Nice to see the Double Axe Attack face off against Bock and Stevens !
Can we officially call Gorgeous George, Sin and Londos, Thantos? Maybe that'll set off a chain of events that will turn Londos heel!

Yeah I love the Double Axe attack but they are not really doing well in my fed at the moment. They came in strong and then had a brief run in with Trav's Memphis Bootleg Moondogs(who are vicious! btw) and haven't seen much action since.
I am interested in following their careers in Stephen's fed and rooting for them.

Major League Wrestling (MLW) NWA:NITRO Friday 09/08/06 Dahlberg Arena in Missoula, Montana
Match #1: Fabulous Kangaroos (managed by Captain Kangaroo) vs World Tag Team Champions Midnight Express (managed by Jim Cornette) in a best 2 out of 3 falls title match.
Cornette selected Bobby Eaton and Dennis Condrey as the two members of the Midnight Express who would defend the World Tag Team Championship against the Fabulous Kangaroos tonight.
Fall #1
Eaton started this fall by giving Al Costello a spin under takedown which pushed the Kangaroo toward Cornette who quickly whacked Costello with his tennis racket. Eaton then hit Costello with a deathjump and then along with Condrey performed 2 straight VEG-O-MATICS to Costello- the second of which led to a 3 count in a surprisingly easy victory for the Midnight Express. The Midnight Express are leading 1-0 in this best 2 out of 3 falls match.
Winners of Fall #1: Midnight Express. The Midnight Express are leading 1-0 in this best 2 out of 3 falls match.
Fall #2:
The second fall of this match turned out to be awesome and perhaps the best match ever in the history of NWA:NITRO for Major League Wrestling (MLW). But once again the Midnight Express won as Eaton and Condrey worked together to give Costello another VEG-O-MATIC. But the crowd gave both teams a standing ovation for what turned out to be a classic during the Second Fall.
Winners of Second Fall: Midnight Express. The Midnight Express win this match 2-0 to retain their World Tag Team Championship.
Note: There were a combined 14 pin/submission attempts made in the second fall of this match and the Midnight Express were fortunate to pick up the victory as Condrey's PIN had risen from 3 to 10! In the Ring: United States Champion Buddy Rogers and the rest of the Four Horsemen (Harley Race and the United States Tag Team Champions the Valentines).
-Rogers demands an answer from MLW Chairman Bruno Sammartino about his request for a rematch against Frank Gotch who last week defeated Rogers to win the MLW Championship. -Sammartino and Gotch arrive in the ring. -Sammartino tells Rogers that he does not have the right to demand anything from and reminds the entire Four Horsemen that he (Sammartino) suspended Ivan Koloff for 30 days last week and can do the same to any of them if they get out of line. -Sammartino also tells Rogers that he (Rogers) was apparently so arrogantly confident that he would defeat Gotch that he overlooked the fact there was no automatic rematch clause in the contract for last week's match and thus it is Gotch's decision whether to grant Rogers a rematch for the MLW Championship -Gotch tells Rogers he will give him a rematch provided he agrees to first defend his (Rogers') United States Championship tonight against Diamond Dallas Page who Gotch thinks deserves another title shot. -Rogers arrogantly agrees by commenting that he defeated DDP twice at Summer Slam and that DDP is not even ranked on this week's Power 25 for Major League Wrestling (MLW)
Match #2: Billy "Red" Lyons vs Rick Rude
Lyons started off in control and almost won via a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK- but Rude was able to grab the ropes to force Lyons to break his finishing hold. Rude soon countered by dodging a flying head scissors and then hitting Lyons with a suplex followed by a clothesline. Rude remained in control and the end came when he threw Lyons out of the ring and then waited as Lyons climbed helplessly back between the ropes to hit him with a swinging neckbreaker for the victory.
Winner: Rick Rude
Match #3: Giant Baba vs Harley Race
A competitive match that saw the action shift back and forth between Baba and Race and outside interference from allies of both wrestlers. At one point Race threw Baba out of the ring where Race's fellow Horsemen the Valentines pounded away on Baba before throwing him back into the ring toward Race. At that moment, Dan Severn, Baba's former tag team partner with whom he briefly won the World Tag Team Championship back in June, arrived in Baba's corner to counter the outside distraction of the Valentines. Although Severn prevented the Valentines from interfering in the match again, Race ended up winning via a swinging neckbreaker to Baba.
