I didn't even hear of this movie until I saw EW this week. If you've never heard of the Bell Witch, it's a famous witch in TN. But the thing about it is that it's my wife's cousins who this witch has supposedly cursed. She used to visit them all the time in TN, but hasn't for years. I'm always wanting to go....but I guess I can see this movie. Shame it has that weirdo Donald Sutherland.... imdb.com/title/tt0429573/ |

I knew there was a movie coming out sometime about the Bell Witch, but I hadn't heard anything about it for a while. Any idea of a release date? Someday I'd like to visit the Bell Witch's cave; I love weird stuff like this. . ;D

May 5. I heard about it about two weeks ago, and saw the trailer online. It looks like it might be a good movie. Looking forward to seeing it.

Anyone else see this yet? Would be curious to hear other opinions.
POTENTIAL SPOILER BELOW:
It was ok, somewhat disappointing that it was advertised as 90 minutes long, but ran about 75. Plus, I apparently didn't catch on to the whole 'rape angle.' Oh well. Also disappointed that the Bell Cave and the whole truth/mythology surrounding it weren't played out at all. Acting was good, I liked the visuals, it just seemed a few scenes were edited out that might have made the movie flow better (and be longer).
