It's been a few years since #2 I think...any word on when the next one might be coming?

Work has been underway on it since earlier in the year. All the bios are almost completed. It will cover the COTG games through 2120. I am editting it, and am waiting to hear back on several special sections, but hope to get it to Tom before CPC2121 comes out. When he decides to release it will then be up to him. Also, it may not be called The GWF Files.

What would be great is a three ring binder format, like the old Who's Who stuff from DC.

What's the reasoning behind not including 2121?

You have to cut off somewhere.

You have to cut off somewhere. Yeah, and it sounds like they are pretty far into production right now with 2121 just coming out and all.

Also, if GWF 2121 was included but CPC and aCe 2121 not, it skews the continuity a little bit. But I imagine the depth of production at this point was more of the issue.

Although I got the impression when talking to Tom that we weren't close to a release on Files 3 yet, which is what prompted me to wonder why 2121 would be excluded. However if the timeline has been moved up and the book will be out before the next CPC and aCe editions, then it makes sense.

Is it gonna include the characters from Early Classics? What about Jack Hood?

All i know is, i can't wait for the new files to be introduced. I also like the idea of a three ring binder, i keep all my match results and win loss records in three ring binders.

Work actually began last year on assigning bios to people for updating. At that point I was actually sort of hoping to have it ready by this years GCon, but then I saw a quote from Tom that it was way too much trouble getting Files 2 ready for the con and he didn't plan to ever do that again, so I changed the plans to afte the Con. The decision was made to cut off at 2120 because aCe 2120 was coming out early in the year and we would have time to include it. Due to some writers having to drop out, the process has run a little longer than I had hoped, but I'm hopeful that Tom will have the new Files in his hands by the time CPC 2121 comes out. Wish me luck.

Everybody.
I'm sorry it has been so long since the last update on this, but my life has been really hectic lately and something had to take a back seat, unfortunately, it was the Files. All of the bios are completed through 2120 for all three products, and I have been working on getting it ready to send to Tom while waiting for some final special sections stuff.
I had an email today from Tom about this, and we may have a big announcement in the near future, so keep watching.

I know there has to be a cutoff point, but 2121 came out nearly a year ago - seems like we should find a way to get it in there.