Winner: Harley Race
Hot Seat: Hardcore Hodge is the guest
Bill Apter: "Hardcore Hodge, I understand you are here on the Hot Seat today to announce that you have a new tag team partner."
Hodge: "That's right Bill and here he comes now."
Steve Corino arrives at the Hot Seat.
Apter: "Steve Corino is your partner? But you two just had a best of 7 hardcore series against each other."
Corino: "That's right. But after our series ended last week we were both brutally attacked with Singapore canes by the Barroom Heroes under the direction of their manager Phantasy because they claim they are more hardcore than me and Hardcore Hodge."
Hodge: "So now we have a common enemy in Phantasy and the Barroom Heroes."
Apter: "Do you two have a name for your tag team?'
Corino: "Yes we do. It is well known about Phantasy's former job of providing what is called guest services for a questionable corporation called the Penthouse Suite. So Hardcore Hodge and myself are calling our tag team Operation:Pimp because we are going after Phantasy and her men the Barroom Heroes."
Hodge: "We even already got MLW Chairman Sammartino to agree to a match for next week between Operation:Pimp and the Barroom Heroes and I can't wait ........."
Phantasy (suddenly appearing from behind with the Barroom Heroes): "You won't have to!"
Caught by surprise, Hodge and Corino are again attacked by the Sandman and Justin Credible with their Singapore canes and beaten down before Phantasy and her men leave the Hot Seat.
Match #4: Road Warriors and Splatter vs Bruiser Brody, Steve "Dr. Death" Williams, and Killer Kowalski
The Road Warriors and Splatter completely dominated this match as Animal soon had Kowalski alone in the ring where he gave him an overhead bodyslam followed by a flying shoulder ram, 2 POWERSLAMS that Kowalski manged to kick out of, and then a spike piledriver before tagging in Hawk. The Road Warriors then gave their former manager Kowalski a DOOMSDAY DEVICE for the victory.
Winners: Road Warriors and Splatter
Add for Sin City Showdown: Sunday October 8, Las Vegas, NV 1. MLW Chairman Bruno Sammartino vs Ivan Koloff in a chain match 2. Additional matches to be announced later.
Match #5, the main event: Diamond Dallas Page (accompanied by Diamond Doll Maxine Babe) vs United States Champion Buddy Rogers in a title match.
MLW Champion Frank Gotch provided guest commentary for this match. DDP looked awesome in this match. As Rogers started off the match yelling at Gotch, DDP nailed him with a head scissors followed by 2 straight discus clotheslines and a swinging neckbreaker. DDP then almost won the match via a Diamond Dream and then forced Rogers to just kick out of a DIAMOND CUTTER. As Rogers stumbled to his feet, DDP hit him with a Russian Leg Sweep. Rogers then left the ring seeking to recover from DDP's onslaught but DDP followed him out. Rogers grabbed the time keeper's bell and tried to smash in on DDP's head. But, in self-defense, DP grabbed the time keeper's bell before it hit him and his deflection caused the bell to smash against Rogers' head. The referee, to the outrage of both Gotch and Page, disqualified Page as a result.
Winner: Buddy Rogers by DQ.
Knowing he escaped from a match in which he was being clearly overmatched by Page, Rogers grinned and smiled at Gotch to remind him of his promise as the show ends and the screen fades to black.

Looks like you have some very strong champions, Stephen. Good card as always! Thanks Knapik! I was surprised that the Fabulous Kangaroos could not win at least one of the falls against the Midnight Express because I think the Kangaroos are actually undefeated against everyone else they have wrestled in my fed so far except for the Midnight Express. In the other title match on my last card, Page really outperformed Rogers and I don't think Rogers even got a single move of offense in. The way the ending played out with the dice is that Rogers rolled his (lv) on L3D so he left the ring to get a breather. But then I rolled a 4 on the updated out of the ring charts using Rogers' B ring rating so DDP followed him out and a brawl ensued with both wrestlers having to roll their DQ. Rogers rolled higher than his DQ but Page did not which allowed Rogers to steal the win and retain his title. Knapik, I have something coming up in Major League Wrestling that I really think you in particular are going to like. I am going to announce what I am talking about in a few weeks but will PM you before then about this.

