(note: This is my Saturday weekly "B" show for my Major League Wrestling (MLW) fed. On this one-hour Saturday show I have matches for wrestlers on my current roster that were not involved in my weekly "A" show- Major League Wrestling: Showtime that takes place on Fridays. So this is sort of like my version of Heat or Velocity whereas Showtime is sort of like my version of RAW or Smackdown. For my major storyline angles and matches, see the previous post for Major League Wrestling: Showtime).
Saturday April 15 (televised date) Major League Wrestling: All Stars
Match #1: War Chief Omega scored a surprising upset by defeating Brutus Beefcake. Beefcake arrogantly laughed when he first saw War Chief Omega and acted like it would be an easy match. But to Beefcake's surprise, his failure to take War Chief Omega seriously enough led to his downfall as he suffered repeated TOMAHAWK CHOPS and war dances before finally submitting to a sleeper hold.
Match #2- Playboy Buddy Rose quickly defeated Dirty Black Bart. Fan favorite Buddy Rose came out to the adoration of the female audience and numerous camera flashes were seen as Rose entered the ring. Dirty Black Bart became visibly jealous at all the attention Rose was receiving from the ladies and attempted to mock Rose inside the ring near the ropes while trying to gain the attention of some hot chicks in the front row. Rose then snuck up behind Bart and began the match by delivering a dropped elbow to the back of Bart's head. Bart then ricocheted against the ropes and landed on his back as Rose then executed his BOMBS AWAY finisher for the victory. Total match time: less than 15 seconds!
Advertisement for MLW's Backlash PPV: On Sunday May 7, Antonino Rocca challenges Nick Bockwinkel for the World Championship with Dan Severn acting as a special referee and the Road Warriors challenge the Midnight Express for the World Tag Team Championship. Additional matches will be named later.
Match #3- "Precious" Paul Ellering defeated S.D. Jones via a death jump. (Note: I'm currently not using Ellering as a manager but rather as an under card heel.)
Major League Wrestling presents the Grand Slam of the week: Footage is shown from last night's final match on Major League Wrestling: Showtime between Frank Gotch and Giant Baba which was the last First Round matchup in the tournament to become MLW's first-ever United States Champion. The footage shows how Gotch achieved victory by making fellow fan-favorite Baba submit to the GOTCH TOEHOLD and then how Bobby Heenan, Ox Baker (who Heenan named his new "problem solver' last night on Showtime) and Harley Race then ambush Gotch with Baker giving Gotch a HEARTPUNCH and then Race delivering a PILEDRIVER to Gotch as he recoiled from Baker's blow to his heart. As Heenan continued to shout directions, the footage show how Race delivered a falling head butt to Gotch from the top turnbuckle after placing a steel chair under Gotch's head. The footage continues to show how Giant Baba recovered to grab Heenan from behind with a handful of hair in an attempt to rescue Gotch. But Baker then delivered a powerful HEARTPUNCH to Baba who crumpled instantly to the floor. As paramedics rushed to the ring with a stretcher for Baba and to assist a motionless Gotch, the footage ends by showing Heenan (who yells "problem solved" at his enemy Gotch and calls Giant Baba "Giant Nada"), Baker and Race celebrating.
Match #4- Danny Hodge got revenge from last week's shocking defeat on Major League Wrestling:Showtime by forcing Scimitar to tap out to an Indian death lock. After showing little offense in his two previous MLW matches, Hodge aggressively went on offense early against Scimitar and never lost control en route to his first MLW victory!
Main Event (Match #5)- The Flying Redheads defeated the Valentines. In a solid match that saw the advantage switch multiple times between the two teams, Red Bastien suddenly won via a flying body press against Greg Valentine.
See you next week on Friday April 21 from Albuquerque for Major League Wrestling: Showtime where Jimmy Snuka takes on his enemy Gorgeous George in a falls count anywhere match, the United States Championship tournament is scheduled to resume, and for an expected update on the injuries suffered last night on Showtime- including those of Gotch, Giant Baba, and Yukon Eric who had part of his ear bitten off by the Road Warriors's manager Killer Kowalski (the LE).

Major League Wrestling: Showtime Preview for Friday April 21 @ University Arena (aka "The Pit") in Albuquerque, NM
This week Major League Wrestling (MLW) arrives in Albuquerque!
Last week on Showtime, no less than four wrestlers (B. Brian Blair, Yukon Eric, Frank Gotch, and Giant Baba) were hospitalized with serious injuries! MLW owner and General Manager Bruno Sammartino is expected to make an announcement updating the status for each of the injured wrestlers.
After last week's First Round victories by Mil Mascaras, Buddy Rogers, Bobo Brazil, and Gotch , the United States Championship Tournament is scheduled to resume on Showtime this week with Second Round action. Will Gotch's injuries prevent him from participating? If so, what effect will this have on the tournament?
In MLW's first-ever "Pick his Poison" matches, both World Champion Nick Bockwinkel and his challenger at Backlash, Antonino Rocca, will have the opportunity to pick who their opponent at Backlash will wrestle on Showtime this week! Neither Bockwinkel or Rocca will know who the other has chosen as their opponent for this week until they arrive in the ring!
Also, one-half of the World Tag Team Champions the Midnight Express will take on one half of their challengers at Backlash, the Road Warriors, in singles action this week on Showtime! Will the Road Warriors's manager Killer Kowalski have anything to say after biting off the ear of Yukon Eric last week?
In addition, Jimmy Snuka is set to take on his enemy Gorgeous George in a falls count anywhere match!
Finally, in addition to Antonino Rocca challenging Nick Bockwinkel for the World Championship with Dan Severn as a guest referee and the Road Warriors challenging the World Tag Team Champions the Midnight Express at Backlash on Sunday May 7, Sammartino is expected to name several more matches to MLW's first PPV!

Friday April 21, 2006 Major League Wrestling: Showtime University Arena (aka "The Pit") in Albuquerque, New Mexico
Tonight is the first ever "Pick His Poison" matches as World Champion Nick Bockwinkel and his challenger at Backlash, Antonino Rocca, will each pick who their opponent at Backlash is going to wrestle tonight on Showtime. Neither Bockwinkel or Rocca will know who the other has selected as their opponent tonight until they are actually in the ring. Also, Jimmy Snuka will take on his enemy Gorgeous George in a falls count anywhere match, the Second Round of the United States Championship tournament is scheduled to resume, and an injury update is expected for the four wrestlers injured last week on Showtime!
