We were doing this a bit in THREAD, and to be honest, I'm having withdrawl.. so I now present:
Wildfire's Hard-To-Google Trivia (Tm): The Sequel
Here are the rules:
Each question will have lots of possible answers, each one I deem to be valid will be worth 1 point to the first person who posts it. There will also be a answer or two that are Super Secret Bonus Answers(tm) that are worth 2 points. I'll point out if these exist in the question. Each question will be open for some period of time, which I will post with the question.
Once we get started, I'll put the scoreboard here on this first post, to keep things easy.
The first question (a music one) is coming right up!

Question #1: Name a song which contains a classic literature reference. I know 'classic' is pretty subjective.. its defined here as something that I, as an fairly well read man with a college degree, has heard of. You answer should include the name of the band, the name of the song, and the reference (if its not totally obvious by the title) (Due to the shear volume of them, no Bible reference will be allowed, although I do consider it Classic Literature) For example: Rush - Tom Sawyer - Today's Tom Sawyer, he gets high on you... (this one could be considered obvious, btw) There are 2 Super Secret Bonus answers Go to it!

Ramble On by Zeppelin
In the darkest depths of Mordor I met a girl so fair But Gollum, the evil one crept up and slipped away with her.
obviously referencing LOTR. At least it should be obvious to anyone who posts on these boards.

Dont know if this falls under classic...well it's classic King at least
Anthrax - Among the Living
Disease, Disease Spreading the disease With some help from Captain Trips He'll bring the world down to his knees Power, yes Power He'll show them all his power It pulses through his ice cold blood A whole world to devour
I am the walkin' dude I can see all the world Twist your minds with fear I'm the man with power Among the living Follow me or die
Both the Captain Trips and "the walking dude" references are about Randall Flagg and the song is based off Stephen King's The Stand
EDIT: Actually the Captain Trips reference is about the Super Flu...not enough caffiene yet, sorry.

"White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane.
Pretty much the whole entire song is a reference to Alice In Wonderland.

Led Zeppelin - "Stairway to Heaven"
There's a feeling I get when I look to the west And my spirit is crying for leaving
This is a direct allusion to the Elves of Middle Earth crossing the Sundering Sea.

"The Squirming Coil" by Phish quoting classic Greek mythology, probably from Ovid's Metamorphoses.
I'd like to taste the coil someday, Like Icarus, who had to pay. With melted wax and feathers brown, He tasted it on his way down.

And I am shamed that this one took me so long to think of, since Clapton is my favorite artist ... Eric Clapton - "Tales Of Brave Ulysses" I am shamed as well, for not making it one of the bonuses.. this may actually be a cream song, not Clapton solo, but we'll go with it
