Terry Taylor without a doubt. A distant second for Typhoon becoming "The Shockmaster".

Taylor because whatever mo he had going was killed by that gimmick. I'm not the first to bring this up but he and Curt Hennig started in the WWE at around the same time and I can just imagine how different things would have been if Taylor had been given the Mr. Perfect gimmick as opposed to Curt. I liked Taylor as a heel in mid south and think he could have pulled that off.

I voted Rooster, but Earthquake becoming the Shark and eventually Golga was pretty bad.
RIP 'Quake.

Definately the Red Rooster, though I'd put "the Model" Rick Martel up there too.

I'll say Smash/Repo Man because when Terry Taylor became the Red Rooster, it was when he changed companies.
Smash was sweet, then he parades out later as RM. That was pretty weak.

The Red Rooster wasn't as bad as everyone wants to say it is...Terry Taylor was crap. They could have strapped that gimmick to someone else and it could have worked. Frigging Isaac Yankem is one of if not the dumbest characters ever. An evil dentist...? Feuding with Bret Hart of all people...? Really...? No.

The Red Rooster was an awful gimmick. The guy spikes his hair, paints it red and does moves like the Chicken wing? Who could you get to make that mess look good? Terry Taylor was a good wrestler. A bit bland as a face but his best stuff is against Chris Adams from the UWF. Plays the cocky heel fairly well. Agreed that this gimmick stuck with him the rest of his career.
Isaac Yankem was awful as well going from a monster in Unabomb to a dentist. Dumb. What about TL Hopper, wresting's plumber? They guy used to be the "Dirty White Boy" in the south. I think everyone liked the Sheepherders better but they had a great career as a comedy team, the Bushwackers. OMG - cool biker bad man to Akeem the African Dream. Pretty lousy. Beefcake had too many gimmicks to even care about.

My vote was Other;
I loved Kama, the Supreme Fighting Machine. I thought he had some great matches with anyone in the ring.
Then they changed him to The Godfather. Not only does he not even wrestle now, not only does he make other wrestlers look completely rediculous by 'paying them off' to not wrestle, but he also had 10 year old kids holding up signs saying, 'Pimpin' ain't easy. I should know!'
Shamrock should've crippled him!
Take care,
Jay

I voted for Sheephearders to Bushwackers, because I thought that it was a waste of talent.
The worst thing about the Red Rooster thing was that it took a guy with a good deal of experience and a solid cocky heel persona and tried to pass him off as a confused rookie who went along with what ever Hennan said. Killed Taylor and put him in a roll he couldn't pull off. Forget the chicken nonsense, that was the flaw with that gimmick.