Start of Show: Major League Wrestling (MLW) General Manager and owner Bruno Sammartino is in the ring along with three of last week's four First Round Winners in the United States Championship Tournament: Buddy Rogers with Maxine Babe, Mil Mascaras, and Bobo Brazil. Sammartino recaps how four wrestlers were seriously injured last week: a) B. Brian Blair by the Iron Sheik who piledrived Blair and then applied the CAMEL CLUTCH on Blair outside of the ring, b) Yukon Eric who had part of one ear bitten off by Killer Kowlaski after Kowalski defeated Yukon Eric last week on Showtime, c) Frank Gotch- hurt at the hands of Harley Race, Bobby Heenan, and Ox Baker- who last week became the Heenan Family's "problem solver," and d) Giant Baba- hospitalized by a HEARTPUNCH from Baker while trying to come to the aid of Gotch.
Sammartino then gives the extent of each of the injuries:
a) Blair- out this week and will return next week. So this week's originally scheduled rematch between the Killer Bees vs the Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff has been changed to Jim Brunzell taking on Nikolai Volkoff in a singles match.
b) Yukon Eric- out for at least two weeks. He has also not yet received the missing portion of his ear back from Kowalski.
c) Frank Gotch- also out for two weeks minimum. Sammartino then says that because Gotch is not ready to resume competing in the tournament for the United States Championship, Gotch has accepted that he is now officially eliminated from the tournament.
d) Giant Baba- out until Backlash on Sunday May 7. Giant Baba has requested a chance to regain revenge at Backlash with a match against Ox Baker and this request has been granted. Buddy Rogers then grabs the microphone and says that since he is the #1 seed in the tournament that he should automatically receive the bye created due to Gotch's injury and he will meet either Mascaras or Brazil in the tournament finals at Backlash to decide the first United States Champion. Brazil responds that since he is the #2 seed and that Gotch was the #3 seed, he should have faced Gotch this week according to the brackets and so he should receive the bye and meet either Rogers or Mascaras in the tournament finals at Backlash. Mascaras then says, with all due respect to Brazil, he is willing to wrestle both Rogers and Brazil in a Triple Threat match tonight to decide who gets the automatic bye to the finals at Backlash. Sammartino then decides this is a good idea and there will indeed be a Triple Threat Match between Buddy Rogers, Bobo Brazil, and Mil Mascaras but it will be at Backlash to decide MLW's first United States Championship and instead in tonight's main event Bobo Brazil will team with Mil Mascaras against Buddy Rogers and a tag team partner of Rogers's choice.
Backstage: Dan Severn (the special referee in the main event match at Backlash between Antonino Rocca and World Champion Nick Bockwinkel) is approached by Bockwinkel, Heenan, and Baker. Severn starts by wishing Bockwinkel "good luck" at Backlash. Heenan responds by suggesting he would be willing to bribe Severn to call things "appropriately." Severn replies with "no chance" and that at Backlash he is going to call things "straight down the middle."
Match #1 The Valentines defeated the Flying Redheads. The Valentines appeared eager to avenge last week's loss to the Flying Redheads in the main event of MLW: All Stars as Greg Valentine hit Lyons in the head with a chair as the Flying Redheads were being introduced by Gary Michael Cappetta. After further weakening Lyons with his FIGURE-FOUR LEGLOCK, Johnny Valentine tagged in to finish off Lyons via an ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER. The Flying Redheads never got in a single move of offense.
Match #2- Nikolai Volkoff (with the Iron Sheik and Nikita Breznikov) defeated Jim Brunzell. This time Volkoff persisted in singing the Soviet national anthem despite being drowned out by shouts of "USA" and a chorus of boos by the crowd at "The Pit." Brunzell got in some early offense including a KILLER DROPKICK. But Volkoff regained the advantage and pinned Brunzell after a BACKBREAKER DROP while the Iron Sheik held Brunzell's legs down as the ref made the three count.
Match #3- Pick Your Poison Match #1. Bockwinkel picks who wrestles against Rocca tonight. Bockwinkel, Heenan, and Baker meet Rocca in the ring. Rocca asks who Bockwinkel has elected as his opponent. Bockwinkel responds by gesturing toward the locker room to get Rocca to look in that direction by saying "Your opponent is... Ox Baker." Baker, standing behind Rocca, completes the planned ambush by starting the match via a HEARTPUNCH to a surprised Rocca. But Rocca receives a standing ovation when he valiantly manages to kick out of Baker's finisher which put two wrestlers (Gotch and Giant Baba) in the hospital last week. But Baker soon delivers a second HEARTPUNCH to pin Rocca. Heenan then gets a microphone and says Giant Baba better reserve his current hospital room because, at Backlash, Baker will put him right back there. Heenan then tells Bockwinkel, "See, this bum (Rocca) will be no problem at Backlash" and proceeds to instruct Baker to continue punishing Rocca when Dan Severn rushes in to make the save and escort a visibly battered Rocca to the back.
Match #5. Stan Lane (managed by Jim Cornette) defeated Animal (managed by Killer Kowalski) by dq after Animal shoved the ref in singles match between one half of the two teams scheduled to meet for the World Tag Team Championship at Backlash.
Match #6. Jimmy Snuka defeated Gorgeous George in a falls count anywhere match. George apparently got ideas from watching the Valentines earlier in the night by hitting Snuka in the head with a chair as ring announcer Cappetta was introducing the Superfly. But Snuka regained control. The action spilled outside of the ring as Snuka slammed George through the announcers table. As George attempted to retreat, Snuka then whipped him into a wall near the locker room and caused the fans to shout chants of "holy s***, holy s***, holy s***"" as he performed a flying headbutt onto George from 5 rows up in the crowd. But George regained the advantage by nailing Snuka in the groin with a pipe he found. George threw Snuka back into the ring only to have Snuka quickly regain control of the match and finish George off with a SUPERFLY LEAP. Sammartino then came out and told Snuka and a battered George that he hoped they enjoyed beating each other up around the arena because at Backlash the situation will be just the opposite as MLW will have its first steel cage match: Jimmy Snuka vs Gorgeous George.