There's something really funny about Danny Hodge in a team called Operation: Pimp And poor Kowalski Good stuff all around! I got the name Operation:Pimp earlier this summer from the local news here in Sin City. What happened was there was a sudden major influx of prostitutes advertising themselves on Tropicana Avenue here. Because prostitution is technically illegal within the city limits of Sin City (but legal in most of the rest of Nevada), the local police launched a major crackdown called Operation:Pimp on this. When I heard it, I wrote it down for future use as a tag team name in my fed. With Hodge and Corino now teaming up against the Barroom Heroes and their manager Phantasy who used to work for the Penthouse Suite, it just seemed like the right time to bring the name in.

WOW! Top show bud! The Midnight/Kangaroo match sounds like it was a party with crimson masks mandatory!
Buddy Rogers is by far my favourite heel on your roster right now. And what is there not to like about that Sin City Showdown rematch of Sammartino/Koloff where chains are legal. This will give a bit of an edge to The Russian Bear but this will be a top match! I enjoyed their first encounter on your program now this one is going to be stellar!
Well done!

Major League Wrestling (MLW) AWA:RAW PREVIEW for Thursday September 14, 2006
On the last edition of AWA:RAW before Major League Wrestling presents Unforgiven this Sunday, World Champion Nick Bockwinkel and his opponent at Unforgiven, Bobo Brazil, will be on opposing sides in a tag team main event. Bockwinkel will team with fellow Heenan Family member Ray Stevens against the Brothers of Other Mothers (Brazil and Mil Mascaras).
In addition, the Killer Bees will take on MLW Tag Team Champions the Heart Thrashers in a non-title match just 3 days before the teams compete in a best 2 out of 3 falls title match at Unforgiven! Also, it will be the CRUSHER BOLO vs the HEART PUNCH as the Crusher squares off against the Heenan Family's "problem solver" Ox Baker in a finisher match before wrestling Heenan Family member King Kong Bundy at Unforgiven.
Finally, Ida Mae Martinez and Sherri Martel will compete in their best of 7 series (Martinez leads 1-0) to determine Major League Wrestling's first-ever Ladies Champion. And will there be any additional matches added to the card for Unforgiven? All this and more this week on AWA:RAW!
Now it is time for the preview of Major League Wrestling's other brand- the NWA.
Major League Wrestling (MLW) NWA:NITRO PREVIEW for Friday September 15, 2006
On last week's edition of NWA:NITRO, United States Champion Buddy Rogers agreed to defend his title against Diamond Dallas Page in exchange for a rematch against MLW Champion Frank Gotch. After surviving his match against Page thanks to a questionable call that caused Page's DQ, Rogers has demanded that his rematch against Gotch be granted on this week's edition of NWA:NITRO and Gotch has indeed agreed to wrestle Rogers this week!
In addition, following last week's match that saw the Midnight Express defeat the Fabulous Kangaroos in two straight falls to retain the World Tag Team Championship, there will be a #1 contenders match between the Kangaroos vs Johnny Valiant and the Boogie Woogie Man for the right to challenge the Midnight Express at Sin City Showdown on October 8.
Also, following their defeat against the Road Warriors and MLW spokesman Splatter on last week's edition of NWA:NITRO, Killer Kowalski and his Dungeon of Doom members Bruiser Brody and Steve "Dr. Death" Williams have announced they will issue, on the Hot Seat this week, a new challenge to the Road Warriors and Splatter for Sin City Showdown. Finally, the new tag team Operation:Pimp of Hardcore Hodge and Steve Corino will make their debut together as they confront Phantasy's Barroom Heroes (Sandman and Justin Credible).
Splatter, Major League Wrestling's (MLW's) spokesman, says: "Major League Wrestling (MLW). Don't you DARE miss it!"

Major League Wrestling (MLW) AWA:RAW Thursday September 14, 2006 Thomas @ Mack in Las Vegas, NV (First Half of show)
With only 3 days to go until the AWA brand of Major League Wrestling (MLW) presents Unforgiven, it is time for this week's edition of AWA:RAW!
Match #1: Killer Bees vs MLW Tag Team Champions Heart Thrashers (managed by Casandra) in a non-title match.
