This may come as something of a shock to some of you, but I watch the show pretty regularly, and enjoy it. It's raunchy and fowl, and they don't miss any offense, but they do it as (effective) commentary on the assininity of race.

There's a difference between the comedic inversion of a racial stereotype to prove the stupidity of the stereotype (Minoriteam) . . .

and . . .

Using racial stereotypes as the catalyst for enforcement of tired policies and bad practices (WWE).

By the way, for those keeping score at home, I was just honored with a Diversity award from one of the school systems I work for, and another wants to hire me fulltime to take advantage of it. Not bragging here; just pointing out for those who assume my "Blackness" somehow betrays my "American-ness" that my opinions and attitudes aren't the rants of an angry black man.

Congrats on your award. I did an article for UPS recently about a black achiever/diversity award winner. The guy just got from South America on a mission trip and wants to help set up economies for underprivileged countries. He does great work
