Neil, im a Richmond fan! We havent been to the grand final since 1982....and have only been in the play off twice since then!!! ( 1995 & 2001)
should have told you im a little biased!!hehehehe! ;D

soug, thats ok is afl like the nfl? neil The Australian Football League is played over 22 weeks. the top eight teams go into the play off( another 6 weeks). the grand final ( super bowl ) is played in the last week of september. it is the most popular sport in australia. |

It's that time again?
Sydney got lucky last year The Eagles should of beaten them and you know it.
Richmond will be lucky to get the wooden spoon ;D
Any of us Yanks to follow the AFL go to afl.com.au
BTW soug.... in the states AFL is The Arena Football League....My AFL team in the Tampa Bay Storm 5 time Champion going for number 6....

They are a boring defensive team ( bit like Chicago Bears!!). I can't see the Eagles doing it again....they just had a good year...no injuries etc.... How can you not vote for a team named Magpies?!?!?!?! believe it or not, they have the most support than any other team in the country! their supporters are die hard ( we call them feral!!!)....good or bad they are always there. opposition supporters really hate them. they have really struggled on the field in the past 2 years. ( 13th & 15th). they made the grand final in 2002 and 2003, but were beaten both times by the Brisbane Lions. The Lion are a bit like the Patriots...they won 3 premierships in a row, were going for a 4th but lost to the Power. No one in AFL history has won 4 in a row. this might be a silly question...but do you know what a magpie is? |
