The good old days when a strong wrestler could head butt from with-in the guard and throw knees to the head off a turtled opponent or after a failed sprawl. A lot has changed since then...and what we see today is a far cry from classic vale tudo. |

Carlos Barreto was a enforcer out of Carlson Gracie jr.'s camp. I remember when Bas Rutten challenged Rickson Gracie to an MMA( which Rickson ducked) in Pride Carlos sent a challenge out to Rutten. I never liked Carlos and always rooted for the other guy. I first saw him fighting Dave Beneteau in UFC 15. Dave kicks ass. He is a lawyer now BTW.