This match served as a preview to Unforgiven this Sunday when the Killer Bees will take on MLW Tag Team Champions the Heart Thrashers in a best 2 out of 3 falls title match. This match was marked by lots of quick action with the offensive rapidly shifting back and forth between the two tag teams until Jim Brunzell was able to make Brutus Beefcake tap out to a figure four leglock. If the Killer Bees can achieve this same result in 2 out of 3 falls in 3 days at Unforgiven, they will become the new MLW Tag Team Champions!
Winners: Killer Bees
Match #2: Ida Mae Martinez vs Sherri Martel, Match #2 in their best of 7 series to determine MLW's first-ever Ladies Champion.
This series resumed with Martinez holding a 1-0 lead over Martel. Martinez dominated this match until Martel left the ring following a Texas Cloverleaf. Martinez went out after Martel but Martel choked her with some television cables to get DQd.
Winner: Ida Mae Martinez by DQ. Martinez leads the series 2-0.
Match #3: Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs Iron Sheik (accompanied by Nikolai Volkoff and managed by Nikita Breznikov).
Duggan stormed the ring and immediately proceeded to launch an offensive assault against the Iron Sheik. Duggan looked impressive and appeared to have the Iron Sheik in trouble when Volkoff, Duggan's opponent this Sunday at Unforgiven in a 2X4 match, reached through the ropes to grab Duggan. A brawl between Duggan and Volkoff ensued which led to Volkoff flattening Duggan who was then hit with a sidewinder suplex followed by the CAMEL CLUTCH by the Iron Sheik which caused Duggan to tap out. The Iron Sheik wins the match thanks to the interference of Volkoff.
Winner: Iron Sheik
Backstage: The Double Axe Attack collide into the Vachons. Mad Dog and Butcher Vachon exchange words with the Hennigs who challenge them to a tag team match of family vs family at Unforgiven!
Match #4: Red Bastien vs Gorgeous George Early in the match, George had Bastien in trouble and was going for the quick win with his SPINNING TOE HOLD while holding the ropes for extra leverage. But Jim Londos, George's opponent at Unforgiven, ran out and kicked George's hands off the ropes which caused George to loosen his finisher and allowed Bastien to recover. George found himself distracted by Londos with whom he started shouting at and this caused him to go on the defensive as Bastien blocked a snap mare and responded with a flying head scissors . But George later won the match when he got away with spraying one of his perfume substances into the eyes of Bastien outside of the ring. As a result, Bastien was counted out and George picked up the victory while continuing to shout at Londos.
Winner: Gorgeous George by countout
End of First Half. Second Half will be posted next and will include Jimmy Snuka vs Don Muraco, Crusher vs Ox Baker in a finisher match, and Brothers of Other Mothers (Bobo Brazil and Mil Mascaras) vs World Champion Nick Bockwinkel and Ray Stevens of the Heenan Family!

Major League Wrestling (MLW) AWA:RAW Thursday September 14, 2006 Thomas & Mack in Las Vegas, NV (Second Half of the Show, First Half is posted above)
Match #5: Jimmy Snuka vs Don Muraco
This Snuka vs Muraco match was a tuneup for both wrestlers as they get set to confront each other in a dog collar match at Unforgiven this Sunday!
This was a competitive match that started off with the action shifting back and forth until Muraco hit Snuka with an Asiatic Spike . Muraco then hit Snuka with a neckbreaker followed by a chokeslam (ch F on the newer charts) for the pinfall victory. Muraco then got on the microphone and told Snuka to get ready for Unforgiven on Sunday when he would get beaten with a dog collar chain just like at the Great American Bash!
Winner: Don Muraco
Match #6: Crusher vs Ox Baker (managed by Bobby Heenan and accompanied by King Kong Bundy) in a finisher match.
In a match that pitted the CRUSHER BOLO vs the HEART PUNCH, the Crusher started off this match by charging into the ring and giving Baker a bodyslam that looked it might have led to an immediate pin attempt if not for the match's stipulation that required the outcome to be decided by either the Crusher's or Baker's finisher. This match turned into a brawl that spilled outside of the ring a couple of times and included both the Crusher and Baker at times appearing to have each other down and in a pinning position but unable to try for the victory as neither one had hit their finisher. The end came when the Crusher appeared clearly in control as he gave Baker power forearms followed by a stomach claw and then a bearhug. The Crusher then tried a powerbomb (ch G on the updated charts) but failed to connect as Bundy reached in and tripped him. Baker then hit the Crusher with a clothesline followed by a HEART PUNCH for the upset victory. Will the Crusher get revenge against Bundy at Unforgiven?
