I watched Rambo last night and holy cow, is that movie bloody!
It makes SAW looked like a kids movie as far as body count and gore factor. No one, and I mean, NO ONE dies off-screen.
You see every death and in gory detail. Sly seems to want us to perform a visual autopsy on each death. Maybe it's to take away from the fact that he's a senior citizen still doing things he did 25 years ago.
I liked this movie a lot and if you're a fan of the original, I think you will, too.
Rambo made senseless violence famous, now he makes senseless gore famous.

Fun fact: Stallone fought and fought and fought to get this movie and R Rating...Then he made damn sure it was the bloodiest movie in recent memory...I'm glad he succeeded...  Looking forward to seeing this one for sure... |

Loved this movie as well. As long as you don't go in with unrealistic expectations, you will love it too.
I think they might have really killed a few people, because my God, did some of those deaths look realistic.

I'd like this to be the finale, but we'll see. EDIT: Maybe Sly doesn't have plans. I finaly saw this movie the other night. It's not my favorite of the 4 Rambo movies that have been made so far (for me that's the first one) but I did really enjoy it. If you like the previous Rambo movies then you will probably like this one too. Good to see the character John Rambo back on the big screen again for the first time in almost 20 years!

My favorite scene is with the machine gun and you see limbs and heads explode. I had this glee I haven't had since I saw Kill Bill Vol.1's sword scene. I love fun over the top gore and actually hope they can top themselves for the 5th one. But don't know how they could.