Match #7: Hawk (managed by Kowalski) defeated Bobby Eaton (managed by Cornette). Early in the match, Cornette reached into the ring to trip Hawk. Kowlaski responded by chasing Cornette around the ring. A frightened Cornette attempted to throw his tennis racket to Eaton for help. But Hawk intercepted the racket and smashed Eaton with it to record the pinfall as Kowalski chased Cornette to the back. Sammartino then appeared and told Hawk and Eaton that after seeing tonights two singles matches in which each side picked up the victory and in which both managers became involved to some extent, he wants to make sure the best tag team wins at Backlash. Sammartino then announces he has adjusted the match between the Road Warriors and the champions Midnight Express at Backlash for the World Tag Team Championship to now be a best two out of three falls contest.
Backstage: As Rogers is watching footage from last week's Showtime, Maxine Babe asks him if he has decided who will be his tag team partner in tonight's main event against Bobo Brazil and Mil Mascaras. Rogers replies that he has just found the right man for the job.
Bill Apter's Hot Seat: Killer Kowlaski is tonight's guest.
Apter: "Killer Kowalski, in all my years of covering professional wrestling, I have never seen something quite as despicable as you biting off Yukon Eric's ear."
Kowalski: "Maybe you consider this more despicable." Kowalski then shows that he is wearing the missing part of Yukon Eric's ear around his neck.
Apter: "Killer Kowalski you need professional help. I have just been informed that GM Sammartino has commissioned, at Yukon Eric's request, a hardcore Texas death match between you and Yukon Eric at Backlash."
Kowalski: "If Yukon Eric wants that match then he is as dumb as he is now deaf."
Kowalski then proceeds to criticize Yukon Eric who suddenly shows up with his head heavily bandaged. Yukon Eric tries to grab his ear back from around Kowalski's neck but the Road Warriors suddenly appear out of the shadows and savagely beat Yukon Eric. Kowlaski then tells Yukon Eric, "I will give you your ear back if you beat me at Backlash. But, if I win, I might bite off your other ear too." Kowalski and the Road Warriors then leave the Hot Seat area.
Match #7- Pick Your Poison Match #2. Bockwinkel, Heenan, and Baker arrive in the ring. But instead of Rocca, Sammartino shows up. Sammartino says that the second Pick Your Poison Match will have to be next week on Showtime in Salt Lake City because Rocca is still too disoriented due to his earlier match tonight against Baker. Heenan, Bockwinkel, and Baker start to celebrate when Sammartino says that he personally instaed will name an opponent for Rocca to take on right now. Suddenly creepy Friday the 13th music plays and out comes Splatter- MLW's spokesman! Splatter runs to the ring with a large club and chases away Heenan and Baker. Splatter begins the match by brutally pummeling Bockwinkel but Bockwinkel regains the control. Splatter refuses to submit to two of Bockwinkel's' FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCKS but Bockwinkel then tosses Splatter out of the ring where he is brutally attacked by Baker while Heenan distracts the ref. Baker the tosses Splatter back into the ring. Bockwinkel then gives Splatter a knee smash to the back followed by the BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER to get the victory. [/color
Add for Backlash: Sunday May 7 at Las Vegas, Nevada. Matches include a) Antonino Rocca challenging Nick Bockwinkel for the World Championship, b) the Road Warriors challenging the Midnight Express for the World Tag Team Championship in a best 2 out of 3 falls contest, c) a triple threat match between Bobo Brazil, Mil Mascaras, and Buddy Rogers for MLW's first United States Championship, d) Jimmy Snuka vs Gorgeous George in a steel cage match, e) Giant Baba vs Ox Baker, f) Yukon Eric vs Killer Kowalski in a hardcore Texas death match with more matches to be announced!
Match #8, Main Event: Buddy Rogers and Harley Race defeated Bobo Brazil and Mil Mascaras. Rogers announces Harley Race as his choice of a tag team partner in tonights main event. Race and Rogers used quick tags to control the majority of the match and finally won when Rogers forced Brazil to tap out to a FIGURE-FOUR GRAPEVINE as Race punches Mascaras to prevent him from making the tag. After the match, Race, Heenan, and Baker leave the ring where Rogers and Maxine Babe continue to celebrate over a dazed Brazil and Mascaras. Sammartino comes out and announces that next week on Showtime Rogers will actually have to team up with Brazil and Mascaras- his two opponents at Backlash- in a 6 man tag team match and their opponents will be the Road Warriors and Killer Kowalski! Rogers and Maxine Babe react with shock on their faces as the show comes to an end.See you next week on Friday April 28 when MLW: Showtime is live from Salt Lake City!

4/22/06 (Broadcast date) Major League Wrestling: All Stars (my B show)
Start of Show: Dirty Black Bart is in the ring saying that Playboy Buddy Rose got lucky last week on All Stars when he defeated Bart in less than 15 seconds because Rose took advantage of the fact that Bart was not ready and that tonight things will be different. Buddy Rose then comes out to the ring to the delight of the women in the crowd who start taking pictures as camera lights flash throughout the building.
Match #1: Playboy Buddy Rose defeated Dirty Black Bart. Despite some early offense by Bart who proved more competitive compared to last week and even managed one unsuccessful pin attempt, Rose eventually put Bart away with a chokeslam followed by BOMBS AWAY.
Match #2: S. D. Jones defeated Austin Turk via a HEADBUTT. Although Turk kicked out of a few pin attempts, Jones maintained control throughout the match and finally won via his finisher.
Match #3: Sandman pinned Karah the Jungle Lad via HARDCORE DDT after earlier nailing Karah with his SINGAPORE CANE. After his victory, Sandman lit a match against Karah's body to light his cigarette and then raised his Singapore cane in victory.
Match #4: "Precious" Paul Ellering defeated Virgil via a bodyslam in a competitive match that went back and forth multiple times. After the match, Ellering arrogantly asked the crowd why they are wasting their film by taking pictures of Buddy Rose when Ellering is the reason everybody wakes up early on Saturday mornings.
Match #5: Danny Hodge defeated Scimitar. After Scimitar upset Hodge two weeks ago on Major League Wrestling (MLW): Showtime, Hodge was determined to achieve two victories over Scimitar and he earned his first victory last week on All Stars. In this match, Hodge had the early advantage but could not put Scimitar away who fought back viciously with his machete jabs and his Scimitar chest chops. After one set of Scimitar chest chops, Scimitar almost had Hodge pinned. But Hodge finally won the deciding match between these two via an OKLAHOMA SIDEROLL.
