In other words, if you want to see the Age of the Fall debut, buy the DVD! Either that or the PPV will be 'hacked' at the end to show the footage.

Or at the start of the next ppv they will say "This is what happened several minutes after we went off the air" and then you have a instant main event.

Yeah. Don't show the most interesting thing that has happened in ROH in quite a long time, and could generate quite the buzz amongst new fans, show the spot-centric style that is driving many long time ROH fans away.
Here's to spotiness, fighting spirit, and the first 2/3s of a match that has nothing to do with the ending.
At least Danielson will be on both shows.

Ok, before I begin, I was in a terrible mood when I wrote that so it comes off a lot more harshly and as more of a hit than it was intended to be.
But there are problems with ROH. There's the 1...2...NOOOOO!!!!! Everyone has fighting spirit crap that ruin what should be having that vibe. If every match is Kobashi/Joe then Kobashi/Joe isn't special anymore.
And there's a lot of spotty, crappy, indy undercard workers that go for ROH now. I just don't like that kind of wrestling. There are a lot of ROH workers that I do like and I really do like Gabe's booking. One of those ROH workers that like?
Jimmy Jacobs. He's getting robbed and this should be a shining moment for him and for ROH.

I still think this is some sort of work or they will play it on the following ppv all "This happened after we went off the air!". If its a work they will probably have Age of the Fall hack the show or something(hell P161 is a nerdy internet coalition anyway why not) and regardless its gonna be on the dvd. Its gonna get out there. The number 1 reason I think its a work is at the very start of the show during the Nigel interview a P161 fan jumps the rail and gets on the mic. If this is edited out at the beginning of the show then I think we will have a answer. I kinda see where they are coming from though it is pretty hardcore even by wresting smark standards.People who had kids were leaving the show and non-fans that were there with friends were saying "You are all sick." I hope it makes it in because it was awesome. They still should edit out the boring chants because I wanted to hear what Jimmy had to say.

See, I hope every match is good and suspenseful. ROH still has plenty of squash matches and is maybe the best fed around as far as surprise finishes go, so I just can't follow you here, man.
Looking over the roster and the most recent cards I've seen, I don't understand when you say there are a lot of crappy wrestlers on the cards. I have to disagree 100%. I think ROH's talent level has gone up even with the TNA guys leaving. Pearce, Albright, Morishima, Danielson, McGuinness, Castagnoli, The Briscoes, Kevin Steen, Jacobs, KENTA/Marufuji, Hero... more... man, the roster now is fantastic. Plus we have some 'new' faces coming in often enough to keep things fresh. You're welcome to your opinion, but I personally am very excited for ROH right now and think it's fantastic.
edit: Austin Aries, Davey Richards, Delirious...
Huh? Jacobs is the main character in the main feud in Ring of Honor now. The centerpiece of an amazing angle against the best tag team in the world. Robbed? Geez, I'd like to see what a strong push would be in your opinion.
But I'm tired of telling people why ROH is awesome. This isn't an argument I'm getting involved in.

I felt bad for the fans chanting "boring" at Jimmy Jacobs during his promo but from where I was sitting you couldn't hear what he was saying. The P.A. was pretty crappy and rumor has it they just bought it.

That was the most intense angle I have ever seen live. I still can't get over seeing Jay Briscoe being hung upside down and bleeding all over Jimmy Jacobs.

I just watched the clip, my thoughts, "Eh". That promo was weak. Other than the blood coming down there are 100 guys out there at least who could've done this better. I'll hold off judgement on the in the ring product until I get around to buying a few DVD's (Or getting Knapik to mail me some  ) but if the highlights they keep showing of the fat asian guy are the best they got I guess I'm not missing much. |

I don't think you would enjoy Ring of Honor, Havoc. If by not enjoying you mean not watching bad promos and fat bad wrestling Japanese guys, you're probably right. However, I have thought of watching more. I want to see Danielson and the Briscoes and I really want to see Nigel ( he's got a cool look). However, when you put over a fat slow Japanese guy who is not as good as Tajiri (or 100 other Japanese wrestlers) it's hard to want the product. |
