Probably because your artwork is so vastly different from everything else released by Filsinger Games it wouldn't fit all that well.

It's fine art, but just a little too different IMO.

Dam I didnt realize I was so disliked!

I only tried to be different because I didnt want to look like all the rest.
I can draw in other styles black and white drawings is not a problem. Simple, detailed, modern, old school whatever.

I only drew black and white illustrations for clip art CDs and rarely got to create the way I wanted to for 8 years everyday for 8 to nine hours a day (OT deadlines) so I guess maybe that is why I decided long ago if I can do my own stuff it would be in color, as different from others as possible and try to make my artwork look cool but not dated. I also like to create more action type pics with real wrestling moves. I know alot of the old cards are just simple head shots. I tried to avoid doing the same old style pictures, but if that what you guys like I can make the adjustments. I just like the modern comic artists like Jim Lee, Todd McFarlane, and some old school artists John Byrne and George Perez among many others, so that is what I always strive for.

Regarding the collectors cards i only get to do 1 or 2 cards a year and thats it, not much of a spot light? Plus I still have not gotten a chance to even make up original art for a new character which I would love to do.

Dont get me wrong I like Werner ALOT too, and it he deserves the props that is for sure. I thought it would be just nice to have variety of artwork in the set thats all. Sorta what they do in Marvel comics you see tons of cool styles of different artists over the years. Not more of the same ole same ole.

I don't think anyone dislikes you or your work. It's just that Werner is the PM artist and has been announced as such.

I understand where your coming from but Werner is SUPER OVER right now I think while he does PM and you do the colored cards that works best for everyone.

Your stuff is great no doubt...but so is Werner's. Everyone was thrilled with his work with PM1 and everyone seems to be thrilled with your Krazy Kards so like I said...it ain't broke why fix it?

So maybe next year.

The issue here is that it's not like a compilation of different artists, but more like getting one page of Alex Ross artwork in the middle of a Frank Miller comic.

I've got to admit, when I had to cut some PM characters to make the numbers work Assassin X was the first on the list. He just doesn't fit in. Again, it's not that the art is bad per se...it's just very different to the other cards.

I voted Titan, but I'd also be happy to see a British, Canadian or Japanese character. Just so long as we don't get another Mitsuko the Mongol, with his confused gender and nationality.
