I don't know if this is possible but I thought I'd put it out here and see.
Would there ever be a way to import win/loss records, thereby entering them in one fail swoop?
For example, I have my results from 2087 - 2099. If I created a file to BDS*'s specs could I import it into my Dataset and have it automatically enter everything? As long as my wrestler's were named EXACTLY as they are on the cards and it was a perfectly formatted file or spreadsheet or whatever.
The reason I'm asking is because I L O V E the stattracker and am looking forward to entering everything in there eventually. I'm about to start an Early Classics fed and would love to enter in the stats now and not have to re-enter them when/if EC makes it to COTG online.
OR...
If we do enter in Rosters and Results to the StatTracker and keep the names the same, we could merge them with official cards when they come in.
BDS EDIT: Not yet implemented
Just might be something to think about for the future, if it's even possible.

For the choose your own length rankings choices, any way we can get one that encompasses ALL the events in the date? Meaning once we get all the sets, we could rank from 2074-2121 to get ALL TIME rankings?
So maybe just ALL DATES (taking in all the events in the working dates).
Am I making sense?

I'd think the Global Rankings do something like that right now.

This will happen. If you want to enter records for a fed that isn't in the system yet, go ahead, and you'll be able to merge wrestlers with the officials when they're released.

This is AWESOME news! Will this work if I start adding in my Early Classic GWF into the same fed file as the 2119 guys I've been entering now? Just making sure before I start entering. Again, awesome!

Yeah, you can add them all into one big fed. Or, you can keep them seperate, because I'll add a tool to merge two feds together at some point, too. That'll let you run EC and Classics, for example, then join the two feds into one when your EC hits the 2087 restart.

I was thinking it'd be neat if we could have a 'Recent Happenings' section. Sort of like the top of Tom's fed page. I don't get to play nearly as much as I'd like and sometimes I forget what the most recent thing that happened was. It'd be neat if I could just look at the top of the 'View Cards' page and see a little blurb. Maybe it's just me though. Thanks! BDS EDIT: Again, patience ...

This is coming, there are just some things I have to add in first to make it happen the way I want it to.

Just to confirm what Grant is asking, I can set up the EC guys, and when I enter 'KO Keller" as a bootleg, its'll at some point transfer over to the official Keller? (I thought you'd said this was NOT the case before...) I may well start adding EC cards as well if that's the case

At some point, you will be able to tell it that your homemade KO Keller is the real deal when/if EC gets done. Same with Thantos and 2087, Chaos and War Games, etc. You will basically be picking one of your created wrestlers and informing the system that it is, in fact, an official wrestler from a set that you own. This will come with all sorts of warnings and confirmations because it's going to be irreversable.

That's great! Now if you could just get the Tracker to work on my ancient mac I'd be in online heaven (I know I know, I'm not REALLY asking)

I will never code the tracker to accommodate your ancient Mac. Never, never, never! Works just fine on my PS3, though.

I actually get about 40% functionality on my ancient mac... before it went live everything worked, but apparently recent improvement proved too much for IE 5 . I can log in, and look at stuff... but can't add a card.. I CAN add non-official guys though, so a can set up EC at least... perhaps the last update made it so I can add a card One can hope anyway Ok, I'll stop de-railing now

Back to task!
Is there a way to view your Custom Roster, without being inside another menu?
If there isn't perhaps taht could be an option under 'Manage Custom Rosters"

This is again custom roster related...
It would be nice if when it asks to choose what roster (i.e aCe 2119, GWF 2119, etc) it default to the last one you chose, rather than the first one in alphabetical order.

I'd like to be able to pick the rating personalities available for a custom roster.

One more minor thing, then I swear I'll cut the monologue Under the title history screen, EVERY possible belt is available on the list.. I'd like to be able to have a setting for the data set where you list which titles are active for the fed you're entering..its kinda odd to see them all there. BDS EDIT: Still in discussion

A few things I thought of today.. mostly 'career' type things: - At some point, we're gonna need to have the cards entered separated in some way, rather than a long list... buy year is the most logical, I'd think... maybe links at the bottom to scroll through the years.. the could probably apply the the wrestler's history too -- I think we need some way to note a guy or team as 'inactive' or 'retired' I certainly don't want to be deleting guys, but I don't want guys on the ranking list forever either... I suppose they'll drop off on their own after some period of time, but a flag is alot nicer BDS EDIT: Not yet implemented-- On a similar note, it would be cool if there was a rating option for 'All-Time'... could be very useful in determining your personal hall of fame.. Heck, it could probably even be set up to 'induct' a guy if he has a particular rating you set, with a little Hall of Fame gallery page -- How about some way to denote year end awards, sorta like the titles.. I ask for this, rather than entering said info into a non-match segment because.. BDS EDIT: Still in discussion-- I'd love to see an 'achievements' section on a guy or team's page... listing awards won, titles held, etc.. maybe even injury history (if that gets added) BDS EDIT: Not yet implemented