Add for Backlash: Sunday May 7 at Las Vegas, NV. Matches are a) Antonio Rocca challenging Nick Bockwinkel for the World Championship with Dan Severn as the guest referee, b) the Road Warriors challenging the Midnight Express for the World Tag Team Championship in a best 2 out of 3 falls contest, c) Bobo Brazil vs Mil Mascaras vs Buddy Rogers in a triple threat match to decide MLW's first United States Championship, d) Jimmy Snuka vs Gorgeous George (steel cage match), e) Giant Baba vs Ox Baker, f) Yukon Eric vs Killer Kowalski (hardcore Texas death match, and more matches to be announced!
Match #6: Brutus Beefcake defeated War Chief Omega. After his embarrassing defeat last week to Omega, Brutus apparently took Omega more seriously this week and scored a quick pinfall via a chokeslam after a double thrust.
MLW's Grand Slam of the Week: Footage is shown from last night's MLW: Showtime program where Bill Apter interviewed Killer Kowalski on the Hot Seat. The footage shows how Kowlaski expressed delight at biting off a part of Yukon Eric's ear the previous week and how Kowalski is actually wearing the severed part of Yukon Eric's ear around his neck. The footage continues to show how Apter mentions that there is now a hardcore Texas death match between Yukon Eric and Kowalski at Backlash. The footage then finishes by showing how Yukon Eric with his heavily bandaged head appears and tries to grab back the portion of his ear from around Kowalski's neck when Kowalski's Road Warriors suddenly appear out of the shadows and beat down Yukon Eric with Kowlaski then promising Yukon Eric he'd give him back his ear if Yukon Eric wins at Backlash but also threatens to bite off the other ear if he (Kowalski) wins the hardcore Texas death match at Backlash.
Match #8-Main Event: The Valiants (managed by Captain Lou Albano) defeated the Regulators (Cowboy Bob Orton Jr. and Richard Hutton). In a good match between two popular tag teams who shook hands at the beginning, the Valiants won when Johnny Valiant pinned Hutton following a double clothesline move by both Valiants working in tandem.
See you next next Friday April 28 on MLW: Showtime where Antonino Rocca gets to "pick the poison" or Friday's mystery opponent for World Champion Nick Bockwinkel and the main event involves Buddy Rogers having to team with Bobo Brazil and Mil Mascaras (the three opponents in Backlash's triple threat match to decide MLW's first United States Championship) against the Road Warriors and Killer Kowalski!

Major League Wrestling (MLW) Rankings (as of 4/24/06) ( ) = last week's ranking NR= not ranked last week c= champion(s) on last week's rankings
World Champion: Nick Bockwinkel (c) 1. Antonino Rocca (1) 2. Buddy Rogers (2) 3. Harley Race (6) 4. Frank Gotch (3) 5. Mil Mascaras (4) 6. Bobo Brazil (5) 7. Ox Baker (9) 8. Jimmy Snuka (8) 9. Giant Baba (7) 10. Killer Kowalski (10)
notes: Despite his controversial loss to Ox Baker last week on Showtime, Rocca retains the #1 ranking due to his upcoming match against Bockwinkel at Backlash for the World Championship. Even though Snuka defeated Gorgeous George in a falls count anywhere match last week on Showtime, Baker's victory over #1 contender Rocca propels him past Snuka on the rankings. Rogers retains the #2 ranking with his victory in the tag team main event match against Bobo Brazil and Mil Mascaras on Showtime. Race, Rogers's partner in the victory against Brazil and Mascaras, also moves up in the rankings. Inactivity by Gotch and Giant Baba due to injuries caused both men to drop in the rankings.
World Tag Team Champions: Midnight Express (c) 1. Road Warriors (1) 2. Valiants (3) 3. Killer Bees (2) 4. Valentines (5) 5. Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff (NR)

Yeah, I replayed the incident where Kowalski bit off a piece of Yukon Eric's ear and then decided to make it even more over the top by having Kowalski wear the ear around his neck. This has set the stage for the first-ever (I think) ear match in wrestling history. At my Backlash PPV on May 7, Yukon Eric wrestles Killer Kowalski in a Texas hardcore death match. If Yukon Eric wins, Killer Kowalski has promised to give him back his ear. But if Kowalski wins, he has vowed to bite off Yukon Eric's other ear.
Post by canadianpittbull on Apr 25, 2006 18:24:01 GMT -5
This is such an awesome storyline! I cannot wait for Backlash and see if Yukon Eric gets his chunk of ear back. Reminds me of Dolph from Universal Soldier. Cannot wait to see how this plays out.
Post by gwffantrav on Apr 25, 2006 22:42:37 GMT -5
You need to have a story line, like when Triple H was getting his quad redone by James Andrews...have Yukon Eric in the hospital getting the ear sewn up by the doc....hell, Kowalski could pull an Austin and attack him!!!
Post by stephenvegas on Apr 26, 2006 0:37:59 GMT -5
Candianpittbull, I am also curious as to how this plays out with the dice at Backlash. But I think the odds are against Yukon Eric because a Texas hardcore death match seems to favor Kowlaski's style.
GWFfanTrav, I like the hospital angle you suggested. (Perhaps this could even take place in an ambulance on the way to the hospital when Yukon Eric suddenly discovers that Kowalski is his medical personnel and Kowlaski's Road Warriors are driving the ambulance to put Yukon Eric literally on a "highway to Hell.") But first Yukon Eric needs to get his ear back from Kowalski at Backlash.
In the match I have this week coming up on Major League Wrestling: Showtime that involves Kowalski teaming up with the Road Warriors, I plan to have Kowalski still wearing Yukon Eric's ear around his neck on his way to the ring.
Now I am going to post this week's preview for MLW: Showtime!

Major League Wrestling: Showtime Preview for Friday April 28, 2006 @ Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah
This week Major League Wrestling: Showtime stops in Salt Lake City!
As announced on last week's edition of Showtime, Major League Wrestling (MLW) owner and General Manager Bruno Sammartino announced that this week's main event would be a six man tag team match in which Buddy Rogers would have to team up with Bobo Brazil and Mil Mascaras (Rogers's two opponents in the triple threat match at Backlash to decide MLW's first United States Champion) against the Road Warriors and their manager Killer Kowalski! Will Rogers, Brazil, and Mascaras be able to work together to take on perhaps the most intimidating trio in MLW?