Winner: Ox Baker
After Baker got his arm raised for his controversial victory, trainers and EMTs rushed into the ring to see if the Crusher, who was still on the mat, needed to be put on a stretcher and carried out which would have put his match vs Bundy at Unforgiven in jeopardy. But, to the cheers of the crowd, the Crusher was able to stagger to his feet and tell the crowd that his match vs Bundy at Unforgiven was still on!
Match #7: Antonino Rocca vs Cowboy Bob Orton Jr (accompanied by Intercontinental Champion Larry Zbyszko). Zbyszko arrived in the ring and told the crowd that, instead of Larry Land, tonight they would get to see his body guard Orton Jr systematically dismantle Rocca, Zbyszko's opponent at Unforgiven.
Orton Jr started off strong and, working along with Zbyszko who pummeled Rocca after he was thrown out of the ring by Orton Jr., twice almost pinned Rocca vis his SUPERPLEX finisher. Later in the match, Orton Jr hit Rocca with a dropkick but then missed an elbow to the throat. Rocca battled back and, after a near pinfall victory via a victory roll, managed to win by making Orton Jr submit to his ARGENTINIAN BACKBREAKER to the displeasure of Zbyszko . Will Rocca mange the same outcome and thus win the Intercontinental Championship from Zbyszko at Unforgiven?
Winner: Antonino Rocca
Add for Unforgiven: Sunday September 17 1. Bobo Brazil (seconded by Mil Mascaras) vs World Champion Nick Bockwinkel (seconded by Ray Stevens) 2. Antonino Rocca vs Intercontinental Champion Larry Zbyszko 3. Killer Bees vs MLW Tag Team Champions The Heart Thrashers 4. Jimmy Snuka vs Don Muraco (dog collar match) 5. Crusher vs King Kong Bundy 6. Jim Londos vs Gorgeous George 7. Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs Nikolai Volkoff on a 2X4 match. 8. Double Axe Attack vs the Vachons
Match #8, the main event: Brothers of Other Mothers (Bobo Brazil and Mil Mascaras) vs World Champion Nick Bockwinkel and Ray Stevens.
Bockwinkel and Steven started this match in control and Stevens almost pinned Brazil via BOMBS AWAY. But Brazil battled back and used a quick series of tags with Mascaras to obtain and sustain control of this match that featured the two main combatants and their seconds in the main event at this Sunday's Unforgiven PPV! The match later ended when Brazil pinned Bockwinkel following 5 COCO BUTTS. If this same result happens at Unforgiven, Bobo Brazil will become the new World Champion!
Winners: Brothers of Other Mothers (Brazil and Mascaras).
End of Second Half. Be sure tomorrow to check out NWA:NITRO- the main show of Major League Wrestling's other brand- the NWA!
Also, check back in for Unforgiven presented by Major League Wrestling this Sunday September 19th!

Major League Wrestling (MLW) NWA:NITRO Friday September 15, 2006 Thomas @ Mack in Las Vegas, NV (First Half of the show)
With just 2 days until the AWA brand of Major League Wrestling (MLW) presents Unforgiven on September 17, it is now time for NWA:NITRO- the main weekly show for the NWA brand of Major League Wrestling (MLW)!
In the Ring: This week's show starts with United States Champion Buddy Rogers in the ring along with the rest of the Four Horsemen: Harley Race and the United States Tag Team Champions the Valentines.
-Rogers says it is now time for MLW Champion Frank Gotch to keep his promise by which he agreed to give Rogers a rematch for the MLW Championship this week on NWA:NITRO if Rogers agreed to defend his United States Championship against Diamond Dallas Page on last week's show which Rogers did.
-Gotch arrives in the ring and says he'll keep his promise and wrestle Rogers in the main event tonight but it will be a non-title match
-Rogers reacts with outrage and tells Gotch that he promised him a rematch for the MLW Championship, not a non-title rematch.
-Gotch says no, he only promised to wrestle Rogers again and Rogers just assumed it would be for the MLW Championship. Gotch says to check last week's tapes if Rogers disagrees.
- Gotch however says that he will agree to defend his MLW Championship against Rogers at Sin City Showdown on October 8 provided Rogers gives DDP another rematch for the United States Championship on tonight's show because Gotch says he thinks DDP got screwed by the referee in last week's match against Rogers that Page was clearly winning at the time before getting DQd.
