With all the TV coverage I wish that Steve Irwin were still alive so he could shut his annoying, precocious daughter up.

The thing about this stuff is when someone famous dies they milk it till the cow is dry i.e. the EG angle

I'm certain that every single precaution is being taken to make sure his daughter is safe while filming her show....yet part of me can't help but think that these people are tempting fate here.
And yes, Steeelthunder is correct. There's nothing like a celebrity death to stir people up. The media will cover it out the wazoo, and everyone in the world will suddenly be a fan of the dead person. The same way every idiotic college frat guy became a Johnny Cash fan a few years ago, I'm sure most of them will be wearing ridiculous wigs and platform shoes and singing "I feel good" for the next year or so.
In conclusion, I hate nearly every aspect of humanity, especially the way people react to the death of a celebrity to try to somehow latch onto them and share in what should be a private grieving process.

Can someone fill me in here. I have no idea what you guys are talking about besides the fact that The Croc Hunter is dead. I knew that part, but I'm lot on the rest of this. I work a lot. Thanks.

She is going to continue her dad's work. I doubt she'll be doing the risky stuff he did but she is more annoying (if that's possible) than her dad.

From what I understand, both Steve and Terri Irwin were big environmentalists/conservationists before they even met each other, which is probably what brought them together. I think it would be only natural that their kids would be like that, too.
That being said, there's equal parts "nature and nurture" in this. One would think Bindi would be very happy doing this kind of work, but I'm sure there are also people in Mom's ear saying what a great thing it would be. Maybe not in the Eric Bischoff to Ric Flair "That's great television" way, but I'd guess more than Mom is involved in this decision.
But you know what? If you don't want to watch her, turn the TV off or switch channels. Free country, last I checked.
Crikey.

after spending a few nights in the SonofThread chatroom, I'm surprised that traviz didn't say he thought Bindi was kinda hot.

You know, wrestling..? not supposed to accidentally injure the guy..? lol, good point Splattercat. I think the problem I run into is, I have a pretty unique sense of humor, and sometimes I forget that most of you guys are less friends than you are strangers. And a lot of times I'll joke around like I would with my friends, not realizing that it might not be taken as a joke. So the rule of thumb with me is, 98% of the things I say should never be taken seriously.