Also, Antonino Rocca gets to "pick the poison" or mystery opponent this week for World Champion Nick Bockwinkel who Rocca faces at Backlash for the World Championship. After Bocwinkel ambushed Rocca last week by picking the Heenan Family's problem solver Ox Baker as Rocca's "poison," who will Rocca choose to face Bockwinkel in an attempt to return the favor?
In addition, Sammartino is expected to announce the final matches for Backlash including a major announcement for the entire tag team division- except for the Road Warriors and Midnight Express who are already scheduled to face each other at Backlash in a best 2 out of 3 falls match for the Midnight Express's World Tag Team Championship!
Plus Harley Race and Bobby Heenan are scheduled to be on the "Hot Seat" and more!

Friday April 28, 2006 Major League Wrestling: Showtime Live from the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah
Start of Show: Bruno Sammartino, owner and General Manager of Major League Wrestling (MLW), is in the ring to make announcements. Sammartino says that the matches on tonight's card include Antonino Rocca picking the "poison" or surprise opponent of World Champion Nick Bockwinkel who Rocca is set to face for the World Championship at Backlash on Sunday May 7. Sammartino also mentions that tonight Buddy Rogers will have to team up with Mil Mascaras and Bobo Brazil (Rogers's two opponents in the Triple Threat match at Backlash to decide MLW's first United States Champion) in a six man tag team match against the Road Warriors and Killer Kowalski. Finally, Sammartino says that at Backlash MLW will crown not only its first United States Champion but also its first United States Tag Team Champions in a tag team turmoil match and all the tag teams currently ranked in the top 5, except for the Road Warriors and the Midnight Express who are set to battle for the Midnight Express's World Tag Team Championship in a best 2 out of 3 contest at Backlash, need to meet him in his office immediately.
1st Match: Jimmy Snuka vs Gorgeous George. Before the tune up match for the two men scheduled to meet in MLW's first ever steel cage match at Backlash started, George grabbed ring announcer Gary Michael Cappetta and threatened to hit him because he thought Cappetta had said "Gorgeous" too sarcastically during his ring introduction. But Snuka then runs into the ring to save Cappetta and the opening match is on! Snuka had complete early control in the match with repeated leap frogs and chops over a bewildered George. Snuka continued to maintain control of the match by continuing to perform moves such as his flying headbutt, power slam, backbreaker, and piledriver. Snuka went up to the top turnbuckle to finish off George with his SUPERFLY LEAP but, to the surprise of the crowd, Snuka misses as George managed to roll out of the way. As Snuka crashed into the mat, George immediately applied his SPINNING TOE HOLD and made Snuka tap out by grabbing the ropes for extra leverage without the referee noticing. As George pranced back to the locker room, Snuka grabbed a microphone and challenged George to one last tune up match next week on Showtime in Reno before their steel cage confrontation at Backlash.
Sammartino's Office: Sammartino meets with the Killer Bees, Valiants, Valentines, and the Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff. Sammartino told the four tag teams that, while the tag team turmoil match at Backlash is open to all officially registered MLW tag teams, they will be the only teams who will get to compete for the right to improve their odds in Las Vegas at Backlash by entering the contest last. Sammartino tells the Killer Bees, Valiants, Valentines, and Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff that tonight on Showtime they will compete in a fatal four way elimination tag team match and the winning team will have the advantage at Backlash by being the last team to enter the match. As the teams leave Sammartino's office, the Killer Bees approach the Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff and tell them that they will do all they can to ensure that such anti-US scum as themselves never win the United States Tag Team Championship. The Iron Sheik tells B. Brian Blair he is a typical weak American and that if he gets the chance he will put him in the CAMEL CLUTCH "to break his back and make him humble."
Match #2: Antonino Rocca chooses Nick Bockwinkel's "poison"- surprise opponent. Rocca meets Bockwinkel, accompanied by manager Bobby Heenan and Ox Baker- the Heenan Family's "problem solver," in the ring and then presents Bockwinkel's opponent as none other than Dan Severn- the special referee for Rocca's match against Bockwinkel at Backlash! The match begins with both Severn and Bockwinkel trading and countering moves until Bockwinkel throws Severn into the ropes. Rocca then alerts the referee that Baker is gnawing on Severn's head and the ref responds by throwing Baker out of the ring area and back to the locker room to the cheer of the crowd! Bockwinkel remained in control until he threw Severn into the ropes and Severn countered with a shoulder tackle to send Bockwinkel to the mat. Severn then gave Bockwinkel a choke sleeper and then attempted a running shoulder tackle. But Bockwinkel defensively moved out of the way and, as Severn suddenly tried to stop his forward momentum, applied an abdominal stretch to force Severn to submit. After the match, Rocca entered the ring to tend to Severn who was down by one of the turnbuckles. Heenan began frantically motioning to someone from the locker room but, instead of Baker, a large bald man who appeared to be almost 6 1/2 feet and nearly 450 pounds arrives and sets up to ram both Severn and Rocca into one of the turnbuckles. But Severn sees the newcomer and motions to Rocca who quickly manages to set Severn outside the ring and dexterously jump out of the way as the large bald man misses both of them and crashes into the turnbuckle! As Rocca helps Severn back to the locker room, the large unidentified man begins to loudly stomp on the mat as Bockwinkel and Heenan look on approvingly.
Backstage: Maxine Babe tells Buddy Rogers she's worried he might get hurt in the six man tag because he has to team with two rivals against the Road Warriors and Killer Kowalski. Rogers tells Maxine Babe that he plans to ensure that Brazil and Mascaras suffer the brunt of the beating from the Road Warriors and Kowalski while he stays fresh for the triple threat match at Backlash for the United States Championship. As Rogers is explaining his plan to Maxine Babe, she starts to urgently gesture behind him and Rogers turns, too late, to see Sammartino listening. Sammartino tells Rogers that in order to ensure he works as a team with Brazil and Mascaras tonight, he is changing tonight's main event to be a six man tag team elimination match so it will not benefit Rogers at all if one of his partners is pinned under "controversial" circumstances. Furthermore, Sammartino says he will throw Roger out of the US Championship triple threat match at Backlash if Rogers intentionally loses by countout or disqualification. Sammartino leaves Rogers fuming next to Maxine Babe.
Announcement by Splatter: Over the Delta Center's intercom, MLW's spokesman Splatter suddenly tells the crowd in Salt Lake City and everybody watching on television the following message: "Coming to Las Vegas on Memorial Day weekend, Major League Wrestling presents The Sammartino Invitational. Don't you DARE miss it." The announcers and the crowd confusingly ask each other "What is the Sammartino Invitational? What is Splatter talking about?"
