 How sad was it to hear about the death of Steve Irwin ? . The animal loving mad Australian , often very close to animals . Doing very risky life threatening things with them (especially crocodiles) , to help them breed or save them from danger etc . My heart goes out to his family .

I read about this yesterday, and it's tragic. Like Bill Engvall said, watching him was like watching a car wreck, you don't want to look, but you do anyway. My heart goes out to his family.

My familiy loved watching Steve, and my children have really become interested in learning about animals in large part because of him and his enthusiasm for them. Crazy or not, he's going to be missed by a lot of people, his family most of all. Our thoughts and prayers are with them here.
Godspeed, Steve Irwin. Rest in peace.
