Cruise is such a joke now, made funnier by the fact that he takes himself so seriously.
Perhaps his well paid clam- aliens told him to eat it.

Eating the placenta, while not quite normal, is actually more common than we'd think. I've generally heard it being the mother or both parents, but I don't see anything odd about this. Not something I'd want to do, but whatever floats his boat.
But yeah on most things he's bat s*** insane.

One thing about Tom Cruise:
Unlike most other people who become completely out of whack in public, he has yet to fall off. Don't sit around waiting on it either, because I am sure MI:3 will be a major success this summer.
