I'd like to do one, definitely. If not 2120, then for sure by 2121. We'll see if he can be a mover and shaker in this league like Jack of Diamonds and Raven before him!

Mark, I have a question. Is Scourge still hanging around as a ref for CPC or was he part of the budget cuts?

Glad you're excited about the CPC, Abe. We aim to please!
As to Scourge's referee card, feel free to use him if you want to. I don't suppose he's paid a whole lot more than other refs. I've never addressed him in the handbooks because it just seems like a waste of space!

What we need is a Rubicon T-shirt.;D
Mark, will there be any hints on Saboteur in the 2120 booklet?

Funny you should mention merchandise for the Court. We've been working on a design for a pair of boxer shorts with the Jester's face on it. Around the waistband it reads "There once was a man from Nantucket...hahahaha..." To the Saboteur question, there will be hints ... but you may have to read between some lines to figure out his intentions.

Mark, Will either one or both of the Punks get a new card next year? I hope so, they were the best tag team for me befor the split. They need a tag finisher.

They're not currently in the works for new cards in 2120, and there's a fairly good reason why. GalactiCon attendees will probably know what I'm talking about. But stay tuned; things can always change.

What Mark always watned I'm sure, a Q and A section;) Maybe this should be stickied?
Anyways, my next question: Do you have a basic idea of the ratio between new characters and updates for 2120?

Anyways, my next question: Do you have a basic idea of the ratio between new characters and updates for 2120? As I've got it sketched right now, it's going to be much heavier on the update side, mainly so that the GWF has a chance to possibly catch up a bit in the numbers game. Of the 10 cards (including 2 SEs), I've currently got it at 8 updates, 2 new. This is all subject to change, of course.

Okay, I 'll ask:
What about Mensar?
Any plans for the future?

If Tom doesn't want him, yes. And he hasn't told me yet that he wants him back. (That's really the reason Mensar left in the first place -- Tom said he might want to use him in the GWF again.) Stay tuned!

I've got some questions for Mark that can I hope give fans a glimpse into his creative side.
1. If you could take one (and only one) element from the real world of pro wrestling (either past or present) and incorporate as THE primary element in CPC, what would that element be & why?
2. If you had to chose one real life pro wrestler (past or present) who best embodied the elements you are trying to incorporate into CPC (as an ideal) who would it be & why?
3. Were you to compare your vision of what you'd like CPC to ideally become with another real life promotion (past or present) which one would it be? What would you have to accomplish creatively to reach that goal from this point forward?

I'll probably think of something better to say as soon as I hit "Post," but let me give it a try here. 1. What I'd really like is for the general fan base of "real" wrestling to be able to go back to the days when the business wasn't so open and there were very few smarts around. In a lot of ways, less information is better. One can suspend one's disbelief better in that kind of environment and believe that guys like the Iron Sheik and Jim Duggan really might hate each other, rather than read that they were caught together in a car smoking weed. But that's obviously impossible now that Pandora is out of the box. So I suppose that what I really hope to incorporate is the element of surprise that's largely missing from today's wrestling. Maybe it's a question of my own maturity level, but I know that back in the days before the Internet or before I read anything like the Observer or the Torch, I was able to be shocked by some developments more than I am today. And if I am surprised today, it's usually in an underwhelming way. (e.g. this week's Raw -- "Oh, Orton won the battle royal instead of Edge. Interesting...") I enjoy surprising people. Granted, I'm not always successful, but that's always the aim. 2. I don't know that there's any one wrestler or personality that embodies the answer to #1, but maybe the promotion of the NWA in the early to mid eighties might qualify? I remember marking out heavily when Jim Cornette and the Midnights got punked by Paul E. and the original Midnights (a match I was reminded of at this year's Night at the Matches at the Con). Completely didn't see that coming. 3. I've often said that I'd like the CPC to be seen more as ECW than WCW during the Monday Night War, but more in the ideology of the fanbase and the work ethic of the performers than in anything "extreme." I suppose that '80s NWA comparison might be brought up again. I just remember that time fondly. Most of the stories were good and believable, the fans in the south really seemed to dig what was happening, and the wrestlers (for the most part) could do a good job in getting their points across whether in the ring or on the mic. What I have to do creatively to get to that point? Keep writing what I enjoy. I firmly believe that as long as I pay attention to what I want to accomplish and entertain myself, I'll entertain the majority of others. Okay, you can stop looking inside my brain now...

Oh you just wait Mark, this isn't over, you cannot continue on without answering my questions THREE ....
#1 What do you like bettter Ketchup or Mustard
#2 Why doesn't the CPC have made up matches like the GWF, I think the CPC needs some unique matches like a TLC match or maybe a special outlaw fight club match A FIGHT CLUB match ... maybe have rules where the fight takes place in a back alley of the arena, I know thats a bit crazy but you get my overall idea right? (just to clarify the question is the first part not the part about do you get the overall idea right part)
#3 I dont know if this has been asked before but who are you favorite wrestlers and does that bias every play into an angle?
PS - Jack of Diamonds and Mad Jester Rule, LONG LIVE THE ROYAL COURT ... do I even need to point out I am the biggest royal court mark ,,,, get it, you like how i do that playing on marks name, man Im funny ...

CPC DOES HAVE ONE UNIQUE MATCH THAT THE GWF DOESNT AND THATS THE ZERO GRAVITY MATCH. COLBY WAS THE ONE THAT INVENTED IT
