Both those are good... though Bill and Ted is a little shaky, I'll give it to you since y'all got a billion points on this question already Bill & Ted "shaky" as a Fantasy/Sci-Fi movie?! If Galaxy Quest counts for Sigourney Weaver (and probably most of its cast), then the two Bill & Ted movies have to be in the same ballpark.

Well, Galaxy Quest was a direct Parody, where Bill and Ted is just.... Bill and Ted (it defies all other description, IMO) I do see your point, which is why I gave you the points Clearly, This was too broad of a question, but that's how it going for us wannabe Alex Trabeks

That's right, she was in Pitch Black. Been a while since I watched that one. Okay, this is going to be my last ones for this question. Kevin Sorbo: Hercules, Kull the Conqueror, Dylan Hunt on Andromeda. Lexi Doig: Andromeda and Jason X and Stargate. Lisa Ryder: Andromeda and Jason X (repetative, I know) and Forever Knight. I go with this since Jason X took place in Space, but that's a REAL stretch, and does not signal the use other horror movies

I can see this turning into a "Who's Line Is It Anyway" scoring system... Wildfire: "OKay, Chris for your bunch of answers I'll give you, 50,000 points, and Splat, you get 75,000 but since you didn't get the Farscape reference in time, you'll end up 5 points behind him no matter what." This contest just became loaded...Frell this game!! <Flips table>

And now, some free-form, IMDb-less associations...
I mentioned V for Vendetta with Hugo Weaving, but Natalie Portman was in that as well (Evey Hammond). The lovely Miss Portman was obviously also Padme Amadala in the Star Wars Prequels, the first of which (The Phantom Meanace) also featured Liam Neeson as Qui-Gon Jinn. From Neeson I could go in any one of several directions, but I think I'll go with his role as Ra's Al-Ghul in Batman Begins (if someone can find a bridge out of the recent Narnia movie -- where Neeson voices Aslan -- I'd like to hear it). Since Christian Bale has already been taken and Morgan Freeman doesn't do a lot of sci-fi/fantasy movies, I'll take Gary Oldman, who played Gordon in Begins and was Dracula in "Bram Stoker's Dracula", a movie my wife hates with a passion. That version of Dracula, in addition to being yet another role for Keanu (Jonathan Harker), also featured Wynona Rider as Mina. My favorite Wynona role is Lydia Deets in Beetlejuice, where BTB missed a perfect opportunity to find a non-Jack Frost role for Michael Keaton but instead I find Catherine O'Hara as Lydia's mom, Delia. Catherine O'Hara is all over the place, usually alongside Eugine Levy in Christopher Guest movies (and the voices of the porcupines in Over the Hedge), but she was also the voices of both Sally and Shock (as in "Lock, Shock, and Barrel", the trick-or-treaters) in A Nightmare Before Christmas. Since I know that movie disturbingly well (and will be boycotting the upcoming 3D release, as I find it to be a money-grubbing ploy by Disney), I also know that Paul "Pee-Wee" Rubens was the voice of Lock. I could bend the rules a little and mention that Rubens was the Penguin's father in a Batman Returns cameo role, but instead I'll veer wildly off-track to mention his role as "The Spleen" in the superhero parody Mystery Men. The main villilan in that movie, Cassanova Frankenstein, was played by Geoffry Rush, who was also the main villian in Pirates of the Carribean (Captain Barbosa). And just to wrap this up so I can do some real work today, I'll repeat two references from earlier to bring this full-circle: Orlando Bloom was Will Turner in PotC, as well as Legolas in LotR; also appearing in LotR was Hugo Weaving as Elrond, who of course was V in V for Vendetta...

(if someone can find a bridge out of the recent Narnia movie -- where Neeson voices Aslan -- I'd like to hear it) Tilda Swinton: Jadis the White Witch in Narnia, and the Angel Gabriel in Constantine. Also Rupert Everett: the voice of Fox in Narnia and Dr. Claw in the live action Inspector Gadget.

Also remember that he wants "major sci fi/fantasy characters"...I think a lot of Chris' and my entries require review.. Eh, the only movie in that rant that I'd consider borderline is Beetlejuice, but that's seriously the first place my mind goes when Wynona Rider is mentioned (although Heathers and Girl, Interrupted aren't far behind).. Also, he defined "major character" as "recurring in a series or non-cameo screen time in a film". The actual level of importance isn't really relevant...

Amazingly, had I not used Keanu in a previous post, you could just slip that in in place of my Gary Oldman link without skipping a beat (Narnia -> Tilda -> Constantine -> Keanu -> B.S. Dracula -> Wynona). Well spotted!
