There was another thread about separating feds, but I don't really think that's what I'm talking about. There seems to be a need for some sort of structure in there.
Most of the promoters start one thread and then post all relevant stories, or results, or whatever regarding that fed IN THAT ONE THREAD.
But what seems to be really cluttering things up is the increasing number of threads that are started which have only one blurb or just one match and several of these could all be organized into one thread.
Now, I'm not talking about one shot shows or whatever, but specifically as a pormoter there should be a rule about keeping your stuff together. It would make it easierto find feds and be more organized. think of it as a running diary of sorts.

I totally agree.

I think running threads instead of one shots would make the fed forums a lot easier. There are several guys that post one shot shows and it makes following what they're doing really hard. I'd like to see the LOW forum get a fed index like the COTG forum does too.
I have 4 feds going in the LOW forum but that's for effect since I'm running a territory system.

You guys definitely deserve a fed index. I guess its just someone has to be willing to do the work.

To keep this post relevant to the thread, I'll say I agree, it would be nice if the fed forums were easier to navigate.
But, what I really want to say is Pure's dancing HHH and Matt's running skeleton, look really, really cool when you can see them both at the same time. ;D

On the subject of one fed -> one thread, I am in agreement. If there were a way for me to merge threads, I would do so. I'd like to see the LOW forum get a fed index like the COTG forum does too. Is the CotG Fed Thread Index current?

The CotG Index is probably not current, unless another mod has taken up the reigns, because I locked it to avoid excessive talk and the likes.

The CotG fed index is not current, I asked to be put on it and was told I'd have to ask someone else, because they weren't maintaining it anymore.

That's cool. But could we PLEASE encourage people to not make "single post announcements" about what's going on in their fed.
PLEASE.

Yeah, I'm working on a couple of things that I hope will help keep the clutter down and easier to navigate. EDIT:Gawd! The forum is a mess. I need some imput from the folks out there on how they feel about cleaning this thing up. I went back and noticed that I had multiple threads myself from a couple of years ago. I forgot I had even posted them. What I need to know is would everyone be okay with having the old, no longer updated threads deleted in order to clean things up a bit? That would help tremendously in getting this thing in order.

Instead of deleting them, what about having a Fed Thread graveyard to move them to? Or would that even do any good?

Instead of deleting them, what about having a Fed Thread graveyard to move them to? Or would that even do any good? That may be possible. I would have to add another forum but it's no biggie. It could be an archive for all the old threads. I am going to test it and see what I come up with. EDIT: By George I think BDS hit on the answer. I was not aware of this but you can create a sub board. This is where all the older threads will go. No one will be able to post or reply to the threads here however, just view. If someone decides to reactivate their thread, just let me know and I will move it back to the main forum. EDIT EDIT: This is definately the way to go. I've moved 10 pages so far. I will get as much as I can tonight and try to finish it tommorrow.

There's a lot of stuff that could be deleted from people that no longer post on here, but I for one DON'tT want my old stuff deleted. Before someone says that I can simply print it out, keep in mind the whole reason we post our results is to shate them with others. If you can't find your old threads, you're not bookmarking them and that's the whole reason behind the bookmark tool.
