Has anybody else watched this on YouTube? I'm not really sure how I feel about it. it does sound better then anything that was on St. Anger. The song is a bit mroe complex, and I guess the comparisons to And Justice are the right way to go.
I dunno. Thoughts?

Bunch of psychopath crybabies. I won't give them 3 cents of my money or 3 seconds of my listening time.
Their shrink is laughing all the way to the bank though.

Either Slayer is a hell of a lot bigger deal than I ever knew, or you really need to listen to something else other than metal. I'm not being sarcastic, by the way. I knew Rubin had worked with the Chili Peppers and discovered the Black Crows, but always thought his contributions to hip-hop were his most notable career achievements.

I mentioned Slayer because we're talking about Metallica. I figured since we're basically talking about a metal band that mentioning one would make more sense then the Red Hot Chili Peppers or the Black Crows.

Surely being the original backer for Smoky Mountain Wrestling would trump all of Rubin's musical output, right??
Really, Rubin's such a big name because he's done everything from a pop standpoint--you can't pin him down as a metal producer or a rap producer or a rock producer.
Hopefully he'll be able to do some studio magic with James' voice, because sure didn't sound good singing it live. That's really the only negative against the song--but it's a big one.
