bracket C
Mongolia Tag Team Champions Eastern Dynasty defeated St. Louis Tag Team Champions the Awesome Studs. Ghengis Khan pinned Vanity following a death jump and Mitsuko the Mongol a karate kick as he attempted to make the pin save.
Killer Kowalski and the Missing Link defeated Virgil and Tom "the Natural" Mann. Before the match, bit Kowalski and the Missing Link rubbed the severed piece of Yukon Eric's ear worn around Kowalski's neck before tying it to the ring post. Tom "the Natural" Mann and Virgil started off strong bu the Missing link regained the momentum with a series of flailing forearms and a FLYING HEADBUTT before tagging in Kowalski. Kowalski proceeded to give Mann 3 bombs away knee drops followed by the KOWALSKI CLAW for the victory. Kowalski and the Missing link's victory, along with Yukon Eric and Splatter's upset loss, seemed to validate so far the supposed good luck power of Yukon Eric's severed ear.
Bracket D
The Sandman and "Precious" Paul Ellering scored an upset by defeating Memphis Tag Team Champions Chris Candido and Danny Doring. After being on the defensive for most of the match, the Sandman and Ellering picked up the win when the Sandman managed to nail Candido with his SINGAPORE CANE without the referee noticing.
Central States Tag Team Champions Heavy Hitters (KO Keller and Billy Jo Boxer) easily defeated Scimitar and Dark Knight as Keller pinned Dark Knight via THE TEN COUNT.

Wow, Brazil and Mascaras have their work cut out for them... will need to be at the top of their game to survive Bundy and Ox.
You should put up a poll to predict the winners!
