It was good not great. I oddly enjoyed the camera carrying gimmick. I will probably buy it when it comes out. I assume it will be LOADED with extras.

I finally got around to seing this movie and I don't know how it ends. I have to leave, I was actually getting motion sickness from the movie. I was the 4th person to leave the theatre. A friend of mine is the manager and he told me as he was giving me a free movie pass that he hands out betreen 5-10 passes a day for that movie because of the camera work. Did anyone else notice this.

Other than that I didn't mind what I had seen and I will try to watch the movie in short increments on DVD next month when it comes out.

The whole movie is shot in a hand cam style right? Like Blair Witch? I can see people getting a little ill watching an action type movie shot like that.

Yeah I think some people can handle the movie and some can't. I personally loved the movie. The thing is I don't believe in hype. I was hyped for the movie but I put my expections on low for any movie I see. So if it's okay it comes out great to me. Maybe thats the reason I loved it. I personally felt it came off as a real account of a monster attack in new york city. I will be vague but I loved the upward shot of it and the "bitter" scene with what happened to that one person. I work at a rental store so I warn people about the style of it being shot and let them know so they don't come in expecting a normal movie. I personally would give it a A- to a B cause I felt it was great enough for me to pay my 8 bucks.

But apprently I'm not the norm on this.

It wad good for what it was. If you expected some great film, you may be still searching afterward. If you wanted an interesting take on a Godzilla film, this is it.
