Should the rules to the game be somewhere on the site? What if new players don't have the original set and are starting the game thru online?
BDS EDIT: Not yet implemented

Should the rules to the game be somewhere on the site? What if new players don't have the original set and are starting the game thru online? Yes, they should. I'll get them scanned and up on the site ASAP. We're going to be doing more than that, though, before we start marketing outside the established COTG. We're going to cut a video of the Game Table in action - basically a video version of that little chart that came with the initial game package. Maybe have some more video tutorials throughout for little things here and there.

INJURY CHART? We need that on the TABLE... The Feud Table is in there already, if that's what you mean. If you mean the actual chart with the effects of various degrees of injuries, then that's something we'll have to decide how to present. It wouldn't do any good to have it be part of the Game Table, because it's nothing you roll on, but there's no reason we couldn't present it in the downloads section. What do y'all think?

Given that some people may only be purchasing the online version of the game in the near future I think it's only fair that there are downloadable versions of all the books and such forth that aren't presented via the game table itself.Including rules, set books and all that.

Yes the injury chart in download form would be solid.
BDS EDIT: Still in discussion

While playing my little Exhibition matches today it struck me that we should be able to load the manager's cards onto the table with just the Distractor Rating on them. I had forgotten Strutter's Distractor rating and had to click back to the Gallery to look it up. Maybe a possible future integration with the charts, much like the Ropes, Turnbuckle, Ring charts are clickable on the cards, manager's cards can be loaded the same way.

Can this tweak.... * TWEAK: Cards will now display in reverse chronological order on the card listing screen, giving you your most recent cards first. Be added to the 'Create A Card' page too? To me it'd help numbering the new card if the most recent card was at the top. For you, Grant, of course! Done. I guess since you were able to so quickly accommodate, I'll allow you to use the Ballad Of Reptillo Lyrics in your sig royalty free! You're the man!

I haven't seen it discussed in a while, but is there any word on the search feature for the game table? One of the biggest selling points of the tracker was being able to do a search for a specific wrestler and be able to see all of his opponents, etc (mainly for scheduling and records purposes). For those of us with "just" the stat tracker, will we ever have a way to do the searches for our "bootlegs" (I personally don't use bootlegs, but since I don't want to re-buy all the cards I own, I input all the "official" wrestlers as bootlegs to use the stat tracker).
BDS EDIT: Implemented in 1.25

To my knowledge the 'search' feature works fine...I just used it yesterday to look up all of Tauran's matches so I know how he's doing against Epoch since they've had 3 matches in my fed already. Are you sure you are looking for it in the right place? It's under the 'View Stats' heading.

Another vote for the injury chart here.

You can't search for non-official wrestlers at this point. That's by oversight, though, and not by design. It's on the list to be fixed on Wednesday.

Thanks BDS, I thought I remembered hearing something about it, but hadn't heard it mentioned in a while. Keep up the good work!

Will it break things if we can put more than 20 matches on a card? I run a yearly Ranking Gauntlet where all available wrestler wrestle and most wrestle more than once. It's sort of an all day wrestling festival. and in 2120 there were 28 matches on the card. I can split these into a two night event if not. Just curious.
The other reason for this would be if you have a log of Non Wrestling Segments on the card as well, you'll need more slots.

A feature to strip a wrestler of a championship in the title history would be nice. Sometimes I strip them of the belt due to say retirement and it would just be nice to say be able to add notes in my history to say they vacated the title on a certain date and why they were stripped of said title.

I'm still getting used to the characters so before each match I click on the name in the stat tracker to get useful info on finisher and background. It may sound petty but a page with a simple list of official (handbook) groups with wrestlers listed beside it for each year would be really helpful. Anyhow I'm sure I'll get used to things eventually. I also agree an injury chart would be great to keep track of things.

Just an idea that popped into my head as I watched this year's Champion's Carnival before I set up my first aCe show. How about an option to set up a round robin style league spread through several shows, with the option to add how many points a win, a draw and a loss will be as well as the league table.

In an addition to the comment above about number of cards per match...
I've realized that you actually can put an unlimited number of matches on each card. It's just the Match Order number only goes up to 20. So for my Ranking Gauntlet I just added a ton of matches with the Order On Card # of 20 and it listed them all. The only bump was I forgot to enter one match and couldn't insert it into the proper place on the card.
So my suggestion would be, a higher number of choices for the Order On Card option.
Thanks

Thanks I would be somewhat reluctant to do that, because I think 20 is too many already, personally. However, as with most things, I'll bow to the majority opinion if that's what most people would like. In the meantime, though, take every match on your card in question BEFORE the one you want to insert and make them order #18, make the insert order #19, and leave the rest at #20, and that will take care of your problem.
