They should have intro'ed them at the end of X2....it would have been Stryker's pet project in the damn. Could have showed a shot after the flood water settled and had MasterMold's head, looking like it was ripped off it's body. Before the movie ended....with the camera panning closer...his eyes light up. A lot better than the dark Phoenix at the end...

Just to speak about these two subjects above:
My wife gets In Touch magazine and they had pics of people with and without makeup and that Halle Berry looked as fine without makeup as she did with makeup!
But as sexy as she is, I have to admit....I wish they had cast Angela Bassett as Storm....
And what does everyone think of the Juggernaut's costume. I know alot of smarks on the net hate it....but like Turkish said, if Juggernaut is running thru walls, that's pretty dang awesome

Nah, Storm should have been Gina Torres. Halle Berry is an awful Storm because, while she's attractive, she's petite and has no presence. Torres is practically an Amazon and exudes killer confidence, as well as tenderness.

To be honest, I never heard of her name, so I just looked her up on imdb.com. I recognize the face now and can see her being Storm.
I agree with that assessment on Storm/Halle as well Tommy...

I love how Halle Berry picks up and drops the accent through out the previous x men movies. Really. Greatest actress of our generation.
She is REALLY a sore subject with me... she did little to promote the movies, bashed them publicly and made a power play against director bryan singer only to claim her character wasnt showcased well enough.
Im sorry she didnt get the franchises she hope for in 007 (jinx was being considered for a spin off series.) and Catwoman.

Well in regards to the costumes, I quote Cyclops from the first movie " You were expecting blue spandex?"
Juggs' costume is fine. It is what I actually expected. The costumes are so nit- picky anyway. This is not a comic book- and they are trying to show the characters as "real" people. So real people wear flashy outfits? Please.
I am more concerned that Juggernaut and Colossus trade blows , that Vinnie Jones plays Juggs well, and that the movie is good. At least the helmet looks like it would actually allow his head to turn.

I'm less concerned about the costumes and more concerned with Brett Ratner taking over for Bryan Singer. So far, the only idea regarding the films I've heard Ratner cough up is "I know! Let's add a mutant prostitute!"
They did that in the comics. She was one of the worst characters ever invented.
Ever.
And that's saying a lot.

Hopefully he had enough sense to just sit back and let the actors play the roles they already knew. The majority of the cast already had experience with their characters.
The trailers have at least given hope that this won't be the trainwreck that everyone feared when his involvement was announced. We'll see in about seven weeks, though.

Halle Berry has also said that this will be her last time as Storm, regardless of if there is another X-Men movie, a Wolverine movie, or whatever. She complained through each movie about wanting more lines and screen time, then says she doesn't want to do anymore of them. Yeah...that Catwoman thing worked out real well for you there lady. I'm sure you'll be typecast from that and X-Men both. Give me a break. If it's bringing you fame, money, and visibility, who cares??? Ok, that was my rant for now. On the plus side, I am really looking forward to this movie. I think it'll be great, though I am kind of upset about Alan Cummings not returning as one of my favorite characters, Nightcrawler. Anyone know what's up with that?

Halle Berry has also said that this will be her last time as Storm Good riddance. I've heard different things, including not wanting to go through the make-up process again (which I would totally understand). Apparently he is "written out" in the latest video game, which sort of takes place between X2 and X3 if I understand correctly. |

I think it was you Tommy that said in an earlier post about Ms. Torres and after checking her out then, I'd be more than happy to see her step in. There are character changes in movies/TV shows all the time.
Shame about Cummings/Nightcrawler as well. Personally, since I have a lot of love for comics, I'd be the first one there in the morning for that makeup! Dang, how cool would that be...!
