Tomorrow night we have a four episode mini-marathon on the Sci-Fi Channel, and then July 4th we have the release of the First Series with Christopher Eccelston. I've read and heard great things about the Second Series with David Tennant as the Doctor, but I just read off of a Myspace Doctor Who Group, SPOILER...! Billie Piper will not be back for another series of Doctor Who, I'm not sure if she died or any other possible storyline... all I know is that she left on good terms and the new assistant has been casted and they say she's a good choice. Billie Piper will be missed but thats the way things go. I'm also wondering when will the Sci-Fi Channel let us know when Series Two will be picked up and when will they air it, I can't wait to see Series Two!

I can't wait for the new episodes. I hope Sci-Fi picks them up soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had the chance to watch 5 of the new episodes Saturday night, and without giving away any spoilers, they were GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
While I like Eccelston a little better than David Tennant, he will do a great job. His character was funnier than Eccelston's but also had a little darker/rougher edge to him.
The episodes I saw really seemed to focus on the relationships between the main characters. And the actors really make these relationships compelling.
They also seem to have taken the writing up a notch, with the episodes being more intricate and complex.
And one of the episodes I saw easily falls into my Top 10 favorites Doctor Who episodes of all-time.
I can't wait for Sci-Fi to pick up the new season.

Where and How did you see these new episodes? I know they might be on-line for downloading or via one of the Canadian Station in which I've heard they've carried the Dr.Who shows.

I am in a Dr Who fan club. One of the members has a friend in England who sent him tapes of the new episodes. He had a viewing part Saturday night. The episodes were GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
