Not taking the loss too well I see. Actually, I'm taking it quite well. The Cubs are still in first, and I still believe they'll win the division. I'm actually feeling confident about the Cubbies, which isn't a feeling I normally have. I'll hold off on pushing the panic button for a little while, at least. I more just felt like reminding you that I still think you suck, that's all.

Brewers tied back up for 1st....could it be? Has the Cub Collapse begun??? Stay tuned! Yes, I've given up on my team. In truth, I gave up awhile ago, but actually fooled myself yesterday, when they were up 3-0, into thinking maybe they had something left. Come back when your team doesn't suck so much that even you are forced to admit it, Aquinas. And don't even think about quoting me in my moments of desparation, either. I hereby don't need to mention your moments of desperation

Wow, you don't see three teams tied in the loss column in September too often... whoever wins, its gonna be a hell of a race!

Amazing. The Brewers are back in sole possession of 1st place. Doesn't ANYONE want this thing?
With Sheets back (for now) and the offense having found itself again....the Crew might actually pull this thing off.

With Sheets back (for now) and the offense having found itself again....the Crew might actually pull this thing off. Your optimism is almost sort of cute. Like, for seriously - look at the schedule. Your boys close out the season with 17 straight and their last three series are against the Braves, Cards, and Padres. If the Crew goes .500 from here on out I'll be shocked.

The Cubs will choke. They always do!

Exactly like that, Neil. Exactly like that.
Normally I'd agree with you, Aquinas, but I feel good about this team. Any other year I'd be concerned, but I believe in this team. Lou keeps them calm and keeps them on task, and the lynch pin - Big Z - seemed to get things back on track last game. The schedule favors us from here on out, and I'll take a team that's got players and a manager with rings over those tots you've got up there in Cheesetown.
Cubs win 85 games and take the division by two over the Crew. Write it down in ink.

BDS has always been cool with me (thanks again BDS for my awesome avatar ). If the Cubs once again play a Spring Training Game here in my home town of Las Vegas next March like they have for multiple years then I will automatically but BDS a beer.. BDS, I consider you a friend and I hope your team (the Cubs) makes the playoffs! Mr. Vegas Thank you, Vegas, and right back atcha! I'll be pushing the missus hard for a trip to Mesa for Spring Training this year, but if I don't pull that off, I'll at least see if I can buy a weekend to hit Vegas for the game and to actually see the strip. You can be sure I'll look you up if I make it out that way. Let me know if you come out to Mesa BDS!! I'm right here in Phoenix so we could hit up a game.

It's one of the goals I've got laid out for myself for the business - to be able to take a yearly trip out to Mesa for ST and just work remotely for a week or two.
