Your favorite fighter you've been defending in this thread about a dead subject "UFC vs. PRIDE". Truely a subject for people who don't have a real sense of the sport of MMA or the agnostic NHB. Now you say Robbie Lawler is a great fighter. So why does Ninja suck again and why does bashing him make me look stupid? I say Ninja is over rated. As in he's not top ten. He might not even be top 20. Back in the day when fighters were less well rounded he shined. I'd put him about a step behind or in front of Mezger. He basically did nothing in middle weight accept beat Joey the dream smasher in Elite. I was impressed that fight, but in all fairness I don't know how good he is.

Hi Turk I was about to post no one but two people is reading this thread.

I do like Chris Leben... but to my ultimate shame I gave up on him right before he fought Terry Martin.. and look what happened. Chris made me look like a tool as a fan.

My thoughts on Leben? (here I'll clean it up for you) He does not get enough credit. Happy? No us vs them remark.

You assume to much.. I use to like prowrestling. Know why? The smarks ruined it for me. (Okay.. that's not entirely fair... but they didn't help).

In prowrestling on the internet there was a us vs them mentality vs the common fan and every in the know smark who wrote a column. There where tons.. And tons of shows I liked that the so called better.. In the know fan use to piss on endlessly. This really doesn't need alot of explaining. I never saw this guy coming... it's one of the times that where a certain select area of the online mma fan base was right about .... Anderson coming to the ufc and cleaning shop. He did just that.

2 Franklin
I know this is a less than ideal number two pick but lets be honest. As far as middle weights go he's passed every test not called Anderson S. I'd like to move him down the list.... But who?

3 Robbie Lawler
A win over Frank Trigg, and Ninja. Seems like a good enough reason to put him at three. I'll admit this top ten isn't perfect.. and i could do alot better but it's a start.

4 Dan Handeron
Is Dan better than pics 1,2, and 3? He could be. But picks 1,2,3 have been doing more at middle weight in the last few months.
I love Dan. He's awesome. Best guy in team quest after Randy left. I could easily bump him to one if he beats the champ.

Again... hell this guy could be number one. I don't know. He's undefeated, he has big wins over Amar, and Misaki. He's part of Brazils top team. What's not to like?

6. Jorge Santiago
Wins over Jeremy Horn and Trever Prangley. He could be better than Lawler. But I kinda did this in a rush. Did you catch the online show he was in?

7. Chael Sonnen
Team quest? Check. win over Trevor Prangley? Check. Win over Amar? Check. Title shot against Filho.. and we have number 7.

Hmm... the number three guy has defeated a... grade C fighter! By your own words a win over Ninja means nothing! So those close decision wins that Arona and Rampage robbed from Ninja should really reflect in the fights they had after Ninja... ;D But they didn't.
