I second that. Metal is just the music I need to relax to.
Take care,

Yeah the "Top 40 Metal Songs Eveh" was pretty good, especially since they put less mainstream bands like Slayer in the top ten- although how "Welcome to the Jungle" or "Detroit Rock City" were above "Pantera's "Walk" is anybody's guess.
Honestly if they are going to put those two anthema- like songs in the top ten, then Twisted Sister's "We're Not Gonna Take It" needs to be there as well.

So... VH1 is actually going to play music this month? Or will all of their stupid non-music programming just be metal related?
"Behind the Music" was both the best and worst thing that ever happened to that channel, with "I Love the 80s" a close second.

So... VH1 is actually going to play music this month? Or will all of their stupid non-music programming just be metal related? They've played some music and have like the Top 40 metal songs and some behind the music planned. They have Ratt and Pantera this week on BTM I do agree with you about Behind the Music though Chris...

Those metal countdowns are just regurgitated BTM clips, but I got a chance to catch the Pantera and Ratt BTM's Thursday night and thought they were great. I wasn't too familiar about the inner workings of either band, so I learned a lot.
I'm a BTM addict, but they're usually just a promo machine for a new album or tour coming out for the band that's showcased.
The "I Love" shows are okay, but most of the D-list comedians aren't really funny at all, and Mo Rocca and Hal Sparks are annoying as Carrot Top.

If anyone cares starting tomorrow night VH1 is doing a four part story on Metal. It should be interesting. I think it's called Heavy!
