Another posting milestone! I started this thread over two years ago with the intent of creating something that would have an enduring and substantive value. The focus has been on providing streaming content resources for those interested in studying different genres and styles of pro wres from across past and present promotions, various geographic locations and a multitude of time periods. Attention to chronology & a brief summary for context were also a part of each post. It was not uncommon to see directly contributed content appearing on other websites...even though the original source was right here in this thread.
I especially liked helping those readers who have had a sincere interest in the topics...but may not necessarily have had the resources sans this thread to engage and entertain those interests. For anyone who has benefited from this thread in such a way...this was my mode of 'paying forward' the same benefits I have previously gained online from others. You can best thank me by showing leadership and 'paying forward' to others online if/when you're in a position to do so in some way.
After over a thousand posts, hundreds of uploads, an endorsement from an MIT Professor and now 30,000 page views...the project will now enter a different stage.With time some very important material has been lost due to several of the hosting web sites going down. Fortunately I was careful to 'spread content' across several different outlets and have the ability to 'recover' and 'revive' lost content at will. That said...the recovery will be a time involved process.
My focus going forward will be on re-archiving what I deem to be the most valuable of the lost content while re-vamping the Table of Contents and restoring it's practical value. New material will continue...but it will no longer be contributed at the same pace. I just wanted to give readers a heads up as to what can be expected in the future.