-Rogers agrees to Gotch's request to defend his United States Championship again against DDP tonight in return for a title shot against Gotch at Sin City Showdown.
-MLW Chairman Bruno Sammartino arrives and says it is official, Frank Gotch will defend the MLW Championship against United States Championship Buddy Rogers at Sin City Showdown and Buddy Rogers will defend the United States Championship against DDP in tonight's main event.
-Sammartino also tells the Valentines to stay in the ring because they're wrestling in the first match tonight!
Match #1: Dan Severn and Giant Baba vs United States Tag Team Champions the Valentines (accompanied by United States Champion Buddy Rogers and Harley Race).
Rogers and Race, the Valentines' fellow members of the Four Horsemen, stayed around at ringside for this match. Johnny Valentine got this match off to a quick start against former World Tag Team Champions Severn and Baba by giving Baba a knee lift followed by a forearm bludgeon and then an ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER that Baba kicked out of. Johnny Valentine then threw Baba out of the ring where he got pummeled by Rogers and Race who then threw Baba back into the ring toward Johnny Valentine. Johnny Valentine hit Babb with another ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER and secured the 3 count as Rogers and Race both held Baba's legs with 2 hands. The Four Horsemen together laugh heading to the back as they just cheated their way to another victory.
Winners: United States Tag Team Champions the Valentines.
Match #2: "Bullet" Bob Armstrong vs Rick Rude
As Rude arrogantly posed for the crowd, Armstrong came up from behind to hit him with an elbow drop followed by karate chops, a knee lift, and a vertical suplex that led to a pin attempt that Rude managed to kick out of. The "Bullet" then placed Rude in his SLEEPER but Rude managed to grab the ropes to force Armstrong to release his finishing hold. Armstrong then tried to throw Rude into the turnbuckle but Rude reversed this move to throw the "Bullet" into the turnbuckle while running alongside him to deliver an awesome running clothesline. As the "Bullet" appeared stunned and grabbed his neck in pain, Rude delivered his RUDE AWAKENING for the victory. Along with his victory last week against Billy "Red" Lyons, it appears Rude is finally set to enter Major League Wrestling's Power 25!
Winner: Rick Rude
Match #3: Operation: Pimp (Hardcore Hodge and Steve Corino) vs Barroom Heroes (Sandman and Justin Credible- managed by Phantasy)
As usual, the crowd greeted Phantasy with chants of "bar slut, bar slut, bar slut." The referee had a hard time controlling this match as Operation:Pimp seemed more determined to punish the Barroom Heroes for ambushing them twice over the past two weeks than on actually winning the match. The action repeatedly spilled outside of the ring where the referee finally called for the bell after the Sandman viciously used used his SINGAPORE CANE, thrown to him by Phantasy, to pulverize Hardcore Hodge. In their debut match as a tag team together, Operation:Pimp wins by disqualification but it looks like they still have issues to resolve with the Barroom Heroes.
Winner: Operation:Pimp by DQ
End of the First Half. Second Half will be posted next and will include a #1 contenders match for the right to wrestle the World Tag Team Champions the Midnight Express at Sin City Showdown, the Road Warriors on the Hot Seat, and the main event of Diamond Dallas Page challenging United States Champion Buddy Rogers!

Major League Wrestling (MLW) NWA:NITRO Friday September 15, 2006 Thomas @ Mack in Las Vegas, NV (Second Half of the show, First Half is posted above)
Match #4: Boogie Woogie Man and Johnny Valiant vs Fabulous Kangaroos (managed by Captain Kangaroo).
In this #1 contenders match to determine the opponents of the World Tag Team Champions the Midnight Express at Sin City Showdown, Jim Cornette, Stan Lane, Bobby Eaton, and Dennis Condrey all arrived at ringside to provide guest commentary. The Boogie Woogie Man and Johnny Valiant earned the right to compete in this #1 contenders match after defeating the Armstrongs two weeks in a row on NWA:Animosity- the weekly "B" show of Major League Wrestling's NWA brand.
