You know, Think Holli should get a +1 on the trivia game for answering my Fedor question correct And yes I am being sexist. Not to many chickies know who Fedor is! Yeah, but she's HARDCORE... actually, she's way too cool to be someone's wife... I suspect BDS may have Schizophrenia You know, he actually said that in one of the first e-mails we sent to each other. He was convinced he had created me to keep himself company. Yet something else to prove the two of you think alike.

Today's last fun fact before THREAD turns my mind into a puddle of goo: Best day for THREAD: 9/29... 741 posts! (although today may rival that) Worst day for THREAD since sentience... 82 posts (9/30.. guess we have lives after all) Longest period with no posts: 9 hours exactly (12:43 AM to 9:43 AM on 10/1) Incidently, I think at least half of Ace's posts took place on various days between 11:30 PM and midnight.... I wonder why that is? I'll update the stats and then I'm gonna work some

By the way, have you seen the 84 Episode Three Kingdoms Series Wildfire..? this being the one that was done in China? Did they ever translate that into English? I've only watched like the first five episodes of that one... up to the part where Lu Bu shoots an arrow through his halberd in order to prevent Cao Cao and Liu Bei from killing each other. The Moss Roberts translation of the book is by far the best English translation available.

What do you teach, Turkish? I teach special ed, but I work with kids with learning disabilities, ADHD, stuff like that. I teach in high school, and teach a study skills class and a recovery math program.

it's only about the battle of Red Cliff though mind you, so you won't see Lu Bu or Sima Yi for example... I'm not immediately familiar with a "Kwon" in Three Kingdoms...Unless you mean "Guan" as in Guan Yu... "Kwan" is the Wade-Giles spelling of "Guan," which is what they would use in Taiwan. On the mainland, they use this system called pinyin, which except for all of its "x's" and "q's," looks much more like English than its counterpart.

Turkish is easily one of my five favorite people named Turkish. Ha ha classic. You are definitely the second best guy with the word 'book" in your name. Ever Top spot goes to the guy in Dark City. Sorry

I work in a PSYCHOLOGY book store, I'd know if you were crazy.. it was meant as a compliment I figured you weren't accusing me of being Big Dreamer Swank or anything like that. I just like sucking up to the wife in public whenever possible for the brownie points to trade in at the Holli Store at a later date.

I think each of the two volume run $19.95... luckily, I get to pay wholesale I think the older version of the translation is on Threekingdoms.net, if you can stand reading from the screen I've seen manga in English of the story... unfortunately its the ONLY thing they publish, so I couldn't get a discount I've only heard of the anime second hand, never actually seen it for sale, so you'd have to let 'Cat answer that one. Xiahou Dun is my favorite too... he's always the guy I use first in all the video games

Hey! I do actual real work that people pay me for. I just don't have a boss. It's a subtle and important distinction. Sweet! It's also kind of terrifying still in a way, though, because if I do a bad job and drive away all of my clients, then we'll have to live in a van down by the river. I've only been in business since April and I'm still building up my client base, so every single one counts right now.
