we took our little guy to see the Wiggles and they did something cool. Murry said, "Hold one while I tune up my guitar" and started playing Stairway to Heaven, which was a pretty cool touch and gave a little something to the parents in the crowd.
At first, I was hoping he wouldn't like the WIggles, but I gotta say, they've grown on me and had fun at the concert. So if you have kids and they Wiggles have a US tour, take those kids out to see them.

I went out to dinner with a friend last Wednesday after coaching my son's tee ball game (my son stayed with his mom that night). As we were leaving the restaurant, this two sets of parents and their kids were walking in and said "We just went to the Wiggles, so now we're drinking!" I replied, "I just got done coaching tee ball, so I had my drinks!"
While I'm glad you enjoyed your time, I'm even more happy that my son isn't into the Wiggles anymore. I couldn't stand those dudes, although the Stairway to Heaven bit is a nice touch. That Captain Feathersword dude creeps me out!

I had a friend with a young son who watched the Wiggles and I just couldn't stand them. Thank goodness that I don't have to deal with it.

Just think Troy, if you had a little rug rat that always ran around watching the Wiggles...just think how low your post count would be!!! ;D

Trav, I agree with you. At first, when my oldest daughter was about 8 months old or so, we saw the Wiggles on Playhouse Disney, and I thought, "Oh dear Lord, don't tell me we're going to be watching these mooks." But, she turns 4 on the 16th, and our other daughter, 2 years old, also loves them...we have the DVDs, we've gotten most of the toys, and we've seen them in concert twice. When they were here last year, Murray played Stairway, plus two Hendrix songs to warm up. It was cool. Plus, last time, I had to take Caitlyn (4 year old) to the bathroom. We came back and Jeff was on a nearby stairway waiting for his cue for "Where's Jeff", so we got to shake his hand and stuff. Overall, they seem like they truly enjoy what they do, and they make my kids happy so that's alright with me. Now, if we suddenly have Wiggles, Captain Feathersword, Wags, Henry, and Dorothy bootlegs flaoting around, then we'll be in trouble. Glad to hear you had a fun time, Trav!

Sure...why not? Although, they all always seem to be happy, so what would the matches be like? Ya can't have fighting moves if you're trying to be everyone's friend, though Henry could probably do a wicked 6 fisted punch, or an 8 foot stomp off the top rope.
