Looks cool.
I always liked how, when Jurgens went to Marvel, he created Dessak to fight Thor.
Dessak> Doomsday

This was decent. I enjoyed it. It doesn't follow the comic at all. The cast is iffy accept Adam Baldwin who does a surprisingly good job as The Man of Steel. The new story is enjoyable, the fights are brutal, and the animation is well done. But it certainly isn't the best thing Timm has done in the animated DCU.
Oddly, a great documentary on the death and return in comics is included that flat out tells you the movie didn't follow the comic at all. I almost would recommend the DVD just for this documentary.
The Best Buy version comes with the first two chapters of DC: The New Frontier which is also being made into an animated movie.

Yesterday when I went to my On Demand channel to see what got added this week to WWE 24/7, I noticed that this also just got added to the movies section of On Demand for a few dollars. I might order it sometime.

Momma. Just watched this. Definetly different from the comic. Cool story, great voice acting, and amazing fight scenes. You have to check out superman's finishing move on Doomsday. Talk about a "superplex". Worth the $15 I paid and more.

Enjoyed it very much, just wish it was a little more true to the comics. It would have been cool to see Doomsday tear apart the weak version of the JLA ( Blue Beetle, Booster Gold and co.) He should have come out of his prison wearing an all green suite ( which Killing Machine looked ALOT like). Still worth it to watch.

Yeah, it was hyped as being on DVD and on demand the same day Yeah, it usually takes a few weeks after the DVD release date for movies to become available on On Demand. But last week, "We Are Marshall" also became available on DVD and on On Demand on the same day.

This is an old thread but I finally saw this today and it was a pretty good animated film. Better than the Ultimate Avengers.
I liked Ultimate Avengers BTW.

Ha, this discussion happened while I was gone, but I got this and Doctor Strange when they came out... I knew they couldn't really follow the Death/Return of Superman, there's just too much to pack into one movie...But I liked this movie a lot...Toyman was a fun addition... And really...Adam Baldwin...I mark for Adam Baldwin...