Match #3: Killer Bees vs Valiants (managed by Captain Lou Albano) vs Valentines vs Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff (managed by Nikita Breznikov) in a fatal four-way elimination tag team match to determine who will be the last team to enter the tag team turmoil match at Backlash to decide MLW''s first United States Tag Team Champions. The match began with Jimmy Valiant facing Johnny Valentine. Jimmy Valiant was nearly pinned due to repeated ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHERs but was saved due to interference by Albano. Later in the match, Johnny Valiant had the Iron Sheik in trouble and tagged in to Blair. Blair began attacking the Iron Sheik but the Iron Sheik turned the situation around and pinned Blair via a sidewinder suplex to eliminate the Killer Bees. After scoring the pinfall, the Iron Sheik continued to attack Blair and nailed him with his loaded boot. But Jimmy Valiant ran in to save Blair and by attacking the Iron Sheik from behind. The Valiants tagged in and out to control the match against the Iron Sheik and Volkoff while the Valentines watched from their corner. Johnny Valiant then threw the Iron Sheik out of the ring and smashed him into a table at ringside. Johnny Valiant appeared to have the match won as he threw an unsteady Iron Sheik back into the ring and gave him a SPINNING NECKBREAKER. But as Johnny Valentine stood up to move over and pin the Iron Sheik, Breznikov jumped on the ring apron and nailed Johnny Valentine in the head with a club. The Iron Sheik then crawled over to pin Johnny Valiant to eliminate the Valiants. The action went back and forth between he last two teams- the Valentines and the Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff- as the Iron Sheik somehow kicked out of two pin attempts and Johnny Valentine managed to survive two BACKBREAKER DROPS from Volkoff. Finally, Greg Valentine threw the Iron Sheik into the turnbuckle but charged and missed as the Iron Sheik moved out of the way before Greg Valentine collided with him. The Iron Sheik then forced Greg Valentine to tap out to the CAMEL CLUTCH to eliminate the Valentines. The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff win the right to enter the tag team turmoil match last at Backlash to determine Major League Wrestling's first United States Tag Team Champions!
Hot Seat: Harley Race, Bobby Heenan, and Ox Baker are the guests.
Apter: "First of all, Bobby Heenan, I want to state that I know from my previous work in different feds that the man you called to the ring to try to take out Rocca and Severn before they join Bockwinkel in the ring at Backlash is none other than King Kong Bundy and that MLW GM Bruno Sammartino has already signed Bundy to make his debut at Backlash against S.D. Jones."
Heenan: " After Backlash, they'll be calling S. D. Jones R.I.P. Jones. I came on this show tonight to demand that Harley Race also be allowed to participate in the triple threat match at Backlash to determine the United States Championship since he defeated both of those two bozos-Brazil and Mascaras- by teaming with Rogers in Showtime's main event last week."
Apter: "Well I have been instructed by Sammartino to inform you that Harley Race will indeed be competing at Backlash but not for the United States Championship. Instead, Race will be taking on Frank Gotch who the three of you sent to the hospital two weeks ago. Sammartino also declared three stipulations for this match: 1) Ox Baker and the rest of the Heenan Family will be banned from ringside for the match at Backlash between Gotch and Race. They will be immediately subjected to a two week suspension if they do appear. 2) You Bobby Heenan will be placed in a steel cage 15 feet above the ring during the match. 3) If Gotch wins, he gets to wrestle you Bobby Heenan one on one!"
Heenan: "That's supposed to intimidate me? Race will wipe the mat with that bum Gotch at Backlash just like he will to Rocca when he meets him in the main event next week on Showtime."
Apter: "Finally, I just want to mention that I would not want to be in Ox Baker's shoes when Giant Baba returns from the hospital and meets him at Backlash."
Heenan: "Of course not. Baker wears a 14 and you wear a 9. This interview is over!"
Add for Backlash on Sunday May 7: a) Antonino Rocca challenges Nick Bockwinkel for the World Championship with Dan Severn as the guest referee, b) the Road Warriors challenge the Midnight Express for the World Tag Team Championship in a best 2 out of 3 falls contest, c) Buddy Rogers vs Bobo Brazil vs Mil Mascaras in a triple threat match to determine MLW's first United States Championship, d) Frank Gotch vs Harley Race with the following stipulations: the Heenan Family is banned from ringside and Bobby Heenan will be placed in a cage and have to wrestle Gotch one on one if Gotch defeats Race, e) Giant Baba vs Ox Baker, f) Jimmy Snuka vs Gorgeous George (steel cage match), g) Yukon Eric vs Killer Kowalski in an "ear match" as Yukon Eric tries to regain the severed part of his ear back from Kowalski who vows to bite off Yukon Eric's other ear if he (Kowalski) wins the match, h) Valiants vs Killer Bees vs Valentines vs Flying Redheads vs Regulators vs Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff in a tag team turmoil match to determine MLW's first United States Tag Team Champions and the Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff have won the right to be the last team to enter the match, and i) S.D. Jones vs King Kong Bundy as Bundy makes his MLW debut!
Match #4: Main Event: Buddy Rogers, Bobo Brazil, and Mil Mascaras vs the Road Warriors and Killer Kowalski in a six man tag team elimination match. Kowalski arrived still wearing Yukon Eric's ear around his neck and tied the ear around the ring post at he start of the match. First elimination: Animal is eliminated for ramming a televison monitor into Brazil's head outside of the ring. Rogers was close enough to stop Animal but decided to do nothing but alert the ref and thus managed to get Animal eliminated while still allowing Brazil to get pummeled. Second elimination: Hawk pinned Mascaras via a DOOMSDAY DEVICE that he performed with the help of his manager Kowalski. It appeared Rogers was close enough to make a pin save but he did not attempt to break up the three count. Also, Mascaras earlier in the match crawled over to Rogers and tried to tag out to him while on defense but Rogers pretended to not see Mascaras's calls for help. Third elimination: Hawk was eliminated by Brazil's COCO BUTT after he became distracted by Jim Cornette and the Midnight Express who came down to the ring to distract him and Kowalski. Animal then returned to the ring area and the Road Warriors brawled to the back with their Backlash opponents the Midnight Express. Fourth elimination: Kowalski made Brazil submit to his KOWALSKI CLAW. It appeared Brazil had Kowalski defeated and the match won but Rogers snuck up and nailed his tag team partner in the groin with a chair. Kowalski then applied his finisher to eliminate Brazil. Fifth elimination: After betraying Brazil, Rogers quickly finished off Kowalski by making him submit to his FIGUREFOUR GRAPEVINE to win the match as the sole survivor.