This turned out to be a great match as both teams showed their determination to win the right to challenge the Midnight Express for the World Tag Team Championship at Sin City Showdown. At one point, the action spilled outside of the ring where Al Costello grabbed the Boogie Woogie Man and slammed him through the table where the Midnight Express was sitting to send Cornette's men a message. The end of the match came when Johnny Valiant had Costello in trouble but Captain Kangaroo managed to distract Johnny Valiant by acting like he was about to throw a boomerang at him which allowed Costello to regain the offensive with an Aussie Suplex followed by a BOOMERANG with Roy Heffernan that forced the Boogie Woogie Man to make a pin save. But the Fabulous Kangaroos still won the match a few moves later when Heffernan made Johnny Valiant tap out to his STEP OVER TOEHOLD. The Fabulous Kangaroos win the right to challenge the World Tag Team Champions Midnight Express at Sin City Showdown!
Winners: Fabulous Kangaroos
Hot Seat: Road Warriors are this week's guests.
-Bill Apter congratulates Hawk and Animal on their 6 man tag team victory on last week's edition of NWA:NITRO when along with Splatter they defeated their former manager Killer Kowalski and his Dungeon of Doom members Bruiser Brody and Steve "Dr. Death" Williams.
-Apter also comments that the victory last week by the Road Warriors and their earlier victory at Summer Slam seems to indicate that Hawk and Animal are currently winning their feud against Brody and Williams.
-Suddenly, Kowalski, Brody, and Williams arrive on the Hot Seat and say they want to take their feud with the Road Warriors up a notch in a match at Sin City Showdown in which Brody and Williams challenge the Road warriors to meet them inside a steel cage!
-The Road Warriors accept this challenge from Brody and Williams and furthermore challenge them first to a regular tag team match next week on NWA:NITRO!
Add for Sin City Showdown Sunday October 8, 2006 Thomas and Mack in Las Vegas, NV 1. MLW Champion Frank Gotch vs United States Champion Buddy Rogers 2. Match #5, the main event: Diamond Dallas Page (accompanied by Diamond Doll Maxine Babe) vs United States Champion Buddy Rogers
Remembering how poorly he performed in his match last week vs DDP, Rogers was on his guard from the onset of this match and started off giving Page a running tackle as soon as the bell rang. Rogers then gave DDP some dropkicks followed by an atomic drop for a pin attempt that Page kicked out of. Rogers then tried to give DDP a pole ram but Page blocked this move and out of nowhere suddenly hit Rogers with a DIAMOND CUTTER. Shocked, Rogers just manged to kick out before the 3 count. The match continued with both Rogers and Page exchanging offense against each other until DDP threw Rogers out of the ring and went out after him where a violent brawl erupted that led to the referee disqualifying both DDP and Rogers.
Sammartino then appeared and said that after 2 straight weeks DDP and Rogers have not yet wrestled to a conclusive outcome and thus, next week on NWA:NITRO, DDP will challenge Rogers for the United States Championship in a steel cage- the very same type of match in which Rogers dropped the MLW Championship to Gotch two weeks ago on NWA:NITRO. Rogers reacts by shaking the ring ropes with outrage as the show ends and the screen fades to black.

Major League Wrestling (MLW) Unforgiven- presented by MLW's AWA brand Sunday September 17, 2006 Thomas and Mack in Las Vegas, NV
Unforgiven was preceded by a 30 minute segment of Major League Wrestling:Fight Night which recapped the major story lines leading up to tonight's matches and included 1 dark match.
Dark Match: Yukon Eric (accompanied by Cousin Luke) defeated Missing Link via KODIAK KRUNCH
Match #1: Double Axe Attack defeated the Vachons. These two family tag teams put on a great opening match marked by lots of tags and action that spilled out of the ring several times. The end came when Larry Hennig threw Mad Dog Vachon out of the ring and waited for Mad Dog to climb back in through the ropes to hit him immediately with THE AXE for the victory.
Match #2: Jim Londos defeated Gorgeous George by countout. In another good match, Londos and George exchanged offense against each other until Londos hit George with 3 straight crotch lift and slams. Grabbing his crotch in agony, George left the ring seeking to recover but got hit with an impressive falling cross body block from the top turnbuckle by Londos and could not reenter the ring before the referee counted 10.
