Cubs > Brewers, and I'm on meth to prove it. I really suspected this....but it still saddens me to see it. I knew that BDS' blind love for the sports world's biggest losers had to be drug-influenced. It makes sense.

Can anyone actually imagine a Cubs fan on meth?
They are paranoid enough as is and the nervous habits of a meth addict coupled with Cubs pennant race baseball.
Jeez.

You two are gonna be sorry when Rick Ankiel leads the Cardinals to a Division Title with an even worse record than last year.. Joshsharpie might even come back!

Look at yourself! You're pathetic.
You've so completely given up on your own team that you're predicting the Cardinals to win. You shame me, Aquinas.

Yes, I've given up on my team. In truth, I gave up awhile ago, but actually fooled myself yesterday, when they were up 3-0, into thinking maybe they had something left. But no. Ned Yost is a crap manager without the right experience to lead a young team. I've been saying that since last season. Ben Sheets, if I had my wish, would be pawned off on some other team desperate enough to pay for a guy who -can- be brilliant but gets hurt every year. The team has a world of talent -- they need to bring in a competent, experienced manager next year and do this right. They are better than the Cubs, better than the Cardinals.....this season has been a punch in the nose. Go football!

I'm not sure I'd want him so close as to be in the same division But I would love for them to be able to deal him and his hefty salary and get some talent for it.

Last night made me hopeful. Almost confident. Rich Hill gave up that double to put the Crew up 3-0, and I just kind of shrugged my shoulders.
"Meh. It's early, and the Crew's pen sucks. We'll be good."
I've become the Anti-Aquinas.
GO CUBS!

They are the only team that looks like it has life in it. The Cubs and Brewers have been fumbling over each other for weeks now. The Crew is in 3rd now -- it's the Cards that are the threat.

The Cardinals just reached .500 yesterday. The Cardinals have scored 575 runs, 26 less than the Cubs. They've given up 636 runs, 87 more than the Cubs. The Cubs are 6-4 in their last 10 games, the same as the Cardinals. The Cubs just got Alfonso Soriano, their best hitter, back yesterday. The Cubs will never have to put Kip Wells (6-14, 5.41) or Anthony Reyes (2-13, 5.33) on the mound in a game that matters. The Cubs don't play 35 games in 34 days to finish out the season, without an off day remaining. The Cardinals do. The Cubs have 5 games left with the Cardinals to step on their measly little bird throats and crush them like we're doing to your team this week. Needless to say, I'm not worried about the Cardinals.

The Cardinals suck - this isn't pure opinion or speculation, either, this is statistical fact. They're pitching Kip Freaking Wells tonight! They are not going to win a pennant race in September with that staff they have. It's just not going to happen.

When all is said and done, one fact remains, they are still the Cubs. Enough said.