Rogers and Maxine Babe start to celebrate when Sammartino comes out and tells them that next week in Reno, MLW: Showtime's final show before Backlash, Rogers will take on Mascaras and Brazil will serve as the special referee. Rogers and Maxine Babe again look upset as the show fades to black. See you next Friday from Reno!

Saturday April 28, 2006 (broadcast date) Major League Wrestling: All Stars (my "B" show).
Match #1: War Chief Omega defeated Scimitar. War Chief Omega finally put Scimitar away with an elbow drop after Scimitar impressively kicked out of several TOMAHAWK CHOPS.
Match #2: The Sandman pinned Johnny Rocket. After a Heinekenrana, Sandman managed to use his SINGAPORE CANE without the referee noticing to put away Rocket. After the match, the Sandman, lit his match against Rocket's slumped body to light his cigarette.
Match #3: Buff Bagwell (with Cassandra) pinned Major Ursa. In his Major League Wrestling (MLW) debut, Bagwell was accompanied to the ring by his manager Cassandra. Bagwell was so preoccupied trying to arrogantly pose to the crowd that Major Ursa surprised him with some early offense including a series of boxing jabs and elbow drops. But Bagwell regained control by dodging a running shoulder tackle by Major Ursa who was then tossed from the ring only to have Cassandra press her heel down on his throat. Bagwell threw Major Ursa back into the ring and then executed a swinging neck breaker followed by a double arm DDT to pin Major Ursa. After the match, Bagwell grabbed the microphone and told the crowd "Buff..... is the Stuff!"
Match #4: S.D. Jones defeated Austin Turk. This was a tuneup match for S.D. Jones as he prepares to face MLW newcomer King Kong Bundy at Backlash on Sunday July 7. Apparently Jones was preoccupied with the thought of his upcoming match with Bundy because Austin Turk twice nearly pinned him after an Austin hammer and after a SPURSHOWER. Finally, Austin Turk threw Jones into the turnbuckle but Jones countered by kicking Turk in the face as Turk came charging in. As Turk crashed to the mat, Jones put him away with 2 HEADBUTTS.
color=Yellow]Match #5 Danny Hodge easily defeated Dirty Black Bart. Hodge appears to be back on track after suffering his surprising defeat to Scimitar 3 weeks ago as he defeated Bart in just a couple of minutes via an Indian deathlock.
Match #6: Brutus Beefcake defeated Virgil. Beefcake had control the entire match and used his finisher FLYING KNEE SMASH to put away Virgil. After the match, Beefcake looked up to see Bagwell applauding him along with Cassandra.
Major League Wrestling's Grand Slam of the Week: The footage from Showtime shows how Buddy Rogers manipulated his way into winning the 6 man tag team elimination match while also sending a message to his tag team partners and opponents (Mil Mascaras and Bobo Brazil) in the triple threat match at Backlash to decide MLW's first United States Champion. Forced by MLW owner and GM Bruno Sammartino to team with Mascaras and Brazil against the Road Warriors and Killer Kowalski, Rogers strategically ensured he was the only survivor. The footage shows the end of the match when Rogers, Brazil, and Kowalski were the only men left. The footage continues to show that Brazil appeared ready to pin Kowalski following a COCO BUTT but Rogers snuck up from behind and intentionally nailed his "tag partner" in the groin with a steel chair from behind. The footage ends by showing Kowalski then eliminating Brazil via his KOWALSKI CLAW and Rogers then putting a battered Kowalski away via his FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE.
Match #7: Buddy Rose pinned "Precious" Paul Ellering. As usual, the ladies in the crowd started flashing their cameras as Buddy Rose made his way to ringside. Ellering was visibly jealous by all the attention Rose was getting from the women and immediately attacked Rose as he entered the ring. The match ended when Rose moved out of the way from the turnbuckle which Ellering crashed into and then fell on his back onto the mat. Rose then finished off Ellering via BOMBS AWAY.
Backstage: Beefcake is approached by Bagwell and Cassandra. Bagwell tells Beefcake he likes his style and wants him to form a tag team with him to enter the tag team turmoil match for the United States Tag Team Championship at Backlash. Beefcake mentions that the tag team turmoil match is only for tag teams already officially registered with Sammartino's office and Bagwell responds that Sammartino is waiving that requirement for Bagwell and a partner of his choice due to Bagwell's repeated success as a tag team champion in another territory. Beefcake agrees to form a tag team with Bagwell and Cassandra promptly names them the Heart Thrashers.
Add for Backlash on Sunday may 7 in Las Vegas: a) Antonino Rocca challenges Nick Bockwinkel for the World Championship with Dan Severn as the special referee, b) The Road Warriors challenge the Midnight Express for the World Tag Team Championship in a best 2 out of 3 falls contest, c) Buddy Rogers vs Bobo Brazil vs Mil Mascaras in a triple threat match to become MLW's first United States Championship, d) Frank Gotch vs Harley Race- Heenan Family is banned from ringside, Bobby Heenan will be in a small cage above the ring, and Gotch gets to wrestle Heenan if he beats Race, e) Giant Baba vs Ox Baker, f) Jimmy Snuka vs Gorgeous George (steel cage match), g) Yukon Eric vs Killer Kowalski in an ear match, h) Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff vs Valiants vs Killer Bees vs Valentines vs Flying Redheads vs Regulators vs Heart Thrashers in a tag team turmoil match to become MLW's first United States Tag team Champions (Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff have earned the right to enter the match last), and I) S. D. Jones vs King Kong Bundy (Bundy makes his MLW wrestling debut).l
Match #9, the Main Event: The Flying Redheads defeated the Regulators. In a good match between two of the teams involved in Backlash's tag team turmoil match, the Flying Redheads won when Billy Red Lyons forced Cowboy Bob Orton Jr. to submit to Lyons's SLEEPERHOLD.
See you next week on the final show before MLW presents Backlash! (Show fades to black).