Match #3: Hacksaw Jim Duggan defeated Nikolai Volkoff in a 2X4 match. Duggan was the first to grab a 2X4 and used it to whack Volkoff all around the ring including 3 straight times when he hit Volkoff with the board after throwing the big Russian into the ropes. Duggan also once hit Volkoff with the 2X4 while performing a deathjump from the top turnbuckle. The Iron Sheik, Volkoff's tag team partner, suddenly arrived and tried to interfere but was thrown out of the ring by Duggan. The end came when Volkoff grabbed a 2X4 and tried to hit Duggan. But Duggan ducked out of the way from Volkoff's blow and the board instead ricocheted off the ropes and rebounded to hit Volkoff back in the face. Duggan then performed his FLYING SPEAR for the victory over his enemy Volkoff.
Match #4: The Heart Thrashers (Brutus Beefcake and Buff Bagwell, managed by Cassandra) defeated the Killer Bees 2-1 in a best 2 out of 3 falls match to retain the MLW Tag Team Championship.
-The first fall was tremendous filled with non-stop rapid action and countless quick tags by both teams who each scored several close pin falls against each other. The Heart Thrashers won this fall when Bagwell pinned B. Brian Blair via BUFF BLOCKBUSTER. Although they performed a successful MASKED CONFUSION earlier in the match, the Killer Bees were still defeated.
-In the second fall, the Killer Bees really dominated the action. The end came when Cassandra tried to interfere by taking off her heel and trying to hit Jim Brunzell. But Brunzell instead whipped Beefcake into Cassandra which knocked her off the apron. As Beefcake took a few staggering steps as a result of this collision, Brunzell delivered a KILLER DROPKICK against him for the victory to tie things up 1-1.
-In the third and deciding fall, the end came when Bagwell threw Blair into the turnbuckle and then delivered a running shoulder tackle. Bagwell then hit Blair with a dropkick and covered him, while holding the ropes for extra leverage without the referee seeing, for the victory. The Heart Thrashers retain the MLW Tag Team Championship.
Match #5: Larry Zbyszko (accompanied by body guard Cowboy Bob Orton Jr) defeated Antonino Rocca to retain the Intercontinental Championship. Despite a strong start by Rocca, Zbyszko recovered and won via a PILEDRIVER. Zbyszko then told the Sin City crowd that he hopes they lost money trying to bet against him tonight.
Match #6: Crusher defeated King Kong Bundy (managed by Bobby Heenan and accompanied by the Heenan Family "problem solver" Ox Baker). A good match that the referee had trouble controlling as the action spilled out of the ring several times where the two men brawled and threw each other into tables. But overall the Crusher demonstrated why Nick Bockwinkel has expressed concern about possibly having to defend the World Championship against him sometime in the future. The Crusher won when he gave Bundy a pole ram. The Crusher then knocked down Baker, who had jumped on the ring apron, with some power forearms before covering Bundy for the 3 count.
Match #7: Jimmy Snuka defeated Don Muraco in a dog collar match. Snuka got his long awaited revenge for the injuries inflicted upon him by Muraco with a dog collar at the Great American Bash when Snuka had just defeated Gorgeous George in a dog collar match. The end came when Snuka and Muraco both clotheslined each other with the dog collar chain and both of them fell to the mat as a result. Snuka was the first to get up and he immediately climbed to the top turnbuckle and, even with the dog collar attached to his neck, performed his SUPERFLY LEAP (+4) against Muraco for the victory. Snuka is now 2-0 in dog collar matches in Major League Wrestling and has defeated both of his opponents (Muraco tonight and Gorgeous George at the Great American Bash) in these matches by performing his SUPERFLY LEAP finisher while having the dog collar chain attached to his neck!
Match #8: Nick Bockwinkel (seconded by Ray Stevens, managed by Bobby Heenan) defeated Bobo Brazil (seconded by Mil Mascaras) to retain the World Championship. Despite some great early offense by Brazil who had won the Gold Rush Tournament two weeks ago for the right to challenge for the World Championship tonight, Bockwinkel looked great in his title defense tonight. Late in the match, Mascaras caught Stevens trying to help Bockwinkel cheat. As Mascaras and Stevens brawled outside of the ring, Bockwinkel managed to put Brazil away via his BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER for the victory. Bockwinkel still has not lost the World Championship since winning it in a tournament back when Major League Wrestling (MLW) started up in late March of 2006!
As Bockwinkel, Stevens, and Heenan celebrate yet another successful title defense by Bockwinkel, the show comes to an end and the screen fades to black.
