Eh, we're so far ahead of everyone right now that it's hard to keep track of how far back the Yankees are right now.  But I think I was thinking that the Yankees are a $200M team that is currently seven games below .500, rather than being seven out of first. |

Well, duh, I know that. It just always struck me as pretentious since the "baseball Giants" haven't been in New York since, what, Eisenhower was president?
Do we have Chris Berman or Pat Summerall to thank for that? I'm sure it's one of them that's responsible.

He and the rest of the "I'm cooler than you" sportscasting core make me sick. Put him, Stewie Scott, Jon Miller, and Scott Van Pelt in a van and drive it off a cliff and the sportscasting world would be a better place. |
