You know, I was laying in bed last night and something hit me. The handbook for 2107 tells of how Doomsayer transevolved Rack and Ruin. Onstage there were said to be TWO transevolvers. In the min 21-teens, Doomsayer sold a Transevolver to Vin Strutter, which we have yet to see used which bothers me also, where did that one go? Why hasn't he used it?
Anyway, the point is, Doomsayer still has one of these suckers gathering dust in his basement somewhere.

These are some great questions!
I have a feeling that we haven't seen the end of the Transevolver yet. Could Doomsayer be working with Monolith behind the scenes??

I would be willing to bet my first born that the Transevolver is long, long, long gone.
It's not coming back.

Will the same thing happen to Disaster that happened to Dreadnaught? Disaster's been transevolved for many years now....

No. I don't think so. Dreadnaught took super doses of the TE...
I'm sure if and when Disaster nears the end of his career Tom will mention that the TE may have something to do with it...but it certianly won't be the focus or reason...
just my opinion.

I agree. Dreadnaught's was a combination of overusage along with refusing to retire despite wear and tear. Disaster, for one, has to be considered tougher stock because he's Aethran. And, as you said, the Transevolver was involved less in his enhancements than it was for good old Comrade Terror. Apples and oranges. No. I don't think so. Dreadnaught took super doses of the TE... I'm sure if and when Disaster nears the end of his career Tom will mention that the TE may have something to do with it...but it certianly won't be the focus or reason... just my opinion.

I could be wrong, but wasn't Steele Freak the result of using the Transevolver. I think he was hyper before he went in.

Plus we don't really know what a Transevolved Gladiator who also gets a Cleansing will react to the affects of the Transevolver
Don't forget Wolf got a cleansing and he lasted a long time

A transevolved Slave Beast anyone? Possibly Amazing Mann? Scimitar could really use a trip through it, too. The thought of Rotunda going through kinda scares me a bit... brrrr... But what I really want to see is the Mighty Tricks transevolved into a monsterous clown! Of course, in my fed, Tricks is damn near unstoppable the way it is.

Those might be interesting, but I think the Transevolver angle has been done to death. Let it go away in my opinion.

I can pretty much guarantee if you asked Tom about the second transevolver that he would have completely forgotten that a second one existed. I think the story is in the past, and won't make a comeback outside of an Alternative Universe storyline.

Tom has mentioned, at least the I rmemeber somehow, that the Transevolver was finished. Doesn't mean I myself haven't used it in a few homebrewed storylines, but officially I think it is gone.
Almost sucks too, to lose such and effective plot device. Big Time

But what I really want to see is the Mighty Tricks transevolved into a monsterous clown! Just watch an old horror sci-fi flick called "Killer Clowns from Outer Space" Pick one of the 8 ft clowns and that's probably what Tricks would look like trasevolved.
