AMPM Express just PMed me about reading his article on TNA wrestling on a wrestling website. That was the day or 2 before he deleated his account.
It is kinda weird. Why would you delete it? Just take a break from posting......

Sad to see Floyd go, but not terribly shocked.

I've talked to AmPm and he said he was tired of all the negative talk on here. He's posting somewhere else now. I wish him luck. Maybe he will come back in time. I look at it as everyone has an opinion and we're all not gonna agree...Thats life.

I've gotten ahold of Floyd. He left because he wasn't enjoying this place anymore.
From what I know, he has no intentions of returning. I also have no idea what happened to Butters. He's been gone for awhile too.

That's really depressing to hear about Floyd. To delete their account because of the board...I hate to hear that.

Butters disapeared after a couple...shall we say...disagreements too. He's also in school, so that could be it too, but going on three months without seeing him is pretty odd.

So how many people have been run off by the negativity on this board now?

If Butters did indeed stop posting cause of the disagreements, then that makes three people I talked to regularly that have left over the stuff. Gordon, Floyd, and Butters.
Yet, even though I've been a lightning rod around here at times...I'm still here, but I did leave for awhile and don't post much anymore inless the need hits me. I'm still here though, remarkably. I'm stubborn.
Edit: I should also add that I don't *DARE* got into the Real-Wrestling areas anymore. Makes things a bit more pleasent around here.

Yeah, if you want sunshine & candy canes all day long, a wrestling discussion board is not the place to be. People could actually have a different opinion than you and might express it. So, if you can't handle that, you should probably go elsewhere. If you like to have discussions about wrestling, this is the place. It's hard to believe that someone having a different opinion than yours could "run you off" our board. That would be like quitting pro wrestling after losing a match. C'mon people, what would Brian Boitano do?

Discussion boards on the internet are always full of negativity and "trolling". You're not going to be able to escape that, no matter where you post.
To be honest, this board would be no fun if everyone was rainbows and sprinkles all the time. Lets face it, everyone has opinions, and not all opinion's are positive. Goes with the territory. You either deal or you delete.
I think AMpm's and others' problem was the fact that the disagreements that frequently pop up turn into fights that involve name calling and what not. Unfortunately, that is also going to happen on any discussion board you decide to become part of. I don't know about other people, but I leave everything on the boards. I try to never take anything personal or with me when I log off and venture into real life. The two to me are totally seperate and seperating the two goes a long way to your enjoyment on this board.
I for one am not made of rainbows.
COTG is one of the best games I have every had the privelege of playing and that alone should be the one thig we can all agree upon. It's the community that makes COTG such a strong sell.

Some people complain that they are "attacked" and now I "don't dare go to real world wrestling boards" Please, its just a wrestling discussion. I have been blasted by plenty of people under the real wrestling section, and I did one thing that most people who either left, or rarely post anymore... I didn't take it personally! For all the people who have blasted me on the boards, I've PM'd atleast once or twice and figured out that behind the discussion board drama and heat, that they're actually pretty good guys. Yes, there will always be exceptions, along with exceptional *ssholes, but it's just a wrestling discussion boards. Just like Payback said ...What would Brian Boitano do?

Well, if you're not familiar with the South Park movie, "Bigger, Longer, and Uncut" the song says, "I'm sure he'd kick an a** or 2, that's what Brian Boitano'd do" ;D

Meh, I've been attacked (note: not "attacked" as Mr. Diamond put it), I'm still here...
I said once before, I'm not going anywhere...You're right, it's just a message board...AMPMExpress and Floyd probably felt the BS that occasionally goes down wasn't worth it, so they left for greener pastures...Nothing wrong with that, like I've said, if you don't like something, have nothing to do with it, why endure it and add undue negativity to your life..?
Speaking of Negativity, there are VERY VERY VERY few people on here that post in a negative manner...There's an old adage I'm sure you're all familiar with: "If you can't say something nice..." etc...We're not talking about rainbows, we're talking about discussion...It's not hard to get your point across without using an excess of negativity, anyone can do it...Why make it dramatic..?
And for the record, I know exactly what Brian Boitano would do... ;D