Major League Wrestling (MLW) Preview for Backlash PPV Sunday May 7 @ Thomas and Mack in Las Vegas, Nevada
Main Event: Antonino Rocca vs Nick Bockwinkel (managed by Bobby Heenan) for Bockwinkel's World Championship with Dan Severn as the special referee. Rocca finally gets his title shot against Bockwinkel. The Heenan Family has tried, apparently unsuccessfully, to bribe special referee Severn to call things "appropriately."
The Road Warriors (managed by Killer Kowalski) vs the Midnight Express (managed by Jim Cornette) for the the Midnight Express's World Tag Team Championship in a best 2 out of 3 falls contest. Two of the most unpopular tag teams in MLW will wrestle for the World Tag Team Championship.
Buddy Rogers vs Bobo Brazil vs Mil Mascaras in a triple threat match to determine MLW's first United States Champion. The last three men from the original US Championship tournament face off in a triple threat match. Last week on MLW: Showtime, Rogers, Brazil, and Mascaras had to team together to take on the Road Warriors and Killer Kowalski in a 6 man tag team elimination match. Rogers helped the Road Warriors and Kowalski eliminate both Mascaras and Brazil before ultimately ending up as the only survivor. Will Rogers continue his winning streak Sunday at Backlash to become MLW's first ever United States Champion?
Frank Gotch vs Harley Race. Ox Baker and the rest of the Heenan Family are banned from ringside, Heenan will be in a small cage above the ring, and Gotch gets to wrestle Heenan if he defeats Race! Frank Gotch seeks revenge against Race and Heenan who played a major role in sending him to the hospital three weeks ago on Showtime. Gotch has also accused Race and Heenan for the food poisoning he received right before the Semifinals in the World Championship Tournament at the end of March that caused him to lose to Race in just a handful of moves. Will Gotch achieve revenge against Race and Heenan at Backlash this Sunday?
Jimmy Snuka vs Gorgeous George (steel cage match). In one of MLW's most intense feuds, Snuka and George face each other in MLW's first-ever steel cage match. Snuka defeated George in the First Round of the World Championship Tournament only to be sprayed in the eyes with George's customized beauty spray. Snuka also eliminated George in the battle royal to determine the wild card for the United States tournament and defeated George again in a falls count anywhere match on Showtime two weeks ago. George however managed to steal a victory over Snuka last week on Showtime by grabbing the ropes as he applied his SPINNING TOE HOLD FINISHER. Expect the blood to flow as both men undoubtedly will look to use the cage as a weapon against their hated opponent.
Giant Baba vs Ox Baker (managed by Bobby Heenan). This match will mark the return of Giant Baba to the ring three weeks after Baker put him in the hospital via a HEART PUNCH. Heenan has vowed that Baker will send Giant Baba right back to the hospital at Backlash.
Yukon Eric vs Killer Kowalski. This match is unofficially the first- ever "ear match" in wrestling history! Yukon Eric has not wrestled since Kowalski bit off part if his ear in a wrestling match three weeks ago on Showtime. Since that match, Kowalski has worn Yukon Eric's severed piece of ear around his neck. Kowalski has promised to return Yukon Eric's ear if Yukon Eric defeats him at Backlash. However, Kowalski has also promised to bite off part of Yukon Eric's other ear if Kowalski wins at Backlash.
Tag Team Turmoil Match to determine MLW;s first-ever United States Tag Team Champions. Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff vs Killer Bees vs Valiants vs Flying Redheads vs Valentines vs Regulators vs Heart Thrashers. Seven teams will compete to become MLW's first United States Tag Team Champions. The randomly-selected teams will begin the match and another team will join the match each time one of the two teams in the ring is eliminated. While nobody knows the order of entry for the teams, the Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff have earned the right to enter the match last due to their victory in the fatal four way elimination tag team match on Showtime last week.
S. D. Jones vs King Kong Bundy (managed by Bobby Heenan). Bundy is scheduled to make his in-ring debut for MLW at Backlash>
Hot Seat: Bruno Sammartino, MLW's owner and general Manager, himself will be the guest. Sammartino will reveal just what is the Sammartino Invitational that is to be held over Memorial Day weekend in Las Vegas that MLW spokesman Splatter mysteriously talked about on Showtime last week.
The "official" theme song for Backlash is "Reach for the Sky" by Social Distortion from their album "Sex, Love, 'n' Rock and Roll."
(Play it loud!)

Major League Wrestling: Showtime Preview for Friday May 5 @ Lawlor Events Center in Reno, NV
Major League Wrestling rolls into Reno this Friday!
On the final Showtime before Backlash this Sunday, Antonino Rocca will wrestle Harley Race as Race's manager Bobby Heenan attempts one last time to soften Rocca up before he meets World Champion Nick Bockwinkel in a title match at Backlash.
In addition, the office of Bruno Sammartino, the owner and general manager of Major League Wrestling (MLW), has declared that the Road Warriors and their manager Killer Kowalski will once again compete in a 6 man tag team match on Showtime when they take on the team of the Midnight Express and Jim Cornette. Last week on Showtime, the Road Warriors and Kowalski lost to the team of Buddy Rogers, Bobo Brazil, and Mil Mascaras thanks in part to interference by the Midnight Express. How will they fare this week as the Road Warriors get set to challenge the Midnight Express for the World Tag Team Championship in a best 2 out of 3 falls contest at Backlash on Sunday?
Also, one week after betraying both Brazil and Mascaras in their match against the Road Warriors and Kowalski, Buddy Rogers is scheduled to wrestle against Bobo Brazil with Mil Mascaras serving as the special referee. Will anything notable occur between these three just two days before they compete in a triple threat match to become MLW's first United States Champion?
Finally, Jimmy Snuka is set to take on Gorgeous George in a final tune up match before they meet in MLW's first-ever steel cage match at Backlash and teams involved in Sunday's tag team turmoil match to become MLW's first United States Tag Team Champions will be in action!
All this and more on Friday's edition of Showtime!
Splatter says: "Major League Wrestling. Don't you DARE miss it!"

So do I! I am especially eager to see how the dice roll for the ear match. On Sunday at Backlash, Kowalski (if he loses) either has to give back Yukon Eric's ear that he bit off or (if Kowalski wins) he says he is going to bite off Yukon Eric's other ear. So Yukon Eric might be earless in a few days. Also, there has to be a clear winner because it is a hardcore Texas death match with no dq or countout. Lately, Kowalski has been wearing Yukon Eric's ear around his neck and tying it around the ring post when he wrestles.
