I was thinking about this and just wondering what other promoters views are on this subject. Is it right to do, wrong to do, or it doesn't really matter?

It's fair but something I rather not do especially 2 singles titles.

I would allow any wrestler to do so, but remember that increases his defences at PPV, so fatigue plays a big part.

Personally I do not think it is fair now . I mean there is enough Legends sets out now . Its not as if there is only about 10 wrestlers available . Then surely the belts can be shared out , instead of one wrestler owning two or more ? . Its your fed and its up to you , what you do ? .

Although it is certainly not something I would want to happen very often, I am not sure I consider it unfair. Sometimes these things do happen. For instance, last winter Batista simultaneously held both the World Championship and the WWE Tag Team Championship with Rey Mysterio.

It happens all the time in real world wrestling. If it makes for an interesting storyline...then you should go for it!

I wouldn't say it is not "fair", but there should be a way to adjust for the fatigue factor, especially if a guy has to defend both titles in one show.

yes its fair. Many times have I had someone as the Cruiserweight and Heavyweight champion... also some guys have held the IG title along with the GWF title.

If it happens by all means let it. If anything that really puts some prestige and makes that wrestler holding said belts a major commodity in your fed. Also brings forth so many story lines!

I won't allow it when it's the Heavyweight title involved. The Heavyweight title should be the sole belt held by an individual simply because of the prestige involved, in my opinion. Secondary belts are another matter. I don't see a problem with having someone hold more than one secondary belt at a time. But, as many have said, it's all happened in real life so why not in your fed? "Stone Cold" Steve Austin was tag team champion with Triple H while he was WWF Champion and Triple H was Intercontinental Champion. Kurt Angle was both the European and Intercontinental Champion at the same time. Ultimate Warrior held both the WWF and Intercontinental titles for a short time before vacating the IC belt. I'm sure it's happened more than just that, but those are the ones that I remember distinctly.
I know this is the LOW thread, but in my New Beginnings fed, Havoc is the Nova(Soon to be WarGames) Champion, Intergalactic Champion, and one half of the Tag Team Champions, and I'm going to see if he can continue the dominance.
I would say that if you have someone who is doing so well that they capture two titles, let them run with the ball and see what they can do. It could provide you with some cool ideas for storylines, etc. for you fed.
Peace.

When I have a wrestler who wins a second (or third) championship, he or she has the option of defending both titles or vacating one. Once the wrestler decides to defend both titles, he cannot at a later time decide to vacate one. Some wrestlers in my fed will choose to defend whichever they decide is the more prestigious title. And some wrestlers like to collect championship belts like other people collect coins or trading cards. It all depends on the wrestler and storyline possibilities.

Sure it's fair. I wouldn't have a guy hold two equal titles, but holding for instance a singles title and tag(or 6 man tag, etc) or a cruiserweight and U.S title for instance is fine.

I think it's fair but personally, I would only allow a guy to hold 1 singles title at a time.
Like someone referenced earlier. Stone Cold was WWE Champ and HHH was I-C Champ. Then they won the Tag-Team belts together.
I think this scenario is OK, but I think you should have to relinquish the lesser of the 2 singles titles, a la Ultimate Warrior giving up the I-C belt after beating Hogan at WM 6.

It leads to a great set up remember when Jericho had 2 belts and Angle and Benoit got involved, great set up and really memorable matches as 3 greats put on a show.

As long as the World Title isn't one of the belts I'm fine with it. If you're the World Champion you should have no interest in another singles title.

I only allow a wrestler to hold a maximum of 1 singles title and 1 tag title at a time.

It depends on the fed you're running and i would say yes for like secondary belt's like the u.s. title and the crusierweight title or u.s. and tag team title. But as far as the heavyweight or world title i would think a wrestler would want to focus solely on that title.

I try and avoid that as much as possible in my Fed. I just don't like one guy holding multiple titles at once. I don't even like someone being a singles and tag champion at the same time (though that has happened from time to time in my old promotion). Still, it's your Fed. Go with whatever suits you best.
