The Cardinals just reached .500 yesterday. The Cardinals have scored 575 runs, 26 less than the Cubs. They've given up 636 runs, 87 more than the Cubs. The Cubs are 6-4 in their last 10 games, the same as the Cardinals. The Cubs just got Alfonso Soriano, their best hitter, back yesterday. The Cubs will never have to put Kip Wells (6-14, 5.41) or Anthony Reyes (2-13, 5.33) on the mound in a game that matters. The Cubs don't play 35 games in 34 days to finish out the season, without an off day remaining. The Cardinals do. The Cubs have 5 games left with the Cardinals to step on their measly little bird throats and crush them like we're doing to your team this week. Needless to say, I'm not worried about the Cardinals.  That may be...But we are still only 2 games back. You can spout satistics all you want. We'll send you a thinking of you card from the playoffs. ;D |

Here's the thing people - the Brewers aren't going to win the division. So you can pick either CUBS or CARDINALS. With the fact that the Cardinals suck (FACT) and their hectic schedule that BDS pointed out, and their awful pitching and the fact that they suck... Cubs win by default.

The Cardinals suck and will be down by 3 games at the end of the night.

Geez , why aren't you guys happy? bud thinks you should be. Who cares that you lose as many as you win! You get a little nl central trophy. Like in pee wee league! Everybody wins something! Or at least about 30% of the teams.

I think whats going to end up happening the rest of the season is........Cubs win and Cards win. Cubs lose and Cards lose. Brewers? Well they are inconsequential to me.
