Yes it is optional. Sharing my opinion on things will always be optional.

That threat about "no longer an option" just proves alot of the things I've been saying.

Are you enjoying this? 7 pages all because of you! Also a few people trying to be like you while dodging the iron hand of the evil men with yellow names!

Okay seriously, the boards have rules; you break them, you get the axe; it happens.

I only talked with Swarm once, but never had a problem with him or anyone else on this board, and unless I get banned for my anti-cats post, I haven't had trouble with the mods either.

All I know is, Swarm did say he knows what he did and he takes responsibility for it. I don't feel there's any need to defend or slam him. He'll be back and probably banned again, while his posts and posts about him will be the most read and replied to.

As Randy Savage said (okay loose quote), "It's better to get boos than nothing at all."


And if he has anything in his fed about anit-cats, anti-Hogan, or Anti-Tampa Bay Lightning, I'll be his biggest fan!

It's not that I think you're incompetent. I just have a problem with authority figures, mainly those who run totalitarian internet message boards.

Really I don't give a rat's you-know. I'm here for COTG because its the greatest game in the world.

There's no use saying anything against you because you'll just kick me off for a day (or longer) and you have the veil of the internet to hide behind.

No one else seems to care that certain individuals are singled out so as far as this board is concerned Voltaire is dead and buried (you know the guy who said "I do not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.").

Oh butters, I found that at a website in case I misquoted it and your abnormally large brain has a problem with the words I credited to the Frenchman.

A friend of ours is from Cuba and while riding a bus in Cuba, someone had meat, just a thing of meat on the bus. They asked no questions and locked everyone up because it's illegal there. Not just overnight, but some jail time. Ask him the meaning of that word. That's why he got out of there and brought his family here.

But to everyone who does have a problem with the boards. Proboards are free to create if I'm not mistaken. It's not that hard to set it up.

And this isn't defending the mods. I've seen some points posters have made about some of the mods comments, but come on. This is a bit blown out of proportion!

Totalitarian- Absolute power, especially when exercised unjustly or cruelly

You cannot deny that the men in yellow (that could be a movie or is it just a coincedence that its also the color of their stomachs?) have absolute power on this board. I cannot even air my grievances without taking a 24 hour vacation. Sounds like a characteristic to me...Are they cruel? Nah. Unjust? Depends who you ask.

And believe me, everyday I wake up in the US I feel blessed that I wasn't born in another country.

Proboards are free to create. But why waste my time? No one would follow anyone away from here. This has a link on the game's homepage. If I were naive, I'd be all over it.

I was done taking about it until you claimed rape and brought Castro into this (that is basically what he does to his people, nice subtle connection).

OR you could air your problems with the mods in private...like The Code explicitly states. Silly us for enforcing the rules we have written.

Pulling back the veil a little bit, just to prove a point...Butters is a friend of mine. The longest friend I have on the 'net, actually. But the other mods can confirm that around a month or so ago, I banned him for 24 hours after making a personal attack on Joe and Gatekeeper. I did it upon reading the attack and without deliberation.

And if you really want to keep making shots at us, like implying things about the colors of our bellies without seeing our shirts off, we can just keep going higher on this.

As it is, this thread's moved far past its point, so I'm exercising my King of the Internet powers and locking it down in a very communist kind of way.
